A's Ideas, amended

[Aleph]

Ideas are fluid things. The ideas presented here, in spite of the amount of details that I include, or fail to include, can be quite malleable for someone who likes a plot but wants to add their own spin to it. They can also stand on their own, but I'm usually more excited by the idea of someone wanting to tinker a little too. Some of these ideas also have existing stories based off them, so keep in mind that if you are interested in a plot that I've already got a running story for, it's likely I'll want to spin it differently to what I have done with that story in the past.

If you aren't sure about what I've written (I'll confess that leaving things open-ended here has lead to some sentences being a little strained), or want to know more, or heck, especially if you like the ideas and want to open a storyline on one, there are two things to do:

About what I like in my writing:

• Plot and Character over Sex-Scenes: In spite of the libidinous slant of my ideas list, I really rather prefer heaps of plot and storyline over the bedroom scenes themselves. Of all my stories so far, my favorite scenes have been along the lines of the 'the first time boy meets/reunites-with girl', 'X realises they've fallen for Y', 'A is terrified they've lost B' type. Drama, it's fun when used for good instead of evil.
• Either role suits me: I'm familiar enough wiht the setup of these plots that I'm interested in taking either role.
• Open to all If you've taken the time to check this list, thanks! If you like a story but don't necessarily want to write with me or start a story now, I consider my ideas below to be totally open source. Feel free to grab whatever you want!
• Shorter sex scenes: Tease, build-up and after effects notwithstanding, I like it if we keep up the pace on sex scenes. It tends to make things drag a little if that's all we're writing about for 8-10 posts. In a way I put this down to my tendency towards concision (I tend to edit my writing downwards, not upwards!)

Ideas Persuant Of A Co-Writer!

In Dire Straits
Stars:

   Unlucky Girl (UG)
   Dubious Friend (DF)
   Current Alias: In Dire Straits with Rahzilla.

UG is in deep trouble. Her life has gone from tenuous to dangerous in a very short stretch of time. No home, job, family, boyfriend, you name it, it has evaporated. It has gotten so bad in fact that DF is her only fall-back position. While they had a tendancy to wind each other up, he did always say he'd be there if his friends needed it. Only... well, he was the sort of guy who had a dark sense of humour and given what he did work-wise, it would feel like a bad idea were it not the only option she currently had...

What's A Girl To Do?

What DF does is up to discussion though I lean towards owning a fetish clothing/design business or being a bondage rigger/photographer. Perhaps in the circle of friends they know each other through it's not something that's talked about much (at least to his face). Either way, she's at his mercy (for whatever value you prefer thereof) and may be surprised to find herself enjoying it her current predicament.

This wouldn't be too much of a non-con scenario, though perhaps a little at the start.

The Bailout
Stars:

   Engineering Heiress (EH)
   Charming Corporate Shark (CS)

EH grew up in her father's small but influential engineering firm. Some of the best names in their field were people she called Uncle as she helped Dad around the office. She had barely left college with degrees in business and engineering when EH's father died suddenly. Being an only child, everything her father owned passed to EH and it seemed only natural that she should take over; even if it did feel a little odd that she was now giving orders to men who'd watched her grow up.

In spite of the pain of her father's death, she had every sign of turning the business into something bigger. That was the moment, however, that the GFC struck. If it wasn't bad enough that the market was evaporating and less ethical companies were stealing her clients. Contracts the company would have taken easily were now out of her reach because the bread-and-butter contracts weren't there to fall back on. Looking over the office and the workshops, she began to realise some of the faces she'd come to think of as family were about to be retrenched.

Then came the phone calls, EH braced herself to hear offers to bailout the company. Expecting to hear about paltry sums to buy EH out of her father's company, promises that there'll be 'as minimal retrenchments as we can manage'. CS, who had a reputation for being brutal with failing companies, was one of the bidders. Except, his offer wasn't quite orthodox. Where others were promising 'minimal retrenchments' or 'good debt consolidation', CS was taking a different tack entirely. The only question EH had was what would she do to save her employees (and herself) from reading the 'positions vacant' ads?

What happens next?

Well, like all the other story ideas I have, CS is flexible enough to be a manipulative bastard or the story could be all romance from go to whoa. The EH however, being her father's daughter, will chafe somewhat at being under the control of someone else. Or will she? Maybe a little part of her wants to give up the control.

