They are the most renowned & celebrated heroes in the world, they are the Seven.
In a world where Superheroes are privatized and the center of a massive, multi-billion dollar industry stands Vought International.
The company holds a near absolute monopoly on the superhero market, strictly controlling their brand by any means necessary.
Sometimes this involves threats to sue someone who might undermine their stars.
Sometimes it involves discretely covering up the actions of their heroes. That's the thing about the Seven.
Most famous & powerful superheroes on the planet they may be but good people? Not so much.
Untouchable rockstars with all manner of secrets, debauched pass times or just plain deep rooted personal issues. At least they make bank.

I am looking to start an an all OC AU RP based on the Amazon series The Boys. I've run this RP on E a couple of times now with varying results but generally I focus on 'the Seven.'
This is intended to be a long term game designed for players interested in world-building, plot development and collaborating on a larger narrative.

Do I need to have read the comics/watched the show?
No. So long as you can understand the general concept. A massive corporation uses Superheroes as a product, making them the center of a wide spread media empire. Superheroes save the day but are often deeply flawed people. A CIA Black Ops team 'the Boys' monitor and occasionally 'police' Supes.

Will you be 'GMing' the story?
To an extent. This is a collaborative narrative and anyone who wishes to participate will be expected to contribute to the overall experience. I will set up a Discord chat everyone will be required to join, we will use it to keep in contact, plot events, organise and world build but I will not be GMing in the traditional sense. I will be more of a first among equals who might nudge things along or take the lead as we get started.

Do I have to play as a member of the Seven? Can I play one of the Boys?
At the open of the RP you can play as a member of the Seven or Vought International, once we have those roles being filled we'll expand to include other groups (the Boys, Payback etc). Please note at this time I am limiting 'Supes' to the Seven & Payback, I'm not looking for additional Supes who make up the Vought roster. If we get a decent roster to establish the core requirements of the game I would be quite interested in expanding the roster further based on the involved players preferences.

The game will be broken up into two types of threads. "Plot threads" which will focus on the main plot and "General threads" which will be open/sandbox RP in the setting. You may wish to play a character who has no direct involvement in the main plot and takes part strictly in the general threads, this is perfectly acceptable. I might advise keeping in mind whatever character you decide to play will still need to be someone with a reason to interact with the rest of the roster but you are free to explore options. The character sheet will aim to be quick & easy so taking up smaller, less important or 'for fun' characters should be viable.

On hiatus for the next while. Much love to all my writing partners. <3

Bepi

Character:Lineage
Player:Bepi

Role:The Seven
Powers/Special abilities:

• Blood control- Can control arterial and venous blood via her mind and concentration level. She can effectively ‘control’ the victim’s movements, provided her concentration level is not broken. This also allows her to stop or increase blood flow to a concentrated area in a body for human and animal alike. She needs a fair amount of concentration to do so, usually not allowing her to defend herself in a clear way. She has a range of about 90 foot clearance to use this power, the closer she is, the more powerful she is. There is no physical action she needs to do (arms raised, etc) to control the blood flow, but she does use it for flair more often than not.
• Impact-Can create a concussive force from wherever her power is concentrated. This only works for her blood control, essentially creating a burst bubble effect surrounded by blood. This can essentially blow out a knee, arm, or wherever she places that burst. The force is similar to being his by a car going 50 mph. Depending on the power she puts behind it, she can render someone dead or kill off certain sections of the brain
• Physical Fighting-Sarah also has extensive training in martial arts and unarmed combat, holding black belts in judo and aikido. Her level of skill is sufficient to hold her against at least four normal men. She has completed several high degrees within the police academy and done them well.

