EDIT - June 13, 3014: just wanted to note at the top here that these are all still valid. I just don't feel quite right about bumping such an old thread, but if you find this via my profile, or just randomly, I'd still be interested in discussing these particular ideas. Thanks! :)

-------------------

I present my ideas in this forum because at least a couple of them are not necessarily solo games. I just want to find active GMs, but I'd love to make many of these for small groups, 3 to 4 players tops, plus the GM, not just games for myself. I think a couple of the ideas would really shine with a decent small group, actually.

I would also like to point out that my ideas are really very broad in scope. General themes only, for the most part, as I like to think I'm all about the possibilities. Most of my concepts are for longerterm play, so we can see where the RP takes us, let it evolve rather than just stuff ourselves into a set program or the limits of a single scene.

My ideas are meant to be run in a more traditional tabletop style format, meaning the GM should not be one of the players. I like a format where the GM is a moderator, even when the game is freeform, having that one person who's dedicated task is running the cast of billions that is everyone else in the world that is not a PC (I have seen games where rotating GMs or people acting as GM in threads they are not playing in has worked very well, but that's for games with a lot of players, not my 3-4 preferred max. ;)).

Assume that all of my ideas should have the codes [BON-E] and [NC-Extreme]*, and please feel free to check my ONs and OFFs (link in my sig!).

*[Extreme] Note: That tag is really only to cover the possibility of bestiality, as I'm really not into any of the other stuff that falls into Extreme and would limit games to [NC-Exotic] otherwise.

Mecha/Giant Robot: (something of a real craving)
Another group idea, I'd love to get something like this going (as a player...I'm not a good GM online, really, heh). My personal preference would be something in the more classical Battletech-era, 3025-3045 or so, for those of you familiar with the setting (pre-Clans, yup. Hate the Clans.  :P ), but I'd be happy to do something more anime style as well (Gunbuster!  ;D ). Either way, definitely system game, definitely with a small group. As an example using the Battletech setting, a small mercenary unit, lance size to fit just the PCs or having the PCs as the lance in a company size merc unit (helps to limit the number of persistent NPCs the GM has to manage) would be ideal. Even more anime style, a small unit like that would be best, though it would open up more options.

This idea could be combined with either of the two immediately below, depending on what options the players and GM might like to explore. One could argue that a Battletech game where the PCs play freelance Lostech salvagers kicking around the fringes of the Successor States actually fits both Post-Apoc and Space Opera!

Post-Apocalypse:
I find myself thinking about the idea of a 'just-after...' kind of post-apocalypse game. Not generations or hundreds of years, so not Mad Max/Road Warrior or Fallout 3, but more of just mere days, perhaps a handful of months at most, after whatever catastrophe got the world into the shit. I'm not sure about specifics of any kind, it could be the classic 'bomb', complete collapse of world markets, zombies, or even something as nutty as playing some of the people 'Left Behind' by the Rapture (personally I think humanity would weather that storm, but "the experts" seem to think the world would immediately descend into chaos, and that'd make for a better game ;) ). I would love to do this as a small group of PC survivors, probably using d20 Modern as the system, though as we're all most likely human, freefrom could be acceptable.

Space Opera/Sci-Fi:
I would still really love the idea of a grand space opera that's not Star Wars or Star Trek, just a more generic interstellar sci-fi epic that's about medium on the hardness scale (ie artificial gravity for sure, but maybe not FTL communication) like the old Traveller RPG. I could see this freeform-ish, as most of the PCs would be human or an alien species that isn't going to do anything crazy, with the only real requirement being that the action revolves around a starship of some kind, anything from a small transport to a massive battleship. I could do this solo, but this is one that would be nicer with a small group, so we can each take a specific role on the team, yknow? There should be a fair bit of exploration (so we can be molesterfied by exotic alien flora and fauna! :D) and a little bit of fighting, both on the ground and in space.

