Hi, Phoenix and King Serperior, Nile Goddess has contacted me saying your characters are both accepted. Please join the OOC thread here and introduce yourselves. We'll be treating both Hana and Tetsu as newly-transferring in students about a month after the term has started and in fact there is an opening post from an NPC teacher who I'm taking temporary charge of and she is greeting the new arrivals for a quick orientation tour of the school.

A few posts back in the OOC I did a summary of where the story is currently at and what scenes are active and which characters are free, etc, so please have a read of that.

I will get your characters put up in the School Directory thread as soon as I can.

Name: Satoru Kazama
Age: 17
Position: Student
Sexual Preferences: Straight with submissive tendencies. His interests included breasts and feet fetish along with orgasm control (he's curious about trying it for real). He likes to tease girls or acting tough in front of them sometimes, but never really see himself as a dominant type when it comes to sexual situations.
Appearance: Around 5'8 or 176 cm. Short brown hair with a couple of hair clips on the left side. He looked rather skinny, but his body is quite toned from doing sports. 
Personality: Satoru is honest and quite gullible at times, a trait he inherited from his mother. He could be easily convinced with simple explanations or reasonings, never the one to bother questioning things around him too much. It's not an understatement to label him as an airhead. He has a habit to inadvertently glare at someone whenever he's nervous or feel intimidated, which could lead to some misunderstandings. Despite of this, Satoru is an easy going person and likes making friends with anyone.
Purpose at Arcadia: Satoru was known for his sport talents rather than his academic achievements. He's quick on his feet and often scouted by sport clubs of all sorts. In the middle school he was one of the key players of his school's track team and managed to be in the 3rd spot of the national tournament. He initially joined a high school who's known for its track team, but had to drop out on his first year due to him getting in a couple of fights with student from his school and other schools as well. Most of it happened because he hung out with the bad students who wanted to prevent him from joining the track team.

His father, who worked in a branch office of a Morimoto family's business, had turned into a workaholic after his mother passed away. This resulted in the growing distance between them. Satoru's father was desperate for a promotion after working so hard (or so he thought) for more than 20 years. While drinking with one of his colleagues, he stated that he should just have steal the company's money, and his colleague (drunkly) suggested that he should do it for real. The frustrated man ended up stealing a large amount of money from the office one day, which he spent on escorts and other stuffs. Thanks to the security cameras and a little investigating, he was quickly found out. Satoru's father was facing a possible prison time until he foolishly said he would do anything to make up for his mistake. In the end, he wasn't reported and allowed to keep his job at the condition of his son being enrolled in the St.Arcadia Academy.

Satoru himself wasn't aware of the whole situation, thinking that his transfer to the new school would be a fresh start after what happened in his previous one. He's not particularly looking to join any sport club at this time, wanting to live a normal school life as an ordinary student instead.

Alright, I've had a chance to look.

First, I'm not really a fan of his appearance or image. The whole bleach white with black bangs just seems off to me. We'd prefer to see something a little more in line with a student his age. I can see him being gullible, but being duped into bleaching his hair seems ridiculous.

His reason for being blackmailed is a bit insufficient as well. If the loss wasn't that bad, and could be chalked up to just him screwing up, why go through the hassle of blackmailing him in the first place? The only other reason why would be if they really wanted to get their hands on Satoru, but he doesn't seem to be sexually virile, or interested in sex at all.

I like the changed look a lot. Soccer is a tricky one though and since St Arcadia is quite a small school... I think we established somewhere that it has no more than 150 to 200 students... I very much doubt there will be a soccer team or club. Thus that entire element of his backstory is wasted. You might want to consider a different sport such as swimming, or track, or a martial art. A good runner or another sport needing excellent physical condition would be something the Morimotos might nurture as that would be useful to them.

Where do you see Satoru fitting into the BDSM-y fem-dom-y world of St Arcadia? What do you want out of the game and what do you think Satoru's usefulness to the Morimotos might be? We've had a couple of medium to lighteight slightly submissive male characters submitted recently and we don't want to get swamped by several characters of the same general type. Someone with more physical presence/bulk or obvious sexual stamina would be a student the Morimotos would find useful, even a more dominant male (though how much he'll be allowed to dominate will be controlled of course).

Well the sport part definitely can be changed. I think track club would work the best for him, and I definitely can see him doing martial arts if you prefer that. Another idea is to make him an all rounder type, who's good at sports in general, but not so at other subjects...

As for his role in the school...

3. Malleable boys. Boys willing to be used by women to serve their own ends or as tools to train other girls. These boys would be submissive to dominant women, but dominant to submissive women.

