Ever since the moment he was created, Set has been devilishly mischievous.  He loves to experiment on humans, and is quite delighted when it is to their detriment.  His latest trick is to visit Pharaohs in the land of Egypt and give them special god like powers.  He quite happily stands behind them as each and every one immediately goes on a conquest to be the one to rule everything.  But of course, since Set is the god of chaos, nothing is ever quite what it seems.  Every single time at a random moment he abandons each of them just before a crucial battle.  The Pharaoh is stripped of the power, and it is said you can hear Set cackle while his latest project is slaughtered.  Despite his reputation, the rulers keep taking the power, always believing they will be the first not to be abandoned.  However, he comes across one ruler who astounds him.  This ruler accepts the power, but does not start a conquest.  Instead he uses it only to defend his people against attacks.  Set becomes quite taken with this strange human and needs to investigate.  Neither of them ever imagined this Pharaoh would be the one to capture the god's heart.
