Hello, I am new here, and I am trying to fill the time in with a few RPs. If anyone is interested in starting an RP, just reply here with anything you would like to try. I am willing to give anything a shot. But i did not mean anything Adult, i just mean different setting, times, chars, all that stuff, so please, reply with something :)

hakari

 I would like to rp. I don't mind if its modern, or fantasy. I can be a human or fantasy creature. I'm  up for anything.

Blaed

Well, we can make it fantasy, because so much more can happy, now what would you like to be?

hakari

Blaed

Alright that is fine. Now do you want it like, in a city setting or woods or something like that? And i think i will be like an elf or something.. i don't know for sure yet.

hakari

Blaed

Alright, do you want something like a great evil is going to kill the woods, and we don't know about it, or something like that? If you have any ideas let me know.

hakari

yes a great evil war would be nice. Like we get caught in between the war and try to survive.

Blaed

Like its a war of good and evil, and we are the 3rd neutral party? And the woods become the battle ground. That sounds good.

hakari

Blaed

alright, i guess i will start then.

Relger was walking through the woods like he did every day. He has been the protector of these woods for many years. He grew up here, and it was his home. Relger was an Wood-elf, and he dressed like one. With all of his clothes made from what the woods gave him. He was told that some people had made camp at the far side of the woods, and he was headed there now to check out what they where doing, and if they would not burn any of his trees, only the branches that have already fallen to the ground.

hakari

Arianna was fluttering through the trees; and came upon a camp, staying hidden in the trees so she wouldn't be noticed. Arianna was a butterfly fairy who was partial new to the wooded area. She dressed in a tie- dyed blue and purple dress with blue slippers and a purple head-band in her wavy black hair. Sitting on a branch and keeping a lookout for any foul play, she spotted someone approaching the campsite.

Blaed

Relger walked into the camp. It was a camp of humans that where already getting ready to start cutting down trees. "What are you doing, humans. You will not harm this forest at all." He looked over them, it looked like they where all wearing the same clothes. There was 8 of them, and they had weapons.

hakari

Flying down to the ground and looking at the camp from behind a tree, arianna seen that the  stranger was an elf. She noticed he was talking to them, looking over at the humans she finally noticed the weapons. Gasping she hoped they wouldn't hurt the precious trees. Moving closer to hear better, she made sure she couldnt be seen.

Blaed

The men got up and started to pull out there sword and just looks at the elf that was standing in front of them. "And who are you to tell the SIN army what to do?" They all started to move closer to Relger. He did not even more at all, he just looked over them. "You humans are an army?" He laughed. "Well, then i must ask you to leave, this forest is not a place for any army of any kind." He just stood there as the men where now only a few feet away from him.

hakari

Hearing about the men being an army; and watching them advance toward the elf, she ran into the campsite afraid that they'd hurt him.

Blaed

He saw the fairy run into the campsite, and he picked her up right away. "What are you doing here, this is not place for you." The men looked a bit shocked to see a fairy, and they backed away a bit. "Now leave this forest or i will have to make you leave." He looked down to the fairy. "I have not seen you around here before, what is your name, and when did you come to my woods?"

hakari

She looked at him and said "I was only tryying to help, and I am Arianna." Looking around and back at him she said "I'm sorry I did not know this was your forest, I've been here about two weeks, and would you put me down."

Blaed

"I am just the protector of his forest, its not really mine. You are welcome to live here, and stay for as long as you want. Just as long as you don't harm the forest, not saying that you would. And i cant..." One of the men rushed to Relger and tried to hit him with the sword he had, but Relger was quick and kicked the man in the belly, making him fall over and struggle to get some air. "Well, as you see, i cant just set you down right now."

hakari

"Thank you for allowing me to stay, I would be safe in the trees though." Looking over at the man that was struggling for breath. She said a little spell and; the other men that had weapons were no weaponless. Looking back at the protector "See I can be of some help."

Blaed

He looked at the men, that where now looking down at there hands where the weapons once where. He laughed and set the fairy down. "Yes i see that you are of some help. I will remember this, if you want to run along now, just find me later and we can talk. Right now i have to get these people to leave."

hakari

Waving to him, she flew off to the river to wash up. Once she got there, she scanned the area to make sure she was alone and not in danger. Slipping out of her dress and slippers, she took a quick wash then got out to dress. Knowing it'd be easier for her to fly home, she decided to walk. Walking around for two hours; and sitting down on a stump to rest her feet, she noticed that it was getting  ,dark. Looking around the area she seen that she was lost. Sighing, she wondered what she would do now.

