It deals with some aspects of slavery, but slavery and smut are completely optional, and the game will be enjoyable with or without a desire to play those elements.
We are LGBTIQ+ positive, and will have many queer characters in the game. We also highly value diversity in all its forms.

Mankind will call what the fae do 'magic,' but the fae themselves will call it the working of glamour. Glamour is the basic component in a fae's life and exists in excess in the world of fae. Harnessing this natural element of the world, fae innately act as a conduit of primordial energies and can utilize these energies into performing various "magics" that scale with age. Fae are made of magic, and if they exhaust their glamour, it will start affecting their heart and lungs, shutting their organs down one-by-one. If they're in danger of such exertion, many fae will faint, and not wake up until some glamour is replenished. Food, drink and rest are required to replenish it—it may take days, depending on the level of exertion and the age of the fae.

Fae are "protected" by the abundance of glamour. It keeps them youthful, immortal, and healthy. Healing is possible in the Fae Realm that could never be fathomed by humans. Fae are easily the most powerful beings in this universe, but power comes with a price: their true name.

At birth, a fae's mother or father, or the next closest person in the room, is gripped with powerful magic, and the word or words they say after that magic will be the child's true name. Fae cannot disobey an order with their true name: they cannot even subvert it. They must follow the speaker's orders to the utmost of their inner ability. If it's impossible for them, they'll die trying to bring it to life. Nothing can counter a name order but another name order. Naturally, all fae jealously guard their true names as the most precious of jewels. A fae's name being learned is dangerous, for the fae, and for anyone who stands in the knower's way. All fae go by a nickname in their life and try to avoid situations where they must divulge their true name.

Fae Criminals & Slaves

Fae can be sentenced to become Hangmen if they are convicted of a crime by the Seelie or Unseelie courts. In that case, they're banished to the mortal realms, or go there willingly. A fae must never be enslaved: no fae may live as a slave. This is considered so fundamental that if a fae is taken as a slave, they cease to be considered legally a fae, and no other fae would lift a finger to help them, unless they knew them or cared on a personal level—maybe not even then. If a fae slave escapes, however, they will be welcomed back beyond the veil and reinstated to a court.

Age & Maturity

A fae matures psychologically and physically at the same rate as a human, but will stop aging at some point and live forever in that body, usually around 25 to 30, though some fae decide to age themselves further to 40 or 50. That, however, is not how the fae measure maturity.

Fae measure their age by their ascensions. A fae who is under 100 years of age is not considered fully mature yet, because they haven't had their first massive magic growth at 100. At the age of 100, on their hundredth birthday, after a week of feeling sick and weak and ill, a massive explosion of power will overtake them, described by the fae who experience it as extremely painful. After that, they'll be stronger by far. The same explosion will triple their power at the age of 300, then 700, then 899, then finally they get their final power boost at 1000 and are called elders ever after. A fae under 100 will almost never be allowed out of their court, considered in extreme danger from vampires and free changelings, since their magic isn't strong enough yet to protect themselves. A fae isn't given full responsibilities to their court until three hundred, when they're viewed as a mature adult.

Powers

— Fae can heal themselves and others. They can also use that healing to maim, hurt or kill, by manipulating blood vessels to tighten or muscles to atrophy, etc.
— Fae can change their appearance and the appearance of others and other things with glamour.
— Fae can become invisible.
— Fae can wield the natural elements, growing plants, summoning fire or storms—the natural world is at their beck and call.
— Fae can lock other creatures in contracts. These contracts are written on parchment and signed in blood. The stipulations must be followed by both parties. As long as it is, the fae gets power over the other creature—but the other creature gets powers very like a fae.
— Fae can alter humans into other creatures called changelings. They cannot do this until they are over the age of 300.
— Fae can lock, unlock and alter memories in humans and changelings, but not vampires. They cannot do this easily until they are over the age of 100.
— Fae can commune with animals and can speak any language at all—they speak through all-speak, which a listener will always hear in their native language.
— Some fae, not all, are empaths: able to read emotion when touching a creature's skin. This is a somewhat rare trait. It doesn't mean they'll actually sympathize with the emotion, or be moved to feel it themselves, but they will know it's there.
— Some fae have particular race-based perks, subject to admin approval.

Weaknesses

— Iron is a weakness all fae share. With the help of anti-iron enchantments, often found in jewelry like a necklace or a ring, a fae can stop their flesh from burning off, but even with that, if iron is kept to their skin for long periods of time—such as when wearing iron shackles—their flesh will start to hurt and blister.
— They do not possess superior speed, strength or stamina. Those aspects of their bodies are just the same as a human, though a generally extremely fit one, since fae are created of magic and the glamour tends to keep the body in peak condition even if they're lazy or slovenly.

Fae's Race

Fae's nature can be any folkloric or author-made creature you desire. These will be considered their fae race. If you want a kirin, kitsune, djinni, wendigo fae—the choice is yours. Some exceptionally powerful fae might become ancient Gods, like Anubis or Shiva. Don't feel limited to Irish fae!

CHANGELINGS


Fae capture humans and turn them into changelings, a race of creature with a human and non-human form. The non-human form fits the fae's fancy, and the type of slave work they'd like to be done. All humans captured by fae become changelings—in doing so, they lose their humanity, their memories of home or family (though not completely, and a fae can give those memories back, especially if they're over 100), their fully human form. Changelings are kept as slaves by fae, tasked with domestic work, building and crafting, sexual servitude, chasing down runaway slaves, and fighting in the gladiatorial rings. Some adapt to being a slave; many do not. But the whisper is always in the air of the free changeling kingdoms in the mortal realm.

