I tried to log in through the https version of Elliquiy, but when I do, it takes me to the http version instead. When I change the URL back to https, it acts as though I haven't entered my login information! As such, I had to login through a proxy site just to type this.

...I think my patience with SMF just fell through the floor : /

The custom CMS I wrote for the front of the site handles https fine. Mediawiki handles https fine.

Gah.

This one doesn't concern me a great deal personally at present, although it does sound good to have https available...  But for the record, I think I am getting that conversion from https into http, too.

But this DOES concern me because I cannot access Elliquiy through http, only through https. Thus, when I try to log in, it takes me to a page that does not load, and I have to put the s in the URL, only to find out that I didn't enter my login information, so I have to enter it again, only to be taken to the http page which won't load, meaning I have to put the s in the URL to go to the https site, only to find out that it didn't count me as putting in my login information...

And now I'm getting 404'd when I try to access the https site...

That's me trying to fix it.

SMF is relying on a server variable, but setting that variable seems to wreak havoc.

There we go.

^$^#$ing hack job.

Sorry about that.