Blaed

He watched at the fairy left, then he turned to the guys. "Now leave, i have magic too, i just don't like to use it very much. But i will tell you, i can make things disappear other then weapons, things that you will miss, like and arm or your mouth." He smiled and helped the guy up next to him, that was still trying to breath. "Leave, and i will not bother you anymore, stay, and i will get mad." He walked out of the little clearing, and he knew that they would report back to there army, and he would have more people to deal with later. He walked around, looking at all the trees, picking a few barriers and feeding them to a few little new born birds. He walked around until it was just about dark, and he found the fairy from before. "Hello there, what are you doing here, do you have a home in the forest yet?"

hakari

Looking at the protector, she said "I have a place picked out, it's not much at the moment." Laughing, "I'm afraid i'm lost, that's why I'm sitting here." Looking around and shivering, "this is my firsttime i've this far from my home", "Do you think you can help me?

Blaed

He walked over to her and picked her up and put her on his shoulder. "Well, if you can tell me anything about the place you are staying, i think i would be able to lead you home. And you can rest for a while on my shoulder, you look tired and cold." he smiled and then waited for her to say something about the place she lived at.

hakari

Sitting on his shoulder and trying to remember something about her area. "Oh yes, i remember there are lots of flowers near it." Thinking more on it but not coming up with anything, "i'm afraid that's all i remember about it." "Will you still be able to help?"

Blaed

He sits and thinks about it. "I know of 3 places in the woods that have lots of flowers, i guess we are just going to have to look at them all." He started off, and started to hum and simple ton that was part of a larger song. "So why did you come to this forest, i mean, i am happy that you are here, but just asking."

hakari

"I had foster parents who were human, they found me when i was just a babe." Sighing and remembering she continued, "they died recently, so that is why i left the city to come to the woods."

Blaed

"I am sorry to hear that, and i hope that they are happy that you are here." He comes to a clearing that is full of flowers of all colors. "I don't know if this is the place you live or not, but i came here just yesterday, and i did not see you." he smiled up at her.

hakari

"They are in a happy place now." Looking around she says, "yes this is it, i can be hidden when i don't want to be seen." Pointing to a bushel of flowers, "that's where i stay at." She smiled down at him, "Thanks for your help today."

Blaed

"Anytime, i just hope that you are ok, if you ever need my help, or anything like that, i am down the river at the mouth of the cave during the night." he started to walk off, then looks back. "Also, i walk around the forest almost all the time, so just look for me if you need me."

hakari

"Alright bye." She watches as he disappears out of sight, then goes to her home. Laying down, she thought of how helpful the protector was. Falling into sleep she wondered why he would dare go near a cave.

Blaed

He walked to his cave, It was going to rain soon, maybe not tonight, but tomomrrow sometime. He got there and started to nurse back the bear that he has been taking care of for some time. It was wounded by a hunter, and how he had to hunt for it and feed it. "I am sorry my friend, but soon you will be able to move around yourself." He fell asleep soon after he got the bear food and water, and he did not dream of anything.

hakari

Waking up the next morning, she decides to explore and rember certain parts of the woods to be able to make it back home. Starting out on her exploration, she comes across some tracks. Looking around for the owner and not finding them, she continues. Coming across a abin she stopped and wondered who lived there. Hiding behind a tree once she heard the front door open, she spied a hunter. Without  emaking any noise she flew to the river and found the cave. She knew the protector had to be told. Standing outside the cave, she called inside. "Hello, are you there?"

Blaed

He was just finishing up putting the herbs on the bear wounds. "Well, look who it is, how are you today." He came out of the cave and smiled at her.

hakari

She smiled back, "I'm good but you might want to follow me to see for yourself." Turning around she .started walking back the way she flew.

Blaed

He followed her, not knowing what was wrong, but he had to check it out even if it was something small. because something small can grow into something big.

hakari

She led him to the cabin, turning her head she whispered "shh don't alert him." Then she moved aside so he could see the hunter.

