In DiscussionI am thinking of this in a world with a freer morale fortitude around sexuality not unlike Jaqueline Carey's atmosphere in Kushiel's Dart, wherein sexual service is viewed as a normal profession as any other.  A King runs a special service wherein a reward is offered for people in his service to attend the "Pleasure house," where specially trained servants give pleasure to its patrons, the patrons being rewarded the honor to attend by the King.  This is the elite of the elite in the art of giving and receiving pleasure.  To be a professional in this service one must be trained.  It is a rigorous training involving many levels the last being one-on-one training with a Master.  One women in particular goes through this training and is seen as very 'gifted.' During her last stage the Master becomes more obsessed with her and begins to devise a way where he can keep her for himself.  Is she willing to go along?  Many wonderful details to be worked out...
