Is it just me or has it been Earth day for rather a long time?

Not that I mind, mind you, I think Earth Day should be more than an annual thing and all, but I wasn't aware it had been made so already ;)

I'm pretty sure it gives a week-long notice.

Besides, only about a hundred people visit this place daily.  Some people may only get one chance!

But wouldn't they have a specific day to celebrate the Earth Day year? An Earth Day Year Day, if you will? I'm sure it all gets terribly confusing after that ;)

No...that would be Earth Day Day.....
Earth Day Year would be for 365 days.....

We could cut our losses and have Earth Day Month, though how long that ran would depend upon the month, unless we would celebrate it for a standardised 31 day month, which may confuse people.

Or just have an Earth Day week, but then we would have to decide which day the week strats on as some run Monday to Sunday and others state that the week Ends on Saturday and begins on a Sunday.

What I am concerned about is what happens to the earth AFTER that 'day'?
