Legends speak of a place where worlds collide...

Welcome to an interest check for an RP based on Heroes of the Storm! I intend this to be a free-form sandbox! Mainly the idea is for various characters, both from various Blizzard properties as well as the original settings (established or no) set forth by the in-game Nexus to get together and fight, go on adventures and mainly some other slice-of-life stuff. I don't fully intend this to be sex-oriented, but I will welcome LGBTQ players as well as a content rating of Bondage Exotic if that's what players want.

I also expect that players not take themselves too seriously; I expect them to act in-character, yes. But for those of you who've played the tutorial and constantly clicked characters (like I have), there should be room to do so while also making a silly and comedic situation out of things.

I am looking for not just players, but also GMs. I will enforce the rules as well as judge who gets to go in, but beyond that the GMs will have control over a designated in-RP realm, with an additional Realm Lord character to make their presence known. Realm Lords can either be one of the ones already in the game, or an original one altogether which will be discussed.

Rules:
-If you want to play as an underaged character younger than 16 (such as Li Li for instance), you must state the age as well as put up a (UA) stamp. Underaged characters cannot be involved in sexual scenes. This is nonnegotiable.
-Do not let sex take over the main parts of the RP - please take such scenes to private threads.
-You must send character sheets to me (Mingnon) for approval via PM - if they're meant to be designated to a particular GM-made realm, either I will pass it along or you should send it to that GM for approval as well. I will mainly check if the character fits the canon of any given setting, for pre-established characters I will check if your interpretation is consistent.
-pre-established 'canon' characters will be claimed for up till a month since the player's last post, after which they'll be released and up for grabs.
-GMs are to manage their given realm (in the form of a separate thread) once it's put up, but are free to ask me for assistance and suggestions.

Combat Rules:
Fighting will be a (hopefully) very rules-lite honor system, so that means that players are trusted with keeping track of 'ammo' for whatever uses up charges, to make dice rolls or coin flips on chance-based outcomes, and to generally play out what makes sense for the character in a situation.
That means no godmodding! Suspected cheaters will be investigated.

Character Sheets:

Available Settings:
-Warcraft
-Diablo
-Starcraft
-Overwatch
-Original: Completely new realms or ones already established in the Nexus

Combat Roles:
-Warrior: Tank or general up-front combatant
-Assassin: Melee or ranged, deals more damage than warrior but must be cautious in fights.
-Support: Mostly ranged, provides buffs and healing to allies.
-Specialist: Melee or ranged, performs feats unbound by the other three roles.

I love HotS and the blizzard universes, and especially a chance to do original stuff in that vein. I'll place my hat in the ring as a GM for you.

EdwardShane

Tentative interest.  I shall be keeping an eye on this thread and seeing how it progresses ^^

Outlaw Fallen

Also tentative interest. I need to see what characters will be appearing and such. Good idea, though, Mingnon ^.^

Appearance: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v8fr7x6xonc6zoz/Project%202_1.png?dl=0

She has involved herself in matters involving the maintaining of Falconcrest as well as its security and justice, thus giving her the title of Seneschal. She prefers to act in whatever ways she thinks will benefit the best interest of whoever is involved. However there are some rumors that state that she harbors a secret crush on the Raven Lord.
Pairing Preference: Hetero (M/F) Unlikely to engage in anything sexual though.
Ons/Offs: Link in Signature

Bio: From birth, Foilet has been dealing with a medical condition that makes her body weak, making her body appear smaller than normal for her age and making it painful to walk for long periods without some sort of assistance, the latter meaning she tends to use a combination of a wheelchair, leg braces in the form of armored greaves, and a scepter she uses as a cane in order to get around. Regardless of all of that however, she has studied hard in both magic and tactical knowledge in order to serve Falconcrest to the best of her ability. She deals in matters regarding foreign affairs and possible strategies for various situations, but will allow someone else to handle things if she believes they know better than her. She has been known to come off as eccentric or cunning at times, which comes from not having many other people than her sisters, her mage teachers and her staff to interact with in the past.

