Olympia Baths 2.0 - A M/M group game

A group of M/M roleplayers and I used to have this game going about three or so years ago.  It didn't get far, but I wanted to see if anyone would be willing to come and play it if it were to be revived.

I don't intend this to be a game with constant characters, but instead, I hope to make it a place where characters come and go.  For instance, one writer could play multiple characters having experiences with other characters in the baths many facilities.  The only constant in the game is the general theme which has already been established which is a Roman-style bath house whose clientele is male only.  Female writers are most welcome, but all characters must be male or male expressing (probably not the right word, but they must look male).  Feminine aspects are fine.  Long hair, slender physiques, feminine dress is all fine if you want that in the scene with whom you're roleplaying with, but since it is a men's bathhouse, all clients should at least appear to be men.  If this is unclear, PM me and I can try to explain it better.  What I'm trying to do is be as welcoming as I can with the premise of a men's club.  Once your characters are behind closed doors, feel free to take liberties with your scenes.  It's your character, and writers can communicate their expectations.  So, have fun!

Back to the original idea of that paragraph.  The bathhouse is meant to be a place of respite and privacy.  It is member's only.  That just means you make a profile for a character and I can add it to the roster I will make.  There is no defining story, but there are rumors that the bathhouse has a reputation of being a place of vice, mostly the physical kind.  It is not unheard of to have wealthy business men visiting with their own private escorts.  The bathhouse is privately owned and operated.  It is completely autonomous from other organizations which means it creates and enforces the law within its own walls.  The utmost priority is to keep their clientele happy which means guests of members are at the mercy of the man who brought them there.

This will be in the extreme section, so you are only limited to the offs of the writer you are working with.  Below is the opening post I used for the lobby.  It describes very well the feel of the bathhouse.  So far, the bathhouse has an open communal bath, private rooms for massage or other activities, a workout area, a locker room with showers, private baths, and a dungeon.

If anyone would be interested in this kind of game, let me know here.  There really isn't a posting speed, and I'd like not to enforce a schedule.  It's sort of going to be laid back, but we'll see who is interested and how it goes.

The room was expansive and bright with tall, deep windows carved into the smooth, handcrafted marble.  Just inside the front door stood a mammoth statue near twenty feet in height of the Greek goddess Peitho who is draped in a long toga with an arm outstretched in an elegant and beckoning fashion.  Light from the midday sun flowed in through the plethora of skylights above to bath her in luminescent glory, but she was not the only figure to grace the rather decadent entrance hall.

Venturing past her gracious figure, one would find a black and white checkered floor made of the same hand chiseled marble.  To both the left and right were a pair of semicircular alcoves with windows carved into the curvature of the wall which allowed more light to flow in and illuminate the two statues who observed each who entered.  On the left was Eros, holding a magnificent harp.  His head was adorned with a laurel wreath while his body was left bare for all to witness in awe, and just as Peitho's arm was outstretched to beckon all inside, Eros' own arm reached out and downward as if to beckon those who entered to join him in his carnal ventures.

To the right, in his own alcove was Dionysus.  His head was also wrapped in a similar laurel wreath, but his arm was not outstretched.  Instead, his right arm curled up with his hand grasping at the neck of an intricately carved and decorated urn which rested upon his shoulder with its imaginary contents flowing out to fill the glasses of all and any who dared enter into the festivities further inside.  His left arm was bent down with his hand resting on one hip to hold a toga which had apparently fallen loose, exposing him to all who viewed.

At the far wall was the last of the once powerful figures.  Standing a little taller than the others was Priapus with his signature erection, standing long, thick, and proud out and upward from his body.  Behind him was a smooth, white semicircular alcove which he stood just in, and water flowed down its sunlit surface in ripples and waves, giving the entire chamber a rather calming ambiance as the sound echoed softly.  His head remained unadorned, showing his slightly curly locks which hung down to just above his shoulder.  His face was bearded, and his eyes looked down into the chamber in just the right way so that anyone inside, no matter where they were standing, might feel his seductive gaze.  His body was also unadorned so that all may view his virile glory without obstruction.

At the foot of the statue sat a rather large and ornately carved desk.  Columns were carved into its front to mimic the columns lining the edges of the large lobby which looked to be of the elegant Ionic order.  The desks surface shined in the light as the lone figure behind it stood, shuffling papers and and organizing appointments.  He was the receptionist, operator, or concierge.  The man went by many titles, but his job remained the same.  He'd been running the Olympia Baths for years now, and inside, he was the grand marshal.  He made the rules, and had enforced them on more than one occasion.  He was the sole person who gave access to what was behind the rather large doors which stood to frame the desk on either side.  Those who had been patrons for years knew him as Eduardo, but those who were new or infrequent customers only called him 'Sir.'

