Thinking of uploading some art of mine...

Just what the title says: I trying to come back to drawing and I'd like to show some of this art around here. Partially because some of that art may be related to my stories, but mostly because you are all great people!*  ;D

The question is: how do I do it? Can I upload my art to Elluiki? Or should I use some outside site, like Imageshack, Photobucket etc.? Also, if so, then which of these sites is the best one? Do they have any limits as to what one can upload there - any limits on adult contents etc.?

Help me out, please :)

There are sites out there that don't have restrictions on adult content, but most of the popular/common ones you mentioned do not allow adult content.

I would recommend uploading to the Elluiki simply because that gives you better control over who sees it. However, note that you will not be able to link to those images outside of Elliquiy.

Another option would be to use Tumblr, which would allow you to use the image links outside of Elliquiy. Many of the racier and pornographic images populating the Finders & Seekers forum come from Tumblr, so there are no restrictions on adult content on that spectrum. If you're concerned about keeping your art private, you can set visibility of your posts as 'private'.

There are pros and cons to both. If you're only looking to share here, the Elluiki should more than suffice.

If you're looking to share your art on Elliquiy in a single place, you can create a thread in Art, Media, and Music.

One additional question: when placing an image in a post, how do you do this trick when the image is displaced as a miniature - that turns into big image when clicked? It'd make life easier for me... :)

Specifying a width or height parameter will automatically adjust both.

You can include both, though it's not necessary. Some people like to do that just so the numbers are clear.

You can also include padding around the image. The units are in pixels.

dA does have some restrictions on content, even under their 'mature' heading.  I'd look into those before going through the bother of setting up an account.