Ons/Offs: Link in signature.

Name: Grand Archduchess Sabrina Flambert
Race: Human
Title: Realm Lord of Falconcrest
Setting: Original

Powers: Superhuman strength, great control over arcane magic, telepathic control over birds

Appearance: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eizaajh6jreo444/Project%208.png?dl=0

Sabrina was that swordmaiden, and since then she and her two sisters have taken to building Falconcrest into a great nation. She herself is wholly dedicated to her realm's prosperity, and is willing to fight to see it survive. She prefers violence as a means to an end, but is willing to accomidate for those who fight for sport so long as they obey the laws.
Pairing Preference: N/A - will not be involved sexually.
Ons/Offs: N/A

Realm: Falconcrest
Theme: Fantastical French-Victorian

Points of Interest:
Farmlands - A remote set of plains dedicated to growing and raising plants and animals. Farmhouses take the partial form of windmills as the plains are often windy.
High Bridge - On the highway to Estocia is a steep chasm, with a pristine white bridge built over it several feet wide and miles long. Colorful banners flap in the wind, and there are often people found meeting halfway between Estocia and other towns.
Battle Memorial - Once the site of the battle between Sabrina and the Crow Lord, now it is a solemn, warscarred resting place located a ways into a dark forest. Towards the center of this clear field is a dark tower where the Crow Lord once took roost.

Main Locale(s):
Estocia - Falconcrest's capital city. It is gardenesque in its appeal, with various forms of plants and flowers decorated throughout. Places of interest include the palace to the northernmost part of the city, and theater and arena both near the central plaza, which is where the focal point of Falconcrest's events takes place.

Question.  If I wanted to play someone from Warcraft, such as Sylvanas, would it be required that I be overly familiar with/utilize World of Warcraft stuff?  I've never played/never will play WoW for personal reasons, but I have played the entirety of Warcraft 3 and its expansion, which she originated from, as well as quite a bit of HotS.  Thus I do feel comfortable playing as her without having played WoW if it is acceptable.

Additional question as an afterthought.  Would it be possible to kinda mix and match races and settings?  Like how Illidan has a Spectre skin for example, or how Kerrigan has a Succubus skin.

This is a great way to get more mileage out of the canon characters. Let multiple 'skins' of them exist.

Mingnon

You'd have to do some research on the character themself, I wholly welcome using the respective wikis for this. Since you claim you've played her original game, that is also accepted (Playing games where the character(s) originally came from).

Since I imagine that there are alternate realities in the Nexus where settings can mix, I will accept mixed characters as well.

Darkness brings up a good point, so I can allow 'skinned' characters :P

All right.  I'll think a bit more on this, since it opens up a lot of doors where both OCs and canons are concerned.  If I play Sylvanas, (or any other Warcraft related character for that matter) it will likely be a version from the period of time that takes place between the start of the original Warcraft game to at the end of Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne.  Otherwise, I'll probably create something Starcraft or Diablo related.

Gimme a bit to consider this, and I'll get you a character sheet at some point soon!

Name: Almedha
Race: Pandemonium Bloodseeker (Ex-Human)
Age: 302
Title: The Lost Horadrim
Setting: Diablo
Combat Role: Melee Fighter
Weapon(s): Double Bladed Sword