Note: Star Wars would still be cool, though for any group thing I think I'd prefer for it to be Old Republic era, though if everyone else were comfortable with limiting one Jedi to the party, classic trilogy, between eps IV and V, would be good too. And no, I don't have to be that one Jedi; always thought a female Han Solo would be pretty hawt. ;)

Super Heroine/Villain: *open again*
I know there's a game or two going on already in this genre, but from what I've seen they are all much bigger and more freefrom than I like. I can do freeform supers, but only with thoroughly defined characters and limits, and even then I wouldn't be comfortable with it if there's no more than two or three PCs, and that small group must be a team from the outset. I would really much prefer a system game any way you slice it, since with superheroes and supervillains you can pretty much guarantee that almost every character will have vastly different capabilities from each other. With a system in place, I'm much more keen on the idea of a larger team, but again, with a real GM to design and run adventures and encounters for us.
Speaking generally, I'm pretty open as to actual setting. It can be established, like Marvel or DC, or completely original. I have enough different character concepts for superheroes and villains that I can yank one out to match just about anything, just know that I'm always big on having a weakness. I do like my characters to be defeated so they can suffer the consequences, after all...

Kunoichi:
Probably one of my more specific ideas for sure, and easy to define. This is classic, pure Japanese hentai female-ninja action. Examples are everywhere, games, anime, 4chan should have several threads at any one time...I could do this as a system, but freeform works since it's such a defined-by-genre idea. I'd just really like to do an RP where the GM is running my sexy little kunoichi through a typical tentacle, demon and gang-rape laden hentai plot. An extra player or two would be awesome as well, if the GM is sure he can keep up with it.

Super-spy/Techno-Thriller:
This idea is more geared towards solo play, if for no other reason than my view of a single field operative would kind of force the other players into crummy support roles and I don't really want to do that to people. Also, it's definitely one I'd want to use a system for, say d20 Modern for example, since I'd like that element of chance that only a good set of arbitrary rules and rolls can add to a game.
This idea is pretty easy to sum up, it's all about the same kind of cool kick ass action as shows like Alias and 24, movies like the Bourne series, La Femme Nikita (the original, no crummy Hollywood remakes, please! :P), and of course, the Bond films, and just about anything Tom Clancy ever even looked at slight funny. I'd be totally fine to toss in some anime influences too, like Ghost in the Shell or Bubblegum Crisis.
The only real difference here is the good Elli twists to make it erotic and nasty, I mean, we all know what kinds of interrogation techniques will get used on my girl when she gets caught, eh? ;)

As a slight variation, it might also be fun to use the d20 Modern shadow-thingie setting, throw in a little magic and fantasy races, just to spice things up. I started a game like this here before, but the GM wasn't able to keep up the posts so it kinda died, but I still have the character if anyone is interested in seeing a HKAT drow hottie concept.

Bad Day (Mundane?):
This one is really just for me. It's just one of my flat out favorite fantasies, and I would be remiss not to include it here. Definitely freeform, since it's pretty much about going from one sexual situation to another, and solo, since it is, after all, my fantasy.
I'd be playing either Catholic schoolgirl (like 17 or 18...it's all about the uniform) or a young, early 20s, business woman or secretary. The setup can vary some, as it can be as simple as getting on the wrong bus or off at the wrong subway stop (missed the right one and had to switch to go back?) and running into some gang, or complex as a hostage situation in a school or a bank. The schoolgirl could also just get gangraped behind the gym or in the boys locker room, the secretary in the boardroom or the janitors closet. You get the idea, I'm sure.
From there things just keep rolling, one situation to the next. The gang has their fun and leaves, after 'modifying' my characters clothing, but before she recovers some homeless guys find her...or she recovers and tries to get herself to the cops, but she finds some rather corrupt ones instead...or some pimp thinks she's a whore...
It is meant to be ongoing. So even after the first day she could find herself in some kind of blackmail situation. And one fantasy I've always loved, a pretty young woman somehow, for some reason, being sent to a men's prison. That would be so...wrong.
Obviously, this is freeform. There's not really enough to it to warrant a system. ;)