I should point out that while we should work out what sort of ...thing is being invented by EH's company, actually knowledge in the field isn't necessary. Dressing up buzzwords should work a treat as well as just skipping around the actual science-y bits. As for what it is? Chemical engineering producing a new pheremone system? Material engineering creating a new latex-like material for space suits? Certainly it's an idea that could be worked into the storyline.

As for what happens next, maybe CS is fronting the money to get EH's pet project off the ground. Once they have this money generating new invention, what happens to her father's company? Maybe there's some corporate espionage afoot to stop her project (and company) from seeing the light of day...

Mixing Business and Pleasure
Stars:

(Believe it or not, I got the idea for this from a TV commercial for cereal. Truefax.)
Each year, PB attends a training conference that takes place in a roaming location. This year it's on the island of <<insert suitably exotic name>>. A few weeks ago his secretary was lured away to a rival firm by the offer of Amazing Amounts Of Cash!! and seemingly out of nowhere, he's chosen WS to stand in for the conference. The bad news is that it has earned WS some bitterness from her co-workers. She's the quiet, hard-working one. The one who doesn't get involved in office politics. The one who lets other people take credit for her work, so why does she get the cushy holiday with the handsome CEO? It's not fair!

Being diligent, she does her best to make sure the boss' trip is planned to the last detail. While she may not be as ...presentable as the other women in the office, she'll make certain she's the best secretary PB could have picked. To PB and WS's delight, everything about the flight over goes without a hitch. WS notices her luggage feels a little odd after they arrive on the island, but she's too busy focussing on PBs itinerary to think much of it. It's not until she's in her suite and opens it that she realises something is horribly, horribly wrong.

This could also be combined with a story above titled "The Bailout"

The luggage...

Two things could happen... 1) The luggage was pre-packed and switched by PB who has all sorts of plans for WS over the conference. In fact, the conference itself could be little more than a front to change girls like WS into the sort of (very) personal assistants that bosses like PB want. Alternatively, 2) Fate has played its hand, and WS has the luggage of someone who was planning a dirty weekend totally innocent conference away with their manager. Either way, WS is about to discover a whole new look...

The New Office Girl
Stars:

   Punky Warehouse Girl (PG)
   Scheming Manager (SM)

If you observed the storemen working on the floor of Pygmalion Logistics (a wholly owned subsiduary of Pygmalion Science and Technology), you'd be hard pressed to spot PG. Maybe you'd point out that she was the shortest or the youngest, or perhaps that she was the most slender of the ground crew. From a distance you wouldn't see the long dark eyelashes that would give her away, the tomboy had so integrated into the crew that from a distance you wouldn't be able to spot any body language or treatment that would single her out. Yep, 'one-of-the-boys' would be putting it mildly and that was the way she liked things. Her life at home was a complicated one, she didn't want to make things difficult at work as well. So until -by some miracle- her entire life changed for the better, she wasn't going to risk the one part of her life where she was, at least, satisfied. Not happy, perhaps, but valued. Satisfied.

Home, by contrast, was not satisfactory. Her staid, conservative family had all but disowned her thanks to her rebellious streak, the people she called friends were boring, bitchy or both and unless he wanted sex, her boyfriend had two modes, "indifferent" or "busy". Both came with a side of passive-aggression. So for PG it was days spent keeping herself fit by moving boxes and nights spent wanting to go back to work. When a chance comment gives SM ideas about how PG's career could be improved, she finds herself going through a rapid set of changes, but where were these changes leading her and why was she suddenly horny all the time?

Step into my office...

If you know the origins of the company name, you'll have guessed that it was chosen with good reason and malice aforethought. The mind-control aspect is removable, PG could be harboring a crush on her bossto begin with, for example. It could also be a story of coercion, where PG fights a losing battle to tell herself she hates the changes SM is making in her life. It could also potentially be a mind control story, sort of. While mind control is usually god-modding at one remove. This level of control will be more of the 'directed compulsion' style. PG waking up one morning to discover fantasies she wasn't harboring previously or wanting to try things she normally hadn't paid previously thought to but can't figure out why...

Executive Stress Management
Stars:

   Wound-tight Executrix (WE)
   Oddball High flyer (OH)
   Current Alias: Private Affairs with Rampant Desires.