Abilities:
Rending Cyclone: Almedha infuses her weapon with void energy and performs a dance of death for two posts, dealing damage over time to all enemies within her vicinity and Slowing them.  She can move while using this ability, though she moves more slowly.  She cannot use other abilities while this one is active, though she is free to cancel it before its full duration passes.
Phasedash: Almedha utilizes void magic to instantly rush forward, phasing through objects and creatures in her path while traveling at incredible speed.  Enemies struck by this take moderate damage and are microstunned, causing their channeled abilities to become canceled.
Shared Pain (Toggle): Almedha uses her void magic to create an unnerving aura around herself.  While the ability is active, a portion of the damage she takes when attacked is returned to the attacker in exchange for slowly draining her mana.
Bloodseeker's Hunger (Passive): Each time Almedha inflicts any damage on a creature, she regenerates a small portion of her health over the next two posts.  Stacks up to ten times.  Damaging a 'hero' type unit applies two stacks at once.
Vengeance (Heroic 1): Almedha lunges towards her target and lashes out powerfully with void magic, inflicting damage to a single target equal to the total accumulated damage she has taken within the past three posts.  Survivors are Stunned.
Rondo of Blood (Heroic 2): Passively increases Almedha's physical damage and damage dealt by Rending Cyclone.  When activated, forcibly tears out the life energy of all enemy 'heroes' within a moderate range and absorbs it, dealing hefty damage to each and granting Almedha a Shield based on how many she hits with this ability (benefit gained is maxed out from hitting 5).  This is on top of granting her stacks of Bloodseeker's Hunger due to damaging enemy 'heroes'.

Appearance: Image 1  Image 2  Image 3 (among potential others that might be used)
Bio:
Wall o' Text
Almedha was originally a talented user of arcane might, a prodigy that grew into the era known as the Dark Exile.  The three Prime Evils had been cast out of the Burning Hells and into Sanctuary itself.  The Archangel Tyreal took it upon himself to gather mortal heroes to form an organization known as the Horadrim, with the goal of sealing away these evils into a trio of soulstones.  Almedha's group was the one that was sent to seal away Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred.  Though the group was successful in the end, the cost was heavy; many were slain in the struggle, and several of the members were swallowed into an abyss that his sheer malice had called forth in the heat of battle.  Almedha was one of those members.

It was assumed that those who fell into these depths took a very quick trip to the Burning Hells themselves, but those assumptions were false.  For better or for worse, these few individuals somehow wound up in the wastes of Pandemonium instead.  All of them had been wounded, though to varying degrees.  Almedha was somewhere in the middle ground in terms of injury severity.  They used what supplies they had on hand to patch themselves up, tried to find some semblance of shelter, and determined to try and survive as long as they could in the hopes that they could find a way back home.  At some point, they had even managed to set up a Waypoint, but to no avail; they were not able to connect it to Sanctuary.  Perhaps it would prove useful to someone in the future.

As time went by, what rations they had arrived with began to dwindle.  They managed to survive so far, and their wounds were healing nicely, but the lack of food and water was going to be a problem.  Almedha and one other set out to see what might be scavenged from this desolate land.  The primal beasts of the world were savage, and they were caught off guard by a Scavenging Tunnler while attempting to deal with a group of Scouring Chargers and Lobbers.  Almedha managed to clear a path and escape, though her friend was slain in the attempt to follow.  It was with a heavy heart that she parted ways while the beasts were distracted by both each other and the prospect of a fresh meal, taking solace in knowing that his death was at the very least a swift one.  If only all of them that had arrived in this forsaken place were so lucky.

Eventually, the remaining group had managed to be even more cautious than they already had, and managed to become skilled and crafty enough to become hunters instead of hunted.  The cost was that their group had dwindled to a number one could count on a single hand.  Surprisingly, the risk of drinking the water they found didn't seem to have any ill effects.  Or at least, not initially.  However, as the group wandered from shelter to shelter, consuming the essence of the land itself, they began to change.  The chaotic nature of this place was slowly twisting them, changing what they were.  None of their changes were identical, and in half of the cases drove them insane.  These two had to be put down, in the end.  Only Almedha and one other managed to keep their minds intact through the transformation process, though once it was complete they were both strengthened for it.  They were, however, no longer human.

The two parted ways on friendly terms, as the goal of the other remaining sane member had changed.  He no longer wished to return home, while Almedha did not wish to give up the search.  She found that, as an effect of her transformation, she was able to find nourishment from the blood of others.  While she still was capable of eating solid food and consuming water, it was no longer a necessity.  She did not realize it at the time, but the consumption of another's blood also prolonged her lifespan and youth.  In addition to this and her physique becoming more substantial, her magic had warped.  It was no longer elemental in nature, but rather something....different.  It was hard for her to put her finger on exactly what it was, but it was powerful.