Blaed

He saw the hunter, and he walked up to the cabin, and looked around. He did not see anything going to waste, and he did not see him killing more then his fair share. He walked over to the hunter. "Hello human, i am here to let you know that just keep on killing only what you need, and i will be fine. And only use the wood that is already fallen and dead please." The hunter did nothing at all, but nod his head. He walked back to the fairy, and smiled. "Its a circle of life, as long as he did nothing out of his need, then we cant do anything."

hakari

Sighing with relief she says "I was just making sure he didnt hurt the forest in any way." Looking at him and smiling, " I have come to love this forest, well i guess i will head home now." Waving to him she started heading in the directio of her home.

Blaed

"Going home so soon, i thought you would like to come with me on my happy trip through the forest. I mean i could use someone to talk to and have some fun with, if you are up to it?" He smiled and waited for her to make her choice.

hakari

Turning back and walking towards him she said, "well that would be nice to get knoww the forest better, and maybe something about yourself." She waited for him to lead the way.

Blaed

He smiled and then just keeps on going. "Oh you would like to know something about myself? Well just ask, i have nothing to hide. And as for the forest, we are going to be walking for  a while, so if you get tired, you can rest on my shoulder."

hakari

Smiling back at him she said, "my feet don't tire easily." Following him she asked, "Do you have any family?" Waiting for him toanswer, she hums a song.

Blaed

"My family has lived here for a long time, but my mother and father are gone, the world took them back about 20 years ago. But I do feel like these trees are my family as well. Since i have known them all my life, i have watched them grow, as they have watched me grow." He smiled to her. They came to a clearing where a skunk family was training through it. "Well look at that, they finally came out of the tree."

hakari

Gasping she said "Aren't they so adorable." Looking around at the beauty of the forest and its creatures, she couldn't understand why someone would want to ruin it. Looking back at him andsmiling she said "I am glad to have met you", "have the skunks not come out before?"

Blaed

He smiles at her. "Well i am happy that you enjoyed our time, and no, they have not come up before, this must be there first trip away from the log. But don't get too close, if i am right, momma skunk would spray even me, because she wants to show the babies that bigger things are bad for them." He smiled and waited for them to get out of the clearing before he started across it.

hakari

Laughing, "well that is a nice surprise, its the first animals i've seen since i got here up close that is." She continued to follow him and hummed a song along the way.

Blaed

He smiled. "Well if you stay for long you will be able to see a lot of animals up close. Also if you stay around me I can show you many more then just that." He walked and touched all the trees, and if when he touched them, it was like saying hello and seeing if they where feeling ok.

hakari

Arianna knew she would have a wondrful time livving the rest of her life here in the forest. She followed and touched the tree as he did, so she could feel the life in it. Turning to him she asked "Why do you live in a cave, where its all dark and scary?"

Blaed

He stops and looks at her. "Right now I live in that cave because there is a wounded bear that is staying in there, and I need to help him get better so he can take care of himself. So I sleep there incase of something happening during the night. I don't mind the cave, it just another part of this forest, and not a since thing here would harm me, so I don't have to worry about anything." He smiled and turned and started to walk again. They came to a tree that looked like it was dieing. He went to it and place his hands on it, and stood there for a few moments, trying to feel the life in it. He felt it, and he gave it some of his own life, to try and make it feel better.

hakari

Looking at him she said, "Oh that is understandable, i couldn't live in a cave like that." Looking around she said, "I don't like the dark or large animals such as bears, but icould use my healing powers to help the bear." She turned to watch him touch the dying tree, her heart sad inside for the tree.

Blaed

He removed his hands from the tree, it looked just the same, but he smiled and walked away. The forest was starting to have life again. Every animal was waking up, going out on there lives, collecting food and getting there homes fixed out. He smiled at each passing one.

hakari

She loved how the forest had life and beauty. She knew life in the forest was important. Looking at the trees she smiled.

Blaed

"So, how much of the forest have you seen since you have been here? Other then this trip we are taking." He wanted to know if she had seen some of the more beautiful places in the forest.

hakari

"Honestly not that much, like i said I havent wanted to be far from home." She sat on a log to rest her feet.

Blaed

"Well i know a few places you would love to see, this forest can really be a thing of beauty if you know just how to look for it." They came to an opening and he sat down, the sun was just about to come up over the tree line of the forest and the whole clearing was going to be in sunlight in a moment. "Come and sit here with me, i will show you one of those beauties.

hakari

Sitting beside him she said, "I would lovwe for you to show me some beautiful places."

