Hello!

So I had a few ideas with a common theme, that at least one of the characters will have a relatively large amount of political power. So these ideas will be pretty plot-sy as well as smutty. We can discuss and negotiate finer details in a PM if you're interested. These ideas tend to fall along Light-to-Bon lines so keep that in mind.

The Kennedy Protocols

3 USC ยง 19. Vacancy in offices of both President and Vice President; officers eligible to act.

(a)
(1) If, by reason of death, resignation, removal from office, inability, or failure to qualify, there is neither a President nor Vice President to discharge the powers and duties of the office of President, then the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall, upon his resignation as Speaker and as Representative in Congress, act as President.

The 25th Amendment establishes the Presidential Line of Succession - who takes over if the President is somehow unable to fulfill his duties. Just in case, the Succession was established down to 18 positions meandering through some select congressional and cabinet positions. Good thing too, because now we need it.

After a major political scandal and the resulting murderous cover-up was blown wide open the resulting fallout swallows up the President, the Vice President, and most of the Cabinet. The last man standing is one Jeremy Walters - formerly the Secretary of Education but now the President of the United States. By day he works hard to restore the people's faith in the Office and their Government, but Walters is the first openly Atheist President and the first Single President of the United State since the 1880's.

Which means that be believes that he's never really going to be popular enough to get re-elected and therefore in some ways has nothing to lose. So while by day he's working hard for the American People, but by night he feels very few qualms about using the trappings and prestige of the office to get laid. And in response the Secret Service has dusted off and brought back something nicknamed 'The Kennedy Protocals'...

Long Live The King
Yusparia is a tiny country in Eastern Europe that's making a big name for itself lately. When it finally freed itself from the USSR, the people wanted to restore the original Monarchy but the restored King decided to modernize the country as best he could including a sweeping system of legal reforms introducing Checks and Balances of Power. Now a Constitutional Monarchy, King Ihon of Yusparia spent his life trying to make his little country an economic and political powerhouse on the world stage and he did a better job then you'd expect. Yusparia is no Russia, China, or the USA but it's considered to have more pull then a country it's size normally has.

While the Monarchy isn't the same as it was in the old days, the people do seem to appreciate the balance the old King tried to strike between reviving old traditions and modernizing the kingdom to make it a viable player in the 21st century. It's not uncommon to see programs and imagry that literially blends medivel and futurist aesthetics. Supercomputers made to look like old libraries, flat-screen TVs made to look like old tapestries, etc. By all accounts, King Ihon's only real mistake was waiting so long to make sure the royal bloodline would continue. A few years ago King Ihon died, and his only child is now King Andryr.

King Andryr of Yusparia wasn't a bad King, and he liked to think he wasn't a bad man. Just that when he let himself relax he arguably took it too far sometimes. An amusing fact about Yusparian Law, when it restored it's Monarchy it based it's laws off of updated versions of it's old ones from before it was a Communist Puppet State. When they did that they accidently left the "Right of First Nights" on the books. Technically, King Andryr could demand sex with any other woman that gets married either in Yusparia or as a citizen of Yusparia. Technically he can do this, but King Andryr has made a bit of a public show of just using this to justify crashing wedding/bachelor/bachelorette parties instead.

It's in this context that they met, YC a visitor to Yusparia with a bridal party for a wedding. One who has what was supposed to be just a one-night-stand with an honest-to-god King. But things get complicated, and not necessarily in a Fairy Tale way...

An International Incident

In full honesty, David Baker had never even heard of the small country of Dahra before a couple weeks ago. He couldn't help but wonder if that was on purpose for this part of the world. In the week he's been in the country he's learned a lot, and one of those things is that as far as he could tell it was absolutely tiny as far as countries went. Maybe that's why it's survived this long, who knows?

Dahra was on the border of India and Pakistan, nustled up nicely against the Indian Ocean. You'd think that would spell a world of hurt for the place but apparently their neighbors were so prone to arguing with each other then little Dahra was left out of most of the drama. Good for them, sort of an abject lesson in letting things slide off if they didn't matter. He knew that Dahra was a Constitutional Monarchy but to be honest he's spent the whole time working and didn't catch much more then that. He heard that the current Monarch was an aging King, and his power here was more then you'd think but wasn't absolute. Fair enough, a proper American shouldn't be into that just on principle. Either way, it didn't matter. His days often had him working during all his waking hours and crashing with a friend.

The way he heard it, the current Princess of Dahra was getting her feet wet and decided that the country's Healthcare system needed an overhaul. Enough of one that the Doctors Without Borders were stepping into help as hospitals were being renovated and new clinics were being built allover the country. David Baker wasn't a Doctor, he was a Metalworker and Welder. He didn't know a gallbladder from a duodenum but when you've got a friend who is a Doctor with Doctors Without Borders whose willing to pull some strings to get you a construction job doors open. Actually, he liked the work. It was hard, but how can you not get the warm and tinglies from fixing up a Hospital? Especially when it turned out that Dahra didn't have enough metalworkers for the task at hand. It was sort of a sketchy part of the world for an American, granted - but really as long as he didn't cross the border into Pakistan he should be fine.

The next parts that happened were kind of a blur. Getting off from a shift he ended up in a hotel bar where he met a local rich girl who apparently had a thing for rugged men. They ended up going up to the penthouse and screwing each other's brains out, that was fantastic. In the morning however he was arrested by the Palace Guards of Dahra and thrown into a particularly dark cell for reasons he didn't find out until later.

That local Rich Girl? She had actually been the Princess of Dahra, but that very same night the King had died and might have been assassinated. So now that Princess he'd fooled around with was an honest-to-god Queen - and now the whole country thinks he's either a hero for saving her life from assassins, or thinks he was in on the plot to murder their Monarch...