Police/Military: (please see: Female Rookie Cop has a Bad Day(s) (NC + Ex))
This idea is meant to kind of blend the two ideas above, Bad Day and Super-Spy, and in such a way that it'd support having an additional player or two involved (it could still be solo, mind you).
It would be a little looser thematically than the normal Bad Day, but not so much as to require a system beyond the GM maybe making a few behind the scenes rolls if it suited him or her, because it'd definitely be more focused on getting to the naughty stuff than the regular/solo Super-Spy concept is.
In a nutshell, the character(s) is(are) a cop or soldier of one kind or another (just so long as there's a uniform here, it's all about the uniforms ;)) and either goes on a call or a mission where things pretty much go wrong. Unlike most of my games, where it's all about possibles, things that could happen, the idea here is that they do get caught and raped. The place where possibilities come into it is where things go after, like they could free themselves, or they could get sold as sex slaves, just that if they do get free it really is just so they can get caught again.
I'd kind of like that, the idea of escaping and getting caught again, mainly because then we could have some kind of neat overarching story progress as the character stumbles or gets dragged from one sexual torture scene to the next, maybe something they can still stop/accomplish if they play it right, too.

Okay, enough for now. That's twice as many ideas as games I'd allow myself to play in, so that's good! :)

I'd be interested in GM'ing a super-spy/techno thriller game for you, using d20 modern. Le me know if you're interested. I can facilitate the entire concept/plot or we can enter a dialgoue to agree on the specifics.

Anathanasia

I would like to discuss the setting at least a little, make sure we're on the same page, but kind of a bare minimum just so I know what sort of character I should be making. Beyond that, I think it would be pretty cool to let you take the reins. More like a real game that way, when I have to follow the plot and figure out what's going on same as anyone else.

How do you feel about the idea of using their semi-magical/supernatural setting? I don't need to, I just already have a level 7 drow fast-hero/gunslinger already made up. ;) We can certainly do something else if you'd prefer.

Other than that, anything setting wise you already have in mind you'd like to share?

(ps, let's not consider this a done deal just yet, just 'negotiations', but I am definately interested. It's one of my real faves! :))

I'd rather keep this gritty and hyperrealistic, if you don't mind. I was thinking a fast-paced action-heavy game where your character is recruited from one of the normal agencies (FBI, CIA, Military Intelligence, etc.) to a special project. While resourcefulnes, creativity, intelligence, stamina and exceptional willpower is expected where she comes from, this place is above and beyond all that.

Visually, if you can use that word for a text-based game, I'm seeing stark scyscrapers in glass, massive explosions, tight crawlways, heavy gunfights, rooftop chases - and domestic and international villains ranging from thugs and terrorists to organized crime and corporate executives.

The agency that your character belongs to won't be a all nice and happy place. Moles, backstabbing, paranoia are keywords here. Still, there'll be a team of NPCs that acts as your character support; technicians, advisors, backup etc. But I'm thinking will actually roleplay through your introduction to the project, instead of having your character know a lot of stuff that you don't.

Also, I'm thinking about playing with the format a little, perhaps play with a bit of Lost-type flashbacks (that we'll roleplay through before returning to present-time action).

If you have any ideas to elaborate on this or take it a different direction, I'm very open to adapt it. If you're looking for some mindfucks, I might include some bizarre elements, but rather as a surprise for you, than a premise of the setting - like suddenly introducing zombies (not that I will, just an example).

Anathanasia

Hmm, yah, that all sounds very appealing to me! Even the part with the zombies, especially if they are kind of a scientific basis like Res Evil T-Virus or 28 Days Later rage 'zombies'.

Okay, I'll go start hunting down the box with my d20 modern rulebook (I didn't bother to unpack a lot of my 'odder' or older games after my last move..shelf space...and I think my d20 modern is with my 3.0 DnD and d20 Star Wars...) so just let me know the stuff I need for character building (points and levels?) and I'll get on it. :)

I'm sure you're aware that most of the d20 details can be found online as well. The old 3.5 SRD is freely available and contains everything but character level progression.

I'm thinking playing through the classic "sweet-spot" 8-14 should be nice. Having your character start out as very experienced but with room for improvement. Say level 8, with a 32 point-buy.

Anathanasia

Yup, I know, found my actual book, though. Took less than 10 minutes, actually, hehe.

I'm not all that familiar with any appropriate supplements, though I know I can 'aquire' them easy enough. Are there any you want to use or shall we just stick to the core d20 modern book?