Blaed

He sat there, and then the sun came over the tree line. When the sunlight hit the cleaning, all of the dew on the flowers and trees and grass shined like gems. It was everywhere, and it was shining brightly, almost too strong. It looked like there where in the rays of light. "See what i mean, if you look, this forest is beautiful."

hakari

Looking at the sun shining on everything, she gasps with pleasure. "Oh now this is true beauty." She twirled around the clearing, taking in everything.

Blaed

"There are many places like this, you just have to look for them and be in the right place at the right time." He got up and looked around with her. "I love this forest because i learn something new about it everyday, and its alive!"

Zinder

Somewhere far away in a land of chaos one rule the Empire of humans. Leech with great but dark magic - Nordel was his name...

"My Lord!" - a soldier walked into the huge hall where the Emperor was giving orders. "Our forces returned! Great things they have seen, my Lord! Woods and blue sky, clean rivers for our new horde to use, food to supply us.."

Nordel made a few steps toward the soldier watching with pleasure the fear in his eyes.. "Send a scout to examine these woods you speak of! I need to know everything about it... Now go!"

Soon Tulas - the scout was riding through the ashed land, going to the woods to examine and collect information..

~~~
:) Can I join ?  >:)
Blaed
[You sure can, the more the better. Now i would just need someone to play the armies for light. blah]
Zinder
[Thank you :) . I will take the scout - Tulas for now.. Since the scale of this rp is not too big I can also take the whole "dark side" too together with Nordel himself.. of course new players are welcome to join and take part of that or we can just leave it be simply as environment (the World) and I'll keep pushing it ahead..]
Tulas entered the forest. It was dark already. He saw where the camp took place and touched the ground - cold.. No trace of his army. It's possible that they managed to get on the road by now and they'll soon arrive in their lands.
"I come with peace!" - he shouted, smiling to himself for the little lie he said..
So quiet.. even the birds are sleeping by now...
Blaed
Relger showed Arianna as many of the forest beauty as he could. The day passed fast and soon the night was upon them. He was making his way back to her little home so that she would not be lost. And then a bird landed on him, and starts to tell him that there was a man at the edge of the forest and was screaming.
Zinder
Tulas brought some of the dry bushes and twigs he found around and started preparing a camp fire. He took some of the smoky meat he was wearing with him for the journey and went to the lake to take some fresh water.
Blaed
[Going to wait a bit for Hakari to come back before i keep on going, she will have to play her part too, hehe]
hakari
She watched as the bird said something to him. She was concerned when the bird flew off. Looking over at him she asked, "What did he say?" "Is everything alright?"
Zinder
"With the fire burning this place looks a lot better.." - Tulas was thinking. "These cute creatures in here and all that green land.. it lacks style! Fire is what makes things going.. And fire they'll get when Lord Nordel arrive.".
Blaed
"There seems to be a human at the edge of the forest again, and he is yelling at something. So i am going to go check it out, you can come if you wish, but if not, i will let you know what happened later." He started to walk off to the camp site that the other humans had made before. He hoped that this human did not want to harm the forest, because he would hate to have to remove another one. He did not have any problems with humans, only the ones that took more then they needed and killed the trees, because they where too lazy to look for the downed trees and the fallen branches. As he walked he remember the first human he had ever met. It was a woman that was picking herbs for a sick man. Back in that time he was not as wise as he is now, and he hated anyone taking from his forest. So he had walked up to her and started to call her a thief and a killer of plants. But she had just smiled at him, and started talking with him. He learned many things from her, how that humans and the forest could live together with out harming one another. He found her to be a mother after a time. And when she had died, it pained him much, and for a while he went back to fending off anyone that came into the forest, but many years ago, he remember her by looking at a flower, it was her favorite flower. He smiled now, walking to go meet this new human, and he was going to give him the chance that he should have given her right away.
hakari
She wished him good luck and said "I'll wait here, and you can tell me if something is wrong." She went into her house and said a little prayer for him, hoping everything was fine.
Zinder
"No welcoming party I guess.."- Tulas thought. - "I hope there are some of those rabit creatures in here.. I would love some fresh meat..".
He entered deeper into the woods with a dagger hidden in his long black leather coat and a few tricks in mind.
Blaed
