Terminator; Concentration/Work Camp Chronicles, (Possible time travel) OOC

I got to thinking after doing some research on Wiki for whatever random reason, that and I'm reading a Terminator book at the moment lol, but I thought it'd be fun to try this since my last 2 ideas kind of flopped without ever getting off the ground.

Skynet has taken over.  With its launch of nuclear missiles across the globe, attacking Russia in its own defense to stop us from shutting the A.I. down, Ruissa counter attacked America almost immediately, resulting in the deaths of over three billion people.  The world has become a wasteland of itself.  Entire cities gutted to their core, becoming empty husks of their former selves.  Then the true nightmare started as Skynet began immediate construction of its HK units, Hunter/Killers that searched everywhere they could reach for any traces of human life, 'terminating' them on sight unless ordered to capture for Skynet's research.  New machines were created as the war rolled on, the success being based on humans that were found useful by the AI, kept alive in work camps as slaves, more than a few of them helping the machines that would kill them later when they became 'obsolete.'  This is a file on one of the camps we managed to smash our way through.  Reveiw it well because if the worst should happen and you are captured alive, this could save your life.

Basically, I plan to have this as a very dark and hopefully action oriented RP.  Romance, and the like, is more than welcome but expected where possible.  Humans are after all, an endangered species lol.  I'll be trying to play as the machine A.I. program, Skynet and possibly a variant on the Infiltrator unit seen in the newest Terminator movie.  We'll see how things progress though.  I'll have 2 CS Sheets going, but I am not looking for much in the way of machines, mostly humans unless i get a ton of interest for the more evil side lol.

Human Profile Sheet, required of all Tech - Com Soldiers and Resistance members before deployment...  (Also works for slaves in the camps.)

Side note, if you play as any of the main characters, I cannot stress enough that you stay true to character as they are shown in the movies, books, or otherwise please and thank you.  Otherwise, do what you can lol.

Appearance;  (Stick with what has been given already for any machine model and make is all I ask.  T 101 and T 850 are the same in appearance given the skin cover and all.  Otherwise, unless stated clearly that one can't be mistaken for anything else, go nuts. Wiki helps a lot lol.)
Capabilities;  (If using a predetermined model, such as a T-1000 or something, stick to what they are given as I've said before please.)

Not many terminator ones go on here, so I'm surprised to see yours. I would be interested. I assume you want more than one person to want to play it out. I could play the leader of an independant resistance group, based at a former national guard base.

Ain't that the truth lol.  Skynet is the perfect enemy really.  Smart, evil, and everywhere there is a computer or a machine of some sort, and with its army of HKs and other denizens of mechanized terror, there's nothing the A.I. can't do with enough time and resources.  I just hope I can pull it off.  Well, I hope to see a CS Sheet from you soon.

For those that don't know, work camps/concentration camps are machine controlled with terminations going 24/7.  Basically they are an upgraded form of Germany's own concentration camps if you want to think of them that way, which is scary to even consider how thorough and sadistic they were back then.  With cold and merciless machines running the show, the terror fact goes up substantially wouldn't you say?

Very true, only no mercy is shown, no human weaknesses to exploit to escape. Just cold, calculating, efficent planning and an enemy that is everywhere, able to look in on humanity in the camps. Will you have luddites in this one.
If you get some more people, I will put in a character sheet, and I'll hope that it lasts longer than a month, the usual lifetime of group roleplays.

Luddites, somehow that word makes me want to laugh except I know what it means in the Terminator universe.  Yes, more than likely since they are the scientist class more than not, willing to kill themselves after all other humans are gone, and do ANY research or anything in general to serve their machine masters.  Yes, I will definitely allow them in this story and I hope this lasts more than a month as well my friend.  Spread the word around if you wish and I'll try to do the same lol.

Very interesting.  I have a question though... SkyNet has as yet, in any movie, shown much concern for human life.  Even in Terminator: Salvation, humans were being killed off so that their skin could be harvested for use in the T-100s.  Granted we never see how the Terminator R&D department actually works, but I still find it a bit strange that suddenly they want to turn humans into slave labor.  Is it a perverse role reversal?  I don't think SkyNet would do it on a whim... so what's the real goal?  Just to use them to make a better Terminator?  Seems... a bit perverse.

