I know these are not exactly anime and they're still way off, but damn they're much hype ;D

Diablo and Overwatch are getting an animated series.

Warhammer 40k is getting an animated series.
PM box is open. So is my discord: Sain#5301

Okay I'd totally be up for seeing an Overwatch anime.

Caught up on the Dorohedoro anime (missed the last few episodes due to being sick) and man... while the art sadly loses the cool scratchyness of the original manga, everything else so far has been nailing it. Especially on the voice acting and music department.

Also each of the show's EDs have been absolutely stellar. I still prefer the first one (Who Am I?) but the newest one (I'm So Hungry) is definitely a close second

Demon Slayer.

This is a series I have heard people bragging about and of course saw the main girl take the internet by storm with cosplays. After sitting down and watching a couple episodes...its just amazing.

The protagonist is an honest breath of fresh air for me (Can't say he is for others). A kind soul that's not a dense idiot, but someone that uses his head to work his way through his problems. He doesn't come off as a pushover when someone rages at him. Plus he had to train hard for 2 YEARS how often can we say a training arc takes a protagonist that long anymore in today's shows? (Probably a bunch more then the stuff I have watched but still! It means something to me after how Star Wars and Seven Deadly Sins handled training arcs)

I like some of the older ones: Akira, Ninja Scroll and Ghost in the Shell.

I've actually been watching BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense and am actually enjoying it. The characters always seem to make me smile, even when they get some strange new ability to make them into a huge ball of wool, or eating some monster that they can't beat normally....

I am woefully behind on my anime-watching, but I just discovered "Overlord", and I am loving it! :D It's such an original concept, having the "hero" play the villain or "overlord" of the story. And I adore Albedo. >:)

I might even order the light novel it's based on! :D
... Babe of the Bounteous Bosom, Mistress of the Comma, Saint of Submission, Her Succubian Majesty, the Non-Prescription Viagra, The Beauty with the Booty, The Hussy Who is Busty, Curvaceous Muse, Hopeless Romantic, Horny Marshmallow, History Whore, Captured Maiden, Innocent Angel, Sex Kitten, Dutiful Daughter, Nubile Nerd, and One Wordy Wench. 💗

The light novel is pretty good, but I have every volume of the manga, and the art is GORGEOUS. I actually feel that's the superior version of all its adaptations.

Great, now I'll have to order that too! ;D

Glad there’s a post for this! Excited there are like minded individuals. Things I’ve watched lately are Darwin’s Game, Devil Survivor 2, Golden Kamuy(Surprisingly loved it) and a few others that aren’t coming to mind.

Recently rewatched Made in Abyss and Overlord. Both out standing in their own respect. I sincerely hope they don’t leave us on those cliff hangers.

I am stoked that we are FINALLY getting a third season of Log Horizon.

I just finished Season 2 a while back! I kept drifting away and coming back over and over again.

Me too! I feel like I've been waiting forever, and it sounded like it may never happen, but now it's going to! ;D

I've been watching Overlord recently thanks to having my interest peaked from watching Numbskull's Abridged of the same series. I'm falling in love with the character and the plots.

Yessss. Even though it’s kind of like a pointless struggle to watch in the sense that he can’t be beat, it’s still fun to watch the clever planning, the accidental planning and how he struggles to stay ‘in-character’ at times bahaha.

Haha, yeah! Although I'll definitely say that Overlord does an overpowered main character justice.

Just finished Konosuba, and I loved it.  :-) Apart from the comedy, I think the other thing is that the characters feel very real, for all that they're exaggerated parodies of fantasic character archetypes. They strike a balance where they're terrible enough people and fail often enough that they're funny, but don't take either so far that they just become hateful or annoying--I was able to both laugh when things went horribly wrong for them, and cheer when they actually managed to pull together and be effective fantasy heroes.

Next on the list is Gundam Unicorn or Demon Slayer. Maybe the Monogatari series if I can actually figure out which series I'm meant to watch first and where to find it.

Hello, all!
Im currently stuck in BNHA (because I lost Hulu access when I moved out of my parents’ place rip).

I’ve watched about 1.5 seasons of Tokyo Ghoul, made progress in Boruto and Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, have no clue if I ever finished Bleach, and have watched one season of 7Seeds.

I’m currently watching No Game No Life and High Score Girl.

I think the only anime I’ve actually finished recently are Demon Slayer and Dr. Stone and  Ultramine Magmell. I loved it. I also am a fan of Danganronpa and have numerous fanmade videos for it. I’m also a huge fan of No.6 and managers to trick my sister with the ending when she watched it muahahaha!

If you want to recommend anime...I like my anime filled with action and my manga filled with (gay) romance.

Andol

Well Jacob... I have an anime for you... It is called Jojo's Bizarre Adventures... it has all the action and homoerotic manly tears you could want in your anime.

Oh and you seem to be a person of culture as well... watching Demon Slayer and Dr. Stone. Tell me do you read the Demon Slayer Manga?

jacobsenia

I’ve heard about JoJo’s bizarre Adventures and have been debating trying it just because some of the stuff the fandom makes seems hilarious (and I feel like it’d be even more enjoyable if I’d seen the anime lol).
I’ll have to add it on my list of anime to watch now that someone has finally recommended it to me.

I think Demon Slayer and Dr. Stone both capture my taste in anime perfectly: action + comedy. Naturally there are anime that don’t fit in that combination that I’ve liked, but I will almost never turn down a funny action-filled anime.
In response to your Demon Slayer manga question, I haven’t read it. I like to either read the manga or watch the anime for a series. Never both.
It never fails, I end up hating an anime because I compare it to the manga too much (as an example, I read Vampire Knight pretty far into the series back in high school, but hated the anime because it was too different. Even though it was just minor changes).

Andol

I can tell you I started reading the manga for Demon Slayer because one of the cliff hangers was too much for me. I just had to know what would happen next and I can at least tell you from my perspective that the anime follows along with manga rather well even if it feels like it is getting towards the end.

Dr. Stone though...  I feel off the wagon with the Manga, but decided to stick with just watching the anime. Easier that way to be honest...

jacobsenia

Sadly, cliff hangers never bother me much because I almost always stumble on spoilers soon after lol. I know stuff that’s apparently going to happen in BNHA that I haven’t even seen (rip).

I’m not sure if I could see myself enjoying the Dr. Stone manga. It’s probably the only anime I watch dubbed right now, and I really enjoyed how funny it was in the dub.
I’m probably just gonna stock to romance manga for when I’m reading. Just personal preference, I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
