There is a niche here for everyone. Be warned though the atmosphere is more intoxicating than the drinks. You might forget the person you were when you first entered the doors. Though you might also like the person you've become."

   When John, Johnny to most of his friends, Wolfblood inherited the land of his forefathers, gifted to them by the white men who had taken so much from them in the past, the small casino and the vast amount land Johnny didn't think much of it. After all, he'd been distant from his parents.  Moving to New York he'd become a wealthy lawyer not wanting for money. Young, still in his twenties, Johnny felt as if he were on the top of the world. He had no worries, no woman had tied him down, he had no children. The world was his playground. As a single man he had the luxury of being able to save money. It wasn't until his mogul of a partner took a closer look at it that Johnny found himself back in the homeland of his people.

   A wealthy older woman, at 38 Vivian Porter is as fierce in the courtroom as she is in the bedroom. With a nose for business Vivian has dipped her hands in multiple things in order to grow her wealth. Vivian saw potential where Johnny did not. The little casino and gregarious amount of land, bringing in a dismal amount of money currently, was nothing but dollar signs to Vivian. Doing her research Vivian discovered just how much Johnny had inherited, vicariously, how much he could stand to gain if he had the funds and the right business partner. Drawing up the plans, blueprints, and business proposal Vivian withdrew half of her savings taking her plan to the younger man.

   Not a stupid man, Johnny found himself unable to see anything but profits from the plans Vivian had. Johnny took his own savings, sold his condo as well as his second car, and began turning her plans into a reality. They would turn that little casino into a grand one. On the land where there lay nothing but rock and dirt they would build an Oasis. A spot millions a year would visit and stay. It would take time, money, had work, and a little bit of WolfBlood, but they would build an Empire. What Vivian didn't know, being a human was that Johnny being of the WolfBlood was a werewolf and the resort spot she had chosen was on a supernatural hotspot. Bringing in more than just humans.

   Five years later, the dream Vivian and Johnny had, became an up and running reality. People poured in everyday. Some stayed their entire summer at the resort and casino. It was no unfamiliar thing to see multiple millionaires at every table around you. With several attractions Blood Money Casino is not for the wife and kids, but the single man and perverted. The Casino's newest attraction being the troupe of lovely Burlesque dancers that put on a show every Friday and Saturday. Each month the numbers and dances change. Though there are other attractions the Burlesque hardly take away from them as they fall on different days.

Supernatural Beings

Vampires - They do not sparkle. At all, well some of them do but that's because of the actual diamonds they're wearing. While not killed by garlic or silver the sunlight does weaken and harm them, as their eyes work better than other creatures they are sensitive. Direct sunlight weakens a vampire who hasn't feasted on fresh human blood. They are basically that of a mortal. Not up to their typical speed and strength. They have retractable fangs and each has their own specific taste for blood as no two humans taste the same. They do not need blood to survive, but they do need it to maintain their strength. The older the vampire the longer they can go without blood. Vampires can age, those it is at their choice. Going a month without blood with age them physically.

Werewolves/Wolfblood - The Wolfblood clan got their name because of the gift they were given. Each son of the family, at a young age, is taken out into the woods by a cave and delivered to the oldest of werewolves. It is there that they learn to hunt, to be of the wolf, then on the night of the full moon they are given the gift. So far only two have died because of this. Werewolves are strong, much stronger than vampires though not as fast. Their senses are far better than that of any being on Earth. Most of them are male in the area. They are harmed by silver and change during the full moon. Nothing will stop this. Though the more changes they go through the more control they can exert over themselves.

Witches/Warlocks - Humans who have taken the time to learn of the ancient magic in their blood. More often than not they have abilities over one element. It's what they hone their training on. Though the things that they can do are limited. It ebbs away at their physical strength. It's almost impossible for a witch to place a spell or curse on a werewolf because they are strong physically and the curse they are under takes so much away from them. Most of the time inanimate objects and humans are the object of their magic.