It's actually in the books that they have slave labor going on if you want to know the truth lol.  I am just kind of combining, mixing and matching ideas from the books and movies.  In the books the humans were kept alive for a variety of different reasons.  Slave labor mostly and live subjects as well as dead are able to be studied extensively for a number of different projects that Skynet had going.  One of which was the Infiltrator program which started with a human female's eggs being harvested she was terminated, her wounds too great to sustain her and also because she had outlived her usefulness after that anyway.  The human had been a tech in training, having set up a signal jammer of sorts by herself on orders from her superiors.  Skynet wanted that ability to be able to work alone, as well as the full range of human interaction skills that went along, thus starting work on the I-950s, a mix of machine and human parts.  The machine parts were limited to a neural net implant that was surgically put into the growing infants skulls.  You read that right, these new machines were grown much like a regular baby, and with the neural net implants, they were able to be attended by Skynet at all hours of the day, always being fed information and training matching the requirements of their age and what Skynet wanted of them of course.  Dogs wouldn't warm to them but they wouldn't run away either, and they were very effective in blending in with humans at a level unmatched by any other machine to date.  They are fully capable of feeling emotions like we do, but the implants and other surgical upgrades, as well as DNA modification, controls their emotional outbursts considerably as well as giving them enhanced senses and being able to interface with almost any computer or machine.  For the purpose of blending in though, they still act like they use phones and what have you lol.

Sorry, I tend to ramble when I get excited lol.  Ask me anything you want cleared up and I'll do the best I can to answer.  Getting back to the original question, Skynet uses slaves to care for the I - 950s as they grow up until they can walk on their own and feed themselves and all that.  The growth is accelerated but anyway, besides the point lol.  They are also used as test subjects as I said before, or using them to help clear the bodies of the dead.  There are areas in any of its numerous camps that are supposedly unwatched that the A.I. has allowed the humans to use as mating areas when they do at all, observing their habits for educational purposes for its more intelligent machines as well as record relevant data for future use in whatever project it might find that kind of thing useful.

Ah, a fellow T2 lover lol.  You know exactly what I am talking about then.  Wikipedia has an entire section dedicated to Terminator and all of its variations, so check there for more info if you need it and I'm not around.  Anyway, still need several people and the possibility of heading back to the past is there as well, so if you would rather we started in the past or did a combination of both future and present, that is possible as well.  I may make a third CS Sheet if it's given enough interest, but until then we'll stick with what we got lol.

I have read most of the books, the other realities where skynet attacked at different years. I think I have a link to that already. I would be willing to be one of the ones going back in time, I did in one roleplay that ended too soon for reasons unknown.

I unfortunately only got a hold of the first Infiltrator book as far as the Terminator series.  I have read tons of books throughout my life, I just never have found the others to go with the one I have.  Oh well, it's no biggie, whatever I might need to pull this off Wiki has in some form or other lol.  And alright, if we do time travel and I get more interest for the idea, I'll be looking forward to it my friend.  Would you be human or machine is the only question I have as far as all that goes?  I don't care either way, just curious.

EDIT;  Also, while I am thinking about it, another of our hopefuls PMed me and asked a very good question with a prompt she had from a game like this that she had up way before I came along.  Basically since the I-950s are made with the sole purpose of blending in with the humans at every turn, they have to be educated in such things as much as 'humanly' possible.  What she outlined for me and I agreed to as far as the story goes is to have a bit of a class of sorts, Skynet being the oh so wonderful that he/she/it is, (sarcasm much lol), the I-950s would be made to have intercourse with live human 'teachers' to understand how it feels and how it's done.  Data streams of such acts can only go so far, as well as simulations can only simulate so much.  Actually doing it would give the experience needed to perform well for and if the need arose for any of the Infiltration units ever needed to do so.  Always have a backup plan is one of the ingrained lessons Skynet gives its machines as well as another unspoken one, always have your bases covered.  I plan to be 'smarter' I guess you could say as far as trying to do everything in my considerable power to portray the maniacal machine A.I. and its efforts to wipe out humanity lol.  Can someone say Non Con?  I can't decide though if it would be better in human or exotic is the only thing.