After a while of walking, he came upon the human. He was walking around with out making a sound. He was hunting. "Hello human, let me tell you now, do not take anymore then you need, and do not chop down any trees or you would have to deal with me you hear?" He smiled and give him a slight nod. He did not know who this human was, but he did not like him for some reason. But he gave him the same agreement as anyone that came into the forest.
Zinder
"Yes, elf. I hear and understand you. But I prefer to have a rabbit for dinner so.. stay out of my way ?"
Tulas slowly turned and continued down the path.. He knew that the elf will keep watching him. Eventually he will turn his guard down. Tulas knew that they all do this mistake eventually..
hakari
After praying, she laid down to get some sleep. She tossed and turned because she felt something was not right. She got up and looked out the window.
Blaed
Relger smiled and just turned. He would have all the animals keep a watch on him. He did not like using the animals like that, but he knew that they would not mind at all, they would even enjoy it. He smiled and walked back to this cave, to go work on the bear a little more.
Zinder
"This elf guy is real deal." - Tulas was thinking while suddenly he saw something moving in bush.. "Easy now, little fellow..". It was a rabbit and Tulas knew it. His eyes adapted to the dark and he was able to clearly see the little white thing moving and seeking a home for the night.
The dagger appeared in his hand and a moment after that it was flying towards the creature vastly slicing the air on its way. Low moan announced the death of the rabbit. Tulas was happy with himself : "rabbit, little rabbit.. why are you such a small rabbit? ... I will need more of you.."
Blaed
He heard the death of the rabbit, and he was sad, but he knew that it was just the way life went. And as long as he did not take any more then he needed, that was fine. He could only hope that people would understand this sooner or later.
Zinder
Tulas knew that he will need to stay here for a while.. He needs more food and a place to store it especially when the Foursome arrives.
"These mad assassins eat like newborn dragons!" - He smiled. But they always gets the job done... and there is a lot of work here, a lot of cleaning up to do.
He takes the rabbit to the river and pours out some of the blood into the water. Soon the bloody water turns into a beautiful face.
“Send the Foursome, messenger!”- Tulas yelled into the water. “And tell the Lord that I have news for him.”
Blaed
Relger did not feel well all of a sudden. He had never felt this way, maybe someone was doing something bad in his forest. He thought about it and could only think that the human, so he walked back and saw him yelling at the water, the thing he heard was "...the Lord that I have news for him". He did not know what was going on, but he did not like it. He walked into the light of the moon and looked at the human. "Get out of the forest now, and don't come back or i will take you life and the lives of anyone else you bring."
Zinder
"Now, that's more like it... You know, I was starting to think that you don't have it in you." - A smile appeared on his face in a complete contrast to the rage his eyes kept, flickering and changing.
Blaed
Relger did not like what was going on, he said a few words, and the air crackled with magic, every animal knew what was coming and a bolt of lighting came down at the man, and at the same time, a pure white sword appeard in Relgers and. It was a long sword, and it looks at if the metal that it was made out of glowed.
[Just to let you know, Relger is a spell weaver, meaning he can cast up to 3 spells at a time, also, if we are going to fight, we cant be too... gory or to violent about it.]
Your comment is noted. I'll behave ;)
Tulas is throat-cutter – he won’t give it too much thought before throwing a dagger on someone. He is no caster too but he does know a few tricks and a special resistance applies to him due to the fact that he is a sworn member of the Emperor tactical forces. ]
Talus's ominous voice thundered through the woods in a high, maddening laugh - "Ha-ha! You are funny! And what are you going to do with that blade? Make a salad?!"
Blaed
He smiles at the human that was there. "Is it a common trait among humans to laugh at the things you don't know that will take you life away in just a moment. He smiled and before the human could even blink Relger was behind him and slashing his blade down an angle at him.
Zinder
With a slight turn Tulas was able to repel the attack and move away from harm’s way. Another dagger quickly appeared in his free hand and armed with the two of them he attacked pushing the elf a bit.
“Humor is a special ability among humans. Don’t worry – I don’t expect you to understand it!” – Tulas started running toward the elf hurling into another attack.
Blaed
He moved his sword up to deflect the daggers away, then said two words really fast, and his sword started to glow brighter, until it got painfully bright. He was like looking into the sun now, and it seemed like it was coming from more then the sword now. Everything seemed to glow. Using this glowing to mask his movements, he slowly and quietly crept to the place where he would make his next move.
