Well, it probably doesn't come as a shock to all of you exalted players out there,  but I'm truly obsessed with the Alchemical Exalted. The only catch is I've never had the opportunity to play one.  Now, I was hoping that someone out there would be willing to help me remedy the situation.  I would enjoy playing in a multi-player game if possible,  but if its not then a one on one game would more then definitely suffice.  Now, I guess the real question I need to answer is what am I looking for in a game?
That’s fairly simple,  I'm hoping to play one of the Soul Steal Caste of the Alchemicals.  That doesn't say much I know,  but I picture him as essentially a super intelligent animal.  His first and only purpose is simple,  the protection of Autochton.  Now, what I'd really enjoy is to have another player take up the mantle of one of the Orichalcum caste.  The character would preferable be female,  and act as a voice of the sleeping god to the character.  Suffice to say,  it could probably shape up to be a twisted co-dependent relationship between the two of them.  Beyond that,  I'm pretty much up for anything that a storyteller throws at me.
If this does turn into a multi-player game I would mind if there were other types of Exalted involved as long as the story teller found a way to integrate them into beyond the fact that they were "Just there."  So if anyone is interested in this get in contact with me.

I'd be interested in playing a Jade-Caste in such a game, acting as the 'normal' among the group, keeping them from scaring the hell out of mortals TOO much.

I'd be intrested in playing, if only to learn the system.

I enkoyed Exalted a lot, playing in a Solar campaign and running both on- and offline Abyssal ones. The Alchemicals strike me as a hard enough game to play. What sort of game are you thinking? Running the Locust Crusade in reverse?

That would probably be extremely fitting,  but the Locus crusade itself could be suitable to the concept.

Either of those could be quite awesome- The idea of defending your steampunk city from invading forces, who while somewhat less advanced, are distinctly more numerous... Heh. The question, of course, is why is it reasonable for the Alchemicals to be invaded by the DBs- Might be that the plague wipes through, does a lot of damage but not as much as it did in that particular scenario in Exalted.

The plague could work.  I don't know much about the Dragonblooded, but perhaps they catch wind of the fact that the entire plane is essentially a slumbering primordial and get it into their heads to destroy it.  Of course, that might sound more along the lines of a Solar type mission then anything else.

I had a crazy, bad, but somehow entrancing idea for a game- Taking the characters from the Discworld Watch series. Vimes the extremely serious, high-Clarity yet sometimes compassionate Soulsteel, armed with the finest Crossbow. Carrot, the new recruit who revitalized the company, an Orichalcum Caste with charisma that you usually find among the greatest of kings. Angua, a somewhat reluctant Moonsilver caste who finds herself oddly attracted to Carrot, and uncomfortable, with the somewhat odd animal tendencies she has. Cheery, a Starmetal chemist who's unusually intelligent, and based heavily off of the Mountain Folk of lore, right down to the sometimes confusing beard. And Colin, the big, cheerful Jade-Caste who does what he can, when he can, where he can, and tries to make sure that's relatively little.

It would be a very silly game, but it could be a lot of fun...

I'm looking for a game that would be a bit more serious then that.  It sounds amusing,  but its just not what I'm looking for currently

To be fair, it could be played quite seriously- A small group of Alchemicals trying to keep order as things go to peaces, facing mad gremlins, distant alien invaders, and incompetence in the upper ranks.

You know,  I think I'd be willing to give it a try.  I wouldn't mind comedic elements as long as they don't become the central point of the game.  I’d like it to retain the gritty sort of cyberpunk feel that I get from the game.  If we can keep that element,  and add in a few scenes of humor I’d be happy.

All of the Terry Pratchett watch books are great examples of these. The motivations of many of the people are inherently ridiculous, but when you look at it, you realize that they're no more ridiculous than our own motivations. And there's some dark, dark stuff in some of the mysteries the Watch has faced.

Probably my favorite example is in Jingo when Vimes' personal Dis-Organizer gets misplaced in time and space, replaced with one connected to another dimension. " 3:10, Fight desperate holding action against Klatchian invaders. 3:15, watch Corporal Angua get shot. 3:17, see Cheery Littlebottom get killed. 3:20, Die."

Haven't read very much Terry Pratchet.  I think I'll put it on my list of things to read,  I think I can get down with the concept though.  To be truthful enough,  clarity would probably have that sort of spin anyway.
