You've done it. You've reached the top of the heap, best of the best. You're a member of the Hidden Eyes Thieves Guild of Icifleur, a guild that most people don't even know exist.

While your life there has hardly been quiet, something very exciting has come up- the chance of a lifetime! A bounty beyond any you've ever seen. 100,000,000 gold pieces for the capture of Damien Nightstrider, a thief who seems to be more myth than man.

Agents have been to your guild to make the offer. The full bounty on capture, and an initial 1,000,000 bonus to those who sign on to an exclusive contract to hunt him. The Guildmistress has up until now rebuffed these agents, forbidding you to join the hunt, but something seems to have changed her mind. A hunting party is being formed. Will you be one of them?

-----------------------

This is a restart of a previous game. We already have our own forum to use for this. The starting world is a Homebrew, but most of the action will take place on the Planes. We are using the Pathfinder system for this, which I think will be far less complicated for building characters. Official books and approved add-ons and workarounds will be used. Myrlenna is co-GMing for me this time.

Character Creation

16th Level
32 Point Buy
Standard Gold, +1 million for optional signed contract
Monster Characters are welcome, we are using the optional rule of gaining an extra class level as you progress equal to 1/2 CR rounded down.
Alignments: Lawful or Good axis not suggested. The Guild itself is NE to CE to CN.
3/4 HPs on level up.
2 Traits from different categories
Cohorts allowed, 25 PB, normal gold for their level, make them interesting.

Sheets should be on Mythweavers or similar service, or send me a copy.

I reserve the right to nix anything that's significantly outside the accepted power bounds. On the other hand, I may be flexible about bringing new things in that fit the power curve.

My Expectations

This is hopefully going to be a long campaign, so give good thought to your characters and background. I'm going to use the BG2 system of logical encounters rather than matching the team level to monster threat. Keep your eyes open and don't bite off more than you can chew...or prepare to roll up a new sheet  >:)

Let me know how often you can post. 1/day(or more) would be good, but I know how life can be.

READABLE POSTS. If your posts are difficult to read or have typos, it's tough on the rest of us. I'll edit posts if I have to make it so, but I'd rather not have that problem.

A newbie to pathfinder is probably not suggested to join this I take it. Oh well, can I ask what this RP will involve? I might watch and learn at least.

Help is available for character generation.

New to Pathfinder isn't automatically bad, provided some experience in general RPs and bonus for d20 knowledge.

Yeah, I know d20 and such, played 3.5, just not high/epic levels.

Keelan

Hm... I might be interested, possibly.  Thing is, I'm not too good at playing characters ONLY motivated by money so some alternate driving force would be there (on a related note, how are god/dess' tied into this game, and how would one seek to become one?  We will be epic tier after all ^_^), and while I'm not really good with Evil axis characters, the one I find myself most able to play is Lawful Evil... beyond that, more information about the world and guild and whatnot would be nice for my char-gen process.

Also, regarding sexual elements of this game, how would that work, what should we be prepared for, and in general how sexual will the game be?  Mind you I only do F/F or F/Futas, with some exception for things like tentacle monsters, sexual oozes, and the like.

Ideas to come to mind were a pre-existing half-drow (basically half-elf with Darkvision instead) Barbarian I can modify (I hope; she originally was CG >.>), a half-orc Monk or Ranger, or possibly a half-drow Alchemist or Cleric even, depending.

Myrleena

Okay, calling me the co-GM might be misleading, but...I know some of the stuff that'll be going on.  I'm primarily going to be helping with rules and such, as I've run a tabletop epic campaign for the better part of two years before.  And I know Pathfinder far better than Mystic does.

Now, for the record, you do not have to be evil to be inside the guild.  Yes, it helps to some degree, but the main thing is that you can get along with others.  I know that at least one good character is going to be in the guild.  I know another is going to be Lawful Evil (mine).  But the big thing is that you can get along without killing one another.  This means that the only character that really doesn't have a place is a Paladin, honestly.  There's a good bit of story going on in the background, and one doesn't have to be after the reward to be intrigued by the quest, honestly.  It might simply be curiosity for what he did to get such attention, for all I know.

Anyway, as for sexuality...that will depend.  Last time around the game got rather bogged down by it.  Our preference, if it happens, is for it to happen in a thread that isn't the main storyline, and let the story progress without having to wait for the scene to finish.