Time was difficult to keep track of, as was a grasp of a spoken and written language.  She had eventually needed to start taking time each day to write words and speak them aloud to herself to simply keep the memories of how to read, write, and speak.  She eventually picked up a new weapon, a double bladed sword, and became rather skilled with it.  The denizens of Pandemonium were decent practice, indeed.  However, her previous personality was one thing that was lost.  The only thing that remained was a drive to keep living, to survive...and to find a way out of this place.  She eventually managed to find her way back to the Waypoint she and her group had initially created....a Waypoint that was, due to the Nephalem's search for Maltheal, active.  She used it without hesitation, not truly caring where she wound up.  She wound up finding her way to the Nexus, instead of Sanctuary as she had anticipated...

Pairing Preference: Any, save that she will try to avoid friendly interaction with demonkind when and where she can until or unless they prove that they do not walk a path of evil.  Will not get sexual with anyone other than the one person she claims as a mate.
Ons/Offs: It's been long enough for her that she will need to re-explore this.  Otherwise, link in my signature.

Bio:
Segment of History I plan to use
Sylvanas was a member of the prominent Windrunner family of the high elves. Her siblings were Alleria, Vereesa, and at least one other brother (Named Lirath.  There is a possible second one by the name of Sylvos). Her family lived at Windrunner Spire in the tranquil forests of Quel'Thalas. Sylvanas joined the rangers and eventually became their leader, rising to the rank of Ranger-General of Silvermoon, military leader of all high elven forces.

During the Second War, the high elves initially sent only token support to the Alliance, though Sylvanas' older sister, Alleria, took her squad of rangers as well. Soon after, the forests of Quel'Thalas mysteriously began to burn. Sylvanas and her rangers set out to discover the cause when she came across both her sisters being chased by a band of forest trolls, whom they dispatched quickly. Alleria alerted Sylvanas of the coming orcish Horde, and that it was they who were burning Quel'Thalas with dragon fire. Sylvanas and her rangers moved quickly to meet the Horde and trap them between themselves and the Alliance forces under the command of the paladin, Turalyon. The battle took many turns but ultimately the Horde abandoned Quel'Thalas. Sylvanas stayed behind to hunt down any remaining orcs. Shortly after, the Horde was defeated, the Dark Portal was destroyed, and the Second War had ended.

After the high elves withdrew from the Alliance, Sylvanas and her Rangers were the primary guard against any would-be attackers on Silvermoon. Despite the odd forest troll, murloc, or gnoll every now and then, Sylvanas saw little action, and a peaceful tranquillity had descended upon the forests. She remained, however, ever vigilant, knowing that this peace— however refreshing —was tenuous at best.

Her fears were soon realized when Arthas, the betrayer of Lordaeron, arrived unexpectedly on the doorstep of Quel'Thalas with a horde of undead at his back. He began to attack outlying villages and immediately, Sylvanas and her Ranger Corps moved against him. His superior numbers and tireless warriors always kept her in a state of retreat.

Arthas continued relentlessly towards the Elfgate, killing every elf who got in his way. Finally, despite Sylvanas' best efforts, he breached the Outer Elfgate. Sylvanas ordered the corps to immediately fall back to the Inner Gate, which was only passable with the use of the Key of the Three Moons, assembled from the Mooncrystals hidden within the forest. Sylvanas destroyed the bridge leading to the Inner Gate to stay his advances. Despite her valiant efforts, Arthas managed to recover the Key of the Three Moons and destroyed the Inner Elfgate. Nothing stood in his way to Silvermoon.

Sylvanas gathered her forces and went to warn Silvermoon, but Arthas blocked her passage at every turn, and murdered every runner she tried to get through. Sylvanas continued the resistance, but eventually, she was targeted directly. Arthas's army overran her base of operations and the death knight singled her out in the heat of battle. The two duelled each other, and Sylvanas was cut down.