Zinder
Tulas's eyes start burning from the bright light. He was used to darkness and during a night he feels almost cozy but now this light crippled his defensive stance, making him lose the good sense of orientation he was used to. He gripped the daggers tight – “This little elf… I’m going to break every bone he has!”
Another attack emerged powered by his rage but this time he felt only air on the way of the cutting blades.
Blaed
Regler moves in, he make sure that he makes no sound while moving in for his attack. He kicks at the humans mid section, trying to throw him off balance and to get him to the ground, to where it would be much easier to finish this combat.
Zinder
With closed eyes Tulas dodged the attack of the elf - the years of training had sharpened his senses and he was no easy prey. However this combat was out of his abilities. He knew that only moments stay in the way of what probably could become his death.
He throws a potion on the ground and jumps away from the building greenish cloud.
“You shall learn, elf! Many like me you’ll see…” – Tulas jumps again into the bushes and quickly vanishes from sight.
Blaed
Able to see in the glowing light, getting away from the green smoke was easy. He ran over to the spot where the human had jumped into, but he could not find him anywhere. "I am telling you this now human, don't mess with my forest, and get out of it now. If you harm my forest, what i have done here will look like child's play!"
Zinder
"We'll see about that..." - Tulas said to himself. He knew that his plans will be delayed but he has to notify his Lord about the recent developments. He looked around for source of some fresh blood he can use to communicate and soon he found himself a little bird - not good for food but it will provide a way to send his message not just to his Lord but also to the elf - telling him that he means business...
After sending an urgent request for reinforcements he hanged the bird on a tree...
hakari
Arianna left her home when she seen light coming from the trees. Flying towards the light she came to a tree with a dead bird hanging there. She cried for the loss and flew to find Regler.
Blaed
He was walking around, looking for the man, and he left bad again. "That human must be doing this evil again." He started to run, only to run into Arianna. "Whats wrong little one?"
hakari
"Oh thank goodness i found you, there is something bad happening." She looked around to make sure she didnt see the man lurking about, turning back to Regler and grabbing his hand. "Come, I will show you what has happened." She made sure he followed her to where the bird was hanging at.
Blaed
He saw the bird and started to get pissed. "This is not something you do with the forest, this is not right." He ran deeper into the woods, a bird flew over to him and told him a massive amount of people where coming, they where dressed in all white. "What now!"
Zinder
Tulas was awaiting the sign of the Foursome ... He made this stupid messenger realize that the situation requires immediate measures! They should arrive any moment now. Soon the air was filled with a scream of a banshee – they were here.
The shadows grew darker – it was almost like the light was sucked into them.
“You called us” – the shadows said and Tulas knew that he can’t see them but they expect his orders.
“There is an elf nearby – find him, eliminate him, eradicate all that stands in your way! Report back on completion of your task.” – Talus was quick in his instructions.
The Foursome are mindless creatures. They are 4 angry spirits which can only follow the order they are given and vanish on its completion.
It doesn't matter if the Foursome is successful or not - the army will arrive anyway. And the legion will prevail! Now Talus needs to go back and report...
hakari
She flew trying to keep up with Regler; but she could not fly too fast. So she tried to keep up with him as best as she could.
Blaed
He felt a powerful evil pressure, and a powerful good pressure on the other side. He did not know what to do, he was trapped, and now he was going to do the only thing he knew what to do. He touched a tree, it was a tree far older then any other, and it was the mother of all the other trees in the forest. He started to chant, say many things faster then anyone could understand him.
Zinder
[Yeah.. this will really be fun. However I am afraid that I have to go to sleep now... It's almost midnight and I will get up for a day shift in the office so.. Please continue with the story any way you like. See you in 20 hours.]
hakari
She finally caught up with him; and seen him say a chant. Wondering what was going to happen, she stayed close to him.
Blaed
[Ok, will wait then, until tomorrow when you can post again]
Zinder
[Honey! I am home! :P Congratulations, FallenAngelNajdan! It seems that you leveled up while I was gone! :)]
The small reconnaissance group entered the woods with fear creeping into their minds... There was no clue that any dark creations ever touched this place - no Foursome, no screaming... just countless living, healthy trees and light - bright, distracting light...
They felt uneasy here. Something very bad was going to happen and they were not able to locate the source of the danger…