OH and WE are part of the same viper's nest of a Boardroom. To make matters more difficult OH is often dismissed as a loony and more than a few executives are uncomfortable with the idea that someone can wear a skirt and wield power like WE. When WE does OH an unexpected favor, he looks a little into her life and sees she's about at her limit keeping her sanity, managing to do her job and not be backstabbed for it. OH has some unusual methods for maintaining his sense of control in the world and he offers to assist WE with her stress levels. Sometimes you have to give everything up for a little while...

Can you see a theme of extremities forming here?

Another spin on my favorite theme of unusual D/s romances. The original idea was to put WE into a slow slide into a private world of D/s with OH as her tutor. Her submission and time spent not totally in control of everything allowing her to maintain her professional front by day. Lots of kneeling to someone in the bedroom by night that she's occassionally crossing swords with by day, and playing with how the two worlds mesh and/or hide from each other all the while.

Trouble
Stars:

   Mystic Gumshoe (MG)
   Reluctant Detective (RD)
   Current Alias: Secrets and Stars with Tinkertoy.

RD is forced to confront a dark side of her past when a string of murders force the police to bring in a little outside help. The local PD isn't all that great and, furthermore, have their noses put out of joint when a crackpot PI is brought in to investigate the gruesome crimes they're not getting traction on. RD is taken off being given the bottom-rung jobs to escort MG around since she's the only one in the office who'll take the job. As the clues build up though, what secret is she hiding that could hinder the investigation or worse, get them both killed?

Looking for a bit of a noir-ish theme here where RD is unwittingly a Dame-In-Trouble. While not the murderer, the killings take place against the backdrop of a time and place she wanted to avoid. I actually started this story elsewhere but sadly the trail went cold, if you'll pardon the detective story term ;) ). I'm looking for the underworld to include not only mafia and thugs, but things that go bump in the night as well.

Undercover
Stars:

   Host Dom (HD)
   Undercover Cop (UC)

Really haven't got a lot for this one yet, but it's a story that isn't entirely original around these parts. Given my enjoyment of action stories recently, it seemed an idea that might have legs. Someone is using a series of BDSM clubs as a front for criminal activity. A Dom who has friends in the police force is called upon to team up with a feisty female detective who's about to discover she's about to go undercover as his sub. Hijinks ensue. Admittedly, it's a bit like Trouble above but without the magic.



The Magician's Assistant
Stars:

   Mysterious Gent (MG)
   Hapless Understudy (HU)

HU, a scrawny young loner, is asked to housesit for MG who seems to travel frequently but whose line of work remains unknown. While poking around the house, the boy discovers boxes of clothing locked away, each with different names (previous housesitters). The sort of clothing inside is of a sort that would make most girls blush and while the gent is certainly too big for any of it, they're just the right size for a curious HU. Caught trying on the clothing by MG, his silence is bought with work. He has to spend the summer working for the gent.

The MG is a mage. Mages of MG's type are exclusively male. Hence, MG's library and more powerful artifacts are kept in a room accessible exclusively by a woman. That includes someone impressionable, blackmailed HUs who get magically shifted into being a female while they're working.

What a summer that was...

HU is a bully target at school, a little on the scrawny side, gets good grades but not much of a social life. The summer will be spent being MG's minion, wacky hijinks ensue. Of course, any minion's job includes doing pretty much whatever MG requests. Running errands, maintaining their library, keeping the MG happy. Of course, it may also be that HU discovers they quite enjoy the predicament and at the end of summer might decide to extend her employment.

The Junk Shop
Stars:

   Opportunistic Friend (OF)
   Unwitting Inheritor (UI)

An old, distant relative dies, leaving UI a junk shop and a large pile of money. He moves into the rather large apartment above the store and brings OF for company. The junk shop is so full of odds and ends that it's almost impossible to move around down in the shop so the first thing to be done once they're settled is to go through all the mess and sort out what's in there.

While poking around in the full-to-overflowing premises, UI finds a pair of pendants. Nothing happens with them until both are worn. One pendant changes the wearer's gender and appearance. It also makes them absolutely focussed on the other pendant wearer's needs and wants. This pendant can only be removed if either the Dom pendant wearer gives their permission or if they remove theirs first.

