ANGELA needs back up.

I have just received a application for Rogue too.

So I was thinking, could we have a team help her out who are hidden within HULKLAND.

Cap America, Rogue, Scarlet Witch (who I presume Alixandre is going with) and Vision. Alixandre have you found us a lovely Vision player?

That would be AMAZING.

Batman4560

I'll be getting a Cap post up for Angela today.

Face Claim

History: Rogue's parents, Owen and Priscilla, married early in their relationship and lived together in an alternative back-to-nature community in rural Caldecott County (Mississippi). The community's failed attempt to reach the Far Banks (native American spirit / dream world) resulted in Rogue's mother disappearing into the Far Banks. Presuming her sister dead, Priscilla's sister Carrie took Rogue in and raised her as a strict and authoritarian mother.

This, along with Rogue's poor relationship with her father Owen, caused her to run away from home at a young age. Her only close friend through childhood was Cody Robbins; until she kissed him and put him into a coma. (He was later killed in a failed attempt to kill Rogue perpetrated by Bella Donna Boudreaux.)

Not long after the emerging of her powers, Rogue was approached by Mystique. Mystique adopted Rogue as a daughter warping her loneliness, envy of others, bitterness, and despair into anger, and recruiting her to join the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. It was during her tenure with the Brotherhood that Rogue encountered and combated Carol Danvers and was able to absorb enough of the heroine's powers to permanently retain them; as well as Carol's memories and much of the other girl's personality.

Rogue continued to work with the Brotherhood of Evil mutants through several more incidents, and quick rose to one of its primary members alongside Mystique and Destiny, however due to having absorbed so much of Carol Danvers's memories and personality Rogue was able to 'remember' Carol's (comparatively) normal childhood, and through her eyes recognize the wrongness of her own actions.

In the hope of preventing her true self from being subsumed by the memories she absorbed, Rogue eventually sought out Charles Xavier and the X-men. While Xavier himself welcomed Rogue, the X-men themselves were initially resistant; Carol Danvers, as the cosmically-powered Binary, attacked Rogue on sight, while the X-men themselves simply threatened to abandon Xavier if Rogue were allowed to stay at the Xavier Mansion.

Despite their protests, the X-men each came to respect and trust Rogue in their own way, and after Mystique attacked the X-men in an attempt to 'rescue' Rogue she made it clear that she was there to stay.
Powers:
Rogue is a mutant.

  • Power Absorption
    • Rogue can absorb the powers, energies, memories, knowledge, talents, personalities and physical abilities (whether superhuman or not) of other human beings (or members of some sentient alien races) through physical contact of her skin with the skin of the other person. For the transfer of abilities to be accomplished, Rogue's skin must contact the skin of her victim.
    • She is not limited to absorbing superhuman abilities: for example, she has absorbed the strength, agility, and sharp reflexes of an enhanced human. She can also absorb psionic abilities. In absorbing another person's memories Rogue also gains the emotional responses connected to them.
    • No upper limit has yet been determined for the number of superhuman beings whose power she can maintain simultaneously, or for the amount of power that she can absorb.
    • Those touched are rendered unconscious by contact with her, though some beings, such as Juggernaut and Mojo have resisted this effect.
    • Rogue can only absorb abilities and memories from living organic beings.
    • The absorption is typically temporary, lasting for a period of time relative to how long contact is maintained, but the transfer may become permanent in certain cases.
    • Rogue's power can be lethal.
    • There is a risk of an absorbed personality overwhelming Rogue's and taking control of her body, and even when Rogue remains in control echoes of absorbed personalities remain within her mind.
    • Absorbing the mentalities and abilities of several beings at once can be confusing and disorienting.
  • Carol Danvers's Powers
    • Super Strength
    • Super Speed / Flight
    • Super Stamina
    • Near-Invulnerability
    • Danger Sense
  • Telepathic Resistance
Rogue possesses a significant shard of Ms. Marvel's psyche and retrains echoes of, to a greater or lesser extent, every mind she has ever absorbed. This makes her mind extremely difficult to probe even for the most talented telepaths or powerful mind readers.
Abilities:
Rogue absorbs the skills of those she touches along with their superhuman abilities.

  • Carol Danvers's Abilities
    • Satisfactory Spy
Rogue has absorbed the skills and experiences of Carol Danvers's espionage career, and while she is not as practiced as the original she is capable of most of what the original is / was.
    • Multilingual
Rogue speaks fluent French. In addition she is capable of absorbing the language-speaking ability of others along with their other traits.
    • Passable Pilot
Rogue has absorbed the skills and experiences of Carol Danvers, among them the ability and knowledge required to pilot a variety of aircraft; however Rogue has no practical first-hand experience as a pilot (aside from the occasional emergency aboard the Blackbird) and is no one's first choice.

Weaknesses

  • Power Overwhelming
While Rogue's body as no known upper limit for the amount of power or abilities it can store, Rogue's mind can only handle so much and the effort required to control vast amounts of power, either literal or metaphorical, can, and indeed often is, beyond Rogue's capabilities.
  • Inexperience
While Rogue is capable of absorbing the abilities and experiences of other beings, she is not always prepared for the nuances of possessing those abilities and it can be difficult for her to manipulate or control a new power.
Equipment: Rogue does not carry any notable equipment with her, however she is capable of utilizing the equipment of any being she has recently absorbed.

PhantomPistoleer

    Character Name: Gambit
    Played By: Phantom Pistoleer
    Real Name: Remy LeBeau
    Age: Early 30s
    Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
    Height: 6'1
    Weight: 180lbs
    Affiliation: X-Men, X-Factor, Thieves' Guild
    Face Claim: Tatum Channing

    Appearance:

    CostumeFace Claim

    History:  [See Wikipedia Article]

    Powers:

    • Molecular Acceleration: Remy has the power to take the potential energy stored in an object and convert it to kinetic energy thus “charging” that item with explosive results. He prefers to charge smaller objects, such as his ever-present playing cards, as the time required to charge them is greatly reduced and they are much easier for him to throw. The only real limitation to this ability is the time required to charge the object. The larger it is the more time it takes. He can charge a rock as big as a small house in the matter of seconds. Most charging takes place through direct skin contact. The power of his explosions is dependent on the mass of the object he is charging, for example, a charged playing card explodes with the force of a grenade. Gambit can also use his powers to accelerate an object's kinetic energy instead of converting its potential energy, for example, he can charge his bo staff with enough power to level a house.
    • Enhanced Agility: Gambit's ability to tap energy also grants him superhuman agility and dexterity which gives him an added edge he has used to his advantage by developing a unique acrobatic fighting style.
    • Static Interference: Creates natural static, because of the charged potential energy always in his body, that shields his mind from intrusion by telepaths. Can increase the effect by holding a charged object near his head. Although reportedly uncomfortable for the parties involved, this shield does not totally prevent telepathic invasion.

    Abilities:

    • Bilingual: He is fluent in English and Cajun French. He also knows some Japanese (not very fluent).
    • Expert Marksman: He is extremely skilled in throwing small objects such as cards, bolas, knives, and balls with great accuracy.
    • Master Combatant: Though not on the same level as the likes of Captain America, he is still a profound fighter, often employing martial arts, street fighting, and acrobatics. He is well adept in the martial arts Savate (French kickboxing), and Bojutsu, the art of using a Bo staff. Nick Fury even referred to Gambit as "One of the best hand to hand fighters I've ever seen".
    • Master Thief

    Weaknesses
    • Light Sensitivity:Gambit's eyes are extremely sensitive to light.

    Equipment:
    • Weapons:
Gambit carries an unbreakable, telescoping bo staff is easy to hide and packs a punch to boot.  Additionally, Gambit carries an assortment of cards.

    Personality:
Gambit is charming and easy-going.  He enjoys to spend time with beautiful women.

    Known Enemies:  Mister Sinister, Sabretooth[/list]
    Always seeking 5E games.

      Superhero/villain: Magneto
      Real Name: Max Eisenhart
      Age: 88
      Sexual Orientation: Straight
      Base of Operations: Genosha
      Powers:

      Powers & Weaknesses

Magneto is an Alpha-mutant, and has been stated on several occasions to have been one of the most powerful mutants.

      The Master of Magnetism
      • Magnetokinesis: Magneto has comprehensive control over all forms of magnetism and utilizes that control to manipulate ferrous metals and achieve a variety of effects. He recently proved able to effectively hold together the headless form of a Celestial. Magneto can manipulate an entire planet's electromagnetic field and once even pulled back the giant metallic 'bullet' where Kitty Pryde was trapped inside which was at least a few light years away from Earth, though these are a tasks that requires great effort on his part. Magneto has harnessed magnetism to stop armies, raise islands from ocean floors, move mountains, change the course of rivers, and threaten to devastate the world with floods and earthquakes. Magneto once blanketed the entire globe with a self-generated electromagnetic pulse that caused widespread devastation. Moreover, he can use his magnetic powers in more than one way simultaneously. He can completely assemble a complicated machine within seconds through his powers. It is unclear whether Magneto's power is psionic or purely physiological in nature.

