Strike Witches 1996: The Sand Witches. (Active recruitment)

This is a call to all Witches, and Military Personnel. The Fate of the world hangs in the balance as the Neuroi once again appeared to threaten the very existence of Mankind.

It has been nearly 40 years since the Neuroi have been defeated, and chased off the face of the Earth. the Countries of the world celebrated, and vowed never to fight each other again. However, It wouldn't be long before the fickleness of man would appear as new conflicts erupted across the globe. It would seem that Mankind is never comfortable unless he is fighting.

Even though Man still engages in its ages old struggle. There is an Unwritten rule that is never broken. "Witches do not fight!" There is always a nagging fear that the Neuroi will come back, and the countries of the world do not want to jeopardize their only known reliable weapon against the Neuroi Scourge.

August 23rd, 1995. The Fear was made real as a massive Nueroi appeared in the Middle east over night. Instantly the Countries of the world ceased their bickering and launched their witches. Confident because of stories from the First encounter with the Neuroi back in the 40's that have been blow way out proportion. The Witches threw themselves at the New Neuroi with abandon. It would turn out disastrous. Only 15% of the witches that attacked the Neuroi survived.

The Neuroi then half buried itself into the ground in Saudi Arabia. Thus the new Neuroi War began

The story would start about a year later. Our Characters would part of the "Great Witch Draft" to fill the ranks. I am thinking this is more of a ground war. Stressing more on Tank witches. their will be some Air battles, but for the most part. The Air Witches would be used for Ground support. Also, this is a "Mixed Bag" Type story in that "Regulars" (Military Personnel without Magical Powers) will be more effective, and an active part of the Defense as New Anti-Neuroi Weapons have been developed since the 40s

Familiar is the Animal traits your Witch manifests when they are actively channeling their magical ability. It would show itself in the form of ears, and a tail.

The ability slots are separated by their functions.

The Passive abilities are abilities that are present when the Witch is channeling her magic/Flying/etc. Ex. Barkhorn has increased strength when she manifests her familiar. This allows her to weild two MG-42s, as well as the BF-262 Striker Weapons's package. You're witch(es) are allowed a maximum of Two. My main character's passive traits are strength (So she could weild the massive GAU-8 Avenger cannon), and Resilience to endure the punishment of ground attack (She is a ground attack specialist). There are no costs to these abilities.

Special Abilities are abilities that can be called upon during combat, but they have a cost. My character's special is called "Iron Maiden" Where her form becomes impervious to damage for a very limited amount of time (30 seconds), but it is a tremendous drain on her magic, and she has to sleep for 2-3 days continuously to recover.

PERSONALITY: Miyoko is your typical wallflower. She is basically the type of person you'd see reading quietly in a corner. With a crushed self-esteem, she tends be very meek. Due feeling so alone, Miyoko craves affection and a kind female friend. If she obtained these things, she would probably make sure to never lose them. In other words, she's just a ghost of girl desiring companionship.

DISLIKES: Bullies, loud areas, sports
PASSIVE ABILITIES: Increased grip, Improved Aim
SPECIAL ABILITY: Juggernaut; Miyoko channels most of her remaining magic power into speed and agility, making her seem as if she was a blur to others. However, this technique is extremely exhausting for her, causing her to pass out after its usage.
BACKGROUND:
Miyoko was born to her Japanese mother and her American father. She inherited most of her features from her mother, though she has her father's skin tone. She was very happy at a young age, but her self esteem was soon crushed as she entered school. Miyoko was made fun of throughout her school life for her nationality, nerdy habits, and budding sexuality. Any friend she even had gotten had been one of those "fair weather friends".  Fortunately for her, she had graduated high school early and she current has her degree in web design. Miyoko mostly just resides in her apartment (which is filled to the brim with otaku-related merchandise and objects), only going out for her book store employee job and other necessities. Sadly for her, she has now been dragged away from her solitary lifestyle by the draft.

"Sea Sirens" is the other Strike Witches Game I started, and been playing with Sessha, Major (Squared), and Pendarious. It has been going on for the past 2 years. Even though it has gone on so long. We're always welcoming New Members. If it were a Series, I say would say we're just starting "Season 2"

It is in the more traditional SW setting. Mid-1945 Pacific Ocean. It is a mixture of Fleet, and Witch combat.