The official story given by the high elves of Silvermoon had the Ranger-General having perished valiantly in battle against the undead Scourge in the defense of Quel'Thalas, and her body being burned to ashes in the fire that had devastated half the capital.

The true story was quite different. Sylvanas was not killed, but rather captured. Barely clinging to life, Sylvanas Windrunner was brought before Arthas. She protested, saying she deserved a clean death, but Arthas, having had to fight her every step of the way, responded by telling her after what she had put him through, the last thing he would give her was the peace of death. He desecrated her spirit, corrupting her body and soul, and brought her back as a whirlwind of torment and hatred. Thus, Sylvanas Windrunner became the first of the high elven banshees. Sylvanas, now an undead banshee, was a complete and total slave of the Lich King. In her undeath, she aided Arthas in his assault against her own beloved Silvermoon in order to secure the legendary Sunwell for the Scourge. Her mangled body was sealed in an iron coffin by Arthas, as a way to further torture the ranger.

Sylvanas became one of Arthas' primary generals, and she remained behind in Lordaeron with Kel'Thuzad under the watchful eye of the dreadlords, who had been left stationed in Lordaeron to protect it in the name of the Legion. When Archimonde was defeated at the Battle of Mount Hyjal, Sylvanas would quickly learn of this news from Kel'Thuzad. As the months passed, the dreadlords were still ignorant of their masters' defeat. Varimathras, Detheroc and Balnazzar, the three prime dreadlords overseeing Lordaeron, were convening under Sylvanas' undead watchful eyes when Arthas stormed into the stronghold, fresh from his journey to Kalimdor. He informed them of the Legion's failure and his intentions to take control of the Scourge. The dreadlords fled, outraged but unwilling to risk their lives by battling the new King of Lordaeron.

Arthas approached his servants, and ordered that Lordaeron be purged of all life as a tribute to Ner'zhul. Kel'Thuzad, however, informed him that human refugees had begun to flee from the outer villages, and that, should they escape into the mountain passes, they would be impossible to track. Arthas stationed himself and his two generals on the three possible escape routes and they each led detachments of undead troops against the fleeing humans, while taking great pains to ensure that few, if any, made it past their blockade to safety. Despite the efforts of the paladin Dagren the Orcslayer and his companions, Sylvanas led her banshees into battle against the human refugees, aided in the destruction of all the remaining villages in her area, and slaughtered any human trying to escape. Finally, Sylvanas, Arthas, and Kel'Thuzad arrived at the central headquarters of the paladins and killed them all in a vicious battle, annihilating the last of the civilian presence in Lordaeron.

Around this point, the weakened Ner'zhul began to lose control of the minds of Sylvanas and a number of banshees. She kept this discovery from Arthas and Kel'Thuzad while continuing to serve. The dreadlords contacted Sylvanas and explained that they knew the cause, and arranged a secret meeting with her. They told her that Ner'zhul's— and by extension Arthas' —powers were beginning to diminish. The nathrezim intended to use this opportunity to seize control of Lordaeron. Sylvanas tentatively agreed to assist, but under the condition that her aid would be provided on her own terms.

The dreadlords planned on killing Arthas within the capital, but Sylvanas created a contingency plan in the case of Arthas' escape. She arranged for her banshees to feign allegiance and escort him to a place in the woods where she would be waiting for him. After Arthas survived the dreadlords' ambush and escaped the capital, Sylvanas' loyal sisters saw him to the arranged place, and then killed his bodyguards.

Sylvanas had, at this point, succeeded in using her abilities as a banshee to repossess the body that belonged to her in life. Sylvanas was now a corporeal undead creature. Hiding in the shadows, she struck him with an arrow she had crafted— a venomous sting that would paralyze him. Arthas was furious at her betrayal, and demanded that she finish him. But Sylvanas refused to show him the mercy of a quick death and intended to make him suffer— as he had made her suffer in undeath. She was about to begin her grisly work when Kel'Thuzad arrived and intervened, killing her banshees and chasing her off. In her physical body, she realized that the natural world would never respond to her wishes again. Angered by this development, she turned to the arts that were becoming more and more natural to her: necromancy. She then altered her elven ranger teachings into a new form. Thus the dark rangers were born

Arthas left for Northrend, having been summoned by the Lich King, and Kel'Thuzad went into hiding. Sylvanas and her sisters were freed, but Sylvanas was still troubled. Though free from Ner'zhul, she and the other free-willed loyalists remained monstrous abominations in appearance.