Demons - Extremely rare beings. Demons are not often found among mortals as it is almost impossible to escape hell. The very few that have escaped tend to lay low, as they don't want to be sent back by Gabriel. There is one exception though. A human who has sold their soul in order to have a demon's soul embody them. The demon then takes over the body of the human with all of it's power, memories, and intelligence. Though they are now mortal and will, eventually, die and go back to hell. It's something not many demons will choose to do as they get 100 years of peace at the maximum.

The World Building has more information.
This will probably be a semi-fast paced roleplay. I will need any players who are interested to be able to commit to a post once every three to seven days.
There will be a Maximum of 2 main characters per player, the GM's are exempt from this as there will be a need to be in mutiple places at once with different characters. These would be characters that are required a CS.
There will be no God-Moding or forcing characters not your own into situations they cannot easily get out of or are uncomfortable with.
This will be a LGBT friendly zone!
We are all adults, if there is a problem let's handle it as such.

Personality:   Andy, as she prefers is a wonderfully bubbly woman. Very flirtatious by nature she knows how to please a man without ever touching him. Honest by trade Andy doesn't see the need to lie to anyone. If they ask her, her opinion they'll get something they might not like. A woman of very strong values Andy loves her friends as if they were her sisters. The girls she works with are some of the best and she pushes them, expecting nothing but the best. After all they paid well. People come to see them dance expertly, it's what they will see. Andy is a firecracker, never one to back down from a challenge. She has a sharp tongue and knows who to use it. Andy is a woman of dignity though, she dances for everyone to see but she does not take just anyone into her bed. She is also not swayed by money as the Casino puts the girls up with their own suites in the wonderfully expansive hotel. It's an entire area of the hotel for the full time staff only.

History: The daughter of a famous Russian Ballerina Andy was taught how to dance from a young age. Her mother taught her fiercely, making sure she knew all the proper techniques. Under the rigorous training of her mother Andy found herself the fast track to becoming a Ballerina herself. Her father, a freelance artist, knew she wasn't exactly having the fun her Mother had. He encouraged her to do what she wanted, it was her life after all. She didn't share her mother's love of the ballet though, even if she did love to dance. Instead Andy wanted to learn all different types of dance. Taking them all and incorporating them into something not usually seen.

Moving out to L.A. Andy found herself waitressing at a local bar that featured Burlesque dancers. With a love of dance fueling her Andy found herself enraptured and began dancing with the girls. Though she didn't find herself in the spot light, much, with them she found a home and a new found love. Over the next four years Anderson danced her heart out, watching girls go either from marriage, pregnancy, or drugs. She stayed though, stayed dancing her heart out and into a better position. When the boss retired Andy, and the troupe she now called her girls, found themselves without a club to perform in. IT didn't take long before Vivian moved into the kill. She hired the girls on the spot, with better pay, giving them rooms, and benefits. They would need to hire four more girls though to accommodate the huge stage they would be working on.

Four months later Andy was supervising twelve girls and choreographing each of the numbers from classics to new age and she's never looked back. When she was shipped off to boarding school as a teenager Andy had become a little withdrawn. She went to an all girls school and was often teased because of her pale skin and red lips. Girls made fun of her for being a ballet dancer. Even though she is beyond that part of her life Andy has never forgotten it. To this day she still dislikes all of the girls that she went to school with.


Likes: Dancing, Singing, the color Pink, being on stage, horror movies, dogs

Dislikes: Handsy people, disrespect, liars, the color orange, watermelon, 'goody two shoe women'.

Other: Andy hasn't been with a man in quite awhile. Instead she has a tendency to play around with the waitresses.

Personality: A silent man Leon is a listener by trade. The only thing he ever found true pleasure in was giving it to others. A friendly man willing to help anyone he feels needs it, often described as 'one of those faces' he prides himself on his self control. Though he is a proud man Leon isn't quick to anger. He doesn't get jealous easily either. He has strong morals instilled in him since birth. He doesn't believe in hitting women and will gladly through himself into the fray if it looks like a man is going to hit a woman. Leon doesn't say much, though what he does say he tries to instill as much wisdom in it as possible.

