Personality: Despite his often serious demeanor, Samuel is well known to be light-hearted. While most who know him truly know this to be a farce due to his own conflictions with his job. While he enjoys his work and takes pride in it, he at times struggles with the fact that what he makes and maintains ultimately kills people. He has his good days and his bad, but in a pinch he is considered level headed and always willing to help out his friends. If he's not working on a special order, he is typically found at the Brothel flirting with the Madame, the Bartender, or even one of the female guards. (Surprisingly, he rarely goes to one of the working girls for company. Though he is happy to talk and have a good time with anyone if they approach him in one of his good moods.)
During the luls in business, he can be seen finding work around town doing all manner of work.

Appearance: Standing tall at 6'1" and a solid two hundred and twenty pounds, he is an athletic man despite his job's intricate work. His hands are rough from many years working a rough trade. His eyes hazel offsetting his brownish red hair. He keeps a clean beard and mustache, preferring blacks to browns for his pants, duster, and hat. Otherwise he wears a white button up shirt with a vest matching the color of his pants that day. Always seen with a carefully worked and pristine five round .36 caliber Paterson. When in need to defend the town or himself proper and some warning, he prefers his sterling silver with cherrywood stock .44 Winchester Rifle.
Background information:He is known to do almost all the work by hand from working the metal, shaping the stock, even doing the artist work if asked and paid for on stock and barrel. While he spends a fair bit of time doing mostly repair work and upkeep on the towns guns, he does get the occasional special order that has him working late into the nights. He set up shop in the town close to the inception, during his youth long before he made a name for himself as a proper gunsmith.
Despite this, he has kept his nose down for the most part and stayed out of the town politics when he can help it. He does attend town meetings though he finds himself a right place in the darkest corner and keeps his hat covering most of his face to help keep attention off him as best he can. After all, the people of the town who like to speak and like the limelight like to make sure it stays on them.