Her thoughts were interrupted as Varimathras arrived on the scene. The dreadlord invited the banshee to join him and his brothers in their new order. But Sylvanas was not so quick to relinquish what freedom she had just gained. She told him that her assistance was enough, and demanded to be left alone. Varimathras ominously warned that those who were not part of this new land would be cast aside, and that she had best not vex the new rulers of the Plaguelands. Sylvanas was adamant. As Varimathras departed, Sylvanas knew that an attack was imminent. But with only her banshees and some lesser undead to serve her, Sylvanas was certain that she would soon fall. She needed to acquire an army.

Scouting the outer wilderness, Sylvanas found a plethora of creatures who would serve her well, and with her banshees at her disposal, they would have little choice in the matter. She sent out her banshees to possess Mug'thol, the leader of the local ogres, the Bandit Lord, Blackthorn, the gnoll ruler, Snarlmane, and the Murloc Puddle Lord. Those she did not possess were killed. With so many new allies, Varimathras was quick to fall before her. But after she defeated him, Varimathras begged for his life, saying that he could serve her well. He knew his brothers' tactics, and where their bases were located. Sylvanas knew trusting such an insidious creature was a risk, but felt that she could control him enough for her purposes. With Varimathras' assistance, they moved against Detheroc's forces.

Detheroc had acquired a human puppet, Garithos, and his men, and was using them to protect himself. Sylvanas had his scouts possessed, and then infiltrated his base while their guard was down. As they slept, Sylvanas swept through the twin bases and slaughtered any before her. Though they eventually awoke and raised the alarm, it was too late. Sylvanas disabled the humans and ravaged Detheroc's forces, eventually coming to the dreadlord himself, and killing him swiftly. With the dreadlord dead, Garithos was freed from his mental control. Sylvanas saw him as arrogant and foolish, but felt that she could use him. She lied and promised to relinquish control of the Capital to him if he helped her kill Balnazzar.

Garithos attacked from the rear entrance to the city as Sylvanas and Varimathras came from the front. As they moved into the city, Sylvanas found caches of items left by the Lordaeron royals, and used them to further the assault. Despite the dreadlord's demonic allies, his forces were destroyed, and, as a final test of loyalty, Sylvanas demanded that Varimathras kill Balnazzar. Varimathras froze, saying that it was forbidden for one Nathrezim to kill another. But she required Varimathras to prove his loyalty to her. Varimathras obeyed, and struck down Balnazzar. However, whether by accident or design, Balnazzar survived, later re-emerging as a leader of the Scarlet Crusade. Varimathras was not so reluctant when Sylvanas ordered him to do the same to Garithos.

With all their enemies dead, Sylvanas made a proclamation to Varimathras. They would rule the Plaguelands as the Forsaken, and would stake out their own destiny, where none would get in their way.

Pairing Preference: Any except Arthas.
Ons/Offs: Will be explored if/when someone breaks past the metaphorical walls she has set up, and can also get past the fact that she's an animated corpse and might not have such an easy time feeling any form of physical sensation.  Otherwise, link is in my signature.

Is this still a thing? It seems quite interesting:) I play lots of HoTS, especially as Nova (wearing Kerrigan skin :P) and Jaina. I'm also aware of many of the abilities.....can we mix and match them? or do they have to stay cannon?

Also curious if this runs as an endless serious of matches:P. or an RPG with an end goal?

