Movie Based RP Ideas

I'm thinking about starting some new RPs.

First one will be based around the film: "Chronicle". Same story, a group of friends get telekinetic powers, as they get stronger conflict arises. I havent written out all the details because they are subject to change based on who wants to join.

Second Idea is an RP based around the idea of: "Sucker Punch". The Story will be quite a bit different than the film, but incorporate the whole idea of "escape" through the fictional worlds during key events in the plot. If anyone wants to make suggestions on the setting for this story, it's open to discussion. I just wanted to see who'd be interested in a kind of story like this.

You're a mind reader I was thinking of starting up a rp based on "Sucker Punch" and as for "Chronicle". That's cool too.

I just bought "Chronicle" last night and "Sucker Punch" also happened to be part of my viewing list. So I thought, "Hey, I like the idea of using different gaming genres as worlds in the characters' imaginations"

Usually I cant get enough people participating in my Super Power RPs, but "Chronicle" did quite well with a smaller sized cast. So I can pull it off as long as we get like 3 or 4 other people in on that one.

The Very end though surprised me.

I'll probably make individual threads tomorrow. I'm going to need a few more interested bodies though. Preferably 2 or 3 more people minimum.

BTW, I got dibs on the kid who goes crazy   :P  Well depending on how many members we get depends on how we'll have to split up the roles. Just saying, we cant have EVERYONE wanting to be the abused outcast type, ect. One of the charms of Chronicle was the balanced cast. How we had the really pessimistic kid, the popular kid....and I guess Matt was kinda portrayed as the class clown.

Tentatively interested in Chronicle.  I saw it but felt like it didn't have anything new or amazing to add to the genre (and hated the whole camera thing).

A game loosely based on Sucker Punch could be pretty interesting.  I'd love to see what's done with that.

At least Telekinesis kept the camera more steady than when they did that technique with "Cloverfield". But still, "Found Footage" is not really my cup of tea.

I'd be interested in a Sucker Punch type concept.  Would most of the game play be done in the fantasy world or the game's "real world"?

I'm going to try and keep it around 50/50. Though it's likely the fantasy parts might go faster and the real world will likely end up getting drawn out.

It really depends on the members.

Since most of the fantasy worlds are based on videogame genres, we'll need to go over what genres will appear in this RP.

So far I have an idea for a GTA/Mafia style world with a lot of car chase scenes.
