Clans of the Five Kingdomes (Mermaid RP)

Ok I've been in the mood for a  merpeople type RP. Rather then the typical looking mermaids I was thinking we could do a game of different clans molded after the sea creatures that clan rides, like a clan of shark merpeople ridding great whites, or a pod of orca riders Of course their top half would be humanoid with a tail like the animal they take after, but with the colors of that creature continuing through the humanoid half of their body as well.

I was thinking this could be a fantasy would with in reality, existing with in Earths five oceans but unknown to the humans above, of course I wouldn't mind having human involvement in the storyline later on, but to start off with I'd mostly like to keep it just underwater people.

If enough people are interested I'll get some threads going, hopefully tomorrow (or the next day) if I have time. Work's a bitch.

though i question one thing...how do the mechanics of the shark people work...idk...i just cant visualize the sharkmen