Thorn14

I hear you, too much sex can bogg down, but I still would like some sexual elements.

I think i'm going to make a good character, but not a crazy good paladin type, one who will not mind working with evil characters.

Might make a nice contrast.

Mystic Dragon

I gave the warning about alignment because we had problems in the last game with it. Lawful is VERY difficult to play given the starting framework. It doesn't mean it can't be done, but it can easily be done badly. Good is going to have trouble for similar reasons.

Regarding sexual content, I prefer to have it be natural and I won't offer too much in that regard. For a variety of reasons, Myrlenna's previous character got turned into a bit of a pinata in that regard. Found herself neck deep and then over her head rather quickly :P
"Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici"
"In our world, all the Redheads have chainsaws"
"Nightmares never last. One day you wake up and they're gone"

Myrleena

Yes, which is why my previous character is being turned into more of an NPC...I honestly don't think that this time around the game will have nearly enough impact to equal what came before.  No aspirations on other players, the other time was just...impressive.  Which is why I'm going for a different character.

Eshva

Hiya

I'm interested in this, and have a character in mind already, I'm thinking an assasin type person with a few unusual twists.

some questions:

does standard gold mean starting gold for lvl 16 characters, or starting gold per class at lvl 1.

+ 1 million? does that mean that if we've signed a contract to capture this elusive Mr. Nightstrider we start with an additional million gold to buy stuff for?

if I have a cohort or similar, do I play it or does the DM/Co-DM.

Callie Del Noire

Yeah I was wondering on that while working on my NE Teifling mage (she specializes in cursed items and constructs).

Clarity on that would allow me to make up some goodies, and  also on how much she'd pay for her own items.

Myrleena

Okay, only a couple of things from me.  I don't feel that I can comment on a couple of the questions just yet, so...bear with me when I choose not to comment on them.

Standard Gold for 16th level.  That is 315,000 gold pieces.  Last I heard, Mystic was trying to decide what percentage of it could be used for 'self-crafting' and thus getting a discount on items.  It won't be more than 1/3 at best, though.

The 1 million is if you sign the contract.  If you do, you will not have had time to craft with it at all.  You'll have had time to buy equipment with it, but nowhere near the amount of time to craft items yourself (unless it took only a few days, but that's up to Mystic).

I don't feel I should comment on the cohorts actually, so I'm waiting on Mystic for such.

*fades out for the moment*

Callie Del Noire

Still that clears up a lot of stuff. :D

Of course Herolab has no staff of power in it so the BIG money ones aren't going to get done yet. :D

Eshva

Hiya

On second thought. creating a lvl 16 character is a bit much for me at this point in time, and I think what I am looking for is a something a bit more down to earth.

Sorry for rushing in and out, hope you all have a fun game.

Mystic Dragon

I'm still debating percentage of crafted items. Regarding cohorts, ideally, you'll play them. If you abuse them in one way or another, I may take control now and then for some logical "reactions" to previous actions.

I think my esteemed partner in crime answered the other questions so far?

Go ahead and post characters here in thread. A sheet link will be better, but if you don't have it set up that way, basic build + important details.

Regarding the question of godhood, it may come up during the story, but only as an ending or if we go a long way without a conclusion.

Description:
Caliphia is a dark elf of the old blood, and among her people she is of the purest bloodlines of her people.  With pure ebony skin that looks almost like obsidian and long, pitch black hair that falls to her knees, she looks somewhat unusual amongst them, however.  The drow has a lush figure unusual amongst dark elves, with good sized breasts and generous curves set off by wide hips and a tiny waist.  Her eyes are a brilliant azure that seems to slightly glow at night, and the woman often appears overly stern.  Much of the time she wears little, primarily keeping her serpentine adamantine sword belt with a masterfully crafted longsword and quiver at her hip. Her armor amounts to a thin, fine mesh of black steel that reveals more than it covers.  Thin lines of blood-red rings cross the armor in a web-like pattern, similar to her ebon cloak that she often wears as well.  She generally wears a pair of black leather and mithril sandals, and she keeps a pair of simple mithril rings that she nearly constantly wears.  When traveling she wears a supple leather backpack that's hidden under her cloak, and in battle she pulls out a fine black oak composite longbow which she wields with gleaming eyes.