It would be awful if OF were to take advantage of UI's situation. Worse still if they were caught in public and UI had to explain who h-she was...

Hijnks ensue.

Was originally thinking of this as an unexpected dom/sub scenario, but there's farce elements too. OF's parents dropping by and meeting the 'nice young girl (hinthint)' who he's sharing the apartment with. UI and OF needing to come up with a cover story for her, pronto. Of course when their friends find out there's a woman staying with UI and OF, they'll want to meet her too...

The Girlfriend Experience
Stars:

   Belle du Jour (BD)
   Loner Neighbour (LN)

BD works as an escort and lives in a great apartment building but the body corporate like taking the moral high ground and are more than a little happy to try to boot tenants who don't meet their expectations. BD's attempts at discretion are almost ruined by someone (client, wannabe pimp?) trying to doorstop her. Her cross-hall neighbour LN, comes to her rescue, learns her secret but helps her keep it from the Super. What does a girl do to show her appreciation for the man who saved her skin and her job and her apartment?

What indeed?

Yep, totally ripped the idea from the film of the same name. LN is single, BD promises to be his girlfriend for a week. There are some rules, of course, but wherever he goes, she's there making him feel ten feet tall and the envy of all who see him. What happens though when the time is up and she/he/they don't want it to end?

The Same Faces
Stars:

   Jaded Conference Runner (JC)
   Bored Salesman (men?) (BS)

JC has been in the conference game for so long that she can name practically every concierge in every Hilton in every city in Europe. She practically lives in the hotels she works in and only working in the logistics of installing and tearing down conventions prevents her from living out of a single suitcase since an extra bag or two isn't going to be fussed over with the rest of their kit. She's doen everything from Accountancy seminars to comic conventions and a few stranger jobs besides but, it's all she's done for a long time. Her social circle is made of the crew she works with and anyone who she might remember from a previous gig. One night she's semi-flirting, semi-bemoaning her single, hotel bound fate to a regular on her scene, BS, when he makes a proposition....

What happens in <City Name>, stays in <City Name>

BS and/or JC might let slip that they have matching tastes. Maybe he starts off with something simple and sees how far he can push JC into his world. Soon JC is enjoying her job a lot more but mainly because she's looking forward to these assignations. Another possible twist might be that BS isn't alone, but representing a group of men with similar tastes.

Also, as I discovered recently, the setting could be change, maybe flights are delayed and two people are killing time in the hotel bar, etc.

(NB: Admittedly, there's not a lot of plot going on here unless we add something in, otherwise this could just as easily be done as a series of one-shots, especially if BS is representing a group of men.)

SuperSecrets
Stars:

   SuperPowered Woman (SW)
   Overquiet Sidekick (OS)

This fine city has two major costumed defenders. The best is the Guardian. Noble, squarejawed, strong, leaps tall buildings, etc. The classic superhero. Along with his sidekick, the moody Preston (OS), The Guardian defends against supervillans who would threaten his fair city. He's even been known to occassionally team up with other superheros in defence of their towns.
The other defender of this metropolis is SW. She's a fierce defender of her home with powers similar to Guardian's. She has a strong fan base who don't doubt her loyalty and either overlook or don't mind the risque outfit she wears. The people of this city sleep well at night and most kids have a poster of one superhero or the other on their wall...

Everyone has secrets...

SW's is her powers. They're tied to her muco-vascular system (I think that's the right term, could be wrong though). In short, the hornier she is, the stronger her powers are, so long as she can use her powers. Trap her and she's in a world of trouble as her power can start turning on her instead. Factor in that she's submissive in private and let's just say that on more than one occassion it's been a close call between a 20 vs 1 butt kicking and an organised crime revenge gangbang. Other than that, she's good at what she does and has as good a reputation as they get in the super community.
The Guardian, on the other hand, is a problem. He's arrogant, brash, prone to taking all the credit and is unutterably rude to his sidekick, Preston. And there's something just a little odd about the Guardian's powers. People have sworn they've seen him punch somebody only for them to go flying back a moment later, like their timing was off. It's not anything one could prove but, rumors persist nonetheless.

The actual plot? It can vary but I figure either

• Something big comes for their town that the Guardian runs from.
• The Guardian finally meets something/one that can wipe the floor with him, and does.
• The Guardian himself turns out to be the problem.