Personality:

• Charismatic
-Growing up in front of some camera's in her youth has made Sara easily able to handle the press and come across as a media darling. She has a nature about her that makes her seem easy to talk to and it has served her well so far. She can handle questions with clarity and a smile is hard to give up on her face.
• Greedy
-Perhaps her most negative trait so far is her unwillingness to give something up if it benefits her. She likes to hoard glory and will usually be the first to talk to cameras or bystanders with a smile on her face. She knows that people tend to remember who talks to them first and she likes to be seen as the hero.
• Driven
-Her passion is clear and she doesn't like to be stopped when her goal is before her. She hates to give up, especially when the prize is within reach.

History:

• Born in NYC to a cop father and judge mother, the law has been ingrained through her. She showed her powers at a young age, being in a small group of supers that were coached by other various supers and being told to practice on small animals. She excelled in school, very interested in sciences she then graduated Columbia with a focus in Criminal Justice, and joined the police force shortly after.
• Enjoyed a young life under the public eye given who her parents were, she was scouted early for The Seven and actually refused until she became of age and she could finish college and do some 'street-time' and life lessons
• Has been on The Seven since she was twenty-five. Fairly likeable and has a romance whispered about her usually.

Relationships/Connections:

• Former super boyhood crush/boyfriend/ally who lived in California. She considers him a close friend and relies on him emotionally. Will use him as an occasional booty call.
• Rgular human 'Joe' who was her public police officer boyfriend her last year of college and into the police academy. Not a good guy, spilled secrets for money.
• Super on the Seven
• Anyone on the Seven for some plotting/TBD with others

Secrets/Gossip:

• Took several bribes while in the police academy and as her time in the blue
• Has killed 1-2 (maybe more) serial offenders during her mandatory prison police time via her powers
• Has a sex tape out that she is unaware was being filmed during the act, has yet to be 'released'

Primarch

#3

Character: The Warden
Player: Primarch

Role: The Seven
Powers/Special abilities:

• Enhanced Physical Attributes: The Warden possesses tremendous superhuman physical attributes to the point that he blatantly outclasses any superhuman not associated with the Seven. This includes his physical strength, speed, durability, stamina, senses & reflexes. While all of his physical capabilities are very high superhuman caliber it is his physical strength that is particularly impressive. It is generally accepted that he is the physically strongest entity alive, to the point that Vought International have been unable to quantify his upper limit. He appears to be functionally indestructible, experiences no discomfort underwater, in space or in any other 'hostile environment' and he does not appear to actually require any form of rest or sustenance, though he will still occasionally indulge. Should something be found that can injure him in any significant way, his body will heal remarkably quickly.
• Immense Cosmic power: Warden is capable of tapping into a poorly understood form of energy Vought Marketing has dubbed 'immense cosmic powers' or some variation of (such as, 'the power cosmic!'). This manifests in two ways, 'passively' and 'actively.' At its passive level this energy augments all of Warden's physical capabilities and allows him to fly. With this in mind it should be noted his physical capabilities are always a mix of both a superhuman musculature but also an invisible energy field that's augmenting every element of his person. Through some level of effort Warden can 'trigger' this energy to increase its output by a significant degree. At his basic capabilities he is considered one of the most powerful Supes alive, with his 'Cosmic powers' activated he blatantly outclasses almost anyone. When triggered his 'cosmic power' energy field creates a visible aura that makes it look like Warden is covered in a golden-orange flame with occasional little sparks. His physical scale visibly increases by about ten percent and his muscles become more pronounced. As the 'cosmic energy' aura is effectively live power it causes collatoral damage where-ever he is standing or to anything in immediate proximity. He can also project the energy in the form of 'energy blasts.'
• Flight: Warden can fly under his own power. While it will sometimes he augmented by his 'Cosmic power' it is ultimately something he can do regardless of it. His flight speed is significantly beyond his ground running speed and fast faster than the human eye can follow though even at full speed he is not as fast as a fully fledged 'Speedster.'