Caliphia's personality is quite odd for her race.  Unlike many of her people, she is somewhat honorable, though her view of honor is a bit different from what some would consider such.  She is a woman of her word, though she rarely give such.  The drow is extremely exacting about her debts, when she has them, and she seems to believe that she has duties that she can't set aside.  She keeps slaves and even captures them, but she's extremely fair about treating them well, save when they attempt to escape or disobey her.  The drow doesn't hate elves, even though she has trained against them, no, she actually prefers elves as slaves.  Also a bounty hunter, the woman is extremely cautious about what she's willing to do for others, and she rarely signs contracts after being burned by such a time too many.

History:
Caliphia La'tear is the lost scion of the La'tear family, and is more than happy to remain lost.  She's certain that her younger sister is more than happy to run the family, and the drow is far happier not having to deal with the fractious lot that is a drow clan.  The degree of chaos that a drow clan causes offends her sense of order, and as such Caliphia decided at long last to leave and has found that the outside world is far more interesting.

The drow cares little for her time growing up in a drow city and rarely explains it, as any such city is much the same as any other.  She did kill a number of rivals during her time in the city, and more than once she mused that if she had stayed, she likely would have ended up as an assassin.  But she didn't stay in the city, and roamed far and wide before reaching the surface.  Once on the surface the drow hid and slowly figured out where she could fit into such a society.  This was how she ended up as a bounty hunter who specialized in returning opponents alive.  Her own lusts and desires led to her taking her first elven slave not long after.  A few times she has taken slaves whom she's sold, but for the most part she's taken them for...personal use.

There was little of real note about her life in particular, though she became known for tracking down a number of elven criminals of some distinction.  She joined the Hidden Eyes guild primarily because she felt she needed to belong to something.  The drow has an underground mansion where she keeps much of her slaves in a good deal of comfort.  But now that the call to hunt for Damien Nightstrider has gone out, the drow has found herself intrigued.  While tempting, she's learned long since that most contracts are traps for the unfortunate bounty hunter foolish enough to sign them, and as such she refuses to sign it.  But the reward for Nightstrider...she has decided to pursue it for now, at least.  If only because she's curious what he possibly could have done to gain such a bounty on his head.

Callie Del Noire

Hmm.. waffling now between a NE mage or a LE Hobgoblin Fighter.. (A contract is a contract is a contract) :D

Myrleena

Okies, posting some additional information that should help with character creation.

Religion

First and foremost, we will be using the Pathfinder Campaign Setting deities.  The deities are fairly universal, however, you may be able to convince Mystic or me to allow you to follow a 'little known' deity, like one from Forgotten Realms or such.

Recent Events

For the last decade, the Proteans have been attempting to assault Axis, the plane of Law.  The resulting storms of colliding chaos and law have destabilized planar travel.  While summoning spells work normally, teleportation beyond about 100 miles is dangerous, and interplanar travel has a good chance of getting one killed.  As such, finding a way to cross the planes to chase Damien is likely to be the first order of business.  In other words, interplanar travel has less than a 10% chance of taking you to your destination, and approximately a 50% of 'scrambling' as your body isn't put together properly on the other side.  As teleportation utilizes bouncing through the Astral Plane, traveling more than 100 miles has the danger of the same risks as interplanar travel.  Needless to say, land, sea, and air travel have been experiencing a boom of late.

Icifleur is a remote port city on a tributary that flows into the Eastern Ocean, but it is profitable, as a major trading port between the lands across the sea, the elven nations to the north and the Empire to the south.  But rumors of danger come from the North of Icifleur.  The elven nations of the vast Dawnwood are under assault.  They and the dwarven clans of the Silverpeaks, which shield the heartlands from the Northern Wastes, are under assault by an army of hobgoblins and giants.  Rumors speak of dragons commanding the opposing armies, but as of yet they have been unable to bypass the defending armies.  For the last year the three sides have been locked in a stalemate, but the slow winnowing of the ranks of the dwarves and elves is worrying, as they cannot replace their numbers as easily as the goblinoids can.  Such is a remote danger to Icifleur, but one that is at least a few years distant.

