Hail and well met, fellow Elliquiyan! Welcome to this thread!

Before you proceed, ask thyself these questions three:

  • 1) Dost thou like swords? ('tis no euphemism! Or mayhaps 'tis!)

  • 2) Dost thou like adventure?

  • 3) Art thou bold and inclined to action?
If thou answered 'yea' to me these questions three, this game mayhaps be for thee!

Alright, alright. Sorry. Enough of that silliness. For now. But like many, I've been playing a Baldur's Gate 3 since it came out of Early Access, and it's put me in the mood for a fantasy game. Now, I'm nothing if not someone standing on the shoulders of the giants who came before, and I wear my influences on my sleeve. If you've a keen eye and keener memory, you'll spot them. It's not super important that you've read, played, or watched the same stuff I have. The point is, if you crave a fantasy adventure where few stand against many, and dangers great are overcome through desire coupled with courage, then you've come to the right place.

This game would be 100% freeform. No statistics, no dice, just the writers and the writing and my completely arbitrary authority to set things. It does not matter if you are unfamiliar with Dungeons & Dragons, only know of it, only know of it through video games, or whatever. If you have read fantasy novels,  and/or watched fantasy films, then you are fine. Even if you have just played in fantasy games here or elsewhere you are probably just fine too.

The sort of characters that I want for this story are not rank and raw amateurs, but they are not high on the hog adventurers at the peak of their powers, either. While you could conceivably have a very powerful hero who could handle this single-handedly inclined to help out due to altruism, it is not what I want for this story. You can be a journeyman, but not a master, okay? The characters need to be at a power level where they can contribute but also where they would not be overpowered for the situation. It is a fine line, and perhaps somewhat easier in freeform without any numbers, but in thinking about potential characters keep in mind the scope of the mission. The characters may also be special snowflakes with tragic backstories, but lone wolves with antagonistic personalities are probably not the best choice for a cooperative writing game. The token evil teammate works in pure fiction or an endeavor with two writers, but in a group game like this it is less than ideal. I am not saying that everyone needs to be a white cloaked knight in shining armour, but shades of grey should be identifiable as such, not so dark as to be indistinct from black.

Although someone absolutely is free to play a knight in shining armour - a young knight who just earned their spurs, out errant to build their name and hone their skills, accompanied by their faithful destrier. I do not want to do extensive world-building on my part, but leave it open to be collaborative. This game would be set in a world that is a fairly standard anachronistic fantasy kitchen sink.

The only things I would say definitively are true with regard to the setting are:

  • there's different kinds of elves
  • no steampunk
  • no guns
  • no magitech
Self indulgently: among wizards, there is a certain school of thought that a wizard is not a wizard without a pointy, best decorated with astrological symbols. There is another school of thought that holds that such hats are gauche and not required for true wizardry. This latter school of thought is wrong. If you want to play a wizard, feel free to belong to a third group that either thinks the first two are weirdos or do not even know about them and the ongoing wizard hat debate or even takes a completely radical stance. Or just be a new wizard who finished their apprenticeship and left/got kicked out of their wizard's tower for some arbitrary reason that explains why they are an adventurer now. But the world is fairly cosmopolitan, so you could throw in basically anything you are passionate about. Ultimately, where your character is from is going to be important to that character and to a degree define them, but once they hit the ground and posting starts what they do is going to be a lot more important.

The basic premise is very Seven Samurai/Magnificent Seven at its core. The player characters are adventurers who get recruited to help save a farming village threatened by a group of orc warriors and goblin bandits. The local lord is not going to send his men-at-arms to the village's protection, and the only recourse for the villagers is to find adventurers. But they do not have a lot of wealth - a large factor in why the local lord will not protect them. They have food and few coins to offer the prospective adventurers.

The village has little in the way of local protectors. An ancient, cantankerous ranger named Erin Hawksvale lives in the mountains and hills nearby, along with his animal companions, but as Erin nears his seventieth year his aim, sight, and courage are failing him. Perhaps, once, he could have been enough to turn the tide, but now his best efforts can slow the orcs and goblins until more help can be found. The local druid grove is conflicted - its senior members are indifferent to the plight of the villagers and wish to remain neutral and 'allow nature to take its course,' while those in favour of helping are junior, weaker members of the grove with little power. But even if all of the druids were united, they would not be enough. The adventurers are needed to try and hold the line, if not turn the tide.

