Also, another victory, aided by an awesome RP partner, I have broken through a bit of brain blockage!!!

Now if only I could break through the brain blockage on the story I'm writing all on my own...*searches around for a sledgehammer*

Step away from that sledgehammer - slowly ;)

Do you have a deadline for that story? If not, perhaps putting it away for a few days would help you see it with new eyes and maybe a new direction.

No, no deadline.  Just a goal I'd given myself to keep writing after NaNo.  And because I really want to get these characters out of my head.  Been blocked for weeks.  I've had the characters in my head for more than a year.

Perhaps they don't want to go where you're taking them. Characters can be damn bossy sods. Give them a bit of distance, and perhaps when you have a look at them again, they'll tell you what to do next ;)

I got back into writing after being in a lull in life and creation for well over a year.  Thanks to someone special!  This person also knows allot about my life and for some reason.. still has heart enough to care.  Love ya doll!

I got all my hair onto rollers!

(It should be noted that though I am 27 years old I have never curled my own hair on rollers.  Only ever just barely won fights with the curling iron.)

the curls worked!

Also:  I did it!  I freaking DID IT!  I got up on stage and sang a solo.  Only one standing on the stage for this one.  And not only did I sing, but I did the little bit of dance that went with my song.  And I didn't start the song of shy and shaky like I have every time in practice. And you know what?  It felt gooooooooooood!