History: Both of Leon's parents died in a car accident when he was ten years old, his younger brother Scott, was three at the time. From that point he was raised by his strict Grandmother who made him go to Church every Sunday and Wednesday. He was to be clean and neat at all times. She was a strict woman, though a softy at heart. She never raised a hand to him or his little brother.  She was patient with Scott, as he'd been born with down syndrome. Though, in her old age, he was often too much for her to handle. Leon helped as much as he could but in the end they had to hire a live in nanny to help take care of Scott. Linda was a wonderful nanny, young enough to still play with Scott. She was patient and kind. A bigger woman though she always took time to make herself look professional.

As Leon grew, living in such a strict household, he found himself enamored with Linda. At the young age of seventeen he finally told her of the feelings he had been having. Not having much male attention Linda looked at the handsome young man and she took his virginity. Scott died the next Fall. Leon had been having an on and off again relationship with Linda. When Scott died though Leon found himself distraught. His brother had become much of his world. He did whatever he had to to make the younger boy smile. After Scott's death Linda took another job, moving away from Leon and his Grandmother. She left on good terms with Leon though and he was grateful for having met her. Even more grateful that she had let him touch her beautiful flesh.

After graduating high school Leon went to college to become a lawyer, like his Father had been. He quickly found it to be unforgiving work though and instead took a job up at a local bar. Finding a knack for it Leon switched schools and instead went to a culinary school. Learning how to cook, and then a bartender school where he learned how to serve drinks. He became a bit of a wanderer traveling from place to place, never staying too long. After all there wasn't a high demand for a bartender in the little towns he found himself.

On the reservation Leon happened across a cave, he'd been traveling for days and desperately seeking water. Despite not being a native the old man within the cave took pity upon him. Asking Leon about his past Leon opened up to him telling him all of that. After being in the wild with the man for a week he decided to give him the same blessing that he'd given so many before Leon. He sought out the job at the Casino, knowing that Johnny was a decedent of the old man. He was one of the few who had been okay with what would be going on in the Lounge. Since then he has seen quite a few things that he'd never imagined.

Likes: Cooking, drinking, watching others, Plays

Dislikes: Men who hit women, discrimination, overly thin women, blondes

Other: As the bartender of the 'Lounge' Leon sees quite a few people he would like to interact with though he is not allowed to.

As of right now, Ceralilly and I have no underlining plot. So it will be sandbox, for now. I do love organizing plots though  >:).

My only concern with sandbox games without underlying plots is that they tend to go every different direction and people drop because they get lost.

I played in a Anita Blake themed game a while ago that had a nice undercurrent plot that kept everone focused while letting them enjoy the sandbox.

I understand that, I've seen it happen. My co-GM and I just simply have t discussed it yet. There have been some technical issues. First my internet wasn't working, then her computer wasn't. Though now that you've mentioned it I won't be surprised at all if she bounces to me with one. If you've got any ideas I'd love to hear them though! Small plots on the side are always fun.

Occupation: Waiter in the “Lounge”

Personality: Clyde is normally a quiet, thinking type, that is until the stage is set and he becomes whomever he needs to be. Clyde was dubbed “The Chameleon” due to his constant fluctuating styles and dispositions. He is very intelligent, and this can lead to some very handy tricks of the trade (He is secretive, manipulative in the best possible way, and has a knack for interpreting people’s intentions). Micro expressions and signs of deceit, discomfort and distress come naturally to him and he has used this to help the Casino on several occasions. He started in the casino, but ended up getting too much attention as a black jack dealer, so Johnny approached him about being a waiter in the back. He has always made it a point to take himself wherever the wind leads him, as his mother would talk of following the adventure that only he could create on his own, so he decided to try it out. He has only been working for a few weeks in the Lounge, but has been at the Blood Money Casino for a little over 6 months.

History: He has an IQ of 158, though he refuses to go to Yale as his high end executive of a father pressured him towards. Instead, he dropped the multi-million dollar allowance, and became a wanderer. He would pick up waiting jobs here and manual labor jobs there, until he stumbled across the beautiful enchantress Vivain.

Description: He is flawless, 6'3', 180lbs of pure muscle, and blue eyes surrounded my lux brown curls.