I would like to set this in the 'Light' section. All respect to those who enjoy other sections but I do not want to toss this game in the 'Extreme' section 'just to be on the safe side.' I am not interested in playing a group of goblins holding down a defeated adventurer so that a group of orcs can non-con them in every orifice - this is not that kind of game.

Yeah, so . . . that is what I got. Sound off if I have you sword, your ax, your bow, or whatever.

Here's the character sheet. You can remix it and omit fields or add ones that I've overlooked if you like. Please send drafts and/or completed sheets to me in PM. Please also feel free to shoot off ideas if you want me to weigh in on them before you go and fully develop them.

Here's a sample of how a more verbose completed sheet might look. It is not necessary to ape this - I write too much and with middling skill - but just to give everyone an idea of what I have in mind.

Name

Leonidas Artorius Gloriosus
Adherent of the Sun

Gloriosus is a High Elf. A long-lived race possessed of deep vitality and vigor but prone to suffering ennui of long years, the High Elves have a long and storied history replete with superlative achievements and many firsts. Tall, long-limbed, and possessed of superlative beauty, the High Elves possess might and grace in equal generous measure. The naming convention of the High Elves is the tria nomina (triple name), consisting of the praenomen (true personal name),  nomen gentilicium (family/clan name), and cognomen (a sort of nickname given to the bearer by others based on deeds or a quality of the bearer). It is considered most proper to address a High Elf by their cognomen, and the praenomen is reserved for those with whom the High Elf shares their closest ties.

Age
60

Gender
Male

Race
High Elf

Origin
Primum Stellaris
Artorius family

Appearance

Hair
Gloriosus's hair is long and alabaster. It is exceptionally fine, smooth, and lustrous. The silken tresses require little upkeep and maintenance, and Gloriosus washes it regularly and combs it but does nothing else. He may at times bind it into a tail when it is convenient, but otherwise it falls free about his back and shoulders.

Eyes
Luminous blue eyes that catch and reflect light as beautiful crystals. They are observant and very keen, capable of seeing great distances with incredible clarity while also catching small details and fine features. Things which are concealed seldom remain so long under the scrutiny of Elvenkind, and even passive regard can reveal the incongruities that betray secret portals, hidden switches, and concealed artifice. As with all High Elves, Gloriosus can see up to 60 feet in darkness.

Skin
Gloriosus's skin is fair and unblemished. He has no scars or roughness, even though he spends much time in the sun and among the elements. Equally, he is no coward but such is the puissance of Elven vitality that his wounds heal without scars.

Height
7'2"

Build
Tall as a young tree, broad of shoulder and long of limb, Gloriosus is endowed with the tremendous vitality and strength yet also lithe and graceful at the same time. He is a tireless strider, possessed of a hard body resistant to hurt. Athletic and fit, Gloriosus's physique is finely chiseled and sculpted, in perfect proportion and symmetry.

Weight
275lbs

Description
Gloriosus is supportive member of the party. He fights in the front ranks with the more martially inclined, and although he is quite skilled he is not a master with his mace and shield. With a blade he is better, but Gloriosus swore oath not to wield weapons that shed blood as part of his initiation into the worship of Pelor. He is skilled with a bow and possesses the strength to draw a full Elvish warbow as tall as he is and the skill and marksmanship to take down a bird on the wing, but absent blunt arrowtips he will not use such a weapon. Unless, of course, the most dire circumstances call for it to protect life in the face of evil - then Gloriosus would take up blade or bow and stain his ideals to preserve life. He possesses great proficiency with thrown weapons, as his Elvish senses permit him to perceive targets accurately and the strength of his limbs allows him to propel them to considerable distance.  In combat Gloriosus focuses on ensuring his allies are not outflanked, and using his magic to bolster and heal the front line.

He has a reasonable facility with stealth owing to his Elvish grace allowing him to move silently and without trace, but Gloriosus lacks any true sense of guile or cunning that would lead him to employ it of his own volition for ill gotten gains. He has no knowledge of roguery, skullduggery, or underhandedness, and his open and forthright mannerisms and personality make dissembling and deceit patently impossible.

A skilled rider and horseman, Gloriosus can easily befriend horses and can calm even the most cantankerous and bellicose horses. He is also a capable outdoorsman and capable of living off of the land without difficulty, but he is not as broadly knowledgeable as a druid or ranger might be. He has a passing knowledge of herbs, chiefly restricted to their use in the context of medicinal uses and what to avoid as poisonous/harmful to ingest.