To the south and west is the decadent Empire of Kaliphas, an empire in decline.  While it was once a major power, the Empire is slowly collapsing in spite of its many legions and armies.  Many cities, including Icifleur, have effectively seceded from the Empire over the last century, and the Empire has been unable to stop it.  The current emperor is a spineless idiot controlled by the corrupt Council of Advisors, each of whom attempts to gain more power, even as they don't realize how little control they truly have.  The only true power remaining in the Empire is in the hands of several military governors, a fractious lot who could easily split the Empire into competing nation/states.

Gah, forgot to mention.  I technically have a second character who is part of the guild leadership of sorts.  Her name is Xulauniir, an elven sorceress who is very, very old.  For an elf, anyway.  She's something of an enchanter herself, and focuses on summoning to a great degree.

Now, on to a comment for Callie...

CR is completely wrong, if it even applied to PCs (it doesn't).  The NPCs who have a CR equal to Level -1 do so because they have levels of a heroic class, heroic attributes, and have less equipment than a PC.  With our attributes, if a CR were to be applied to our characters it would likely be +1.  Or +3, with the million gold.  Just a bit of info there.  Otherwise, everything looks fine to me thus far.

Herolab does that automatically. (haven't figured out what sets it up to do it yet)  and I was thinking she was  the person who makes custom cursed items and/or constructs.. and I could see her as someone who is 'commissioned' as well. :D

...wait, Callie's gal is a Wizard, right?  She should have a HELL of a lot more spells... she gets 2 spells each level after 1st, and 2 at first... not to mention the 4+Int 0 level spells she starts with...

Another 'bug' is that the spellbook isn't show on the character sheet.  And I haven't posted the version with all the spells picked out yet anyway.. still looking through my mix.

Spent a goodly amount of coin buying spells too.

Ah, okay.  Just making sure you weren't accidentally shorting yourself on spells ^_^

Myrleena

Oh, I figured that it was only showing the spells prepared.  'tis why I write out all my character sheets in Notepad, in BBCode so I can just copy/paste them in the forums and have them look right.

Callie Del Noire

Actually at this point only her SPECIALIST bonus spells are listed.  :D

Myrleena

Ah, wasn't looking at it that closely.  I glanced over it, and the numbers looked right.  And none of the feats looked like they were from 3p content, so...

Also, as a correction, a Wizard starts with 3+Int Mod 1st level spells and all Core 0 level spells in their spellbook, as well as 2 additional spells at each level up.

How do you want to do the additional spells (I always wound up collecting spells as I leveled up)

Myrleena

Callie Del Noire

When you level up you always wind up with loot like scrolls and spell books that the enemy no longer needed.. to do it for a charcter @ higher levels starting out you either buy up spells or simply work with the GM to get them. I'm not sure how to do it but I suspect a BIG chunk of my 1 million signing bonus will be going into her spell book.

Myrleena

Use page 219 of the Core Rulebook for gaining any spells beyond those you gain for free as you level.  Essentially, you pay half of the cost to scribe it into the book as a fee for the privilege of copying it, then the cost to copy it into your book.

Why thank you. you've made it greatly cheaper. You didn't comment on her role as construct buider as a reason for working for the guild?

Myrleena

Not my problem, actually.  I'm the co-GM mostly for helping with the mechanics and harassing information out of Mystic and then posting it up so people have stuff to work with. >.>

Callie Del Noire

Myrleena

Yes, yes there are.  I've had the PDF of the Bestiary 2 since it came out, and got the hardcopy of it on Saturday as a late Christmas present from one of my players.  They encountered a magma dragon the same session.  But don't be surprised if we deny you some of the more unique ones.  Remember, you can't use ANY of the 1 million on crafting, unless Mystic gives the okay.  I can't imagine more than a week or two have passed since the job offer went out.

Callie Del Noire

Well I figure most of her work belongs to the guild. Haven't considered what she'd make for herself.

Myrleena

*shrugs* I don't know what would be made for the guild either, but remember...Thieves Guild, not Army!

Callie Del Noire

True but a few cursed items and the iron cobras would be in fitting. And acting as a freelancer she might do constructs for others.

Myrleena

*nods* I just wanted to point it out before people got too enthusiastic.  Few people know that the guild exists, remember.  Also, since it hasn't been stated yet: Icifleur has been something of a boom town of late.  In fact, it's a major trading point for magic items (which is why you can buy whatever you want) but it doesn't have the resources to sustain itself alone.  It relies on trade, and is rather top-heavy.  Don't be surprised if the economy suddenly implodes at some point, due to being too top-heavy.