Personality:

• Gregarious: Warden is a larger than life gregarious individual who simply oozes charisma. When he laughs it comes across as a very genuine and almost infectious laugh While its impressive to watch him lift a sinking oil tanker out of the ocean, its almost more impressive to watch him work a room of people with one of his signature cigars hanging from his mouth. Quite simply people like being around him and generally he likes to be around then. Men want to be him & women want to be with him, actually these days just as many men want to be with him and women want to be him.
• Proud: While he might play the role of 'humble' for the media, he's not. Warden is tremendously proud of who he is and his achievements. He's proud of the Seven and encourages them in a way one might expect a big brother too (for younger members of the Seven at least). Long since media trained, he will generally do as Vought request but he has been known to chase under certain media events or spins on his narrative when he wants to go in a different direction and doesn't get what he wants.
• Fierce: Friendly and charming as he can be in front of the camera's and with company he enjoys, when pushed too far or when he believes someone is trying to undermine or threaten himself or the Seven he can become intensely aggressive. Warden thinks nothing of using savage violence or even murder to protect his 'bread & butter.'

History:

• When it became clear the flagship Hero associated with Payback would need to be set aside Vought started looking for a replacement. The solution presented itself in an Irish Catholic woman who found herself under pressure to give her child up for adoption but instead was willing to allow Vought to turn her unborn child into a Supe, as the payoff money would allow her to raise the child herself. The unborn fetus was given an unprecedented dose of Compound V in the hopes of creating a suitable new flagship Superhero. It was more of a success than expected. 'Conor' was born immediately displaying his abilities so both baby & Mother were relocated to a Vought Compound where the child could be raised in secrecy and under strict observation.
• Conor was raised in the Vought Compound where he was constantly tested to confirm the extent of his abilities though as he got older his Mother became increasingly uncomfortable with the direction of her sons life and the increasingly extreme means being used to not only test Conor but to make sure he would be Vought's next flagship Hero. When Conor was six his mother attempted to get him out of the Compound but her escape attempt failed. Conor himself has no memories of the night, but he hasn't seen his mother since and has been told she passed away. Henceforth he was raised strictly by Vought.
• While originally it was intended that Conor (now presented to the media under the name 'The Warden') would join a junior team and gain some experience, his capabilities far exceeded what was expected and with Payback being pushed to the side he was set up as the leader of the newly formed group 'The Seven.' For the last sixteen years he has been operating as a staple part of the Vought brand, saving the day, showing his face for the camera and in general becoming one of the most famous people on the planet. As of 2010 he has dropped any attempt at a civilian life and now exists solely as 'The Warden' (or just Warden).

Relationships/Connections:

Secrets/Gossip:

• Warden has unresolved issues relating to being 'abandoned' by his Mother. A Vought psychiatrist described him as having 'weapons grade Mommy issues.' Vought have observed they can occasionally weaponise his need for approval or affection from a maternal figure though it is unreliable as he has also been known to lash out at the point. What Warden doesn't know is that on the 'fateful night' of his mothers attempted escape she was 'arrested' by Vought security and given mind altering drugs (mostly LSD) in a manner that would make the CIA proud. She has been living in a Psychiatric facility in Nebraska ever since where everyone ignores her wild conspiracy claims.
• Warden appears to have an appetite for famous women, particularly actresses. While occasionally encounters can be arranged it has led to several hush money payments and the signing of NDA's. The internet has long gossiped about his romantic status and association with Hollywood's elite dames. His need to make a sexual conquest out of powerful, influential famous women, generally his own age or younger, and how it relates to the issues regarding his mother has been explored by Vought's psychiatrists but what they determined is best left unsaid.
• There is an ongoing game at Vought Tower between staff that involves who can take a selfie while standing as close as possible to Warden, with him in the picture.
• For reasons that do not need to be explained Warden triggering his cosmic powers is often referred to as 'going Super Saiyan' by the fans and media. Vought marketing is very careful to avoid use of the term for legal reasons.

Looking back on Vanguard he seems mostly fine, though Vought indoctrinating him to be loyal to the government after Payback would have already ruined Supe involvement in the Armed Forces seems daft (along with the general idea of indoctrinating Supes to be loyal to anyone outside of Vought) but otherwise yes, Vanguard would be welcome back.