Personality
Gloriosus is an unwordly fellow, unused to the true ways of the world. He is an optimist and an innocent, who possesses an intellectual knowledge of the existence of evil but often sees the best in others. The High Elf's natural inclination is towards kindness and compassion, and to forgive trespasses against himself and to advocate for mercy to others. However, he lives within the world and his ideals are not often easy to live up to. He is as fallible as any other mortal, but he does his best. Although he does not intend to be, Gloriosus can be incredibly haughty at times, without meaning to be, and his privileged upbringing has left him with blind spots. His upbringing has left him with a sense of noblesse oblige (and he privately wonders if his ancestors did as much as they could have to help against the plague), although he does genuinely want to help others and to alleviate suffering when he encounters it.

Gloriosus's faith is deep and sure. It is a comfort to him in trying and challenging times. He understands that Pelor is a kind and benevolent deity, but Pelor's role is not to be an all-providing solution to every problem that exists in the world. Gloriosus tries to live his life in a manner that he believes Pelor would favour, but first and foremost, Gloriosus strives to live the kind of life where he can look at himself in the mirror in a hundred or thousand years and not be ashamed of what he sees.

He considers himself very mature for his age, though among Elves he is no more than a callow youth. Gloriosus meets the challenges of the world with courage and good cheer, and tries to give the fellow members of the party the benefit of the doubt. Getting along with them is important to him, and he does his best to ensure jolly cooperation.

Gloriosus is a virgin and sworn to remain chaste until his arranged marriage so that, thus pure, he may truly celebrate the glory and joy of the marital bed. This is a social compact and not required by his religion. He will not break this oath uncoerced and of his own free will.

He is also sworn not to wield weapons that shed blood, such as a sword, ax, or even sharpened arrowheads. This is an oath that was not required of Gloriosus by his religion but he swore it to bring himself closer to Pelor's ideals. In defense of life in the face of evil, Gloriosus will break this oath, choosing to stain his ideals in order to preserve life.

Bio

Gloriosus is part of the Artorius family. The family is one with a long martial tradition, and in the truly elder days the scions of the line of Artorius went into battle upon the backs of dragons. But the dragons slumber, now, difficult to rouse. With few enemies worth paying the terrible price and risking the terrible danger entailed in waking the dragons, many High Elves turned to other more tractable species as mounts. The Artorius family chose to raise mighty horses, and their herds consist of tall horses with pure white coats, powerful and swift in equal measure, possessed of keen intelligence and stout courage. Gloriosus's father, Ambrosius Artorius Eques Ultra, is a superlatively proficient breeder and trainer of horses, as at home on horseback as he is on foot. Gloriosus learned something of horsecraft from his father, but his heart lay in other places.

The Artorius family maintains an estate within Primum Stellaris, but they have lands without to give their herd land to roam and graze. Their herd is much depleted from the heights of times before the plague struck, but it remains strong and careful animal husbandry has maintained the best of the bloodlines and the greatest qualities so carefully bred into them. Gloriosus spent many days of his youth out in the fields, tending to horses and learning the essentials of life. It was a wonderful part of his life and Gloriosus looks back upon it fondly. He had many good friends, wise mentors, and even a few sweethearts as is the manner of youth. His parents have arranged a marriage for him to a maiden of the Concordius family.

Gloriosus experienced his calling to the worship of Pelor shortly after his 50th birthday. He was riding a young mare at the borders of his family's property, and he came upon a section of broken fencing, and a wounded servant and horse. The light of the sun blazed brightly in his eyes and he fell to his knees, laying hands upon Elf and Horse alike. In that moment he became a conduit to the higher power of Pelor. Both were healed. The servant relayed that bandits had stolen several horses and made off with them. Gloriosus bade the servant return to the family villa and report the situation, then went to pursue the bandits. When Gloriosus came upon them, he confronted them boldly, demanding the return of the stolen horses.

The bandits refused, choosing their life of brigandry and theft, mocked Gloriosus and set to murdering the Elf. Gloriosus managed to best the half dozen ruffians, although he was injured in the exchange of blows, but not seriously. Binding all - wrists and wounds - Gloriosus brought them to be tried by a judge for their crimes. Although they were so steeped in ill deeds that they were sentenced to death, Gloriosus felt he had served justice.

But he knew the path his life would take now. He announced to his father his fealty to Pelor, and left the family villa the next day with Eques Ultra's blessing to the monastery of Pelor in Primum Stellaris. The abbot of the monastery was expecting Gloriosus, and welcomed the young Elf with open arms. Gloriosus took his initiation oaths, and became an adherent of the sun. He learned the gospel of Pelor, deepening his nascent connection to the Sun God.

