I want to do one of theses... But I'm thinking more of the Lines of Stargate... I need a Genius and a few other people..... Would you mind playing .. We would be following a plot that I set up.... and of course the Stargate theme .... This will be Freeform

I'm going to let everyone make up there own chars but I want basis off the Tv shows... So that will help....

Just pick a char you like from the series and make it your own or make one that you want

Do you have a specific archetype in mind, then, or at least are able to tell me which role I'd be likely to be filling on the team?  That would help my character design process out greatly.

    history: Kat was raised as a ward of the state and selected at age five for a specialist program dedicated for budding geniuses.  Her handler Mr Grey was a kindly old man and practically raised her as his own daughter even through all the endless tests and rapid education.  She had very limited exposure to her peers growing up, outside of other students in the program.   Do to her very high IQ and preparation by the government she graduated with a PHD in physics at age 17 and was recruited into Area 51 shortly there after.  Last year she was transferred to the SGC to undergo basic combat training and preparation for field research with the SGC.

    looks:  Kat stands about five feet six inches and weighs in at one hundred forty nine pounds after a decent meal.  She is thin and has an attractive somewhat shapely form but far from model material.  Her eyes are a brilliant sapphire blue and almost appear to be actual sapphires floating in a lake of pearl at times in the right lighting.  The thin frame glasses she always wears to correct her far sightedness only seem to enhance the effect making them appear framed, like museum pieces.  Looking into them though there is something not quite right about them, although attractive she seems distant and somewhat nervous around others, unsure of herself and definitely shy.  her black hair hangs down to her shoulders and is often held in a neat ponytail that alternates between resting down over her shoulder, or hanging at the center of her neck.  She has a nice smile when you can coax one out of her, as her face often seems to be in a passive neutral state, as if to scared to smile or frown.  Her nose is small and extremely cute looking almost like a bunnies in some ways although still quite clearly human.

Kat is one of several hundred individuals world wide to have the ancient gene in her genome naturally.  This is one reason she was transferred to the SGC unofficially.  Kat also has studied and is a brown belt in Karate, which she sometimes does to help calm or focus her thoughts when she's distressed.

Wow I want in on this, but I'll have to see if I have the time to join another one.  When are you thinking of starting it, so I can have a time line of how long I can have before it's too late to enter.

What point in the SG timeline are you thinking about? And how do you feel about Tok'ra or Jaffa characters?

The year is 1999, from what she said on IM, so its around the time when Apophis tried to wipe out the Tau'ri by seeking sanctuary amongst them.  Tok'ra and Jaffa area also acceptable for characters.


She says she'll likely be starting the game next week as well, and yes Doktor you can play a doctor.

I watched the movie and then the series about a decade ago, but have in no way kept up with it.  I am open to a number of concepts, but worry about not being up on the lore.

Alice obvious talent at flying gave her a stellar debut in the air force which soon led to becoming a test pilot for a range of secret aircraft. Due to the secrecy of the vehicles she was flying, promotions became more of a necessity than earned until one night while flying over hostile territory she was forced to eject to make her own way back to a safe haven undetected. When it was proven she also successfully destroyed the craft before deserting it so its technology didn't fall into enemy hands, acclaim followed. A few missions later saw her to Colonel (Col) at a young age, however arrogance soon saw a court martial demote her back to Captain when evidence appeared of her looking into projects beyond her clearance.
Typically her behavior should have compelled higher brass to take more dramatic measures but all where staggered how she managed to infliltrate what was deemed thoroughly secure area due to near perfect gymnastic routines. Recovered camera footage of which made many gasp, giving her the nickname of "the eel".

Her stealth, preference for silent combat techniques, uncanny ability to avoid being injured raised the interest of star gate command soon enough.  When presented with the opportunity to join such a team of specialists the general offering it recalls ..

"She looked at me without expression then just said as plain as you like 'I always knew we had something like that. I was always one of them, it just took them this long to realize it. Tell them they took their sweet time, when do I leave?'

history: Sara Kerrigan, a civilian, was born in Chicago to parents who both served in the Air Force. Due to an injury she obtained in a car accident at sixteen she was unable to join the military. She instead focused her energies on archiology, majoring in it in college. She has always been a very dedicated student of Daniel Jackson's theory on Ancient Egypt finding no reason to deny it. And instead had dedicated herself to proving that he was no crackpot.

Eventually she was recruited for the Stargate program, beginning with studying archiology specimans on other planets and things that had been brought back by other teams. On one such mission she was injured by friendly fire, and required a blood transfusion. Due to complications with the transfusion Naquida was introduced to her system, giving her the ability to sense it and the Goa'uld.

Trained in firearms by her parents she's almost as good as the average soldier. Her studies in college included archiology, sociology, psychology, and theology. Not bad at hand to hand she has no formal training.

( in my experience if you combined OCC and characters, wading through occ makes it its hard to find others characters later, im sure you have experienced the same though)

The link i provided earlier was to the time Pixie chose for the game to take place, its 1999, Atlantus hasn't been found yet, Anubis hasn't returned yet, although that's not to far off, in 4 years Anubis will return.  In 5 Atlantus is launched.

Role: Robotics Tech

   Born in Houston to a middle class family, James enlisted into the robotics field and volunteered for the SG program upon its original inception, but was turned down due to the limited manning and his lack of experience and limited equipment familiarity.  After the initial success and expansion of the program, James was accepted in order to maintain robot scouts and maintain field equipment, in addition to anything Ms. Kerrigan required.

   He has significant expertise in technical repair, specializing in robotics, and is in good physical condition.  He has also qualified expert in the 9mm.  He's a very laid back person, fond of playful humor, generally aims to please with occasional moments of wanting control.

Right now .. I'm just going to figure out where I'm going to put it ..More of the lines of where I want the rp at ... let me get some rest and I'll have someone put it up in Bondage or something ....