Vanguard WIP

Vanguard
Basic Information
Name: Trevor Washington
Role: Professional Hero
Alias: Vanguard
Parody of: Captain America
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Hetero
Age: 35
Height/Build:  6'2 220 lbs
Hair/Eye Colour: Dark Sandy Blonde/Blue eyes with a little green
Faceclaim: Chris Evans
Notable Features: None

Personality & History

Personality: When on the clock he’s outwardly patriotic, virtuous, and gregarious. Always has time for a selfie bomb and a handshake, as long as he’s not on duty! When doing his job, he puts the safety of people first, even if he might lose the battle at that moment. When not on the clock he could give a fuck about you and always has his eye out for a spectacular set of female attributes. A practical lifetime of sheltering has made him act out to the point of late night partying when the company doesn’t reel him in. Loves the power, and loves what he can do with it in or out of uniform.

Aspirations & fears: Wants a spot in The Seven, but fears his “age” is catching up to him and the network’s need to keep the drama worked up between him and Valkyrie is both the only thing keeping him afloat, and the very thing holding him back.

Official Backstory: When the government wanted soldiers to use against the growing threat against their nation’s interest, they began experimenting with performance enhancers created from an experimental lab deep within the bowels of Area 51. Trevor Washington was an unheralded soldier with minimum physical ability, but maximum heart. His keen sense of danger and devotion to his fellow soldier gave him the ability to put his humvee in harm’s way, in order to use it to do what he could not. To shield the people he cared for. It was a sad twist of fate that called him away from his unit on the day it was hit with an IED. His unit. The people he called his family, and the woman he secretly held a torch for, was gone.

It wouldn’t be until later that they would put the pieces together, but by then, he had to leave the military. Unfortunately, the armed forces couldn’t handle a man of such exemplary skill and strong moral compass. When all he wanted to do was serve, when his change made him into his very best self, it proved too much for the powers that be. But Vought, seeing the promise of such a dedicated man, made sure to create a place for him where he could keep the homefires burning and uphold the liberties we hold dear. Where he could serve the people who really mattered. The American People. He became…Vanguard!

And as Vanguard, those very same pieces pointed him to a horrible truth. The woman he secretly loved, who had embodied all he held dear as both a soldier, and a woman, had been turned. She was now the Russian puppet Valkyrie, and held no memories of him, despite the many memories he held of her. Knowing the truth, he could never bring himself to apprehend her. His love always seemed to override his duty.

Defining Moments & Skeletons: Trevor was raised as part of Vought’s plan to have supers in the military, but he wasn't allowed to be in the forefront. Before he was Vanguard, he was simply The Asset. And he usually operated in places that needed a spanking to let them know that the US was in charge. One mission went…a little sideways. Terrorists were using human shields while mass producing IEDs and suicide vests for distribution. And Trevor, being Trevor, arranged for the entire building to go up with no survivors. The death toll was…significant and since he's established a history of brutality, the CIA thought it best that Vought take back their little toy. Since no one officially knows who he was, Vought decided to make sure they got their money's worth and created Vanguard.

Despite being a CIA asset at one time, he's never officially served, but service records and "body cam" footage shows him in multiple places, all staged. And he's got paid (and straight up blackmailed) Army officials who will attest to his skills and bravery in the field.

His saves can, at times, result in deaths that are always, ALWAYS blamed on the villain. No exceptions.

Abilities

Superpowers:

• Slowed Aging: Thirty Five years young and still looking like he can sweep a terrorists’ safe house clean! He’s definitely getting older, but he’d be bench pressing coeds for fun well past a hundred…if he lives!