Callie Del Noire

Understood. I figure most of her 'commissions' come in from her ability to make constructs and other things and the guild refers 'special' clients for cursed items.  Hey, it's money. : -D

Mystic Dragon

Be careful with becoming a crafter. Big advantages to start, big drawbacks when it comes to making items on the fly. For instance, where are you getting your refined mithril, big diamonds and other high-cost components? Forging your own blades, arrows, etc? That's even before we see crafting times of 80 days or more.
"Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici"

"Nightmares never last. One day you wake up and they're gone"

Callie Del Noire

Which is why I moved to those skills to make the stuff and minimized the crafting feats and added a LOT of metamagics (and might do more as tweak things out a bit more)

Thundering and Lingering metamagic is fun for crowd control.

Callie Del Noire

89750 g for spells. woof.

Why is no one taking the million? (curious)

Myrleena

In my case, because it doesn't make sense for my character, and on the other hand...why in the hells would I trust ANYONE who's offering a contract with that much up front?  It has to be a setup.

Callie Del Noire

I'm split between greed and the same. :D Of course given what my character LOOKS like..she's usually hiding behind a disguise.

Myrleena

*shrugs* So's my character, but...she just isn't the type to do it.  She'll go after him, mind, but she doesn't like the idea of being forced if she takes the initial payment.  She's been burned by that a few times.

Oh, the old game always looked interesting to me.  And I like experimenting with epic things, even though I'm usually to direct to understand the centuries of devious planning that the real immortal epic things have already woven around me.

I was thinking of a Red Wizard with a Thayan Knight cohort, unless we need some non-arcanists just to mix things up?

And how does the monstrous character thing work?  I don't really understand "gaining an extra class level as you progress equal to 1/2 CR rounded down."  Would it not be CR + class level = 16?
Ons and Offs
Discord chloe milev
FFXIV Sargatanas

Callie Del Noire

IF I understand it right.. (Using an Erinyes as an example, CR 8) it would be a CR 8/2 = 4 + 12 class levels = 16.

Myrleena

A bit on the plot first: If you look through the original game you'll see some hints of what was going on, though I don't recommend doing so so you can be somewhat surprised by things.  However, the plotline has changed somewhat.  I literally cannot say more than that, as I didn't know much about the original plot, and know almost nothing of the new one.

Now, as for the monstrous character bits...it's a suggested optional rule from the back of the Bestiary.  The rule is not always balanced, so we may choose to reject some attempts with some of the choice possibilities.  The lower the CR of the creature, the more likely it is to work properly.  That said, I'm going to try to go through it below.

Taking an Erinyes as an example: An Erinyes is CR 8, and thus would count as an 8th level character to start.  Once the party has gained 3 levels, the erinyes gets an additional level for free, which doesn't count against her level.  This level is gained midway between 10th and 11th level.  So she would, for example, be an Erinyes (8) Ranger (4) at 11th level.  You can gain a number of extra levels this way equal to half the monster's CR, rounded down.  So a Succubus could gain a maximum of 3 levels extra (7/2=3.5 or 3).  But said Erinyes would gain her 2nd free level between 13 and 14, making her an Erinyes (8) Ranger (8) even though the ranger counts as Ranger 6.  We simplify this by pretending that the Erinyes CR dropped.  Now, as her next free level would come at level 16.5, just before 17th level, she hasn't gained the full benefits of this rule yet.  The last free level would be gained at 19.5.

This means that the most levels the Erinyes could have at game start would be 10 levels of whichever class she chooses, looking like this: Erinyes (6) Ranger (10).  Mind, the monster still retains all monster hit dice and gains feats based on the total hit dice, so she'd technically have 19 hit dice between Racial and Class Hit dice, and feats as appropriate for such.

Callie Del Noire

Thanks for the clarification on my part (of course the other example I was looking at was a pit fiend and it was clear from him that the higher up you go..the more broke it is. :-D )

Myrleena

Pretty much, yeah.  In fact, my personal opinion (which Mystic may overrule) is that any attempt to try a monster with a CR higher than 8 will be outright rejected.  On the other hand, I'm certain that some that are below that number are broken, which is why it's just a recommended optional guestimation, not an actual rule.  And why we're willing to boot any that look too potent.