((Do you mind if I join on the evil side too?))
"Lousy scout duty again," she said, her voice dripping with hatred.  "I'm sick of my talent being wasted on these simple missions."
Ceres didn't look intimidating.  The little sun that shined through the canopy glimmered off of her golden hair and her fox ears flicked back and forth in aggravation.  She had three bushy fox tails that danced with her short strides.  Short strides because she was scarcely over four feet tall with the appearance of a ten year old child.  The intensity in her eyes made it apparent she was no child, but what circumstances had brought that scowl to her face remain unknown.
In between her mutterings about the distaste for her job, she uttered phrases in an ancient language. Her words were so precise, her tone so perfectly inflected that she had to have been practicing for the entirety of her life, should her appearance be the gauge.
[the more the better]
Relgers hands started to glow, and the moved into the tree, and a humming started. Soon all of the trees around him started to hum too. Slowly but surly they started to glow. It was creating a force field that was making all the animals safe, and pushing out everyone that was not welcomed by Relger from the forest. Slowly Relger felt his strength leave him, the spell was a very complex one, and even the most skilled spell casters could not do it with out becoming weak after. He feel to his knees, and just sat there for a moment, and watched at the trees glowed more and more.
[*hugs Niki* Of course you can :) Dark side appreciates your choice!]
"My lady!" - The soldiers clumsily fallen on their knees. - “You are here already. We didn’t know you’ll arrive so soon. We would love to prepare your bell tent. We are still trying to figure out what happened here. We saw that there was a scrimmage of some sort but it seems like one we never seen before – it looks like that in the end the spirits were whipped from existence by pure light!”
Niki315
The soldiers were bumbling around like she should have expected, and quickly they started to make penance by showing that they might have some applicable worth.  She produces a handful of fine gems from her satchel.  "Be certain you hang these every ten feet around my tent.  I will not abide a single failure on this matter."
The soldiers' reports on what had taken place was a little concerning for Ceres.  There was something of notable power slowing the work of the Emperor. Maybe she should send a messenger back to see if the forest needed to remain in tact...
"I'll be exploring the forest myself for a short while.  I will be back by sunset.  I should expect the preparations will be taken care of by then."
She didn't wait for a confirmation and began to travel into the forest.
Relger was sitting on the ground, still trying to get his strength back. He was weak, and he could do no more for a few moments. He looked around and saw that the trees where almost at there fullest power. He did not like using the trees, but to protect them all from the forces all around it, he needed to. "I am sorry my friends, i know that you don't like this, but it will only have to go on for a little while longer." He looked around, and made sure that no one was around him. He took out some berries that he kept on him, and started to munch down on them, hoping that they would restore his energy.
Niki315
Something was wrong.  Very wrong.  In the distance she could see a faint glow approaching ever closer.  Her servants, always close at hand slinked out of the shadows to her side.  Ceres recognized the glow.  Spells that generated large amounts of force often glowed in exactly this way.  However, she had never seen such a powerful spell before.  "I don't have anything powerful enough to dispell this..."  She looked to her servants and whispered in that practiced tongue and they disappeared.
Soon the wall of force was upon her, and pushing her back with ease.  "Damnation... There's nothing I can do to stop this... "  If Ceres intended to make any forward progress today, there was only one option left.
She screamed.  The terrified scream of a young girl broke the serenity of the forest.  Ceres took a moment to prepare herself to act like she was actually a scared child.  She fell to the ground and cried for help once more before forcing herself into tears.
Relger was just getting up, and feeling as if he would not fall right back down, when the scream the into the humming of the trees. His body moved on its down, as it started to race. He was running as fast as he could, trying to get to who ever was screaming. Again the scream can to his ears. Now he knew that he was close, maybe another 1000 yards or so. He looked and looked, but then a tree branch that he did not see connected into his face, and it knocked him to the ground. He felt as if he had ran into the tree itself. He tried to get back up, but was unable to. "Why are you trying to stop me tree? There is someone in trouble that needs my help."
Niki315
"Someone save me!"  Ceres almost felt sick at her own words.  She may have once been prissy enough to say those words, but not anymore.  There was nothing she couldn't gain control of, no one who could resist her forever.  If she could only find the right words, she could bend anyone's will to her own.  There was no being saved by anyone anymore.  Not for Ceres.