• Fast Healer: While not instant, his ability to heal means that he can come back from some of the worst physical damage with time and care. Things that would kill a normal person would mean a few months in a hospital. And that’s if they’ve got to juice to get through…which leads us to-

• Durable: Like many of his ilk, he’s been left with the ability to shrug off insignificant damage. 9mm? Fuck you. .50 cal? You better aim for the head, because when he gets up, it’ll be his turn. He’ll take it slow. You’ve earned it.

• Triathlete on all the crack: He can run faster than most cars drive on the street, while dodging other cars and shooting a gun with a ridiculous amount of accuracy. The shit people fake with Parkour he does just to show up the people faking it, because Parkour is fucking stupid. He likes throwing things at people. Sometimes he likes to see if he can throw jelly beans in a woman’s cleavage from a few yards out…you just gotta lob it right.

• America Strong!: The might of America coursing through him with the physique to match, you better be ready to send waves if you wanna storm this fortress of liberty!.

• Vought Trained: What do you do when you’re meant to be a soldier from the moment you’re practically born? He knows shit. Tactical…hand-to-hand, the works. Sometimes it just jumbles together in his head, and if the V hadn’t improved his intellect, he might have suffered from decision paralysis!

Equipment:

• Vanguardian Suit: Navy blue suit with a patriotic flare, with a belt used to hold all manners of military might! Most of the pockets have Jelly beans of assorted colors.

• The Shield: Metal triangular shield with his symbol that’s made of the same material as Valkyrie’s arm.

• Jelly Belly: Belt around his waist holds mostly jelly beans arranged by color. He eats them in-between takes or when he's not doing anything in particular..

Skills:

• Accountant: You laugh, but he is. The man has a mind for numbers that could get him far. He’s even got a CPA under his “name” Trevor Washington.

• Cook: One more thing to do when you spend your life in a bubble. Cook as if the world was at your doorstep. He cooks a little something from everywhere when possible…except Russia

• Orator: He can drop a speech about nothing if needed, and usually likes hamming it up when he has those moments to speak dramatically for the camera.

Weaknesses:

• Sheltered Life: He was raised on things that, while Vought-centric, weren’t necessarily bad. Duty, honor, sacrifice. All things to admire, until the bubble crashes down and the real world knocks every single thing he learned right on its ass. And Homelander?! Homelander becomes the truth that he lives in pursuit of. This places him at potential odds with heroes and villains alike, and makes Vought a little harder than they should to keep his clean image unmarred.

• Type-cast: The company struck gold when the Vanguard/Valkyrie or #Vankyrie story took place, and since then they’ve been riding on years of the same thing in different variations. There’s nothing he can do about it, because he’s been convinced that it’s the only thing holding his numbers up enough to be even a conversation piece regarding future Seven placement  .

• Hero all the Time: Some people have a life they can lead when not in uniform, but he has a face too recognizable. The pressure to live the lie to such an extent requires minor blow-ups here and there that he prefer to have with supers who can live through it, but beggars can’t be choosers, now can they?

Connections

Valkyrie - Knows her personally. Understands she wants to get rebranded, and honestly wants it for her as well, but can’t shake the fear that he’ll sink if he lets her go. He’d only act directly against her if needed, but otherwise doesn’t exactly help either…

Extras

Theme Song: Real American

Corporate Sponsorships:

Take your pick! He’s who they use when they can’t afford Homelander, so NASCAR, car dealerships. Vought’s Patriotic Pop. Any Verteran’s organization able to foot his appearance fee.

Miscellaneous Notes:

• Has an ongoing scripted thing with Valkyrie. Every time he defeats her he'll say "There's goodness in her…I know it. I just pray that she finds it…one day. " and people know the line by heart and eat it up.

• The company unofficially officially demands a point wear Valkyrie punches his shield during a scene they have together.

• Is just a son of a bitch who adores Homelander even if he has a healthy fear of him. He's not a boot-licker, but he treats an order from Homelander as if it's straight from God's mouth. And God made Abraham kill his son, right? Homelander, like God, just needs a sacrifice here and there to make sure you're on his side.

