If you are an unapproved member...


Unapproved members cannot post in the One and One/Solo Roleplays Wanted or Group Roleplays Wanted forums, and can neither request nor participate in roleplays containing adult content. If you wish to coordinate a non-adult roleplay with another member, please do so in the Non-Adult Roleplay Requests forum.

To Request Roleplays over IMs, IRC, and/or virtual tabletop...


Please make your roleplay requests in the appropriate request board:

For one-on-one roleplays occurring on Elliquiy's forums only, use One and One/Solo Roleplays Wanted.

For group roleplay requests, please use the Group Roleplays Wanted forum.

For non-adult roleplays, please use the Non-Adult Roleplay Requests forum.

For off-site roleplays taking place over an instant messenger or another medium such as other forums, virtual tabletop (OpenRPG, etc.), and IRC, please use the Non-Forum Roleplay Requests forum.


No Explicit Images In Posts


If an image displays genitalia, you may link to it if you tag or label it as not safe for work (nsfw) appropriately.

Elliquiy staff reserves the right to request and enforce the removal of inappropriate images.


NO BUMPING Before One Month


Here at Elliquiy, we frown on the bumping cultures often found on other RP sites. Bumping something to the top is no more likely to get you a response than just letting it stay in its natural space on the page, and it's unfairly moving newer RP requests down the page. We will however tolerate bumps of threads where there has been more than one month since the last substantive post. A substantive post is a post that introduces a new idea of some sort to the thread, whereas a bump isn't.

Non-substantive posts made before the one-month limit will be deleted without warning. This includes posts that say simply "Updated!" or "Bump!" or "I have some free time!". In order to avoid getting your update posts deleted, the best format to use is "updated with _____" and list your specific updates. Staff does not have much time and if your post looks like a needless bump it will be deleted.

If you make more than two-such bumps in a row with no indication that anyone has taken any of your role-play ideas, staff may instead lock the thread or remove the bump and instead suggest that you rework your request thread first before bumping it again, in order to draw more attention to it. This is a service to you - allowing unreadable threads to be repeatedly bumped helps no one. If you are having difficulty finding roleplays, feel free to ask for help in the Help! Forum.

Stuff that will not be considered bumps:

• Posting that a certain roleplay idea has been taken.
• Posting that a certain roleplay idea has been added.
• Answering questions in your thread.

No Personal Contact Details Allowed


Keep in mind that personal contact details are not allowed in the public forums:
Any such personal contact details, including IMs, are not allowed in the public areas of Elliquiy. These areas include the shoutbox and the public boards. If you wish to make your IMs available, please do so in your profile's forum profile settings:
