Going to Europe!

This is going to be my first time Backpacking overseas and I can't wait! I'm flying into London on October 1st and returning home on the 11th of the same month. I think I have everything together (such as a power adapter/converter for when I need to recharge my camera battery!) But... does anyone have any suggestions on what to bring? What to do? What to see? As I stated I'll be flying into London, then we plan on heading up into Scotland and make our way into Shannon, Ireland where our flight home will be. We're not afraid of making detours, and mostly have interests in the lay-lines and curious little sights like the fairy mounds. We aren't, however, going to Stonehenge this time. Maybe next year. ;D

My best memory from my trip to London, is of the Tower of London. I absolutely recommend the Yeoman Warder tours.