Player goals

I’d like to pursuit his need to get to the Seven and how it might result in his slow and painful downfall, or meteoric rise!

Primarch

Okay so far we have Warden, Lineage, Vanguard, Metalia & potentially Spectre. Pretty solid start I'd say.

Aiden

I’d like to reprise my role as an executive, posting the old sheet for the concept for approval, Primarch. I’ll edit soonish, posting from my phone sucks.

Also in case any members of the seven want a complete asshole for a handler, let me know!

Victor Caine

Character: Victor Caine

"Well there goes my next bonus."
Player: Aiden

Role: Executive for Vought international and handler
Powers/Special abilities: None, Vincent is a non modified (Classified) human.

Personality:

• Ambitious
Victor was not the “come up from the mailroom” success story. Once upon a time, he was a lawyer with a degree and a mountain of debt. He wanted to go out in the world and do good and the world took a shit on him. When he was picked up cheaply by Vought he was meant to be some paper pusher in the endless dungeons of the legal department but Victor refused to let that shit continue. He began to work hard, not that bootstrap bullshit, he lied, betrayed, fucked and blackmailed his way to the top.

• Charismatic
Victor overly toothy smile and ability to be jovial when needed has done a lot for his career. Underestimating Victor is the worst mistake a person can do but when he needs to turn on the charm, he cleans up well and can hang with World Leaders and the “Upper Crust” of society if it will benefit him in some way.

• Sociopath Evil
Take what you wish from the meaning. Some would call it selfish, cruel, demanding. Your feelings don’t matter when his bottom line is at stake (and Vought’s interest he supposes). Your problems are inconveniences that will be removed or be your demise. Victor isn’t about to go and kick over a basket of puppies, he might adopt the little fuckers and roll around on the floor in his office until he gets bored. Feelings are temporary annoyances, be it; lust, love, obsession, joy or sadness, get your shit together and get back to fucking work.

History:

• Before Vought
Victor grew up in the middle of bumfuck-nowhere, Texas where his future consisted of oil drilling or farming. He took the first bus out of that shit hole, enlisted in the army and served long enough to finish school and get his law degree. His attempts to find work failed and out of desperation accepted a paralegal type role with Vought. Those early days were shit, he lived out of his car, could barely afford a living. Once he reached his limit he decided to make a change.

• Early Days with Vought and the rise of Victor Caine
Victor was good at collecting information and slowly began to put together various pieces that would make him look good. He did not hesitate to throw those around him under the bus or direct fire. He did not expect others to risk themselves for him and didn't for them. He made his way to the "middle" of some legal team that was sent overseas to secure contracts and paperwork for the various supe-babies. In Russia, he managed to finalize a deal that brought Talia Zolotov into his and Vought's hands. His work was noticed at the top and soon enough he was acting legal liaison between European relations and Vought.

• Excutive Caine
Victor continued to make his name for himself within the company, increasing his status and wealth respectively. He secured deals, acted on the company's behalf and was perceived as loyal. Why shouldn't be loyal? Vought made him rich and provided a lifestyle even the wealthy yearned for. The transition from liaison to handler was easy, he not longer dealing with entire countries, instead, he handled a few supers and secured them and himself some very profitable contracts. Talia Zolotov is currently his supe he represents, among others.

Relationships/Connections:

• Talia Zolotov
The relationship between him and Talia began when he secured a great future for her parents in exchange for rights and access to her once she was born. While he had no contact after the contracts were signed he did keep his part of the deal and made sure Talia's father rise with the force went smoothly. He met the young woman nearly two decades later when he became her handler and continues to oversee her best interest.
• TBD

Secrets/Gossip:

• Envy/jealosy
Some think Victor is jealous of the supes and secretly wishes to be one.

I don't suppose you're interested in tweaking him to be Senior VP of Hero Management? Would tie him into the plot more neatly, and secure a much needed role.
We could take the 'each Supe has their own handler/manager' route again but it might be ambitious with the number of players it would require.
That being said he's welcome to come back, and there's no rush on the edits. I imagine it'll be Friday or the Weekend before we really move to kick things off.

I came up with a hero for The Seven or a different team if she's not badass enough:

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
Character: Epiales
Player: inkybus

Role: The Seven
Powers/Special abilities:

• Peak Human Condition - Epiales' body is comparable to olympic level competitors;
• Narcotic Essence - her blood, sweat, saliva or tears: everything in liquid form from her body is the most powerful drug that can be found and if she briefly brushed her pinky against the skin of a regular human, they would be knocked into a trippy unconsciousness for ten minutes (but at least it is not addictive);
• Combat Thinker - she is supernaturally gifted in spotting weaknesses, feints and patterns to take advantage in any physical altercation;

Personality:

• Brave - despite being just slightly more durable than a human, Epiales is remarkably brave and has no qualms throwing down with those who would disturb the peace;
• Calm - she is remarkably level-headed and difficult to anger;
• Lazy - unless it is to kick criminal butt or lazing in a pool on a flotation device with a cool cocktail, it's difficult to get her to do anything unless it's an order from the higher-ups;

History:

• found in an orphanage in the midwest, she was fostered by two Vought employees that worked on the V-compound: the couple agreed to letting Epiales in on the experiment, as she excelled in every physical tests and was overall a laid-back and attentive student- a perfect piece of clay to mould into a soldier;
• her powers started appearing when she became nineteen, while she lounged around in the pool of a friend's house: because of her powers, the few friends that were with her in the pool fell unconscious in the water and had to be rescued- thankfully, there were no deaths, though one of the young girls had to stay in the hospital for a bit longer for thorough checks to make sure she hadn't suffered brain damage due to the asphyxiation;
• after that, Epiales was taught the basics in a variety of martial arts, mostly wrestling, mixed martial arts and kick-boxing before moving on to ranged weaponry, such as handguns and rifles- but due to her power, she favours tranquilliser-like guns and dart-throwers;

Relationships/Connections:

• TBD
• TBD
• TBD

Secrets/Gossip:

• due to how her powers were discovered, some people speculate she had something against her friends she almost unwittingly drowned;
• whispered behind her back is her inability to find someone who she can be intimate with, due to her power sending anyone who touches her with their bare skin to cloud nine thousand;
• while the narcotic her body produces cannot be reproduced in any lab, some doctors doing physical check-ups on her seem to have 'misplaced' samples of trippy stuff that is then diluted or mixed with other drugs: rumours abound about her involvement but… anyone who knows her is keenly aware that she is too lazy to chase more money than she already has;

I think Epiales looks fine for the most part? Supes tend to be above human in physical ability so you might bump up that physical enhancements? The other two abilities seem particularly unrelated unless I've missed something? There's usually more of a link, and she comes across as having been a bit old for her first Compound V injection which is generally, if perhaps not exclusively done to the very young (or prior to birth) but by and large looks fine.

That's fair enough: I would change her powers into the following
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
Powers/Special abilities:

• Super Human Condition - Epiales' body benefits from enhanced durability and strength, as well as superhuman speed and reflexes;
• Narcotic Essence - her blood, sweat, saliva or tears: everything in liquid form from her body is the most powerful drug that can be found and if she briefly brushed her pinky against the skin of a regular human, they would be knocked into a trippy unconsciousness for thirty minutes (but at least it is not addictive);
• hypodermic boneshots - Epiales fingertips can be shot by her (they regenerate after) and they will function as hypodermic needles to inject enemies with her biological narcotic (the effective range is 50 metres against lightly protected targets);

And I can change her history to be fostered at a very young age, with her foster parents' express purpose to become one of the few people that are experimented with the compound: would that work?