Equipment

Armour
A hauberk of Elven mail protects Gloriosus. It possesses full sleeves and extends full to the knee, with a clever mesh and weave about the legs that allows for full mobility without requiring a protection reducing slit. Crafted from mithril, a metal is both stronger and lighter than steel, the hauberk is no more encumbering or taxing to wear than a silken shirt. Mithril does not tarnish. The superlative work is such that the individual links are so fine and well connected with one another that a human's eye could scarcely discern the individual links, and movement while wearing the armour is no more noisy than is normal.

Gloriosus also carries a round, wooden shield with a steel rim and boss. The face of the shield is painted white with a stylized sunburst on the front.

Clothing
Shirts, trousers, and a robe of white fabric spun by the hands of Elves. The robe has a stylized sunburst stitched into the front. They are comfortable in all climates. A grey cloak with a full hood of neutral that has been treated with special Elven techniques to make it waterproof.  He wears comfortable leather boots that have also been treated to be waterproof.

Weapons

»   Mace. A well made flanged mace. Fabricated from steel by an Elven journeyman smith, it is nevertheless resilient and graceful in appearance while being completely utilitarian.
»   Knife. A well made utility knife with a single, slightly curved blade. Fabricated by the same journeyman smith that fabricated that mace. It is well cared for an retains its edge very easily.

Miscellaneous

»   Holy Symbol. It is a stylized sunburst pendant shaped of bright yellow wood suspended upon a shimmering steel chain.

Magic

”Praise the sun!”

As a High Elf, Gloriosus comes from a culture and people steeped in deep magical tradition. He does not take magic for granted - it is a powerful, versatile tool that must be respected for its power and its associated costs and dangers.

The power of Pelor allows Gloriosus to perform feats of healing, be they physical, mental, or spiritual. He has the greatest success with healing physical injuries. But the divine power of Pelor is not simply restricted to healing: it also can be directed to bolster the self and allies, granting additional prowess in combat and physical pursuits. The power of Pelor may also be manifested as light that illuminates even the blackest darkness. Also, Gloriosus may turn undead by presenting the symbol of faith with conviction - skeletons and zombies flee (and weaker examples are destroyed), but more powerful undead may resist the power of the High Elf's faith.

World Building Stuff

Primum Stellaris is the city-state capital of the High Elves that Gloriosus comes from. It's located high up near some cliffs near the sea. It's actually a great big crystal city that floats over the ocean and there's a magical rainbow bridge that connects the crystal city to land. There are dragons in caves in the cliffs, and they're dormant and haven't woken for centuries if not millennia, either of their own volition or by the hands of the High Elves. The High Elves care for the sleeping dragons, and certain families pass along the secrets and dread knowledge of dragonry across generations. The city-state can produce some food within itself due to magical contrivances, but not really enough to truly sustain even the diminished populations, and the High Elves have farming and fishing settlements nearby along the coast to fulfill production needs. The High Elves who farm and fish have traditionally been regarded as lower status, but in the post-plague era their status has elevated as their work becomes ever more important to sustaining the High Elves. It is now seen a virtuous and commendable work, rather than an unpleasant necessity. They are relatively untouched by the plague owing to their remote location. Their largest avenue for contact with the outside was High Elf merchant families, who have since turned to other pursuits in the face of the plague.

The faith of Pelor is not restricted to any particular culture or race, although obviously the worship of a Sun God is not terribly prevalent in any subterranean context. There is no singular dogma in the post-plague era, and the branch the Gloriosus received instruction in emphasizes Pelor's role as a protector, healer, and god of crop fertility. There is an understanding of the necessity of the balance of light and dark in the context of night and day, with the faith teaching that all beings possess the capacity for good and evil and that it is the mark of a being how they defy the evil within and how well they prevent the seed of evil from germinating in their hearts. Forgiveness is to be given to the truly contrite, and evil is to be opposed. Generosity, in material terms and in spiritual terms, are emphasized, with the understanding that the adherents of the Sun live in the real world and can't do much good for anyone if they starve themselves to death - it is best to share what one has with others so that each might have a little, than that any has none.