She called out again, staying true to her act.  She didn't appreciate being pushed around in the dirt.  It was tearing up the robes she wore over her over-sized tunic.  She looked like a wreck. Surely, there was no one so heartless as to allow a ten-year-old to be pushed around on the ground so forcefully.
[Just to let you know, your girl cant be 10, if she looks 10, that is fine, but she must be at least 16, so the rules say]
Relger got up and started to stumble to where the yelling and screaming was coming from. Then he saw her, a little girl, being pushed away by his spell, he could not get to her in time, he just willed for her to be allowed. Hoping that the spell would stop its attack on her. He waited and saw to it that the spells passed by her, and then he walked over to her. "I am sorry about that little girl, I did not know that you where in the forest. Now where do you come from?"
Tulas entered the hall and went straight to the Emperor.
"My Lord! I have news for you. Our little elf problem is taken care of – he shall soon be no more. Lady Ceres herself is taking care of it right now. I am sure that you’ll find my work of satisfactory to you!”
Tulas saw the light smile on the emperor’s face and left the hall in a hurry. He reported back – there is no need for him to stay any longer and if so – he would prefer to be as far away from his master as possible. He never liked him and for good reasons…
Niki315
((The reason why Ceres looks 10 is because she is cursed.  When she was 10 years old, a demon cursed her to never show her true age by the light of day.  At sunset she returns to her natural form, a 22 year old fox-woman.  At sunrise, she transforms back.  I usually throw in a flashback at some point, and since there's no character profiles for this little pick-up rp, the information hasn't come out yet.  ^^ ))
Surprise more than anything else, overtook her when the spell passed by her.  She looked around frantically trying to figure out what had happened.  She would be alone for a while; her servants would be unable to bypass the spell.  She had a few spells of decent power she could rely on, but without her servants, she couldn't hold up in a straight up fight.  She only hoped that she wouldn't run into any enemy forces for the time being.
Just as she had thought it, a wood elf approached her.  How was he able to move through the forest so easily?  His questions were expected, and Ceres, recoiled in fear.  "I... I don't know..."  The little girl act was useful, but she really despised relying on it so heavily.  There wasn't much else to do though until she could call her servants to her.
Arianna seperated from Regler was walking through the forest. She heard a girl scream out. She stopped in her tracks because it scared her. She looked around and knew she was lost from her path.
Zinder
The wood became quite. There was something strange in the air - like the feeling when someone watches you but you can't locate him. Arianna was not in the wood she knew few hours ago. Something was changing it, rearranging the paths, taking control over all non-living, pushing and nudging even plants and the trees. Fear bound all creatures when silence spread like dark plague throughout the forest.
“Ceres…” – whispered a voice nearby – “Do not fail me, Ceres…”
She felt the cold touch of the air caressing her cheek.
Niki315
"I'm scared... Why was the forest hurting me?" Ceres asked, her voice still full of innocence.  She needed to figure out a way to remove the spell that was creating that force.  Hopefully, the wood elf that was present might be somehow capable of it.
Blaed
Relger bent down to the little girl and pulled her to her feet. "Well, you are safe now so you dont have to fear the forest, that was just a spell to protect the forest from harm, and push all unwelcome people and being out of it. I am sorry that you got into that, are you hungry or something? I know a great place where berries grow wild?" He did not know anything about this little girl, but he felt bad that his spell and done so much bad to this little girl, and he was going to take care of her for the time being until these people leave. He did not know how long that was going to be but he just had to wait around and find out. "Whats your name little girl?"
hakari
Arianna didn't hear anymore screams, so she continued walking so she could find her way home. She stopped when she heard voices. She hid behind a tree so they wouldnt see her.
Niki315
Ceres knew what was going on; the elf's description of the spell didn't really help all too much.  She wasn't hungry, but he was willing to show her where he found wild berries.  She nodded at his question and then as they started walking again she answered his other question.  "I'm Vanessa.  I'm looking for my mommy.  She said she was coming to the woods to get something important.  She didn't come back last night and now I'm scared and hungry."
hakari
She recognized regler's voice but not the little girls. She didnt want to seem like she was eavesdropping, so she flew up onto a tree branch.