      • Magnetic Force-Fields: Magneto usually protects himself with a personal force field that he can quickly expand to protect large areas. His force field has withstood the effects of multiple nuclear weapons, volcanic eruptions, the depths of space and attacks from multiple Avengers or X-Men. Magneto can also use his force fields to hit or trap an enemy, and also levitate objects and beings in the air.
      • Magnetic Armor: In addition to the obvious external force fields, Magneto can reinforce the metallic fibers of his uniform with magnetic fields, making his clothing like armor with a durability approaching adamantium. He can resist punches from superhumanly strong foes such as Namor or Colossus and remain conscious.
      • Magnetic Rays: Magneto has the ability to shoot powerful rays and electromagnetic pulses, and has shown this ability to destroy both metallic and nonmetallic objects. Magneto can also use this ability to seriously injure his enemies as he did with Storm.
      • Magnetic Flight: Magneto is also capable of sustaining flight for very long distances and at varying speeds. He apparently has several means by which he achieves flight, one of which is by riding along the planet's natural magnetic lines of force, another by simply creating a repulsive force between himself and the planet, propelling himself thus. However, in order to travel in space, Magneto requires and is limited by the interior capacity of his force field to breathe.
      • Geomagnetic Link: Magneto is tied very closely to Earth's EM Field. As it is effected, so is he. He knows instinctively all that happens to it.
      • Gravity Reduction: Magneto's control over the magnetic and electromagnetic force is so refined that he can shut off gravity within a limited radius of himself by reversing the polarity of the earth's own magnetic field.
      • Metal/Matter Manipulation: Magneto can manipulate metal at the atomic level and make it take different forms. Magneto also demonstrated the ability to indirectly manipulate non-metallic objects via metal ores they may contain, for example the huge island that Magneto levitated due to iron ore that were therein. Magneto is also capable of creating powerful electromagnetic fields capable of levitating nonmetallic objects, he can also do this via force fields.
      • Metallic Bonding: Magneto has recently displayed the power to atomically bond metallic substances. This newly developed technique allows Magneto to blend metallic alloys with earth, water, and air.
      • Organic Iron Manipulation: Magneto can control the traces of iron within organic matter and can manipulate the iron-enriched blood-flow to one's brain to potentially induce very limited effects. There are only 2.5 grams of iron in the bloodstream of a healthy human body and perhaps a gram at most in the rest of the body. As a reference, a penny weighs 2.5 grams. Magneto has used his magnetic abilities to extract the Adamantium bonded to Wolverine's skeletal structure.
      • Electromagnetic Sight: By concentrating, Magneto can perceive the world around himself as patterns of magnetic and electrical energy. He can perceive the natural electromagnetic auras given off by living beings.
      • Electromagnetic Spectrum Manipulation: Although Magneto's primary power is magnetism, he can also project or manipulate any form of energy within the electromagnetic spectrum, though this is extremely tiring for him so he primarily sticks to magnetism. He can potentially shoot and absorb bolts of electricity and other forms of electromagnetic radiation or energy, create intense heat as infrared radiation, and become invisible by deflecting visible light around his body. Infrared radiation is part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which also includes visible light, radio waves, ultraviolet light, gamma rays, and x-rays -- Magneto can project any of these to some extent, though doing so would dramatically tire him.
      • Telepathic Resistance: Magneto has trained himself extensively for fighting telepaths, and is resistant to telepathic attack. This training is similar to that given to the X-Men and New Mutants by Professor X, although the effects are further augmented with the aid of his helmet (see below), his strong will and his own electromagnetic powers.

        Skills
        • Genius-level Intellect: A mastermind, Magneto is a genius in various scientific fields. He is an expert in genetic engineering and mutation, with knowledge easily on par with contemporary experts in the same fields. He has created artificial living beings, mutated humans in order to give them superhuman powers, instilled genetic mind-control, created adult clones of human beings and manipulated the genetic structures of those clones during their development. His discoveries in particle physics would revolutionize the field and place him among the giants of scientific history if they were to be revealed. He has designed magnetically-powered aircraft and spacecraft, space stations, an underground complex said to be a masterpiece of automated technology that would do Tony Stark or Reed Richards proud, complex robots and computers, magnetically-powered generators, and machines capable of nullifying mutant powers within a radius of several miles.

        • Military Training: Magneto has more than a rudimentary knowledge of hand-to-hand combat.

        • Excellent Strategist: Magneto is an excellent strategist, tactician, and skilled leader.

        • Multilingual: Magneto is fluent in English, French, Polish, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Ukrainian, German, and Yiddish.

        • Indomitable Will: Magneto will strive to complete his tasks, no matter what it takes.

          Weaknesses
          • Physical Condition: Magneto's ability to wield his superhuman powers effectively is dependent upon his physical condition. When severely injured, his body is unable to withstand the strain of manipulating magnetic energy. When his powers are not at their peak, he also appears to have greater difficulty utilizing his magnetism for great feats. He is also susceptible to physical and mental fatigue that can ultimately affect his ability to adequately use his powers, especially if he overuses or extends them in a short amount of time.

          History:

          Activity:
Knowing this scenario would not be resolved quickly, Magneto retreated to the ruins of Genosha. He has spent two years biding his time, primarily developing a new machine to rejuvenate his body. Now that he is in his physical prime once more, the Master of Magnetism makes his move!

          Equipment:
          • Magneto's Helmet: Magneto's helmet is built to shield his mind from psychic probes and manipulation.
          • Armor: The costume that Magneto wears is actually a type of armor that he has created through the use of his magnetic powers. The costume is actually an amalgam of various lightweight, but highly durable, metallic alloys that further protect him from physical injury. He can also use different metals surrounding him to enhance his armor, making it as strong as Tony Stark's Iron Man Armor.

          #112
          Player Name: Alixandre
          Real Name: Natalia Alianova Romanova
Currently Employed Aliases: The Black Widow, "The Spy", Natasha Romanoff, affectionately – “Nat”
          Height: 5'7
          Weight: 131lbs
Age: Her birthdate is unconfirmed, but is thought to be around 1928
          Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
          Affiliation: The Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D., K.G.B.
Base of Operations: Current Whereabouts Unknown
          Powers and Abilities:
Like Captain America, Natalia was partnered with a kind of Super Soldier Serum – not as potent, but still enough to morph her natural abilities to just under a superhuman level but far above what the average woman could hope to achieve. Due to her Red Room training and constant brainwashing by the KGB, her Super Serum has augmented different abilities when compared to the ones gained by Captain America.

Superhuman Agility – Natalia was trained as ballerina as part of her original cover. While she not necessarily as strong as most of the company she keeps, she makes up for this deficiency by being light and quick on her feet, and able to move in that graceful way only dancers manage.

Superhuman Beauty – As part of the Super Soldier Serum, Natalia does not physically age. Coupled with her stellar disguise abilities, Natalia’s beauty and her ability to morph it is unmatched in the espionage world.

Superhuman Lifespan - Like Captain America, Natalia does not look a day older than the day her government-ordered experimentations began. This is not only a physical attribute, but is evident in her body’s state of youthful perfection.

Superhuman Stamina – It’s a difficult task to tire Natalia out.

Superhuman Immune System – The common cold is no worry to Natalia, but the extent of her Serum-gifted immune system has yet to be completely tested.

          The Super Spy Kit
Escape Artistry and Infiltration – Natalia’s colorful career demanded that she not only move into dangerous places undetected, but be able to pull herself out of them. Her trails are difficult to pick up, difficult to follow, and even more difficult to replicate.

Intelligence – Natalia has worn a few professional masks: spy, organization/team leader, fashion designer, homemaker. She is a college graduate and was an early graduate of the Russian-produced Black Widow Program. Natalia is also a very talented linguist - both organically speaking and technologically speaking. Natalia is arguably the best Human infomation broker.

Unarmed Combat – Trained by Wolverine and Captain America, Natalia’s diminutive form packs a very powerful punch.

Weapons Master – Natalia is trained on a variety of weapons and has shown expertise in most of them. She does not favor short range over long range, but does carry her favorite toys on her person.

Weaknesses: Natalia may be a Super-Serum-imbued Spy, but she is Human.

History: A relic from a bygone age, Natalia is the quintessential spy. Beautiful, smart, and an orphan, she is picked out by Russian Intelligence early in her life and put into The Black Widow program. She eventually comes into the service of the KGB and is sent on various missions to infiltrate Stark Industries and SHIELD. Natalia chooses to defect to SHIELD and served as a double agent in the KGB for a while, but chooses to join The Avengers - a group she isn't completely sure of because the spy lethally lives up to her name.

Within The Avengers, Natalia put her skills to great use and was linked romantically to Captain America on more than one quiet occasion.

At the outbreak of the war, she was on assignment for SHIELD when Loki made his move against the President and the remnants of the intelligence organization have been unable to confirm that Agent Romanoff survived the attack - she is MIA or KIA, depending on who is asking.

Activity: Recent activity unknown. There have been rumors, however, that a woman going by the moniker of “The Spy” has been trading information through The President’s Quarter in exchange for confirmable sightings of Captain America. No one has been able to lay eyes on "The Spy" and their base is rumored to be one of many major cities throughout the country.

          Equipment:
          The Suit

The skintight, black uniform that Natalia wears is made of a high-tech synthetic fabric that is resistant to extreme temperatures and even small-arms fire. It is further enhanced with tiny suction cups that allow her to cling to walls and ceilings.

Also on her uniform is the weapon known as the “Widow’s Bite”. The sometimes yellow, bracelet-like cuffs around her wrists that are capable of disabling superhumans at a short distance with voltage up to 30,000. They respond to muscle movements in her wrists.

          The Accessories

Natalia is a toybox. On her person, she is usually equipped with the most up-to-date spy gadgets including stunners, tear-gas, cables and transmittera. Hidden in her suit is a small, collapsable grappling hook and retractable line - affectionately dubbed the "Widow's Line". She also carries various types of weapons, ranging from melee to long distance.

          Player Name: aorangi3
          Superhero/villain: Wolverine
          Real Name: James "Logan" Howlett
          Age: Unknown
          Sexual Orientation: Straight
          Base of Operations: TBA
          Powers:
Regenerative Healing Factor: Wolverine's primary mutant power is an accelerated healing process that enables him to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater efficiency than an ordinary human. He can regenerate greatly damaged or destroyed tissue with few seconds. Wolverine's accelerated healing powers have been commonly referred to as his mutant healing factor. The full extent and speed of Wolverine's healing factor isn't known. He has been shown to fully heal from numerous gunshot wounds, severe burns covering most of his body, and regenerate missing eyes within a matter of seconds. Among the more extreme depictions of his accelerated healing factor involves him having his skin, muscles, and internal organs incinerated from his skeleton only to fully regenerate the tissue within minutes. Adamantium plays a crucial role in the speed of Wolverine's healing as well because of the fact that it produces a poison that his immune system fights off regularly. It is said that without the adamantium, his healing rate increases. This power even amends psychological wounds inflicted as a result of traumatic experiences. However, Wolverine's healing powers force his mind to suppress the memories, sometimes resulting in amnesia. Wolverine sometimes calls this his mental scar tissue. Wolverine's healing factor has cured him from the mystical curse of the Werewolf after he had been bitten and turned into a werewolf and from vampirism; though it should be noted that the time it took to cure the Werewolf curse was longer than the time it took to cure him from vampirism, when he was infected with vampirism he had also been infected with nanites to temporarily deactivate his healing factor and use him as a 'booby-trap' on the vampires.

