Apologies if I messed things up, but I'm no longer 100% I'll be able to keep up and don't want to mess things over for everyone else.  This is a game where the exact pairing is important, so I'd hate to vanish.

Kerri's absolutely correct - dropping during the start-up, before the game actually starts playing, is massively preferable than losing you a week in. No apologies are necessary. =^_^=

I could possibly play a bi-curious female, that might make it have more options for a lesbian character if needed, or if you still need a male I can still do that. I will continue to wait and see what is needed then fill in the slot.

With the weekend nearing, I might not have a chance to log in much on Saturday and Sunday (I am never really sure if I'll be able to be here much then). So if you want to pm me with whatever type of character is needed once it's fully known, that would be great. If not, I'll keep my eyes out for updates and where you want me to fill in. Thanks.

Well...if I may put 2 cents in...I suggest we don't need an actual balance of M/F participants.  Just that the TV show would...you see.  There can be a certain amount of NCS (is that the right acronym?) activity...put some males in one's post that don't actually have an "Owner."  You see...or is that frowned upon.  Also, 2 females pairing up (perhaps to a degree) might level things out.  Yes?

Either way, I agree, we probably need one more male.

Unless we have a strong flurry of character applications and new players, it's not looking like we're going to be ready to start this weekend, so I'll be pushing it back to Wednesday or next weekend, at the soonest. Don't feel the need to rush on your end. =^_^=

Non-player-characters for games like this are usually not a good idea, because there's a different dynamic. If all else fails, and we can't get any more male characters signed up, I could always kick Greytrail to the curb as a player, not a GM.  >:) Or make Greytrail do a hybrid player-slash-semi-GM thing...

The bi-curious in and of itself is workable, but does limit prospects a bit. So, we'll keep working at finding a good fit. We're all creative people here!

May I ask how it limits things? I would think that it would make for more drama. A bi-curious character would perhaps play the field on both sides, needing to make a decision that could/would cause drama.

On the contrary. That's exactly the sort of thing this game needs - characters that are unsure of themselves in some ways.

We'll call it an 80% "yes" at the moment. As Greytrail said, we're all creative people, and we can make this work. =^_^=

And yes, you're absolutely right that it's drama that could keep this game going, with even the voyeurs reloading to find out what happens next. ;)

Rereading over some of the posts, I think I do need to make one thing clear - just like most of the other games, this is going to be about sex between the characters. The original premise is just somewhat of a brake to keep people from diving right into the heavy scenes on the first day. ;)

Character development, interaction, learning about the others and making friendships (and possibly enemies!) - these are what raises it from just a couple of people having sex. And while kinky, erotic sex is very much a part of E, it's also not the only thing that brings us here. If all you wanted was the sex scenes, you wouldn't have signed up for Elliquiy in the first place, I think. =^_^=

WHY the characters start knocking boots is an important element. ;)

Everyone else: We have only ONE application sent in so far. All of the "reserved" positions are being dropped; get your character sheets in, or you might miss out. Kerri's still got her Reserved position because of her willingness to help balance the game somewhat, and pick either side, and she is now the ONLY reserved position.