Likes: Knowing how people and things around him work. He is curious to an extreme fault, asking questions of many varieties, whether appropriate or not. He loves beauty, art, music, and philosophy, though he rarely discusses it because he doesn’t want to be seen as overly intelligent; he just wants to be normal.

Dislikes:Filth, offensive smells, confusion, being denied an answer to a  question that he feels he needs to know.

Other: He may have a slight crush on a another employee that he sees often, but he would never hint at it, as he is very shy and unsure about the first move. He doesn’t worry about rejection as much as his secret being out.

Little Lilu

Name: Lilu La Lujuria

Age: 23

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation:Bisexual

Occupation: Bartender at the Lounge, Floats sometimes when needed so she has a lot of overall experience.

Personality: Lilu is confident and in charge; occasionally over sensitive, and an insatiable flirt. She does not believe that she will ever fall in love, because she was not born of it.

History: She grew up with her father. Her mother was an aspiring actress and left her with him three months after her birth. She was his “his bonus in life” because he and her mother had only been a drunken one night stand. He often wondered if she was really his child, but he loved her as such none-the-less. She developed a passion for and adopted his underground gambling fascination, which led her to meeting Johnny. She is working her way through University as an artist, and may once in a while she will do small sketches and paintings for the employees or customers.

Description: She is 5'2", 125 lbs, and curvy for days. She has D cup breasts. Aside from photo, her hair is long more often than not worn up or in a pin up design. When she does let it down it is a sight to behold. She also has a very secret tattoo hidden on her body in remembrance an old lover who passed away. She does not talk about her.

Likes: She likes pickles, dancing, Blackjack, winning every round of Hold Em’ Poker, Cherries, dark beer and clear alcohols.

Dislikes: Cliché girlie drinks, though she will scarf a Shirley Temple in a hot second, Obnoxious drunks, Entitled people (when they expect something from her), small tips for big service (which is why she stays mostly behind the bar.) Crying-She will more likely throw a bottle at someone’s head if they hurt her.

Other: No Bodily Fluids besides normal sexual fluids, Don’t call her Babygirl (That is the name her father calls her and it is special to her), She rarely talks about her past.

I have some photoshop work to do, but this is Lilu and Clyde. The CS's are basic so that I can broaden. I am torn between vamp, wolf, and mortal for the boy, and Lilu is a witch like her Penmaster! :-) :-)

I'm interested in the general idea, though I am a little worried on what we'd actually do within the game. If everybody is an employee at the casino, they're actually less likely to encounter each other since they're, you know, doing their own job; outside of a few overlaps that I worry will become heavy handed after a few uses. Then that means characters are meeting up after their shifts, and if we keep things within the casino setting -- people are getting off their job and sticking around at work to hang out with people.

I don't mean for this to sound negative, I do love the setting -- I would just like more information/direction on what players are going to be doing.

That being said: I had a drug dealer character I wanted to use in another game that flopped, he'd work pretty well here.

My two PCs are going to be guests, really, really wealthy, VIP guests who like to play really, really twisted, high-stakes games against one another and with other patrons and staff!

I've never read the Anita Blake series so the reference is lost on me. The Casino and reservation is not in Vegas. It's on an Indian reservation. Probably somewhere in Oklahoma. I wasn't specific for a reason. I didn't want anyone to say 'no, there's nothing like that there'.

I'm interested in the general idea, though I am a little worried on what we'd actually do within the game. If everybody is an employee at the casino, they're actually less likely to encounter each other since they're, you know, doing their own job; outside of a few overlaps that I worry will become heavy handed after a few uses. Then that means characters are meeting up after their shifts, and if we keep things within the casino setting -- people are getting off their job and sticking around at work to hang out with people.

I don't mean for this to sound negative, I do love the setting -- I would just like more information/direction on what players are going to be doing.

That being said: I had a drug dealer character I wanted to use in another game that flopped, he'd work pretty well here.

There would be no need for a majority of the employee's to live within the Resort then if there were major cities around. The whole point of it's location is that there isn't a big city around so you feel more secluded.