Contaminant Immunity: Wolverine's natural healing also affords him the virtual immunity to poisons and most drugs, except in massive doses. For example, it is extremely difficult for him to become intoxicated from alcohol. S.H.I.E.L.D. once managed to keep Wolverine anesthetized by constantly pumping eighty milliliters of anesthetic a minute into his system.

Disease Immunity: Wolverine's highly efficient immune system, which is part of his accelerated healing factor, renders him immune against all known Earthly diseases and infections.

Delayed Aging: In addition, Wolverine's healing factor provides him with an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process. Wolverine was born sometime during the late 19th Century. Although well over 100 years of age, Wolverine retains the health, appearance and physical vitality of a man in the physical prime of his life.

Psionic Resistance: Due to a combination of his healing factor[citation needed] and Level 9 psi-shields implanted by Professor Charles Xavier, Wolverine's mind is highly resistant to telepathic assault and probing.
Super Condition: Wolverine's healing factor also affects a number of his physical attributes by increasing them to superhuman levels.
Superhuman Strength: Wolverine's mutant healing factor enables him to push his muscles beyond the natural limits of the human body without injury, granting him some degree of superhuman strength.
Superhuman Stamina: Wolverine's mutant healing factor grants him high immunity against lactic acid and other fatigue toxins generated by his muscles during physical activity. Wolverine can sustain himself at peak capacity for several days. Wolverine has shown himself capable of fighting Arkady Rossovich (Omega Red) for over 24 hours, despite regular exposure to Omega Red's death spores. His lung capacity is at peak human level enabling him to hold breath for 6 minutes under water, making his lungs as healthy as human's lungs can get. And when his lungs stop working,he can maintain his life by cutaneous respiration (It can only maintain his basic life activities).
Superhuman Durability: Wolverine possess superhuman durability. This is mostly because of his healing abilities and Adamantium Skeleton, which redistributes the force of blows dealt against. He has taken blows from Spider-Man on multiple occasions showing less than minimal discomfort, as well from a host of other much stronger characters such as Wonder-Man, Thor, Hulk, Thing, Skaar, Sebastian Shaw, and Kid Gladiator, who also had the advantage of have spiked knuckles. However, even without his Adamantium Skeleton, Wolverine does display a degree of superhuman durability. For example, he was hit by a jeep, and was unharmed. This is partially due to the fact that his skeleton, even without the Adamantium metal, is superhumanly durable.
Superhuman Agility: Wolverine's agility, balance and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels far beyond the natural physical limits and capabilities of the finest human specimen. Wolverine's agility is sufficient to allow him to dodge multiple bullets. Other times, able to jump extremely high and evade several yards.
Superhuman Reflexes: Wolverine's reflexes are similarly enhanced, they are also superior to those possessed by the finest human specimen and are equal to the likes of Steve Rogers' (Captain America) due to his superhumanly acute senses, although most of the time he relies highly on his regenerative healing factor.

          Abilities:
Master Tactician: Though seemingly brutish, Wolverine is highly intelligent. When Forge monitored Wolverine's vitals during a Danger Room training session, he reported Logan's physical and mental state as "equivalent to an Olympic-level gymnast performing a Gold-medal-winning routine whilst simultaneously beating four chess computers in his head", which gives something of an idea of the level of sophistication and tactical processing Logan is capable of utilizing while in combat. He remembers Ogun teaching him Sun Tzu's The Art of War.

Master Martial Artist: Due to his extensive training as a soldier, a CIA operative, a samurai and a member of the X-Men, Logan is an exceptional martial artist, with expertise in Japanese martial arts, and has mastered 15 forms of martial arts, including Israeli Special Forces Training. His extraordinary hand-to-hand combat ability makes him one of the finest combatants on Earth. He was able to keep up with both the Black Panther and the Iron Fist, both expert martial artists. He has also defeated various hand-to-hand experts without using his claws. He even has taught the Black Widow, Rogue, Storm, Colossus, Primal, Sunspot, Armor, Jubilee, and Shadowcat in hand-to-hand combat.

Expert Marksman: He is an expert marksman skilled in throwing weapons and firearms, but operates more efficiently without them.

Expert Swordsman: Logan is proficient in Japanese sword fighting having studied under Ogun.

Skilled Acrobat: He is skilled in gymnastics, acrobatics and aerials, but is not on the same scale as other fighters such as Captain America and Daredevil.

Advanced Covert Ops Expert: Due to his experience traveling the world and working for various government agencies, Wolverine is also a trained expert in multiple types of weapons, vehicles, computer systems, explosives, and assassination techniques. In the Weapon X comic he said: I can put six shots into a quarter... an' get change for the gum-machine.

Skilled Mechanic: Along with Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler), Wolverine has also been the mechanic of the X-Men's Blackbird jet for a long time.

Multi-lingual: A polyglot; Wolverine is fluent in many languages including English, Arabic, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Cheyenne, Lakota, and Spanish; he has some knowledge of French, German, Thai, Vietnamese, Farsi and Portuguese. Ogun taught him Japanese ideograms.
With his increased lifespan and journeys across the globe, he has been able to amass an intimate knowledge of many foreign customs and cultures. Once he saw a kabuki play of The 47 Ronin (Genroku Ch?shingura) and remarked how it was one of the finest kabuki troupes he had seen. His exploits have further endowed him with vast awareness of literature and philosophy.
          Strength level
As a result of Wolverine's constant cellular regeneration and the additional weight and tensile strength of his skeleton he has some degree of superhuman strength enabling him to press somewhere in excess of 800 lbs but not more than 2 tons and he is able to place this strength in his strikes. The latest official handbook entry says that Wolverine is capable of lifting in excess of 800 lbs for brief periods due to his adamantium skeleton.

          Weaknesses
Vulnerable Senses: Wolverine's only other "weakness" is the fact that his heightened senses can be taken advantage of. For instance, when he was fighting the Bruce Banner (Hulk), he was nearly killed by the Hulk's thunder claps due to his heightened sense of hearing.
Decapitation/Severe Spinal Damage: Professor X once stated that Wolverine could be killed if his head becomes separated from his body, causing his brain to be unable to send signals to the section(s) of his body that needs healing. Because of the addition of his adamantium-laced skeleton, however, the idea seems very unlikely.
          Adamantium-related weaknesses:

Adamantium Allotropes: Adamantium has thirteen different allotropes (variants) that are very unstable compared to adamantium because of their different molecular configurations and thus physical properties. Some have caused Wolverine to become dizzy or weak just by being in close contact with these adamantium specimens.

Reduced Buoyancy: The addition of nearly 100 pounds of Adamantium to his body makes it more difficult for Wolverine to swim. Namor stated that Wolverine is the worst swimmer which is later confirmed by Logan.

          Activity:
Since the fall, Logan had done what he would truly do when shit hits the fan and no where truly else to go. He would wander.
          Equipment:
Normally he wears a standard X-Men uniform or street clothes. His gloves often have grooves in the forearm so they do not tear when he unsheathes his claws.

          Player Name: Alixandre
          Real Name: Wanda Marya Maximoff
Currently Employed Aliases: Scarlet Witch, The Witch
          Height: 5'7
          Weight: 132lbs
          Age: 25
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual (With some mechanical exceptions)
Affiliation: The Avengers, The Brotherhood of Mutants, The House of M, The Mutants, Avengers West Coast
Base of Operations: The Royal Palace, The Domain of Magneto
          Powers and Abilities:

Witchcraft – Cursed by an alien force with hopes that her child’s body would eventually become a host to said force, Wanda is gifted with sorcerous powers along with her mutation. Trained by Agatha Harkness, Wanda’s magical capabilities do not hinder her mutation, but help to enhance and focus it – she also demonstrates an affinity for the natural elements and the organic powers that are a witch’s bread and butter. Due to this training, she has also become a focal point for the earth’s magic, letting her draw power from it and move power through it.

Unarmed Combat – Along with her mutant abilities, Wanda has been trained in hand-to-hand combat by Captain America and Hawkeye, some of her fellow Avengers.

Tactics – When her mind is clear and she in control, Wanda is one of the best strategists that serves on the Avengers.

Probability – Scarlet Witch’s domain. The extent of her powers, to this day, is still being recorded, but so far: she is able to fire spheres of hex magic (these have varying effects on their target that range from comical to devastating) that are dependent  on her line of sight and vary in strength (depending on her mental state and physical condition). The House of M Incident demonstrated at Scarlet Witch’s powers can become a global phenomenon, capable of disabling the Mutant X-Gene, bring the dead back to life, manifesting as red beams of light, and completely transforming people and matter.

Flight – By warping the fields around her, Scarlet Witch is able to fly.

Telekinesis – Scarlet Witch can levitate objects and manipulate them. She is also able to make telekinetic forcefields. The extent of her telekinesis is unknown, but she relies mainly on her probability-altering abilities.

Illusions and Constructions – Scarlet Witch is able to warp reality enough to create illusions. This is different from her ability to craft constructions, however, which are physical images capable of anything – she has been known to conjure entire armies to assist her.

Weaknesses: Being a Witch and being a Mutant are nothing when compared to being the mother of children who turned out to be the shards of Mephisto. Wanda’s greatest weakness is her mental state – she is capable of losing it with the best of them.

History: Wanda is an Avenger. After stumbling around with the Mutant population, she finds her home among Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and it is a life defining choice for her. Because of the Avengers, she met the witch who would help her to control her mutation and powers, and eventually, she meets Vision – the android who she would become married to. Their relationship resulted in two children, who were actually shards of a soul belonging to Mephisto – they were reabsorbed into their proper body and the even destroyed Wanda. Although her memories of the even were removed by her mentor, Agatha Harkness, and with her marriage with Vision falling apart, the villain Immortus informed the West Coast Avengers (whom Wanda was the leader of) that he had bent the relationship to break Vision.

Eventually, it came to light that Wanda had been a mother and when seeking the truth, Wanda found it – and murdered her mentor for removing the memories. This was followed by a slew of directed violence towards the Avengers by the Scarlet Witch. The attacks were personal, coming from Wanda’s grief-stricken subconscious and were only ended when she was defeated by Doctor Strange . Moved to Genosha to recover, Wanda is put into a coma while her fate is decided – someone with her power should not be allowed to walk the line between good and evil. Wanda creates a new reality in response to the devastation that follows her brother, Pietro’s, insistence that she make a new reality where her fate isn’t decided by others. Wanda utters three words, warping reality, removing the X-Gene from most mutants.

In exchange for the new reality, Wanda loses all of her memories and falls under the protection of Doctor Doom. After she is rescued, her deeds fall on her shoulders and she attempts to commit suicide – stopped by the reincarnation of her sons. She is convinced to reverse the damage caused by M-Day (her willing away mutants), and even that is met with tragedy – ending in a spell that grants Doctor Doom not only her powers, but the powers of her son, Wiccan. She redeems herself, however, by helping to remove the Phoenix Force from the Earth with the help of the Avengers and the X-Men.

Activity: Unsure where Wanda’s place was in the world, she retreated back to her father’s protective cloak, and was with him when Loki took over the country. Haunted by the events of M-Day still, Wanda believes that now is their chance to realize her father’s dream – a safe place for all of Mutant-kind and convinces him to deal with Loki in order to get a large slice of land. The deal is successful and Scarlet Witch, up to the point, has spent her days absolving herself of her crimes against the world by using her magic to aid in the flourishing environment of the Domain of Magneto. She still remains unaware of the whereabouts of her former husband, but for the moment – she has finally attained mental peace.

History: Favored daughter of a rich diplomat father and Algerian royalty ,this former X-Men has been using her resources to find the whereabouts of her lost siblings. They were rumored to have been held up in Hulkland or worst yet , dead after Loki took over. Ever since then Magneto has made a home for mutants and she has taken refuge there. Not sure if the X-men will ever come together, she's been concocting plans of her own.

          Costume

          Base of Operations: TBA
          Powers:

          • Astral Plane Manipulation: With Nate's vast psionic abilities, he is able to directly interact with the Astral Plane. This allows him to travel about in astral form, and he can even make the astral take shape in the real world, forging psi-armor or bringing astral projections into reality and giving them form as well as substance.

          • Telepathy: Sinister's "experiment" bore impressive fruit, and due to not only his mother being Jean Grey, but Sinister's own manipulations, Nate Grey is one of the most powerful telepaths to ever exist. He has effortlessly read minds from extreme distances, as well as manipulated multiple people at once. When his powers first manifested, he was capable of blocking Xavier's efforts to read his mind without even realizing it. He has even erased the entirety of New York's memory of him before. Beyond simply reading minds and tampering with them, Nate's telepathy has different aspects as well. He can easily learn a new language by tapping the mind of a native speaker. So if he sifted through the mind of an Italian, he would be able to speak and understand the language if he so chose. He also possesses psychometry, the ability to read psychic imprints left upon objects by people. The nature of his powers allow him to sense dimensional rifts or universal anomalies.

          • Precognition: Nate has the ability to see the future, which he does by shunting himself into the time stream, which lets him view multiple possible futures brought upon by certain actions or inactions. He rarely uses this power though, as even knowing the future can alter it a great deal and he doesn't like tampering with time too much as the risks often far outweigh the rewards.

          • Power Amping:Nate can with focus, increase a mutants power levels beyond what they are normally capable of reaching. This is often only temporary however, as "super charging" a power can lead to losing control or a mutant burning themselves out. So he only uses it as a last resort, and always removes the amplification after a time.

          • Telekinesis: Nate is not just a powerful telepath. He is a psychic of the highest order, and one of the most powerful psychics to ever live. And his telekinesis is proof of that. His control seems to extend to the subatomic level, and he has shown himself capable of moving the chemicals around in a persons brain, disassembling and reassembling incredibly complex machinery with ease. To get a scale of the raw power he possesses, in what he thought was a dream, he telekinetically crushed the entirety of a Quito, a city in Ecuador in moments to prove that he could. He's even isolated Earth's gravitational pull. The psionic blasts he can produce are some of the strongest ever encountered.

          • Flight: By telekinetically manipulating himself, Nate can fly at extreme speeds. Fast enough to reach space from the planets surface in just a few seconds.

          • Force Field: By focusing his telekinetic energies, Nate can create force fields capable of standing up to immense amounts of punishment.

          • Holograms: By manipulating water vapor and dust particles, Nate can cause light to refract in such a way that he can create 3D holograms indistinguishable from the real thing. He can even use his telekinesis to make them feel real.

          • Invisibility: A byproduct of his control over his powers, Nate can bend light around himself to become invisible.

          • Intangibility: By telekinetically shifting his molecules around objects, he can phase through them and put himself back together on the other side.

          • EMP's: By tapping into Earth's magnetic field, Nate can channel it through the electro-current of his brain and cause powerful Electromagnetic Pulses.

          • Teleportation: Nate's TK is so powerful, he can teleport. Not only from point A to point B, but to different dimensions as well. By bending the dimensional barriers that separate one dimension to the next, he can slip through the rifts and reappear on the other side.

          • Healing: With effort, Nate can heal wounds, injuries, and illnesses. This goes beyond himself, and he can heal others as well.

          • Physical Reconstitution:[/b] After his apparent death against the Anti-man, he has learned to rebuild his body by absorbing psionic energy. He used this power to regain his physical form after becoming one with the earth. Nate can also reverse the process and turn his body into pure astral energy.

          • Psionic Evoultion:After becoming one with the earth, X-Man has ascended to a higher state of existence. Because of this, he could exist as pure energy and is no longer restricted by the boundaries of the physical world.

          • Posession: Along with learning to rebuild his physical form, X-Man's heightened state of existence has allowed him to convert his body into pure psychic energy and possess people. He used this power to possess Norman Osborne. While possessing someone, he can also explore their mind from the inside. It is possible that if he possesses a mutant, he can use their powers along with his own.

          • Temporal Manipulation: After his return, he is able to step out of time, and enter the “Planck Length”. With it he can manipulate time, or step in between moments. Nate has displayed temporal manipulation in the past, such as an isolated time freeze.

          • Reality Warping: Upon his return, Nate Grey has demonstrated reality warping abilities. While being trapped in the Omega Machine Nate was psionically warping reality which caused the New Mutants great confusion when attempting disclose his location. Moreover after his discovery by the New Mutants the government officials constantly identified him as a reality warping mutant. To what degree his abilities extend is unknown.

          • Phoenix Force Avatar(Potential): According to the Shi'ar the carriers of the Grey Genome, as well as Omega Level Mutants and telepaths, all have the potential to bond with the Phoenix Force. Nate satisfies all three criteria, that makes him a possible Phoenix Avatar. His former strength was also comparable to the Phoenix, and he was once surrounded by an aura similar to the Phoenix raptor.

          History:
          History of the X-Man

          Age of Apocalypse
Sinister, an underling of the High Lord Apocalypse, artificially created Nate from genetic material from Cyclops and Jean Grey. Sinister created Nate as the ultimate telepath and telekinetic, and hoped to use him in his own bid for power against Apocalypse[13]. Nate aged to his teens rapidly.

Cyclops, in his many subversive raids on Sinister's pens, helped Nate escape Sinister's hideout with neither man knowing his connection to the other. Nate wound up under the tutelage of Forge and several other mutant outcasts who, disguised as a theater troupe, tried to help humans.

Forge became a father figure to young Nate. Forge began the long process of teaching Nate how to control his powers as well as the benefits of being a "good guy." Nate was cautioned about using his powers indiscriminately as it could allow Apocalypse to learn of his existence. Forge also warned Nate the his powers could one day ultimately burn him out.

When Forge and his Outcasts stopped a train leading humans to a culling, Nate disobeyed Forge's orders and helped out. He saved a young mutant girl, Sonique. Nate convinced Forge to allow her to join them[14]. Later, they came across the wandering traveler Essex, who was really Sinister following Nate's progress in disguise. Essex encouraged Nate rebel against Forge's teachings and to use his powers. Essex convinced the Outcasts to investigate one of Apocalypse's factories which Nate destroyed[15].

The use of his powers alerted Apocalypse of his presence and he sent his minion Domino to either recruit Nate or kill him. Domino and her team tracked Nate and his friends and killed most of them. Nate used his powers to wipe Domino's mind. However, he was too late to stop Essex from slaying Forge[16]. Sinister revealed himself to be Essex. After learning Sinister's true evil nature Nate seeming killed him[17].

Still, Essex successfully convinced Nate to battle Apocalypse. Nate kissed Sonique goodbye and flew to Apocalypse's citadel in Manhattan. There, Nate met his genetic parents, Scott Summers and Jean Grey. Nate and Jean instantly recognized that there was a bond between them due to their telepathy. Scott and Jean were leading a break-out of the slave pens and Nate hoped to catch up with them after he had eliminated Apocalypse.

Nate made his move when the X-Men were waging their final desperate attempt to repair their unbalanced reality with the M'Kraan Crystal. In the final battle, Nate rescued Magneto, who recognized him a the boy Forge had once promised to send him one day. Nate battled Apocalypse's son Holocaust. Nate impaled Holocaust with a shard of the crystal. The resulting impact caused both of them to be shunted to the Earth-616 universe[2]

          A New World
          Xman005p093gr
          A New World
Nate fell like a meteor in the Alps in Switzerland and his falling caused a powerful psi-wave, which affected telepaths like Charles Xavier, Jean Grey and Psylocke and also was noticed by Blaquesmith.[18] He unconsciously resurrected Madelyne Pryor, a clone of Jean Grey, in his subconscious attempt to reach out to his "mother." Pryor helped Nate adjust to this reality, but they were both separated soon after when she was lured away from Nate by Selene.

Nate wandered the earth being contacted and confronted by many who would want to be his ally-- Professor X[19], Rogue[20], Moira MacTaggart[21], Mr. Sinister[22], Bishop[23], Havok's Brotherhood[24], and others.

Nate began to find himself with the help of Sinister's old underling, Threnody and took refuge in New York. He believed Threnody to be dead, and also took up a firm friendship with Spider-Man.

When Zero Tolerance troops attacked Xavier’s mansion in Westchester and downloaded Cerebro's files, Nate was telepathically alerted by Cable that he was the only one close enough to rescue the children of Jean's sister, Sara Grey, from the Prime Sentinels. Nate saved them and Roust and left Joey and Gailyn in the care of their grandparents, as the Sentinels were curious about the unidentified telepath and still searching for him.[4]

For the next weeks, Nate kept a low profile. One night, he went clubbing with the three girls - Jam, Bux and Marita - and many people recognized him from his performances in Central Park. Nate was asked to sing with the band and, surprisingly, he did quite well, though he never had been on stage before. However, the show was interrupted by the arrival of Jackknife, who was hunting down and killing every single person that Nate had contact with. Jackknife was actually Jack Cole, one of the many misfits belonging to the Abomination's group. During Nate’s battle with the Abomination, he accidentally unlocked Cole's latent psychic powers. Jack could not handle himself and became psychotic, blaming Nate for the voices in his head. Nate defeated the mentally imbalanced misfit when the police arrived. They asked him to surrender, but the crowd who witnessed the battle intervened, claiming that Nate was a hero. The next day, Jam lost an arm in a motorcycle crash. When Nate, Bux and Marita visited her in the Empire State Hospital, something strange happened. After touching Nate, Dr. Marcus Arlington III developed the ability to heal and Jam's arm was restored. The miracle boosted Nate’s popularity even more and Nate was now admired by hundreds of followers like some kind of messiah.[25]

Soon after Purple Man arrived. He used his powers and a few mercenaries to destroy Nate's popularity and claiming him as a terrorist. After Nate defeated Killgrave, he erased the memory of himself amongst all New Yorkers.

          Psi-Ops, Stryfe and Ness
Together with his friend Spider-Man, Nate first met and fought Psi-Ops in New York City. Grey escaped to Switzerland where he met Maddie Pryor, and together they fought and defeated the Great Beasts.

Using his precognition powers, Nate saw the future, where he fought this Stryfe, and destroyed the Earth. The Witness of these events was a member of the Hellbent's - Ness. Together they were able to prevent this future, and defeated Stryfe in Latveria with the assistance of Cable and Maddie.

Soon after Grey, Pryor and Ness met again the Psi-Ops, and defeated them too.

Nate traveled to London where he saved from suicide a young woman Colleen O'Shaugnessy. Newspapers called him the Second Coming, the divine Messiah, and cause of that he was attacked by Crusader. They fought and Blackwood was defeated.[7]

After that Nate returned to New York, and alongside with Emma Frost and Generation X he fought and defeated the Dark Beast and Gene Nation.

Nate visited his "parents", Scott and Jean, who were at the time recuperating in Anchorage, Alaska. Together, they fought and defeated the Guardians of the M'Kraan Crystal - Modt and Jahf.

The strength of the newly forged bonds between Nate and his “parents” was shown when, soon after, as the X-Men had been disbanded, Nate (alongside Archangel, Wolverine and Cable) was one of the few people Jean and Scott called for help, as they needed to defend the new race the Mannites from the mysterious "Death".[26]

Mysterio manipulated Nate to gain control of his powers. Berkhart create "Greyville" - the illusion world where Nate has an ideal life with his mother and older brother, his mentor, girlfriend and best friends Peter and Maddie. However, Nate was able to understand that the world around was just an illusion. He destroyed Greyville, found Mysterio and locked him in his own fantasies, where Berkhart gained control of Nate's powers and ruled the Earth.

          Threnody and their child
Still not knowing what happened to Threnody, Nate would have been surprised by the events in New York over the past months. Shortly after her body had been brought to the morgue, the corpse rose and Threnody walked out.[27] In her wake, several dead reanimated themselves too, following Threnody and chanting her name.[5] She made her way to the loft that she and Nate had lived in and kept track of Nate's activities through the news. Over time, her appearance slightly changed as her belly grew from pregnancy.[28] The father of her child was obviously Nate.

Soon after Nate saved Thren from armies of zombies. She told him about her death, and her killer. She explained that her powers "fed" his energy, and this was the reason why he was getting weaker every minute with her. Nate said that he loved Melody, even if it killed him, but she escaped from him to take care of their child[12], which she did not tell Nate.

          Shaman of the Mutant Tribe
Madelyne Pryor returned soon afterward, but she was manipulating Nate in his sleep and making him destroy things. She finally revealed that she was a "Madelyne Pryor" from another dimension and she needed him to do something for her. This "Maddie" showed Nate how to shift between parallel earths and they traveled to Earth-998. She planned to use him to destroy Asia, and finally take over the world, but Nate escaped. Jean sent Mr. Scratch and the Black Knights to search for him.

Nate met his counterpart from Earth-2098, who told him that the Red Queen tried to use his powers, but failed, and began traveling to different realities, in search of the perfect weapon, a "working Nate Grey". But in all realities she found only a "defective" Nate- until she met X-Man.

Together both Nates went to a hidden village. X-Man, under the guidance of the Shaman, used his powers to talk with Forge, who told them the truth about Queen Maddie. Immediately thereafter, the village was attacked by Scratch and the Black Knights. Scratch destroyed Forge's body, paralyzed X-Man, and almost strangled Shaman while the Knights killed all the villagers. Shaman used his powers to stabilize X-Man's power, gave him his X-Gene insignia and send him home to Earth-616.

Realizing that his powers were now completely under his control, Nate returned to Earth-998, destroyed the Engines of God, and killed the Red Queen.

          X-Man Vol 1 65 Textless
          Mutant Shaman
After the defeat of this evil "Queen Jean", Nate set out to make a difference in the world. Nate became immensely powerful, and had few qualms about using his power to mete out justice to his fellow mutants. He then dealt with and stopped the madman Qabiri from destroying all the worlds on the Spiral.

          "Death"
As a protector of the Earth Nate confronted the Harvester, an alien from the race of "farmers" who was sent to Earth 30 years ago to prepare the planet for harvesting. His race insinuated their genetic code into all living cells on the planet at the dawn of life and patiently watched the evolution of life for millions of years. Thirty years ago they finally decided to harvest their "ripe crop". Since Nate wasn't suitable for them, he transformed his body into energy and merged himself with the Harvester. He then spread both of them over the cells of every living thing across the globe, "poisoning" the "crop" and making it unsuitable for harvesting.[29]

          Return
Nate returned a few months[30] later, in a small town, where his presence caused several of the inhabitants to dream-walk and continuously repeat "I'm an X-Man." Norman Osborn sent his team of X-Men, consisting of Mimic, Weapon Omega, Dark Beast and Mystique, to investigate and to raise public opinion. Both Mimic and Omega were overwhelmed by Nathan's energies and went on a rampage leaving Mystique and Dark Beast alone with a patient that they were examining. Shortly Nathan once more took physical form, much to Beast's shock and horror, believing Mystique to be his mother Jean Grey, since she had taken her form.

Nate angrily attacked Beast but didn't realize that Jean was actually Mystique, who managed to distract him long enough in order to save Dark Beast's life. Following the incident; Osborn tasked his X-Men to hunt down and possibly capture Nate for experimentation and to feed Weapon Omega. Osborn's X-Men contacted H.A.M.M.E.R.'s PSI-division (which had taken a cult like appearance); the PSI-Division managed to contact Nate only for him to absorb most of their psychic energies and learn what had happened to the world and to the mutant race in his absence. He angrily demanded to know what Osborn's X-Men, (presumably) had done.[31]

Nate attacked Avengers Tower. After defeating Venom and incapacitating Sentry with stories of their past friendship, he battled both Osborn's Dark Avengers and Dark X-Men. He seemingly died after his defeat, but it was just a ploy to possess Norman Osborn's mind. The only one aware of the ruse was Mystique, due to her psychic defenses. She wanted Nate to free her of Osborn's control or she would reveal him to the others.[32] However, Nate intended to restore the world to the way it was. He planned on showing the X-Men that they didn't have to feel trapped on Utopia or that the Avengers could be at their former glory. However, he was fighting a hard battle against Osborn, whose will was strong enough to match his own. He also demanded that Mystique try redeeming herself. Mystique later recruited the rest of the Dark X-Men to enter and explore Osborn's mind. While fighting Osborn, he finds the Green Goblin personality buried in Osborn's mind. The battle with Nate weakened the inner defenses restraining the Green Goblin. With the Green Goblin free, Osborn was vulnerable against Nate's attacks while he fought the Green Goblin. With the Dark X-Men still in Osborn's mind and the Green Goblin free to attack Osborn and the Dark X-Men, Nate's plan was coming together perfectly.

After a brief battle between the Green Goblin and the Dark X-Men, Nate was defeated when Green Goblin forced Mimic to replicate Omega's powers, turning the pair into a powerful siphon that drained Nate's energies. Now returned to the physical world, a powerless Nate was tortured in front of the Dark X-Men as an example to them, after which Norman asked him if he had any last words before he was "used as coal" in Dark Beast's Omega Machine, but a gloating Norman cut off Nate before he had a chance to finish speaking. Nate was taken away to the machine.

After the fall of Norman Osborn and H.A.M.M.E.R., many prisoners were freed, including Sugar Man. Once Sugar Man was freed he found unconscious X-Man connected to the Omega Machine. Sugar Man made some modifications to the Omega Machine to use X-Man's powers to open portals to other dimensions.[33] Meanwhile, Cyclops sent a team to find him. Cypher discovered the Sugar Man's secret base in New York, and the New Mutants defeated Sugar Man and his New Mutates, and rescued X-Man.[33] However, X-Man's powers were burnt out by the Omega Machine. He was then taken to Utopia for recovery, where Cyclops started to build a relationship with him.[34]

          New Mutants
Despite his diminished powers, X-Man joined the New Mutants squad. While still dealing with the loss of his immense powers, Hope Summers and X-Man had a heart to heart conversation and training session in the Danger Room.[35]

After the Schism, Nate chose to take his father's side but didn't remain on Utopia. He went along with the New Mutants to 1128 Mission Street in San Francisco.

(Nate is the alternate reality Earth-295(Age of Apocalypse). He is Scott Summers and Jean Grey's son due to Mr. Sinister combining genetic samples of them both to create Nate.)

When Loki and Doom attacked, the severity of it was enough to jump start Nate's powers, returning them to their original levels before he was burned out by the Omega Machine. However, as he'd been without his full powers for a time, he lost control and jumped himself into a different timeline.

Since then, he has been focusing, regaining control of his abilities so he can find his way back to the previous timeline and help get it back on track. He doesn't know enough about the how and why the attack happened to attempt to change the past, but he can return to the present and help out the good ole' fashioned way. He plans to find his parents, reunite with whats left of the X-Men, and topple Loki from his throne. Just now he has finally found the past he was looking for and forced his way back there. Now he plans on following through, taking Loki down and helping get not only America, but the rest of the world back on track.

(Figured I'd toss Spiral in here as well...)

          CHARACTER NAME: Spiral
          REAL NAME: Rita Wayword
          AGE: Unknown
          SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Bisexual
          HEIGHT: 5' 10"
          WEIGHT: 162lbs.
          EYES: White
          HAIR: Silver
AFFILIATION: Partner of Ginny  Formerly X-Force, Sisterhood of Mutants, Mojoverse, Freedom Force
          APPEARANCE:

          POWERS/ABILITIES:
Spell Casting: Spiral has powerful mystical abilities. With gestures or dance moves, she can teleport herself and numerous people across great distances. Teleportation and powerful spells require more complicated dance moves. Spiral's spell-casting powers can be triggered through small hand gestures of her many hands. Spiral often incorporates knives and swords into more complicated spells. Spiral can also disguise herself through her magic. Spiral can open gateways between dimensions and travel through time, though it has been implied that she sometimes requires Mojo's help to successfully teleport from one dimension to another. Currently, her trans-realities powers have been cancelled by Mojo, and she can only teleport on Earth-616 where Mojo dumped her.

          By using magic, Spiral can:
          ◾ Teleport herself and others
          ◾ Project concussive energies
          ◾ Paralyze others
          ◾ Turn invisible
          ◾ Remove superhuman abilities
          ◾ Cause unconsciousness
          ◾ Conjure up objects

Possession Immunity: Spiral's mind seems to be immune from possession. When Rogue attempted to steal Spiral's mind and powers, Spiral stole Rogue's instead, laughing that she had danced in many people's souls. Nocturne was fooled by Spiral into thinking Spiral had been possessed while Spiral remained in control.

It was also established that Spiral is aware, through unknown mystical means, whenever a person speaks her name.

Strength level: Superhuman with an unknown upper limit.

Abilities: Spiral is a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant and sword fighter. Her six arms are fully coordinated, giving her great dexterity and athletic ability. Spiral demonstrated highly developed skills in cybernetics and genetic manipulation which she has used to turn humans into powerful cyborgs at her Body Shoppe. Most notable include Lady Deathstrike and the cybernetic Reavers, who have since been "upgraded" by Donald Pierce.

WEAKNESSES: Spiral will often lose to less powerful opponents due to tendencies of overconfidence, toying with her foe for too long, or becoming distracted.

          HISTORY:
Spiral was originally the human named Rita Wayword, Aka Ricochet Rita, a professional stuntwoman who befriended Longshot when he first appeared on Earth. The story of how Rita became Spiral is a paradox: Rita was attacked by her evil, future self which led to her meeting Longshot and falling in love with him. When Longshot sought to return to his home dimension, the Mojoverse, the love-struck Rita went with her boyfriend, only to watch Longshot fail and be captured alongside him by the dimension's evil overlord, Mojo. Longshot was promptly mind-wiped to forget all about Rita, while a much worse fate was left for Rita herself.

After holding her prisoner for several years (at which point Rita was made to serve as guardian for Mojo's army of "X-Babies"), Mojo forced his chief scientist, Arize, to perform extreme physical and mental body modifications onto Rita to recreate her into a loyal subordinate. These experiments left her with six arms (some of which are robotic), turned her hair silver, and drove the young woman insane through forcibly evolving Rita's mind to the point that she could see into other dimensions that were used for time-travel/teleportation. He also trained her in the dark arts of magic and body modification, so that she could use these skills to mutilate others like Mojo had mutilated her. Finally, in a cruel act of manipulation, Mojo sent Spiral back in time to set into motion the events that led to her former self becoming Mojo's prisoner and become Spiral by attacking her past self.

Now in the past, Spiral found herself stranded on Earth by Mojo for failing to kill Longshot and Rita. At some unknown point, Spiral encountered Val Cooper and was recruited into Freedom Force, a revamped version of the second Brotherhood of Mutants. Despite being utterly insane and more blood-thirsty than her new team-mates, Spiral quickly became a valuable member of the team, single-handedly defeating the X-Men on several occasions as well as kidnapping the X-Man Rachel Summers for Mojo. She was also instrumental in Freedom Force's victory over the Avengers and the West Coast Avengers when sent by the U.S. government to arrest the heroes. Her magical powers temporarily robbed Captain Marvel of her energy powers and she also defeated Iron Man, removing two of the most powerful Avengers from the battle.

She also ran the "Body Shoppe", which sells alien cybernetic parts to amputees and others who see the power of cybernetic limbs. Lady Deathstrike and several members of the Reavers were some of her earlier clients though later writers have retconned Donald Pierce and not Spiral as the person responsible for their becoming cyborgs. She also was responsible for giving Psylocke cybernetic eyes, which doubled as cameras for Mojo to spy on the X-Men.

Along with Mojo, Spiral played a role in Psylocke becoming Asian. Originally, it was believed that the two literally transformed Psylocke from being British to being Asian, but it was discovered that Spiral (without Mojo's involvement) transferred the X-Man's mind into the body of the Asian assassin Kwannon.

Even though she was a loyal servant of Mojo, Spiral deeply resented Mojo's crass manners and cruelty towards her. In particular, Spiral has been known to go against Mojo's orders and attack Longshot out of psychotic need for revenge for his seduction on her and how her love for him led to her transformation into the being she is today. As such, Mojo has been known to leave Spiral stranded on Earth (since Spiral required Mojo's power to travel between dimensions safely).

Spiral was revealed to have conquered an alternate timeline and referred to herself as "The Apocalypse". She managed to kill most of that Earth's heroes, and only Cable and some of his X-Force/New Mutants allies were left. Spiral had kidnapped that universe's Sunspot and tortured him by making him make love to her until his rescue. With the aid of Shatterstar, Spiral was evidently defeated and apparently returned to Mojo's services. She later attacked the X-Men together with Mojo, but ended up defeated once again.

Spiral was among the nine criminal geniuses that Beast sought out when it came to reversing the effects of Decimation. Mojo himself was another.

Following Messiah Complex, the X-men relocated to San Francisco, and Spiral was approached by the spirit of the psychic Jean Grey clone, Madelyne Pryor. Using a combination of magic and telepathy, Pryor was able to bring Spiral back to the Mojoverse, in return Spiral had to completely repair the body of Lady Deathstrike who had been critically wounded by X-23. This particular repair altered Deathstrike's persona slightly - making her more submissive towards Spiral and Pryor - but nevertheless just as deadly.

Being back in the Mojoverse once more, Spiral decided that perhaps it wasn't worth coming back to as Mojo still operated in the tiresome manner which she had come to expect. Possibly manipulated by Pryor all along, she joined her Sisterhood of Mutants alongside Deathstrike, the Wyngarde sisters, Regan and Martinique, and Chimera to declare war on the X-men once again.

Part of Pryor's plan involved the further manipulation/mutilation of Psylocke. Betsy had only just returned from an inter-dimensional voyage of her own and was believed to be dead again by her fellow X-men. Capturing the disorientated woman, the sisterhood switched her mind back into her exhumed original body via Pryor's magic and Spiral's science and brainwashed her into becoming their newest member. Their plan's would eventually fail as Psylocke's own consciousness proved to strong to be overpowered and when the X-men defeated the sisterhood in combat her mind reverted back to her Asian body.

Spiral used her teleportation to take the remaining sisterhood to safety following Pryor's death but it is unknown if she has retained any commitment to them.

Spiral kept low profile for a while, during the Exodus, the Second Coming, the Schism and the War between X-Men and Avengers. At some point, Mojo got tired of Spiral, displeased by her service, and removed her trans-reality transportation power from her, before dropping her on Earth. There, hopeless, she tried to survive and eventually found a young mutant telepath, Ginny, whom she used to make money, in selling her abilities as a pretended drug (the "TAO"), but Ginny managed to save Spiral's life somehow, and their relation became more solid than a simple exploitation.

Eventually, after the disband of the assassination team X-Force, Storm and Psylocke were tasked on a mission to Los Angeles by Logan, rejoining Puck who was inquiring about a drug dealer selling TAO, a drug that makes people susceptible to a hive mind mentality.

The three tracked the drug's source to an L.A club, an old bank from the 20’s that the drug dealer uses to sell drugs and dance who revealed to be Spiral, called the Diva of LA Downtown. Psylocke was unable to refrain from attacking her- engaging in open combat and threatening to murder her if the clubbers intervened. Spiral asks Betsy for mercy, but Betsy refuses wanting her vengeance. Storm and Puck used this distraction to crack open Spiral's vault and were surprised to find a young malnourished girl, Ginny. However the girl was in fact a telepath and the likely source of the TAO drug itself. Confused and frightened, she mentally ordered the clubbers to apprehend Psylocke and save Spiral.

