word disassociation game

As popularised (and possibly invented?) by the BBC radio program "I've Sorry I Haven't A Clue", which gave the rules as follows:

Players may say any word as long as it has no connection whatsoever to the previous word. This is surprisingly difficult to do.

You may challenge a player's word by pointing out a relationship to the immediately previous word. 

Everybody playing this game is going to expect to have their words challenged, but please be polite!

Ooh, clever.  You mean a supernova in an alternative fantasy universe, right?  You can't mean a supernova in this universe, because all the atoms in ergot come from supernovas (except some of the hydrogen).
