The Music of the Night.... (M seeking F)

So after a few viewings- and a lot of singing in the car-  I've come to rather enjoy Phantom of the Opera very much. Pondering a few things about the story, a thought came across. Would the events between Eric, Christine, and Raoul play out the same... if the genders were reversed? Would Christian be more susceptible to Erica's dulcet tones as his angelic teacher? Would Christian run once he found out who's face was behind the mask? A number of questions along that line come to mind and I'll save you all the trouble of reading them. I would love to find a female partner interested in working out a more concrete story line to follow for this scenario and writing it with me.