Ginny and Spiral managed to escaped from the heroes and to rejoin Rita's flat, where they were found again. The flat was quickly attacked by a returned from the future Bishop, who was looking specifically for the young girl, whom he abducts. After their adventure together, Spiral joins the Uncanny X-Force to atone for her sins.

PERSONALITY: Spiral will often lose to less powerful opponents due to tendencies of overconfidence, toying with her foe for too long, or becoming distracted. She also hides her feelings and will go against orders if it fits her best interest. As powerful as Spiral is she is secretly lost without somebody else directing her motions. She is also finally coming to grips over everything that has happened to her throughout her life. She still is technically insane but is still truly trying to atone for her sins....

          Player Name: Alixandre
          Real Name: Emma Grace Frost
Currently Employed Aliases: The White Queen
          Height: 5'10"
Weight: 144lbs, 436lbs in Diamond Form
          Age: 35
          Sexual Orientation: Straight
Affiliation: The Hellfire Club, The X-Men, Frost International
Base of Operations: The Royal Palace, The Domain of Magneto
          Powers and Abilities:

Telepathy: Among her many talents, Emma Frost is an accomplished Telepath. She is able to possess the minds of her targets, induce paralysis, hypnotize, stimulate pain, and manifest themselves into psionic lightning bolts. She is also a master of illusions, astral projection, communication, and performing very stressful tasks like surgery via her telepathy (both physical surgery and mental surgery). After her most recent episode with the Phoenix Force, it was discovered that Emma can also serve as a conduit for the power of other telepaths and shut off others' mutant telepathy by using her own - a handy weapon when engaging in combat with other telepaths. This was her original mutation and is the other that Emma is most comfortable and familiar with.

Diamond Form: This is the mutation that Emma Frost is most famous for - cold and impenetrable, her Diamond Form makes her immune to all telepathy (an enemy's and her own). In Diamond Form, she is immune to cold and heat, toxins, fatigue, and gains an extreme resistance to damage - she has survived attacks that would kill most of the strongest mutants and metahumans. Along with near invulnerability, Diamond Form grants Emma super strength (rumored to have a 2 ton limit, but no confirmation), enhance speed, immortality, a suspension of the need to eat, sleep, and drink, and completely cuts off her pain and emotion receptors.

Intellect: Emma Frost is highly intelligent and cunning - skills she has utilized when running her own international business company. She also employed this intelligence in becoming a great teacher within the Xavier Institute and used it to connect with students, learning about the mutations of her charges and her teammates.

Technology Whisperer: Emma worked to be gifted with technology and it has been employed with different results. She produced a weapon that allowed her to change minds with her target and was responsible for the device that allowed Mastermind to manipulate the Phoenix Force. All of her inventions revolve around a cause that is near and dear to her: psionic energy.

Hand-to-Hand Combat: Because Diamond Form requires her telepathy to be suspended, Emma Frost has worked at becoming adept at holding her own in a brawl. It has been tested time and again, and always ends fairly well - while not an offensive fighter, it has been demonstrated that Emma is more than capable of stacking up with some of the heavyhitters in the mutant world - Sage and Bishop, who had to depend on firepower to remove her from the fight.

Phoenix Force Host: Emma Frost was, on separate occasions, a host to the destructive Phoenix Force. However, Emma is unable to control it on her own - the most successful instance of her tenure as a host was when it was shared between five mutants.

          Weaknesses:

Along with the weaknesses that a telepath carries, Emma Frost does have a physical weakness. It is rumored that with the right amount of force and the right weapon, an attack directed at the nose of the Diamond Form can shatter it.

          History:

Emma Frost is a 'leaves can turn their colors' success story - from Hellfire Queen to Professor, Emma Frost has run the entire color spectrum when it comes to the mutant world. Born to a very rich family, she chose to strike it out on her own and found success in the business world, leading Frost International - a company whose income she leaves to the disposal of the mutants she is tending.

What guides her interaction and position with, and within, the X-Men is the status of her relationship with its sometimes leader: Scott Summers.

One thing remains, even when Emma Frost is not an X-Men, she is still a teacher and loves her students dearly.

          Activity:

Unsure where to go, Emma Frost finds herself stuck in a country with very divided border lines. When whispers reach Emma's mind that Jean Grey has re-appeared, Emma decides to break with tradition and makes for the Domain of Magneto. Although she was one of the loudest voices in favor of killing the Scarlet Witch, Wanda extends a hand to Emma Frost and offers her a teaching position at the small school within the free land for mutants.

And, up to this point, Emma has been content to teach.

          Sasquatch421

          Player Name: Sasquatch421
          Superhero/villain: Wonder Man
          Real Name: Simon Williams
          Age: 30
          Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Base of Operations: Unknown for now...
          Powers:

Ionic Energy Form: The tissue and bones of his entire body have been augmented in strength and to a certain extent supplanted by an unknown substance during the "ionic ray" bombardment. Despite Wonder Man's statements that he is composed of "ionic energy," he is actually composed of organic matter that is permeated with this form of energy. Since his last revival, his physiology has changed a great deal and its not clear if his external form is ionic energy or flesh. He stated during an incident in which all the living things in New York had been morphed into symbiotes that he was an ion being and not flesh and blood. This was the prime reason he himself had not been infected. He does not house blood in his body and cannot impregnate women.

Superhuman Strength: Williams possesses vast superhuman strength, the limits of which aren't known, and he is listed above the class 100 limit. His strength extends into his legs, as he is capable of superhuman leaps covering several hundred feet.

Superhuman Speed: He can run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Stamina: Williams' ion body grants him unlimited stamina and is therefore immune to fatigue.

Superhuman Durability: His bodily tissues are much harder and far more resistant to physical injury than the bodily tissues of a normal human. Williams is highly resistant to penetration wounds, even from high caliber machine gun shells. He can also withstand tremendous impact forces, such as falling from great heights or being repeatedly struck by superhumanly strong opponents, without being hurt. Williams is also resistant to extremes in temperature.

Superhuman Agility and Reflexes: His agility, balance, reflexes and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Hearing: His hearing has been enhanced to a superhuman degree.

Energy Vision: Williams can see beyond the usual spectrum visible to the human eye.

Flight: He originally required the use of a sophisticated and advanced rocket pack attached to his costume to fly. However, following his resurrection and metamorphosis, Williams is now able to fly through the air at great speeds, the exact limit of which isn't known. He could originally fly at subsonic speeds after his metamorphosis. According to his latest official entry in the Handbooks of the Marvel Universe [18] Williams can fly at speeds in excess of 700 mph.

Immortality: Williams is functionally immortal. Because of the ionic energy that empowers him, he no longer ages and is immune to disease and infection. This same energy sustains Williams' physical vitality far more efficiently than the biochemical process that sustain ordinary human life. As a result, he no longer requires food, water, or oxygen.

Ionic Regenerative Healing: Williams' ionic form can heal itself from gunshot wounds, surgery, and even severed limbs. This allowed him to constantly survive death more often. This may be so because he has no bones, blood, or organs, and he is a being of pure ionic energy, allowing him to reform after any injury.

Energy Manipulation:  In his energy form, Williams learned he had the ability to emit Ion energy blasts of devastating force from his hands and eyes; shown before his death at the hands of the Kree Empire.

Strength Level: Class 100+. It has been suggested throughout his career that he is almost as strong as the Sentry; it has also been suggested that his strength is equal to that of Thor. For example, originally both were listed as class 95 in the handbook, although this scale is only for comparisons between characters, and not to be taken anywhere near literally.

          Weaknesses:

Energy Weaponry: As he is an ionic energy being, Williams is susceptible to attacks that disrupt his unique energy pattern. Dispersion would be hazardous, as he might not be able to reform without further assistance from the Scarlet Witch. During the Kang Dynasty however, he was dispersed by one of Kang's weapons and was plenty capable of reforming himself on his own after traveling a great distance to avoid being discovered alive and making a grand escape, so this is unlikely. Williams can however, be rendered unconscious and it is possible for him to be injured.

Sanity: He has shown some mental breakdowns that lead to him attacking the Avengers multiple times after he began to believe that everything bad was caused by the team.

          History:

          Early Life

Simon Williams was the younger of two sons born to Sanford Williams (an industrialist who founded the highly successful munitions factory called Williams Innovations). When his older brother Eric Williams declined his father's offer to join the family firm, Simon, the more studious, less athletic of the two, readily accepted. When Sanford Williams died, Simon inherited full control over the business, although he was only 22. Under Simon's inexperienced management, Williams Innovations began to lose its competitive edge in the marketplace to such rapidly growing firms as Stark Industries. Desperately, Simon sought his brother's aid, and the elder Williams agreed to offer his advice. Eric suggested to Simon that he embezzle some money from the company in order to invest in some business enterprises Eric had gotten wealthy from, namely the illicit racketeering run by the criminal Maggia families. Desperate to save his father's business, Simon did as his brother suggested. His company’s board of directors discovered his embezzlement and Maggia connection, and Simon Williams was brought to trial.

          Masters of Evil

Found guilty and facing a prison sentence, Williams was released when Amora the Enchantress paid his bail and enchanted the authorities. Baron Zemo had read of Williams' case and, intrigued by the newspapers' assertion that he blamed Tony Stark for his downfall, dispatched the Enchantress to recruit Williams for the Masters of Evil. (Zemo believed Stark to be the employer of his enemy Iron Man; in fact, Stark was himself secretly Iron Man). Disoriented by the upheavals in his life, Simon Williams agreed to accompany the Enchantress to Zemo's South American base.

          Wonder Man

Williams agreed to become a test subject for Zemo's "ionic ray" treatment, a process that would endow him with superhuman strength and durability. After undergoing the arduous chemical and radiation treatments, Williams emerged with the attributes he was promised. Zemo then gave him a costume, dubbed him Wonder Man, and outlined his plan to use him to defeat his foes the Avengers.

To ensure Wonder Man's cooperation, Zemo told him that a side effect of the treatment that gave him his superhuman powers was that it altered his metabolism so that he would die within the week unless he was given regular treatments of an unspecified antidote. Not wishing to die, Wonder Man agreed to Zemo's plan and in a staged battle with the Masters of Evil, he won the confidence of the Avengers.

