Locations of Search Provider Information in Browsers

That was a mouthful.  Anyways, I figured I could ask here and hope some knowledgeable man/woman could answer this rather than be running around begging on the different forums.  The question is: Where can I find the file for each browser that holds the currently selected search providers?

I'm looking into:
Google Chrome ver. 2.0
Opera ver. 9.64
Safari ver 4.0 (not necessary but would be nice to know)
