I have a questions for you guys so I know where I stand. For the looks of it all of you know more d20. Do you want to roll with d20 instead of 3rd edition? let me know so I can read the book.

Not really.  I never understood the appeal of d20, or even how half the stuff worked in it...

I'd need to learn the system anyway... give me a rundown at some point

I'm okay with either one.  The gm's I've played with before played a looser game with less rules, but I'm familiar enough with both that I can play either way. Perhaps after playing a more structured game I can tell the difference between the two.

I just recently got the book for the 3rd Edition and it certainly seems to propose some interesting ideas in terms of worlds and characters (and being an anime lover certainly helps). I'd love to join this little group and make a character, after I take a quick refresher glance over some stuff.

alright, I've posted a prototype character sheet.  sorry about the formatting, It looked really nice when I posted it, and it came out like carp. Anyway, i'll check in later tonight when I get off of work! have a nice day everyone.

I don't know d20, but in 3rd advancement points are the same as character points except that they can't be used to buy Variables on powers you already have.

okay, so essentially they're only good during character creation. Then how do we level up our attributes, or do we not do that in 3rd? (I certainly hope we can upgrade them. Some of my attributes can stay at rank one for all I care, but others need to progress.)

Sai, I had a look at your character sheet...you made a mistake.  Hit points and Energy points are the sums of Body+Soul, and Mind+Soul, multiplied by five, not plus five.

that's what I thought too, but on the blank character sheet provided by Zarazel, hp and ep are (Body + Soul)(+5) and (Mind + Soul)(+5).

The theme is (at least at the start) the multiverse included with the book.  Everyone begins on Earth, and will shortly join Orpheus (https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=71786.0) if they haven't already.  Build with 350 points; Zara will check (and not necessarily approve) all attributes, all skills above 6, and all stats above 8.  We're using Shock rules.

350... NIce. I may actually have a character made up that will fit. Since its an alen game I think I'll resurrect Draconian Prince Ryudo. Yea gonna have ta tone him down a bit. I had him built with 499 points but thats cause he's an NPC (Bad Player Control) in a game I am running, but His original form was for a 2nd edition game that was run. He's a Half Human Half Draconian (Different version of Dragon people than in the book) Prince that in the original game was Exiled by an evil uncle and lived on earth with no idea of his heritage... ect ect. That game lasted 3 long and fun years and eventually it went into space ect ect ect. I would love to rez him for some more fun. :D

I still havent beable to download the program that opens the book on my computer and that is why I haven't finished constructing him.