He was nearly always busy even if it did not seem so, and he only looked up when someone approached the desk.  Eyes which shimmered in the light much like the glimmering pools deep in the Baths looked up to stare at the next customer to enter.

You could make a long-term commitment out of it.  That's the idea behind the game.  You can make it as long or short as you want.

Yes, this will happen.  I just haven't gotten around to setting it up because of my schedule.  I literally have 1 day a week where I have no obligations, and every other day, I'm out of the house for at least 10 hours a day minimum.  As Gothic said, communicate with your partners.  This will be in the Extreme section to allow for maximum flexibility.  Just be aware of that.

No.  I intend this game to be oriented around a more casual style.  Most scenes involving smut and sex will happen in private rooms anyway with the option of more group oriented interaction in the larger forum and group bath areas.  If you are worried about posting speed, perhaps you could start a scene with just one person, and multiple characters are allowed, so if you tend to be slow, the other party can create another character to interact with other characters.

As a general guideline, I would like a picture/photograph, general physical description, name, age, occupation, status with the bathhouse (Member or guest.  This is mainly for those wishing to enter the game with established connections or allegiances.  Just a note, however, that the bath house is very exclusive, so if they are a member, they would have to have a good reason to be able to join.  Most  of the members just have enough money to be able to pay the membership fee.  Others can be gifted memberships.  All guests must be accompanied by the member inviting them), Perhaps a little about their personality, sexual preference (yes, they can even be straight because that could end up making some interesting situations), hard limits (you don't have to put your entire o/o, but make sure to list what you are absolutely not willing to do), and an 'other' heading for anything extra you think is pertinent to your character.

Remember, all characters must be male, and no illustrations allowed for character submissions.  *eyes Saerra*  I like illustrations, but I think that it should be one or the other, real images or illustrations.  Since this is based in a 'real world' setting, I have opted for images of real people. *winks* ^-^

Hmm, yes, they could be employees.  The lobby already has a set NPC, so if you'd like your character to be an employee elsewhere, that would be fine.  The employees are under strict policy to keep the interior workings and happenings secret, so please be aware of that when you play him.  The company running it has enough resources to ruin his life should he decide to step out of line gravely, but other than that, go ahead.

The second one is also a noble of very high standings, regularly picking those of lower blood and perhaps various desperate political needs to abuse and coarse into sexual acts while he watches from the side (strictly a watcher, maybe until he picks the wrong man and gets into trouble :) )

Status: Member... Now.

History: Trent was a sixteen year old street-kid when he met his master/sugar daddy, a much older and independently wealthy man named Isaac Severin. When he was short of money and desperate he would visit his 'daddy' and spend some time indulging Isaac's extreme tastes in bondage and kink. Eventually one day after he visited he just didn't leave and moved in, beginning a very strange relationship.

Within the house Isaac was the master and Trent his slave, but in addition to making him his boytoy, Isaac also signed Trent up to college and enforced good grades with his standard variety of discipline. The envelope contained papers for a lifetime membership to the bathhouse and a letter. The letter was deeply personal, but amongst its contents was a last request from his 'daddy'. He was to go back to the bathhouse, now as a member and decide for himself whether he wanted to remain a slave or become his own master and possibly the master of someone else.

So he returns to Olympia, determined to try being dominant for once. The only question is whether he can manage it after five years serving, particularly in a place where everyone remembers him in chains.

Truth is, he was never on good terms with his father, and wasn't introduced into the family's business empire; currently he's waiting for the old man to croak, so he would be able to take over. Which means, at the meantime, he has a lot of time to spend, and he gets bored quite easily.

What he usually does at the Bathhouse is finding those that are in need of his help, those who would like to join in as guests for a day, and have them preform sexual acts for his amusement, sometimes simple (yet always racy), but he's also a huge fan of degradation. It's not uncommon to see him blackmailing some staff member, who he has caught breaking a rule, coercing him into one of his sexual escapades. He loves the mind play, he loves the power play, and he loves stripping people out of any choices the modern society would normally allow them, seeing that helpless expression on their faces- that's enough to get him into a climax.

   That was part of why I included the info - so people could check for themselves that everything is above board.

   While his character on the show Shameless is gay, he is not the usual gay character. And they're good (as you can see) about showing him having sex just as they show the other adults having sex. I've only seen some of the show since our subscription to Showtime has been sporadic.
