I know what you mean ... I feel like I need a sword <.<

Well, you do wield double blades. And those are so pretty.. where did you find those? *dribbles*

Cassiopeia

Xan found them for me for another RP we did! *huggles Xan*  Yeah I'm just in love with them ... far more than any woman should be with weapons >.>

But I was just thinking I should have a sword cuz I made her more skilled at close and hand to hand combat.  Then I have all these big clunky guns -.-

Xanatos

You can say Markus made those 'clunky' guns for you. -chuckles-

Cassiopeia

Lol, yes I shall do that  ;D  Sorry ... I forgot they're "art" right?

*steals one from the 'Lark*

Oooh, nice sidearm!
*wanders off whistling*

By the way, it might be handy to create a separate character thread with all this lovely OOCly chatter going on here ;)

Xanatos

Lark is his races planet lol. Metalark is his species name. And you best not taking his toys -warns sternly- He does not take kindly to that kinda behavior. -shakes finger-

Oh and yes, they are art. -grins- Well more accurately, aesthetically pleasing to look at.

Vandren

Still working out my character.  He'll be along the infiltration/forward observer/sabotage type, though.

Xanatos

Looks like I am the muscle... lol so strange. I usually play the stealthy back of the group guy lol. I just love guns and armor and all the other toys to much, so yeah muscle it is. -grins-

Yes, one might even consider them abstract art ...  ;D

Hence 'lark, dear, and not Lark ;P
Plus, she's tiny next to him. Would be extremely amusing to see her steal something from him ^^

Xanatos

Ah I see, a nickname. =P  Amusing maybe, but end result = not so pleasant heh; unless he got um... creative...

Cassiopeia

*suddenly pictures the tiny red head soaring across the ship* ... *bursts into laughter*

Depends on what one views as pleasant *grins*

Hahaha! Oh yeah, I can see that happening... I mean, 8inches high difference. Man! xD

Cassiopeia

*continues to snicker and imagines her legs coming out of her neck, cartoon-style*

if you want, Xanatos, you can make information about the organization. Just a few guidelines:

-start it small but decently reputable. I want their reps to grow as the story goes on
-don't make them incredibly powerful. The dynamic Im sensing with these characters made is that theyre all very skilled alone, but lack the 'team chemestry' at the moment.
-which means that the team should be fairly new

-finally, leave some room at the leader position for me to make a character. Thanks

Xanatos

Roger. Sounds good. I was thinking more of a general idea for the group instead of intense details. Those I would leave to you, as you know what you want to do with them.

Heheh, you're evil, girl.
Of course, a huge explosion will either be heard somewhere around the towering 'lark or the tiny spacepirate landing's spot.

Cassiopeia

You can't accuse a spectator of being evil!  O:)  I can't help that it's amusing ...

*giggles when seeing the muscle charred and annoyed*

This, I like. There is something about a newly formed group, even the forming itself, that is highly entertaining to both read and write.

Lets just all get along... I hate nothing more than PC's who cannot get along >.< . Seen to many games end through just that. I freely admit its got me cautious (paranoid) and a little bitter over it.

Mercenary Company, Fersarlik

Fersarlik: Fersarlik is a small time mercenary company which hires its men and women out on the normal jobs one would expect from a company such as it. Unlike most smaller companies, Fersarlik has a reputation for doing good work. Its people are skilled, and good at what they do. They get paid well and in part because of this, make sure to do a good job. No one has complained about the work Fersarlik does and thus their reputation is quite clean and spotless.

Farsarlik is based on the planet Trepdofson, a large and influential world.

The organization is only known to have 20 on the payroll and has several craft on hand to use.

Trepdofson: The 'mega' world, as some call it is a planet which is now mostly covered in city. It at one time was Earth like, though less lush and has grown to become a major player in the Igir sector. The world had abundant mineral and crystalline resources and they were eagerly plundered bringing wealth and power to the planets government. Little remains of their former natural resources but the power remains.

The population is estimated to be around one hundred billion people of many races, mostly human or sub-human. Trepdofon's military is substantial and as powerful as the planets influence.

How does that look to you Kronos?

Chreestafer

so yes i do believe im going to be the ranged man of the group the sniper specialists but im still not sure what powers, im thinking minimal at best he can guide bullets with his psionic powers but im not sure what else to add and should he be human like straight human or should he be a creature
“The Doctor: This is bad, I don't like this. [kicks console and yells in pain] Never use force, you just embarrass yourself. Unless you're cross, in which case... always use force!
Amy: Shall I run and get the manual?
The Doctor: I threw it in a supernova.
Amy: You threw the manual in a supernova? Why?
The Doctor: Because I disagreed with it! Now stop talking to me when I'm cross!”

Brian

Race: Human
Age: early-30s
Sexuality: Straight
Notable Skills: Kenjutsu, Jojutsu, Jujutsu, Infiltration (stealth, camouflage, lockpicking, etc.), Forward Observer, Sabotage

Description: About 5’10”, Brian actually weighs a bit less than one might guess given his height and profession because he is made up of lean muscle.  He’s trained himself for endurance and speed rather than bulk strength.  He maintains the ghost of a goatee and a samurai-style topknot.  Due to its design, he pretty much constantly wears his cybersuit, seeing as it acts like a second skin.  Usually, though, he leaves the helmet off, unless he’s working.  The entire suit of armor is normally turned to matte black, but switches to its chameleon mode when appropriate on a job.

Background: Brian was born under another name on a former corporate colony.  When the company went under, a variety of criminal organizations moved in and took over.  The colony, he refuses to give its name, quickly became a hive, but one that the galaxy’s governments found useful . . . after all, spies from different nations need neutral places to meet, spies from the same nation need secure drop points, and the higher ups in many governments have, refined, tastes that can’t be met with licit goods.  Street wars and covert black ops, shadow wars, were common on the planet by the time Brian was born.  Neither of his parents were involved directly, although everyone was indirectly involved.  But, his family wasn’t well off either, because they weren’t involved.  By the time he was thirteen, Brian was running messages for a House.  They were the kind of thing that couldn’t be trusted to potentially compromised comm systems.  By sixteen, he was scouting targets for House enforcers.  By eighteen, he was an enforcer himself, infiltrating rival Houses and leaving silent, or not-so-silent, messages.  Something was lacking, though.  When he got the chance, Brian left his homeworld for the stars.  He was picked up by a minor mercenary company that only did specialized covert ops, mostly for companies.  They broke up a few years ago, once the founder retired and didn’t leave a clear succession.  And that, as they say, is how he ended up with Fersarlik.

Notable Gear:
Armor—Cybersuit (molecular weave PCA, 20% strength enhancement, sealed, sensor visor, short range comm, holo-HUD, chameleon surface, IR masking)
Weapons—Twin Blasters, Blast Rifle, Paralysis Pistol, 9mm Pistol (caseless), Grenades (flash-bang, HESH, EMP), Vibro-Knives (2; tanto and k-bar), Forcesword
Cybernetics (most were acquired during his days as a House scout/enforcer)—Biomonitor, Comm Implant (bone induction mic), Cyber-eyes (both; UV, thermograph, optic readout, polarization, light intensification), Gyrobalance (perfect balance), Reflex Booster (+50% above average Human level)

Paralysis Pistol

Blasters

9mm Pistol

Vibro-Tanto

(Gave up on finding an image I like for a blast rifle or forcesword)

Looks like a kick butt guy Vandren. Reminds me, I need to make some modifications to my guy. I always forget things which would exist logically. I like details but always lack it in my writing >.< .