Something like that? I think he can be trained to be more dominant towards the submissive girls in the school. It'd probably take some time, and he might be a bit of a clumsy at being on top at first... I never really write a scene where my male character is on top, so it's also an area I'd like to experiment too, if that's fine with you.

Yes, that works. It would be good if he has a naturally dominant streak to begin with though, so that, while he's willing to take orders from the Social Club seniors (and of course teachers) he can easily give orders to those girls he's asked to train or help with their training. Training of course is always sexual, whether actual sex acts of assisting with putting them into bondage, etc so that the girls get to experience/endure/overcome the pain of bondage and enjoy it.

So having him equally assertive and able to comply with instructions would be ideal - an exact 50/50 switch is very rare so if you would prefer him to be 60/40 or 70/30 on his sexual preferences that is okay, as long as some preference for both dom and sub is there (and you as a player are happy with that - while the game needs certain character types for the setting to work best, we want you to have the most fun possible as well, of course).

I think it all looks good, but the blackmail part needs to still be tweaked to something a little more severe. Not so much an honest mistake by his father's part, but something he tried to get away with illegally, or some type of scandal like an affair. Or, if it was a mistake on his part, then it needs to be crippling, borderline illegal, or something more severe other than 'some financial loss'.

If you are still interested in playing, then please do the following. We are starting a new scene shortly, but we will be moving back into the school dorms for a bit before hand, so this might be a good chance to bring your character in.

First, post your character profile in the School Directory. All characters will be listed here for easy access and reference. This thread also contains some information, such as which dorm he lives in and who lives in his dorm suite. His homeroom assignment will also be added here.

Next, please introduce yourself in the OOC to the other players. The GMs and other characters can chat with you to make sure your character is properly placed in the setting with the correct mindset. Please note that simply posting your character somewhere just waiting for someone to meet them is not acceptable.

Lastly, take a look at the Student Handbook. This contains some useful information about the school.

Name: Takahiro "Hiro" Ahlgren
Age: 17
Position: Student
Sexual Preferences: Dominant/switch, straight (perhaps secretly bi). Is mostly a sexual blank slate, though he definitely prefers ambitious, intelligent women over bimbos. He doesn't have the experience to know what he really likes (domination, bondage, medium sized breasts, women with athletic but still hourglass figures). If given the chance he'd probably fuck the female version of himself (the male version too, though he won't admit it). Hiro is still young and willing to experiment, though.
Appearance: Slightly taller than average, Hiro's cropped hair is platinum blond. His build is toned from fencing competitively since a young age, but he's been trying to build a bit more muscle recently. Hiro's slow progress frustrates him.
Personality: Hiro is very serious. Perhaps it is from the years of fencing, but he tends to make snap judgements about people and situations. He's often right, but he can get himself into trouble as well. If Hiro has any sense of humor it is most assuredly a very dark one. Ultimately Hiro comes off as a bit of an arrogant prick. He knows he's got the talent and smarts to back himself up, but he could use a bit more diplomacy.
Purpose at Arcadia: Hiro was born in Japan to an American businessman and Japanese heiress. He spent the first few years of his life there, learning the customs and language, but moved to the East Coast of the United States when he was 10 when his father's company gained the contract rights to a number of large shipping ports along the Eastern Seaboard. Having no time or patience for children, his parents enrolled him in boarding schools as soon as possible. Perhaps this contributed to his cold demeanor. Relatively speaking, Hiro's life continued as normally as one could anticipate, except for his natural fencing talent. Recently, however, his father's business fortunes have been waining and he's been increasingly pressured to sell his holdings to aggressive Chinese buyers. Seeking out the Morimotos for an infusion of cash to keep his business afloat, his father agreed to transfer him to St. Arcadia Academy as collateral. Hiro does not, however, know of these backroom dealings. Instead, he's under the impression that his parents are transferring him to a school that can teach him some kendo to augment his already impressive fencing ability.

We're a bit full on male characters at the moment, since we just had three join the game. We do allow for players to play different genders than theirs, ie, male players playing female characters and vice versa. Since we've had such an intake in male characters, we'd like to balance the roster with more females, since St. Arcadia needs to have a healthy representation of female students.