If that's how you feel, alright. Though I'm unsure about what's not defined to you as I've explained my choices. I think, part of the fun, is not having everything in a neat little box. Writing, at least for me, isn't about staying in that box. The game is, at the moment a sandbox so there is no plot. When Ceralilly feels better and is on less pain medicine she and I will talk about it.

Sexual Orientation: Bisexual ( Gives off a Dominant Vibe, Reluctant Submissive)
Occupation: Undercover Vampire Hunter. Posing as a security for the Casino.
Personality:

The best way to describe Stan is that he's persistent. While he may have a sense of charm in his gruff smile that is hidden by the gunpowder and grime, there is a definite dark side to him that often appears. A good day to Stan is coming home with his shirt covered in blood and caked under his fingernails and a fresh wooden stake with vampire blood dripping from the pointed tip. Nothing brings a smile to his eyes and a itch in his cock like a fresh kill. It's a sense of pride that keeps him driving and continued will to grow. A sense of maturity that keeps him from letting his pride to blow his cover. And a heightened sense of smell to scope out the undead and unworthy unloving.

While he often sides with Werewolves and Demons just to kill vampires, that doesn't mean he nessicarly likes the. The man will do anything to get the job done, even bedding a vampire and even bleeding himself to feed their desires. He's a man who is likely to make uncharacteristic friends - if it means that it will aid him in getting the job done. One thing that Stan does stand by is his loyalty, but it's rather hard to earn a spot on his loyal list. While most of his loyalty is saved for his pure and bright eyed sweetie back in Europe, it doesn't always nessicarly mean that his cock doesn't stray from time to time to find itself within a warm wet mouth or a tight hole to lead him to an orgasm.

Perversion would have to be one of his weaknesses. Always finding himself tempted by dirty and lewd deeds that would never be done at home. While he's a great man with an excellent sense of sex appeal and a gruff nature of protection - put him in front of a man or a woman with sex appeal or the temptation of something he's lustfully wanted to do for so long and he's hooked. Another weakness is that he's rather narrow minded in his ways and refuses to adapt in the long-term, even if he does go against his morals at times to get the job done. The last weakness would have to be the love he feels for his sweetie back at home. While he never mentions it to people, if someone had information on the woman he would be utterly defenseless and will do anything to save his sweetheart.

History:

As Stan likes to say, "Been killin' those blood suckin' fuckers for as long as I knew how to pick up a shotgun." He's not far from the truth. He comes from a long line of Vampire Hunters and for a while they did a decent job at making sure everything was in check. The exception is this Casino. The second it appeared on his radar, he rushed toward the Casino and with his charm and wit ... got himself a prime opportunity as a Security Guard within the Casino. While he often likes to spend his time romancing and flirting with various men and women of the establishment, he's often logging their mannerisms within his head.

Currently he is not reporting any information back to the other Vampire Hunters, because he wants to take this score for himself. His sweetie back in Europe believes in him and knows that he will rid the world of the most terrifying thing to her. He remembers the day fondly of when he met her. A woman hanging out in the alleys of Paris. The light yellow and breezy summer dress she was wearing as the sun began to set in the horizon. He watched this girl for a while, sitting at a bench overlooking the alleyway, until he smelled the dark presence of a vampire nearby. Coming to the rescue of the damsel and killing the vampire that was about to turn her into one of their own (the horror), he instantly found love and compassion with

We ARE accepting new players, but Fae is not a listed species, unfortunately. Is there another species you might be interested in? Perhaps a witch/wizard?

We have witches, demons, humans, vampires, and werewolves. :-)

I could probably work the idea with a Demon if there is still room for one of those -- The first page seems to suggest two different flavors of demon.

Are 'pure' demons too inhuman to pass as human? And do demons who got their body via a deal with a mortal have any powers, or are they entirely human?

If I went the latter route, would it be out of theme to say the demon possession has caused physical changes in the body?

Okay so, the demons are meant to be a rare item. Something that doesn't happen very often. They way thwt they work, they don't possess human bodies so much as house inside of them. They have some power but it is nothing compared to what they had before taking the human. They are not in any way impervious to harm though. They are very much mortal and can die as its just their soul within a mortal shell.