I'll get started anyways, got it kinda figured out some, Fast/Charismatic and maybe a small start on Infiltrator. :)

As for background, I've been thinking of going for the classic military background. Someone with the ability for spec ops, but due to gender limitations can't go that route, so switches to spy...

That's just basic, though. Any thoughts you might like to add, maybe to include some elements of what you're thinking?

Sounds good. Perhaps you might want to include some international experience in her background. Her parents could have been diplomats; spending years at a time here and there around the world; giving her the needed skills and languages to blend in across the globe. Other than that, a military background is perfect.

Anathanasia

I was thinking about that...I'm getting started on the numbers now. It's tough trying to be good at everything on 32 points, lol.

You should try being tough on 25 points! That's hard! :)

Anathanasia

Believe me, I know! But at least most other concepts allow you to specialise. Super-spy kinda needs to be better than just well rounded, hehe. Not enough feats either...lol. I'm trying to remind myself that she's not going to be a super spy just yet, she's still kinda just starting out into this world, I figure.

Kolbrandr

Hey, just wanted to note an interest in getting a supers game going, though I'd honestly prefer to play rather than run. Would likewise far prefer system over freeform, Mutants and Masterminds 2e being my personal ideal.

Very sort of notional campaign style preferences would be something akin to the Annihilation events or the LOSH books, in the sense of cosmic spanning adventure and drama both external and interpersonal, or something done ala the earlier runs of the Authority with global scale craziness, political meddling, and somewhat.. ah.. warped within team dynamics (well, Apollo and the Midnighter had a basically healthy relationship compared to the others, but still).

I'm cool with smaller scale stuff, I've just always wanted to play in a campaign that trucks in the above, and they never seem to occur.

Kolbrandr

Ah, or not I suppose. *snaps fingers*

Anathanasia

Bumpage!

I'm still looking for another game, maybe two.

Besides the spy one (check out my thread in the 'Solos' section: https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=19211.0), I'm game for just about any of the others.

Any GMs up to the task, PM or reply here, and we can discuss details, and if we want to keep it solo or bring in a couple more players. :)

MasterMischief

I have proposed running a Traveler type game.  I would have to check with the other two interested parties and make sure they are fine with moving into the erotic side of things.

Kunoichi

Hmm.  I know that my local Barnes and Noble actually has a copy of the Mongoose Publishing edition of Traveller in stock...

Of course, if you strip away the Star Wars-specific elements, Star Wars Saga Edition can also make for a good generic Space Opera system.  You'd want Starships of the Galaxy as well, though, if you really wanted to make it be focused around the starships and starship combat.

At any rate, I'd definitely love to play in that idea, regardless of which system is used or if it's freeform instead.   I actually have a good concept for a pilot character already worked out for a freeform game, at that, so for certain systems, she could probably be translated over pretty easily...

PhantomPistoleer

I for one wouldn't mind playing in a Space Opera using Star Wars Core/Saga, but would very much prefer anything Mutants & Masterminds 2E related.  If we did the latter, I would like to play in a team of villains pretending to be good guys, just so my villainous character might have his way with his female teammates (since they are villains, too, they just might like it!).  :o

AND!  If we did a space opera, I'd want to be a scoundrel pirate captain sex-crazed lunatic with a penchant for sadomasochism.  ::thumbs up!::

Anathanasia

Well, we've got 3 players and a GM interested in a sci-fi game, which is enough to start talking about it seriously, I think.

I'm personally okay with any system, probably, though I've never looked at the Star Wars Saga system. I can check into it if we actually get this going and need to make characters, though. :)

My only concern so far is MasterMischief, our prospective GM, notes that he can't post much during the week, and if that holds true that's no good. It's not personal, I just know myself well to be aware of my own limited attention span; if a good posting rate of at least one per day per player (although the occasional skip or two doesn't hurt...RL happens) can't be maintained, I won't be able to remain interested. Momentum is important for me. :/

And PP, why the hell do you think that being a villainess would mean she's more likely to enjoy rape? WTF? lol

UPDATE: re the space-opera idea:

MasterMischief can't be on during the week, which would mean way to slow a posting rate for my taste. In light of that, it's both a no go currently, and that means still open to talks, if any other prospective GMs are interested. We might still have a couple players here, so...we'll see?  ;D