Either way, OS and SW have to deal with it together.

Returning The Favour
Stars:

   Elder/Estranged Family Member (EM)
   Younger Estranged Family Member (YF)
   Current Alias: Jagged Threshold, with Wistful Dream.

YF was a nice kid, but her father died just after she was born and the string of men who courted her mother afterwards ranged from the indifferent to the predatory. The only exception to that list, EM, found her in the worst possible mental and physical shape but refused to treat her with anything less than love and respect. By the time YF's Mother finally drove him out of the relationship, EM had left his mark on her. YF studied harder, she went to the gym, she started to carry herself like somebody cared.

It took years and a late-night, drunken rant on the part of YF's mother to discover the only reason EM had hung around as long as he had was out of a desire not to abandon YF. Sadly, leave he did and the promises to stay in touch couldn't stand up to the Fates. The emails thinned out, and while YF always had his contact details, the dreaded emergency in which she might call never transpired.

Now an adult, YF has graduated top of her class, even if not necessarily top of the social pile.

What if their paths were to cross with him again?

Probably easiest as a straight up romance, though other elements are easily thrown in, YF gets a chance to repay all the kindness EM had shown back then. Although this could be an age-play-esque ex-step-dad/daughter scenario, it could just as easily be the former big brother she bumps into once again.

The Serum
Stars:

   Head Scientist (HS)
   New Recruit (NR)
   Last Known Alias: The Serum, with Secretwriter as my co-writer.

Working in the high tension realm of a world-class biochem laboratory, two scientists are working on a drug that could wipe out entire classes of mental illnesses. What happens if one of them should happen to discover (the hard way) that in it's current state it produces a high level of suggestibility and sensitivity, not to mention playing merry hell with their libido? More to the point, what will her research partner do when they find out as well?

Taking a deep breath...

As fun as they sound, I've never quite got how mind control games worked, they seem to run the risk of having the hypnotised parrot the mesmeriser for most of the story. So the slant on that trope here is to run along the line of a plot device that alters mood and attitude. Thus the uptight become more relaxed, or inhibitions once held well below the surface come bubbling to the top without anything restraining them. So it is here. The serum HS has accidentally ingested has wiped her ability to resist temptations she would normally steer clear of. The fun bit is making sure it all happens without either HS or NR losing their jobs, professional reputations or claims to the patent for the serum itself....

Fallout: The Lost Tapes of Jenny Flagg
Stars:

   Shady Dealer (SD)
   Intrepid Adventurer (IA)

I know that elsewhere I said I don't do fan-fic, but I have this shapeless idea that had provoked my interest, blame it on my O/O list, Fallout 4 and having only recently seen LA Confidential and The Notorious Betty Page.

In the times before the War, Michael Raben was famous in certain underground circles for his studio, the Rabbit Hole, and the holotapes it produced. Well hidden from the (somewhat prudish) authorities, Michael and his host of models produced discerning videos for the private customer. To put it bluntly, he made stag films that veered into fetish and BDSM. The wilder videos more often than not starred Jenny Flagg, a stunning model who appeared in many of Raben's films.
Collectors in the post-apocalyptic wasteland pay high prices for these holotapes and rumors persist that there are far more tapes out there waiting to be found...

SD hires IA with a brief to explore what may not be just a cache of films, but the very Rabbit Hole itself!

Down The Rabbit Hole

Essentially what I'm doing here is injecting Betty Page and the Irving Klaw studios into the Fallout universe, but the story could go a number of different ways. For one thing, IA might be working on her own, SD may either not exist or exist as an AI in the studio, Michael Raben's electronic ghost, working through intermediaries. In terms of plot...

* IA discovers the studio, finds the tapes and is encouraged to make new tapes since all the equipment, costumes,etc. are there.
* New tapes are being made by raiders, with content far darker than the originals, IA is on the hunt to find the Rabbit Hole's new inhabitants.
* The adventurer being hired is attractive and works solo, maybe it's a setup to make a new star for the studio, either by an AI or the raiders?
* Maybe the Rabbit Hole itself is empty, and we can do flashbacks of what happened in Jenny's final films.

Hmm, it's rare that I'll see a pic and have thoughts about plotlines, but I saw this one and ..yes....still mulling this one over.