Myrleena

I've updated the info in the OOC Thread again...seems that the Hidden Eyes guild has only been around for about 7 years. >.>

Zaer Darkwail

Hey, is there spot left for this game? I was in the original one as crusader/cleric who owned inter-planar ship.

Myrleena

So everyone is aware, we're still looking for players...look to have about 4 players for the actual hunt group ATM.

GM Person? Is an Investigator Rogue okay? It sounds fun, and thematic.

I'm coming up with items now. Also, is a glamored +5 Mithril Chainshirt okay? or should I just copy Myrleena and get the celestial armor too?

Callie Del Noire

Can't have too many folks like Myrleeena in my opinion. :D

Myrleena

I mostly got the Celestial Armor because it has the highest Max Dex bonus I could find with a decent armor bonus.  But as soon as my Dex is raised by 5 points, it'll be pretty much worthless...have to switch to Bracers of Armor +8.

Chloe Milev

It is unfortunately in the Dragon Magazine Compendium, but there is Silk Armor:  5000 gp, +3 armor, max +8 Dex, -1 penalty, 5% failure, 15 lbs, enchanting it takes half time, and even non-masterwork armor can be enchanted.  Enchant that with Nimbleness (+1 ability, max Dex +1, penalty -2), which is also, unfortunately, in the Magic Item Compendium, not Pathfinder.  Ah well.
Ons and Offs
Discord chloe milev

Zaer Darkwail

I do wonder about enchantments, as few of those enchants and weapon augmenting crystals could be very handy even in Pathfinder. Also some items which are decent priced and have unique functions (arcane scoundrel lockpicks which allow bonus to disable device with return of sacrificing spell slot). Not to mention runestaffs for sorcerers.

Myrleena

Problem is that many of those items are clearly better than anything else that's in the same price range.  Take for example the Heartseeker Amulet from the Magic Item Compendium.  3000 gp, swift action to activate.  3/day, you may activate it and your next melee attack is made as a touch attack.  Considering that it's made from the True Strike spell, it should be based off of the Quickened level...meaning that it should be closer to 50,000 gp, at least.  Don't remember the exact calculation, but I've done it before.

Zaer Darkwail

More likely the amulet should been done by Wraithstrike spell which does exact same thing but is 2th level spell. As limited charge item.

Myrleena

Even so, the price was WAY off...and Wraithstrike is one example of the extreme power creep that hit 3.5 as additional supplements came out.  Mind, that item is one of the worst I've seen.  As for other items...feel free to ask me or Mystic in thread or via PM.  Just be aware we may choose to deny any item you ask about.

Ok, understood. But would greater weapon augment crystal (acidic version) be too much to ask? thinked add to my whip acidic quality but price jumps roofs to go from +6 to +7.

Myrleena

From Mystic and I's conversation on the subject: No augment crystals, they bypass a major balancing factor of weapon costs, the multipliers based on how many enchantments they have.

Second, we do not want tons of items from 3.5.  Few of them were playtested or examined as closely as they should have been.  Therefore...probably best to just assume all of them are banned.

Follow Up (Ex) An investigator can roll twice on any Diplomacy check made to gather information, and receives the information for both results. This takes the same amount of time as one check. If the lesser of the two checks reveals false information, the rogue is aware of it.
False information is not revealed in this way if the people she questioned do not know it to be false.
This ability replaces trapfinding.

Evasion (Ex) At 2nd level and higher, a rogue can avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If she makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, she instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the rogue is wearing light armor or no armor. A helpless rogue does not gain the benefit of evasion.

Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex) A rogue of 8th level or higher can no longer be flanked.
This defense denies another rogue the ability to sneak attack the character by flanking her, unless the attacker has at least four more rogue levels than the target does.

Trap Sense (Ex) At 3rd level, a rogue gains an intuitive sense that alerts her to danger from traps, giving her a +1 bonus on Reflex saves made to avoid traps and a +1 dodge bonus to AC against attacks made by traps. These bonuses rise to +2 when the rogue reaches 6th level, to +3 when she reaches 9th level, to +4 when she reaches 12th level, to +5 at 15th

Coax Information (Ex): A rogue with this talent can use Bluff or Diplomacy in place of Intimidate to force an opponent to act friendly toward her. Source: Advanced

Hard to Fool (Ex): Once per day, a rogue with this talent can roll two dice while making a Sense Motive check, and take the better result. She must choose to use this talent before making the Sense Motive check. A rogue can use this ability one additional time per day for every 5 rogue levels she possesses.

