I'm watching Roland Garros semis, kinda find tennis more entertaining than football, but I might watch the Czechs, although I have a bad feeling that their participation will turn into a fiasco. :-\ They were all oh-so-confident that I really think we won't make it out of the initial group. ;D

Not sure yet whom I'll root for, besides us... maybe England, when I saw the long row of injuries. ;D

I'm usually not into football, but it's hard not to get interested this time, as I'm living in one of the host cities and all that  ;D

Also, I'm curious of how Poland will do this time around. I... don't have too big expectations  ;D

XD Neither do I, but that seems to be in sharp contrast with everyone else's expectations of our team. Just one of the newspaper headlines: "We're not outsider and I believe we will prove it."

We lost to Hungary in the last prepare match. ::)

Given how far my country managed to get (runner-up) in the World Cup, I doubt I'm gonna be able to escape the football craze :-\  Hell, "we" aren't even playing tonight, yet a lot of channels have coverage of..whatever match is on tonight (Russia?)

Yay! I'm so happy there's a Euro thread!

I run the Euro pool for my work. It's kind of depressing when people who have very little interest in soccer pick outlandish results and still manages to win the damn thing. Oh well, I think it's fun. :O

Did anyone see the Russia v. Czech Republic game?  I'm curious to see whether they will be any good, both for UEFA and for World Cup in 2014. 

Germany v. Portugal should be interesting, as should Netherlands v. Denmark.  Group of Death!

Also, if anyone cares, USA's first semifinal qualifying match was against Antigua & Barbuda today.  They won 3-1, although they looked sloppy and sluggish doing so. :\

So is this one right now. Any grinning Danish Elliquians out there? RVP needs to get his act together  or be subbed. Holland could suffer a very English experience this tournament if they don't turn this around in 10 minutes.