It might be fairly widespread knowledge that a displayed sunburst denotes someone is a worshiper of Pelor, but there's probably also people who use a sunburst as their own coat of arms or follow a different dogma than Gloriosus - there's probably martial dogmas that might have survived that emphasize the aspects of Pelor in opposing evil and the undead.
--

So Gloriosus left his home to bring the light of Pelor to a benighted post-plague world. He feels he can do more good out in the world than in the city of crystal.

Thank you, fellow Elliquiyan, and have a wonderful day.

I just watched Seven Samurai a week or two ago, but not sure what I’d make or if a character will come to me.
It's all good, and it's all in fun.  Now get in the pit and try to love someone.

I'm 110% here for this! Now to lament over which character to write... If we can use D&D terms I'd be interested either in a wood elf or eladrin druid (provided you mean little power within the grove hierarchy rather than a very inexperienced druid in terms of abilities) or a tiefling hexblade.

Lately I've become fond of clerics.  Naturally some agreement with the GM over the balancing of spells would be required,  but I am inclined to play the cleric for this. Healing, buffs, some offensive spells.  And naturally, normal weaponry.

I'm just thinking something like fighter or rogue. I've had enough of complex for the moment and just want to play something simple.

I'd be interested in joining the campaign, if you'll have me. This seems like the perfect opportunity to play a character I've had in the back of my mind for a while:

A changeling paladin devoted to the deity of intimacy and pleasure. While honor bound to help those in need in a more typical adventurer sense, it is also their holy duty to help others explore their sexuality and be comfortable with their own body. In any major town, they'll always stop by the brothel to make sure the employees are being treated properly, as their order considers brothels holy sites where their deity's will is carried out. As part of their vows however, they can never commit themselves to any one person as they must always be willing to lay with any who need them.

Suppose I should get my foot in the door before Cold Heritage shows back up and is like "Hark! Mine chalice doth overflow with thine interest!" and closes things off. Maybe something with a really pointy hat. Divination specialist sounds fun, though maybe not the ideal candidate for a giant brawl. We'll see how things shape up. :P

Yeah, magic is always difficult to balance, but this is freeform and balance is a vague and fleeting notion. As long a magic user isn't consistently taking the tension out of a scene with a casual casting it is not a huge deal.

I am a big fan of simple. I would say on the rogue side of things I would not imagine a lot of some staples of roguery like picking locks, although it is conceivable they could get mileage out of detecting and disarming traps in a more natural setting - concealed stake pits, or trip lines, or concealed jaw traps. Stuff like that.

It is certainly not out of the question, although as I mentioned to Rashol some of the classic rogue trademarks might not get a lot of call. Still, happy you are interested, Wolfi!

Hello. I understand you are a fairly new user to Elliquiy, so I want to welcome you to the community. I also want to apologize to you for my failure to communicate my expectations for the content of this game. It is not envisioned to be a prurient game with a prominent focus on sexual content or the sexual proclivities of the characters involved. This is intended to be mainly story driven with erotic elements as a peripheral element rather than as the main focus of the game itself or the characters involved.

Even if I had I would have made an exception for someone making a character wearing a pointy hat. *solemn nod*

I'm going to get working on a character sheet and I will edit it into the first post. I'll post to let everyone know! Thou all hath mine gratitude!
Thank you, fellow Elliquiyan, and have a wonderful day.

plants a rather small flag which boasts a very tiny  yea, verily on the pole Call if you could use a half drow rogue type.

Wifey, I might have something right up your alley for a half drow... DMing inspo now!

So yeah . . . I put a character sheet up in the first post (there's also one of my old character sheets there as an example of what I have in mind - it's not necessary for you to mimic that 100%). Please send drafts/completed sheets to me by PM for review. As far as faces go, please use photos or realistic art - I don't personally have a problem with anime but I don't want that style for this game and I also don't character in exaggerated/heavily stylized armor wielding extremely fanciful weaponry. Please don't pick something that makes your character look like an endgame MMO character. I personally think giant pauldrons are kind of cool and suffer from terminal Warhammer 40,000 poisoning, but that aesthetic is not right for this game. Please don't feel attacked.

Also, if you have ideas and just want to give me PM to talk about it before you fully develop it into a CS, that's cool too. Also, if you have questions. Just blow up my inbox, fam.
Thank you, fellow Elliquiyan, and have a wonderful day.

It is certainly not out of the question, although as I mentioned to Rashol some of the classic rogue trademarks might not get a lot of call. Still, happy you are interested, Wolfi!

