Alice look up and raised her eyebrow. That definitly pulled a reaction from her. "You're kidding." she stated at the JFK thing. Her eyes shifted between all of them, waiting for the catch. When none came, she continued.

"Ooookay.... so why weren't we informed about this and what does this have to do about us now? We're retired, remeber? And no one... really.... knew about it."

"There was a mission which made the CIA decide to bring Hammerdown to an end. You weren't there, you were ill in hospital with...I can't even remember what," Tom said, biting his lip. "Saint-Claire's line was that our target was an IRA assassin in Ireland who needed to be dealt with to stop him slaughtering civilians. He wasn't, it was a journalist who'd found out who Saint-Claire really was and was about to expose his identity to the world. We were supposed to be Saint-Claire's hitmen, but when we realised we'd been deceived we refused and walked away...only for a bomb to rip through the journalist's house moment's later. We can't prove Saint-Claire was responsible but its a little too coincidental."

"When Hammerdown was closed down Saint-Claire vanished," the driver said. "We'd almost forgotten about the guy until we realised Elle Saint-Claire had suddenly become very interested in the team. Even if Leon is dead his daughter has very powerful friends, one's who might see a change in President as...helpful to their ultimate aims. We think they're taking out Hammerdown agents for two reasons: 1) we're the only people who know Elle's real identity and 2) you're the only ones who can stop a supersoldier."

Alice twitched somewhat at the mention of her being sick and missing out on the mission. It was not a memory that helped her pride any. She allowed the story to continue and her brow furrowed at the memory. She did not know these details. All she had been told was that Hammerdown was done. She turned a glare to Tom, indicating that he was going to be dealt one helluva silent treatment for a while. She turned to the driver when she spoke.

"Alright. So we infiltrate one of the most powerful companies that already knows everything about us, and who may have another project underway. That's fine!" she crossed her arms before her. "Due to recent knowledge, I'm in the mood for some ass kicking."

He nodded. "They're due some payback for what happened but Elle is no fool. We may have a lead though. Did you bring the files about Leon's original teammates?" he asked the driver, who nodded.

"There were four people in the original Hammerdown, including Saint-Claire himself," he said, handing over a black folder. "Radan Zaranic was a Serbian born hitman, said to be one of the most dangerous gunmen in the world. We know what happened to him, went back to the Balkans when war broke out and died in one of the last battles in Bosnia. Sean Tompkinson's fate is a mystery, he was Hammerdown's tech guy, native of LA. Went AWOL when the project was shut down and no-one's seen or heard of him since. Our potential lead is the most dangerous member of the group aside from Leon himself though," he said, handing a seperate folder marked classified.

"We don't know his real name," the driver said. "We only know him by the codename Saint-Claire gave him: Viper. Expert bomb maker, we think it was him who made the bomb that killed the journalist. We have good reason to believe he's alive and still working."

Alice bit the tip of her thumb as she contemplated what was being said. Her brain rushed with ideas, piecing them together. She did not doubt tha this Viper guy most-likely had some kind of tie with the recent events. Though there were so much unanswered questions. They needed more inside people.

"Techies are smart... they know how to erase their existance before an assassin does it for them..." Alice said in a thoughtful voice. "I'll place my bets that this Sean Tompkinson is out there somewhere. And he may be the best resource we got to not only finding Viper and get more information, but also to hack and infiltrate the Saint-Claire compound."

Tom nodded, looking up as he saw the driver turn down the dirt track that lead towards the safe house.

"One thing we can be sure of, if Elle is even half as smart as her father she won't have left the proof of what they're doing anywhere we can find it easily. We need to find out what they're doing and stop it before its too late."

Alice practically snorted before she turned her head to look out the window. After missing the last mission, she was deadset on getting some action this time.

"Alright..." she said as the house came into view. A homey feeling had crept itself into her. "So what do we do now?"

The driver stopped outside the house, leaving the car running.

"You two go make yourselves comfortable, once you've had something to eat and drink see if you can find anything on the CIA mainframe about what's happening. I'll go back to Sam and see if he's found out anything new."