Age: 17
Position: student
Sexual preference: dominate though he enjoys the fight for dominance if the girl is as well (like in all aspects he is willing to accept defeat) heterosexual (Some rape fantasy as he likes breaking strong wills)
Appearance: short but slightly shaggy black hair, his face is clean shaven though he has a scar over the bridge of his nose that shows white on his slight tan. His eyes are pure black and can be described as the eyes of a predator, like he was examining the weaknesses of others around them and leaving them to bare. Standing at about 5'7 his limbs are moderately thick and strong. He is skinny and his body is laced with evidence of past fights and injury's. Even though he is strong enough he relies on his speed more then his strength.
Personality: Akio is tough and while not 100% friendly, he usually enjoys company of women and men who are independent. His attitude is often considered snarky and insulting but is kind to those who show him respect or does not show fear. He is competitive but will not brag if he wins or complain if he's defeated fairly, he enjoys the challenge and loves to fight. While moderately skilled in hand to hand he will never hit a woman in any situation due to his father. He hates cowards and bully's, often daring then to do the same to him which they would do to others which is usually enough to make them back up but not always though he has no aversion to the fight. His attitude can sometimes be seen as reckless up to suicidal as he is constantly pushing the limits of what he can do.
Purpose at Arcadia: His father had debts, quite a few of them. They were never rich and didn't have the money for healthcare and were unprepared when his youngest daughter caught sick. His father tried gambling to get the money he needed and the more he lost the more reckless and angry he got. On day he refused outright to pay a debt only to have it catch up with him very quickly. Both Akio and his sister was taken to pay for the debts and now Akio has eventually found his way to Arcadia.

Hi Greenrust. Thanks very much for submitting Akio. Nile and I have reviewed him and here are our comments.

First we must have a picture and preferably several showing different facial expressions, because we use 125 x 125 pixel avatars in each post header (I will do the resizing and cropping to create the actual avatars and load them to my photobucket account). The different facial expressions are used to cover the general mood of the contents of that post, but this is a stylistic choice that has developed during the course of the game and some of our players have only a single image for their character. Having multiple images isn't essential therefore, but having one clear one of the face is.

For this reason it is often best to choose a picture first, then decide the appearance second. The scar you mention is going to be hard to locate a suitable image for. We also prefer more 'realistic' anime artwork faces, rather than people with weird coloured hair and particularly wild spiky hair. Despite the hentai setting this is supposed to be the real world.

Secondly a fully dominant male isn't a good fit for the game. We've had one player quit due to this issue so now we always make it clear from the outset that male characters will submit to dominant females in the course of the game. The school is run by two dominant sisters and there isn't any escaping their control, or that of their designated female lieutenants, so all players will need to be happy with having their characters submit at times. Students will also need to accept the authority of male teachers, but we don't have M/M sexual content in the game except when its only briefly referred to in passing. A player happy to switch is preferred. The character can be dominant but he may find himself in a situation where he is forced into a submissive scene by dominant females and our players need to be okay with that.

He is too tall for your average Japanese teen, please knock several inches off his height.

In St Arcadia uniform and dress code is a high priority, so he wouldn't be allowed to go around with a messy, dirty or scruffy uniform. By all means mention that facet of his dress style when he is in casual clothes after class and at weekends but you could probably simply introduce that aspect of him in a line or two of description in a post; it need not be a fixed facet of him set out in his character sheet.

Generally fighting of any sort is not an element of this RP, so whether he's good in playground punch-ups or knows how to use a knife is irrelevant. It might be worth scrapping such elements altogether as they'll not be needed.

We prefer not to accept characters who are 'loners', 'isolated' or 'quiet' types because players who create this kind of character often don't proactively seek out contact with other characters but wait for scenes to come to them. We consider this selfish and in a spirit of co-operation we like all characters to be moderately outgoing. Our players are not going to open scenes with your character unless you show willing to do likewise. A certain amount of outgoing personality would in fact be necessary to be selected for the school. In addition to that there seems to be a clash in his personality - he is described as being predatory yet is also a loner and isolated. To us those two conditions appear to contradict.

He may have a sword and knife collection at home but he won't be allowed to bring those with him into the school. No weapons are allowed in the game other than what a student might pick up in the normal course of classes or after school clubs and then we'd need a good justification as to why a student would feel the need to arm themselves. Sociopaths wouldn't be admitted to the school at all, they'd be far too dangerous.

We need a better blackmail background for him being selected to attend the school. It has to be a reason that if the child were a problem, or the parent was, the family would be utterly ruined. A man who is simply good at his job and gets promoted over his colleagues isn't a good enough reason unfortuately. Please bear in mind that students and their families never choose to attend the school, the head of the Morimoto family makes that choice so that the right sorts of boys and girls attend.

Your spelling could use some work. The site has a built-in spellchecker. All the players would be very grateful if you would use it.

At the moment we are sorry to say that Akio isn't acceptable and he'll need some work to get him to be the kind of student St Arcadia would feel comfortable letting onto their campus.

Edited and also about the dominate I mean he will try to gain dominance in sexual situations but if he can't he can't. I as a player don't have a problem with it and while my character may try to gain dominance he knows when he's lost and I won't make it a issue.