When I think rogue, I'm thinking of a dual-wielding dagger wearer or an archer with an eye for stealth and speed. It's not about the lock picking so much as it's the ability to spot a trap before I fall into it...so your words are noted (AND you know this is Wolfi bait)

Pending approval of course but I'm thinking...

Character to be submitted later todayish...

Otar Cado'Karak
7th Son
of the 5th Daughter; Sylvarix Cadan'Karak
of the 7th Daughter; Galinaxia Cadan'Karak
of the Esteemed and Unyielding Matron;
Karak'zahniax - The Quiet Death

Dragonborn Paladin

Going for a more stodgy, proper and polite vibe rather than "rawr I'm a dragon"

He's big on talking and big on titles aside from just being...well...big.

CH- I've gone above and beyond what I think was needed BUt I do have a query. Are we allowed to use Forgotten Realms places or would you prefer we make up our own for the world-building section? Mostly I ask as that will inform both her biography and the bits I'd like to add in World Building. Also, for your edification (and because my nerdiness knows no bounds) I built Zilvra around this sheet. Look ye mighty warriors and tremble.

@CH: As you know I'm a filthy altaholic, so I'll send you two sheets hopefully tonight. One for an eladrin druid and the other for a tiefling warlock. Once I see what else shakes out for player characters (provided you approve either one of mine) I'll pull in whoever suits the party dynamic best!

I'm seeing a good number of DnD inspired characters.  Are we using DnD as the basis for race and class selection or can we be a little more freeform?

I was putting together a monk-ish character but it doesn't really fit into DnD lore.

I think CH wanted that Aesthetic without all of the extra stuff. I just tend to think of DnD immediately whenever I see this type of group.

When I post this I haven't gone through my PMs. Trust me I will in time! If you sent in a sheet I'll read it but I'll wait before sending feedback until I've made my decisions about accepted characters. Thank you for your understanding and patience in this trying time.

Absolutely. Feel free to use Forgotten Realms places if they evoke joy. I enjoy the Forgotten Realms. If your character is a Harper though you have to let me know.

I only wish that I could have had support from others on the many times I tried to stage an intervention to free you from the grip of altahol, but everyone decided to be filthy, filthy enablers.

A little bit more freeform but don't get too wild. Foxy Deville and Juggtacular are putting monks in so that niche is going to be hotly contested but feel free to submit a monk-ish character if you want.

You got it, Wolfi. I find it a very useful framework and springboard to guide creativity.

Also it has a very proud tradition of wizards wearing pointy hats.

Dang, Cold, that's one heck of a sample character. xD

Looks like you've got plenty of interest already, but what the heck, might DM you a character profile for funsies anyway. Been too long since I brushed up against one of your games. n.n

Oh, just for reference: the character concept was basically a barbarian, in terms of class/role. Do smash.

For the sake of clarity, I am still interested, however I am waiting whether my main RP will continue or will be changed/discontinued altogether. I wouldn't want to take up another story and find myself in a daily posting regimen again in another story, only to go slow on the other ones I picked up in the meantime.

So if anyone feels like playing a cleric, don't mind me and shoot your character sheets for approval.

Wolfling72

CH- I have sent you a Ranger. I hope that the way she is set up will work within this particular story. If not, never fear, I shall read along regardless.

I'd recommend making her!  Your idea might be the one the GM picks.    I apolgoze. At the time I submitted a character. I didn't realize this was a casting call sort of selection process.  I didn't know I was potentially stepping on someone else's opportunity to take part in the game.

We have a couple of monks who will potentially be pitched to CH so I don't think there's any need to worry about stepping on toes or using too much of a specific archetype! This is free form, and while I won't speak for our intrepid GM, I think we can all bring something unique to our characters and their roles.

Any notion when that might be cleared up? I understand if it's all still up in the air and you can't say.

Also, I'm no speedster when it comes to posting, if that helps at all.

It just has been, I'm in the same game. It's on indefinite hiatus for the moment.

Raven Rawne

Yup, we have the word from GM and the game is on hold. I will make a character for this RP, most likely today. Any specific gap in character classes sent so far? I will write a cleric as a default pitch but can adjust to fit a specific niche if necessary. They would be kinda support-ish in my default idea.

Also I'd love to help with the gender balance but admittedly, for some strange reason I always regret making a male character. Like, I feel like they just don't work well for me.

So... basically a male version of Wynne. That still sounds like a winning scenario to me, haha.

I've sent the cleric for approval yesterday, so the party may have a healer/support after all. Obviously still waiting for GM approval, and I myself will probably fine tune things before launch.