Offensive Defense** (Ex): When a rogue with this talent hits a creature with a melee attack that deals sneak attack damage, the rogue gains a +1 dodge bonus to AC for each sneak attack die rolled.

Follow Clues (Ex): A rogue with this talent can use Perception to follow tracks as per the Survival skill.

Thoughtful Reexamining (Ex): Once per day, a rogue with this talent can reroll a Knowledge, Sense Motive, or Perception skill check to try to gain new or better information from the roll. This reroll can be made any time during the same day as the original check.

Hunter’s Surprise (Ex): Once per day, a rogue with this talent can designate a single enemy she is adjacent to as her prey. Until the end of her next turn, she can add her sneak attack damage to all attacks made against her prey, even if she is not flanking it or it is not flat-footed.

Improved Evasion (Ex): This works like evasion, except that while the rogue still takes no damage on a successful Reflex saving throw against attacks, she henceforth takes only half damage on a failed save. A helpless rogue does not gain the benefit of improved evasion.

Resiliency (Ex): Once per day, a rogue with this ability can gain a number of temporary hit points equal to the rogue's level. Activating this ability is an immediate action that can only be performed when she is brought to below 0 hit points. This ability can be used to prevent her from dying. These temporary hit points last for 1 minute. If the rogue's hit points drop below 0 due to the loss of these temporary hit points, she falls unconscious and is dying as normal.

Appearance: Kalen stands at a less than imposing 5'2". She keeps her neck long hair lose with a black orchid tied into her hair. She has a generous figure that is generally kept in check, but not completely hidden. Kalen's deep green eyes stand out and betray her generally disinterested look she has when in a neutral mood. She keeps her two weapon on her at all times, including her gear. She's no adventurer, but when she's on the job, its easy for someone to mistake her for one.
When working for clients of a more refined taste, she uses the magic of her armor to give her a loose white silk dress with a golden lining that shows off her figure a bit more, giving a bit of a cleavage. She hates this outfit, and rarely wears it on the job, unless she has to use more of a seductive or social part to her job.
While actually doing what she loves, investigation, she turns her armor into a silk fencing outfit, still with the gold lining, that holds to her frame a little but not as tightly. She wears black tight silk trousers that goes with the outfit and an elaborate belt and gloves.

History: Kalen grew up the black sheep of a family of nobles, detesting the life style, and the slime ball politics that went with it. However, she still cared for her family, and stood by their wishes to become a noblewoman. However, she found out her parents set up an arranged marriage with a lord that was well known for having wives with terribly short lifespans. She ran from her home and began working for the more nasty sort of people. Thief life was generally not for her however, despite her being a natural at it. She still wanted to do good, and instead turned to using her talents in finding snitches and money dodgers into helping the local police finding  Sadly, the pay sucked. Hard. And she found herself falling to her greed, and working for the nobles she hated so much. They paid the big bugs. 5 years later and she was one of the top investigator for anyone who wanted to find something, and she had the combat skills to back it up.

She joined the guild  in the hope for more money and perhaps a chance to retire. She did not like the crowd she associated with, but was used to it. She was recruited for her skills, and while she had to spend most of her earnings on her equipment, the chance of a million gold was too good to pass up. She has not signed just yet, wanting to know the details, but is very, very tempted.

Myrleena

Looks fairly accurate...but you ought to put down your class & level, and Race.  Also, you appear to have put in your Attack Bonuses as if you were using Two Weapon Fighting all the time.  You don't necessarily want to do that, as you can only get multiple attacks on a Full Attack, not after moving.  And...do your stats include the enhancement bonuses for the Belt and Headband?  I can't tell.  And what skill does your Headband give max ranks in?  It's set when the item is created, so you have to indicate which it is.

But looks fairly solid for the most part.

Thorn14

Er right, Human and Rogue, forgot.

And okay, I also just put an attack bonus normally without the penalties you think? And If you mean I adjusted my con and int and such? Yeah I did. And the rank was Knowledge History, i'll go mark that.