          The Avengers

When he explained to them that he was dying, the Avengers accepted Wonder Man into their ranks and unsuccessfully tried every means of science known to them to cure him. Soon Wonder Man led the Avengers into an ambush by the Masters of Evil. In the course of the battle, Wonder Man had an attack of conscience and decided that he could not betray the Avengers kindness to him, even if it cost him his life. Deprived of Zemo's life-prolonging treatment, Wonder Man succumbed to the mysterious side effect of his power acquisition. Telling the Avengers that he was glad that his final act was a noble one, Wonder Man fell still, displaying no vital signs.

Although the Avengers assumed that he had died and brought his body back to the United States for identification and burial, Wonder Man had actually gone into a deathlike coma brought on by the still unstable mutagenic changes triggered in his body. Sometime later, Williams' brother Eric, now known as the criminal Grim Reaper, retrieved his younger brother's body. The Reaper wished to use his brother's cryogenically preserved body to bribe the Vision, the android whose artificial brain was cybernetically programmed with the memories and behavior patterns of Simon Williams[3], into betraying the Avengers[4]. The Grim Reaper tried to convince the Vision that his consciousness could be transferred into Wonder Man's body, giving the Vision a more human form. Later, the Reaper claimed that Wonder Man could not be resurrected and offered to have the Vision's consciousness transferred into Captain America's body instead. The Vision pretended to go along with the Reaper's scheme in order to help the Avengers apprehend him.

          Revival

The Grim Reaper managed to escape after the incident, however, and took with him his brother's seemingly lifeless body. Now obsessed with the idea of reviving his brother by any means whatsoever, the Reaper took Wonder Man's body to New Orleans hoping that the local Houngans (voodoo priests) could resuscitate it. Led by the Black Talon, the leader of their voodoo cult, the Houngans used their magic's to reanimate Wonder Man, but as a mindless zombie. Frustrated by the imperfect result, the Grim Reaper had the Houngans instruct the semi-living being to accuse the Vision of "stealing" his mind. He then packed the body into a large crate and shipped it to Avengers Mansion. When the crate was opened, Wonder Man indeed did as he was bid, but to no real effect.

The Avengers subdued Wonder Man and followed him to New Orleans to investigate what had happened. Curiously, as Wonder Man began moving about again and after having been exposed to the powers of the Living Laser, he began shaking off the effects of both the Houngans' magic and Baron Zemo's detrimental radiation treatment. Within a few days, Wonder Man was conscious and fully functional once again, much to his surprise. The Avengers later examined him and learned that he had simply been in a coma while his body was fully metamorphosed from one of flesh and blood to one of an unspecified superhuman flesh-like substance nourished by ionic energy instead of blood.

Wonder Man suffered considerable psychological trauma adjusting to the change that had come over him as well as his memories of being "dead." During the initial months of adjustment, he resided at Avengers Mansion as a guest and frequently lent his aid to the team. Despite his vast strength and resistance to injury, Wonder Man dreaded the thought of dying and facing oblivion again, and was often overwhelmed by cowardice in life-threatening situations. Finally, while battling the near-omnipotent Korvac, Wonder Man was able to master his fears long enough to live up to his full potential. However, he still felt twinges of the same irrational fear from time to time, Unable to vanquish it completely. He was eventually re-elected to membership in the Avengers, and became close friends with his fellow Avenger the Beast.

The Grim Reaper, learning that his brother was now conscious and no longer zombie-like, stole into Avengers Mansion, subdued the Avengers, and held a mock trial to determine if this Wonder Man truly was his brother. Satisfied that Wonder Man was his brother brought back to full life, the Reaper planned to kill the Vision, whom he saw as an inhuman mockery of his brother. Wonder Man fought his brother to save the Vision and defeated him. The Avengers committed the Grim Reaper to a mental institution but he eventually got free. The Reaper was now convinced that despite the evidence of the trial, Wonder Man could not be his brother for his brother would never lift a hand against him. Thus both the Vision and Wonder Man were mockeries of his brother who must die. The Reaper made another attempt on the two that ended in failure.

          Leaving the Avengers

While living at Avengers Mansion, Simon Williams decided to seek employment in order to give himself something useful to do and so he was not financially dependent upon the Avengers. Having no inclination to go back into a business where he had faced his greatest humiliation, he determined to become an actor, since he felt that during much of his time with the Avengers he was only acting at being a hero. His steadiest work was as a strongman on a children's television show. He eventually quit the job and also terminated his Avengers' membership during a major reshuffling of the roster. Unable to get decent acting work, he accepted a job at Cordco Incorporated as a troubleshooter and security consultant. He only lasted there a day before deciding to move on. Heading out to Los Angeles, he decided to exploit his nearly indestructible body by doing stunt work for the movies. He was highly successful at this, and soon began getting acting work as well.

          West Coast Avengers

When Hawkeye went to Los Angeles to form the West Coast Avengers, Wonder Man was invited to join the team. Despite certain qualms about living up to the Avengers' standards, he accepted. While helping the team in its struggle to establish its own identity, Wonder Man began to come to terms with himself and his role as a hero. Impressive victories over such foes as Graviton, Ultron, and his brother the Grim Reaper served to bolster his self-esteem, and his stunt work served to remind him just how impervious he was to mortal danger. His turning point came when he went on national television to announce that he was guilty of the embezzlement charge brought against him years ago and that he was sorry about it. Released from the grip of this personal devil of his past, Wonder Man was gratified when the public gave him a vote of confidence for his candid admission. He has also come to regard the Vision as a surrogate "twin brother" due to their psychological similarity.

Simon's confidence continued to increase with each victory. Suffused with ionic energy, he began to feel as if he were immortal, until the explosion of a Kree ion-cannon dispersed his body's ionic energy. But Wonder Man's mind lingered. His love for Wanda Maximoff, the hex-casting heroine called the Scarlet Witch, tied him to the mortal plane. Her love for Simon enabled Wanda to channel the chaos-energies she wields to bring Wonder Man back to life. Feeling unworthy of a second chance due to the mistakes of his past, Simon sought to reclaim his dignity and sense of self-worth. To help those overwhelmed by forces beyond their control, he established Second Chances -- a non-profit foundation funded by the re-release of his movies and videos, plus countless new projects and endorsements. Finally free of his personal demons, Wonder Man became a confident, capable crime fighter and staunch member of the Avengers.

          Civil War

After the Superhuman Registration Act was passed, Simon registered and so became an officially sanctioned S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, tasked with hunting down and capturing unregistered superhumans. He followed an Atlantean agent to a warehouse, finding it to be a stockpile for Atlantean weaponry. Shortly after, Simon tried, unsuccessfully, to defend them from an attack by the Green Goblin. After embezzling money from his own charity he was coerced to do even more work for S.H.I.E.L.D., possibly as a way to seek pardon.

Wonder Man was pressured to work for the pro-registration side in the ensuing Civil War drama. In addition to capturing renegade vigilantes and criminals, Wonder Man was instrumental in creating televised messages to educate the public and yet-unregistered superhumans about the specifics of the Registration Act. He was one of the first established heroes assigned to lead the Fifty State Initiative training program for inexperienced hero recruits along with Ms. Marvel and various other former Avengers.

Iron Man and Ms. Marvel recruited him into the Mighty Avengers, a team of registered superhumans. During his time as one of the Mighty Avengers Simon began a romantic relationship with Ms. Marvel; warning her, however, not to use her position as leader of the Avengers to keep him out of potentially dangerous situations just because of their relationship.

Simon participated in all of the group's activities, such as opposing the Mole Man's bio-creations, an Ultron-infected Iron Man, an alien symbiote-mutated New York, arresting Doctor Doom, an attack orchestrated by the Hulk and his Warbound, and opposing a full-scale invasion by the Skrulls.

          Dark Reign

Following the events of the Secret Invasion, Norman Osborn created a new team of Avengers, effectively retiring Wonder Man. Wonder Man later appears on television, lamenting his tenure as an Avenger, claiming it was all a waste of time, and that using violence to uphold justice has caused nothing but heartache and death. He ends his speech by sadly admitting that having Osborn in charge is exactly what the country deserves. After this, Wonder Man is imprisoned as a member of the new Lethal Legion.

Wonder Man has been seen alongside his old West Coast Avengers teammates, Ronin, Mockingbird, Tigra and War Machine in battle with a new version of Ultimo. After Siege, Simon was the only former Avenger to refuse Steve Rogers's invite to his Avengers, going so far to say "I hope you change your mind, or I'll have to change it for you." Simon later attacks the newest Avengers team during their first meeting, doing a great deal of damage to the uppermost floors of Stark Tower and destroying Noh-Varr's prototype time travel device before the Avengers can rally themselves and force him to teleport away.

After their first mission together, Bucky and Tony find Simon and attempt to convince Simon to rejoin. Still, he adamantly refuses, but is halted in his rant when Tony points out that Simon's body is becoming unstable and "leaking" his ionic energy. This suggests that Simon's current state may be caused by his body's instability, and not any real mental choice.

          The Revengers

Disillusioned with the Avengers after their numerous failings, Simon felt the team was the cause of more harm than good. Organizing a group of lesser-known heroes, he informed them of the failings of the Avengers, and his own views, convincing them the Avengers had to be stopped.

Targeting Avengers Mansion, the group waited until Danielle Cage, daughter of New Avengers members Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, had left the mansion. With the entire roster of New Avengers present, Williams felt it was time to attack, with Atlas leading the charge. Overwhelmed, the New Avengers briefly held their own before being overwhelmed by the Revengers. With that team defeated, Williams set his sights on their next target: Avengers Tower... home of the main Avengers team.

Atlas attacked the Avengers Tower only to get the attention of the team, because they called a press conference at the court, where the Avengers appeared to confront them. After failing at discuss with Wonder Man, Iron Man trapped him in his ionic form in a containment unit. Not willing to fight with too many civilians near, Thor teleported the Revengers to the Citi Field, where they where subdued by both The Avengers and The New Avengers and later imprisoned.

After talking with Beast, and warning them, telling them what he thinks, Simon vanished from his containment unit.