To my understanding, (and keep in mind I am not a GM, but am merely answering to the best of my ability and knowledge) as a sandbox RP there could be any number of matches, but the intention is that it also explores the lives of the characters when they're not duking it out on the myriad of battlegrounds within the Nexus.  So there could be any number of sidequests among various worlds, arguments between individuals, friendship and/or lover explorations, etc etc as well.  I'm admittedly kinda hoping someone makes Tyrael, just because it might be interesting to see his reaction to meeting up with one of his original Horadrim again and how it plays out after that as an example of a plotline that could be explored.

As for the abilities, you could maybe try altering what's portrayed in the game?  It never hurts to run the idea by the person approving the chars after all.  The worst Mingnon can say is no!  I was tempted to try and figure out an alternate Heroic for Sylvanas aside from Possession admittedly. (as I never see it being used like...ever, truth be told.  Wailing Arrow is too good in comparison)  I just wound up deciding not to in the end.  If you try to run it by the creator though, I suggest making it something that would at least canonically make sense for the character to have.

Mingnon

The default skin would have to have the original abilities, but as I've approved of alternate skins, you could have alternate takes on the characters with different abilities. :)

And it's still going, I am currently still waiting on more approved characters before I start it off.

Well, that's acceptable, but you should give her the title Dominion Ghost if you want to stay true to the game. And next character you should PM me the sheet >.>;

Name: Nova Terra
Race: Human Psionic
Title: Agent X41822N (Dominion Ghost)
Setting: Starcraft
Combat Role: Ranged Assassin
Weapon(s): C-20A Sniper Rifle

Abilities:
1: Snipe - Deals heavy damage to first target hit, and diminishing damage to enemies in a line behind. 4 post cool-down, longer if moving.
2: Disrupting Shot - Deals light damage to a target, but can have a variety of effects depending on where it hits. Can cause slow if aimed at legs, attack speed penalty if targeting weapon, or silence on a random normal ability if aimed at utility.
3: Decoy - Deploys one decoy at target location and one decoy where she is located. Deals no weapon damage, but can cause physical obstruction. Using Decoy does not break cloak.
(Passive): Cloak - If not attacked or attacking for at least 2 post, she becomes invisible. Can malfunction under certain conditions. Will decloak if caught in AOE attacks, using 1st or second ability, or heroic abilities.
(Heroic 1): Triple Tap - after a short targeting delay, fires three homing rounds at a single target at long range, each dealing significant damage. Slow moving, can be blocked by other heroes, or diving behind significantly thick cover (a simple wall won't do it!).
(Heroic 2): Mind Blast - Nova releases her psionic energy in an expanding blast around her in a medium radius. Deals medium damage and disorients all heroes and minions. However, breaks cloak for 6 posts, unable to use abilities for 3 posts, light damage to Nova, slows nova for 1 post. (This is the 'oh crap run' ability!)

Bio: Nova's backstory is a long and convoluted one, though the recent past is the most relevant. As a person she believes in fair play, usually opting not to kill a downed opponent if he or she is not the target of interest. However, as an assassin and Dominion Ghost she is ruthless, stopping at nothing to achieve her objectives. Usually assassins and snipers never like to be seen at all. Nova's decoys however are seen all the time, often making alert bodyguards and targets hesitate for a split second, unsure if they should waste ammunition on a possible hologram. Those who open fire, waste their time. Those who don't usually get shot back. Once.

Story Split options:
(Raynor Helps Nova): Nova had not forgotten the help she got from Raynor's Raiders to foil Tosh's Jailbreak. While she did not actively take part in his revolution, she consciously avoided missions likely to bring his men into her crosshairs. As such, she also did not rush to to stop Kerrigan breaking him out of jail. While officially Nova and Raynor's raiders are enemies, she is not openly seeking their destruction.

(Raynor Helps Tosh): Nova had not forgotten how Raynor's Raiders had broken New Fulsome open, releasing many of the Dominion's most dangerous criminals loose on the galaxy. A great deal of her subsequent missions were to hunt down and kill said criminals, ending with her capture of the Marshal himself. Her mood didn't improve however when Kerrigan broke him free soon after.
Pairing Preference: Any Loud Big Tank that enjoys drawing fire. Raynor, Tychus, Sgt Hammer.