“If all we have is this imagined empty canvas of endless possibility...this potential heaven...then let it be our haven. A place of marriage between two souls desperate to feel something beyond the cruel tedium of real life. If we truly be the masters who dream these dreams then let our innermost desires fuel the adventures we create and the love that we make here, let it all unfold endlessly or for only a brief moment in time but for as long as it breathes let it devour and I will forgive your boldness if you will be so good as to forgive me mine...” ~ Chantarelle

Andronica

Posting a revised Spectre with a tentative FC for consideration of a sidelined Supe; someone who has a good following but for whatever PR reasons was never pulled into the Seven. Depending on whether or not I can find a suitable FC vibe for Katya I'll maybe just stick to Spectre, or I may peruse some other power sets depending on what kind of niches need filling!

Spectre
Character: Victoria Hall
Vought Alias: Spectre
Player: Andronica
Role: TBD

Powers/Special abilities:

🔮 The Prestige: Spectre can create tangible projections of objects, events, and people. By far her most popular manifestation of this power is to conjure clones of herself. These copies may be stationary or act out an extension of her will and collapse when they take significant damage.

🔮 Fever Dreams: Her psionic powers let Spectre connect with someone's mind to peek into memories or lull someone into a hypnotic stasis, for example. These tricks are choreographed entirely in the person's head. Close proximity brings about the most powerful results though it's not as long lasting as her physical projections. Having her concentration broken will sever this connection. However, they are so potent for their duration that her target would be unable to tell the difference between her facade and reality.

🔮 Vanishing Act: She can apply the apparition effects of her powers inward on herself. In simpler terms, she changes her own matter density to phase through obstacles. A grey-violet aura surrounds her body when she does so. Spectre was far from the hardiest, heaviest hitter for Payback, nor could she fly unless you count a bit of creative 'levitation', but she knew how to avoid damage and save face (literally).

Personality:

🔮 Persuasive: Vic is a disarmingly charming woman. Behind the smile is a woman who will do whatever she can to get what she wants. She's graceful in her mannerisms and has a silver tongue that cuts as much as it gilds her words. She's played on simple psychology tactics to lead other people to believe her desires were their idea in the first place and bring about a favourable outcome to whatever she wants. Whether this is due in part to her reputation or her powers is hard to tell. As far as Victoria is concerned, it's a rather happy medium of both. After all, you can't step out of the spot light and never expect it to follow - conveniently, in this case.

🔮 Impatient: While Vic can and has played the long game, she's an opportunist at heart who needs instant gratification. Victoria literally can make her dreams come true with the flick of a wrist. So when faced with the array of unknowns in real people, she's less inclined to sit pretty and hope for the best.

🔮 Grandoise: She is Beauty, she is Grace... It's hard not to turn and look. There is an almost god-like air about everything that Victoria does as though it's in her blood and breath, helping her slide perfectly into the inhuman role of Spectre. Every word, every step, it all carries with them a certain gravitas one expects of a socialite who lights up a room simply by passing through. She strives for the best things in life and will never settle which is part of the reason she happily turned away from Payback to focus on herself. Even when she's telling you to fuck off, she'll do it in style.

History:

🔮 Where it Started Victoria grew up a single child with a silver spoon firmly planted in her mouth, and it's probably a big part of why she is the way she is. Her father is a famous lawyer who works with tech firms prominently in Silicon Valley so he was often away for work, though she and her housewife mother were never wanting for a single thing. They lived in a modest estate in Burlington, Vermont, climbing various elite ladders and playing socialite up into her school years. She went off to boarding school at fifteen then went to work on a degree in Psychology which she fast tracked through expedited summer courses and extra credit from practium.

🔮 TBD

🔮 TBD

Relationships/Connections:

🔮 TBD

Secrets/Gossip:

🍆 Since her debut at a benefits concert, a rumour has been going around that Spectre is involved in a sex tape found somewhere in the deepest crevices of the internet. In it, she apparently makes creative use of her clones... Whether this was a completely baseless attack on the pretty fledgling Supe or if Vought has the original kept in a vault for blackmail purposes is entirely unknown.