Free Changelings

Over the millennia, hundreds of thousands of changelings have escaped and banded together to create kingdoms like the Kingdom of the Sun, mixed heavily with humans. They've also had children with each other, and changelings in these kingdoms are not ones the fae take on lightly. In these kingdoms, a captured or enslaved fae is the greatest prize possible, and an active trade in fae slaves is kept up.

Fae Paranoia

The official policy for most every changeling settlement is one virulently anti-fae, as can be imagined from their enslavement or ancestor's enslavement by fae. A fae captured by changelings will meet untold animosity, prejudice, and will almost certainly be routinely demanded to be given over to authorities for painful, humiliating tests of weaponry and anti-fae measures, in an ever-burgeoning trade in fighting, countering, and, increasingly, capturing fae.

Powers

— Glamour changes every changeling in specific, idiosyncratic ways. All changelings have their own types of powers. Changelings born to two changelings will also have powers that might or might not be anything like their parents. Because of this, most of the powers on this list are OPTIONAL and MALLEABLE to each individual character.
— All changelings are immortal and may have been beyond the veil for centuries past their human lives.
— All changelings can heal themselves, but not others unless they were specifically given that power by glamour.
— All changelings have far superior strength, senses (hearing, smell, taste, touch), speed and stamina, unlike fae, who are about as strong and have about as much stamina as a human.
— Many changelings have another form, such as a hellhound, a great shaggy creature with teeth the size of your fingers.
— Many changelings also have powers related to how they were expected to work: a goldsmith might be able to craft metals with their mind, a domestic slave might be able to make objects float or move and banish dust from a room. A slave catcher or guard might have some other form that is frightening and toothy, capable of ripping and tearing. A sex slave might always be ready for sex, always lubed, for example. Powers are idiosyncratic. Feel free to be creative!

VAMPIRES


Vampires are a plague. They sweep the worlds in secret, creating more and more of their kind from humans, the easiest prey. Vampires tend to be underground in most places, but they've been coming out of hiding lately: the changelings are regularly supplying their absolute favorite food, after all, and they've begun to ally with the strange creatures at the expense of the fae.

Vampires & Fae Blood

To a vampire, the blood of a fae is like exquisite wine: delicious, arousing, and it'll make them drunk as a skunk. When drinking fae blood, vampires get extremely sensual and aroused, feeling a massive burgeoning of their power and a huge lift in their mood—rather like they've taken ecstasy. This high can be highly addictive for vampires, causing symptoms of cravings and withdrawal, just like a human with heroin. They cannot, however, overdose on fae blood.

Age & Maturity

Vampires mark their time on Earth in centuries, not in years. A vampire under 100 is still a fledgling and may be entirely beholden to their sire. From the age of their vampiric creation until 100, a vampire is persuadable and seducable by their sire—a good thing if the sire is respectful and kind, a very bad thing if they aren't. From 100 to 500 is considered youth for a vampire, a time when they no longer feel their sire's call. 1000+, a vampire is an elder, and nothing to be trifled with. Like fae, they get stronger as they age.

Powers

— Flitting, moving at high speeds through the world, too fast to be seen.
— Superior strength.
— Influence. They can influence a human or a fae, if they're old enough, to follow their lead.
— Healing and regeneration of themselves, not others. Very hard species to kill, because of that. Needs a stake to the heart or beheading.
— Seduction through blood. They have the ability to, when drinking a being's blood, unlock their mind for a brief period, creating a kind of high that is both arousing and intense. Some of their victims become addicted to this high.

Weaknesses

— Sunlight, though this can be countered with a daylight ring, an enchanted ring that will allow a vampire to walk in the daylight. Spending many hours in the direct sun, however, will still start to hurt them, though it can't kill them.
— Silver, which also has enchantments that can be worn to allow its touch, though just as with fae and iron, longer than an hour or two and it'll start to blister and peel the skin.
— Stake through the heart and beheading—both will kill them instantly.
— Reliance on blood. A vampire must feed. They must. Or else they will starve. Animal blood can only sustain them for a period.

Turning Vampire

— Only humans can turn vampire.
— A human must be drained nearly dry and then drink the vampire's blood.
— Any human who does this is bound to their sire for their first 100 years. They will feel emotions from their sire, can speak to their sire telepathically, but their sire can also influence them, thus controlling them. It is a private, personal, difficult relationship.

HALF-BREEDS


Of course, all the races have the possibility to create children together, and these children are called half-breeds. They'll have a portion of their parents' power, though weaker than if they were full-blooded.

ALL HALF-BREEDS WITH ONE GREAT-GRANDPARENT OR MORE WHO'S FAE WILL HAVE A FAE NAME.

STATUS AMONG CHANGELINGS

A half-breed with no fae blood is openly welcomed in the Kingdom of the Sun. If they have fae blood, they might be met with prejudice and suspicion, especially if their fae parent is still in their lives.

STATUS AMONG FAE

All half-breeds are an abomination, and must legally be enslaved by the fae courts. They will be put to work with the changelings, who like them not at all. They may be allowed to be personal slaves of one of their fae relatives, if the relative requests that. The only way to free a half-breed is beyond the veil: to take them out of the lands of the fae.

STATUS AMONG VAMPIRES

Largely ignored, unless they have fae blood: if they do, well, watered down wine is still wine. Can make vampires a little tipsy, though not rip-roaringly drunk like a full-fae's blood. This effect lessens depending on how little blood they have.

STATUS AMONG HUMANS

Sometimes viewed with suspicion, mostly unmolested but untrusted.

HUMANS


Good old humanity. Humans are the only creatures that can be turned into Changelings and Vampire. They're a messy, weak race, and probably would have been wiped out if they didn't breed like rats. Of all the races, humans are the most vulnerable, and have watched their castles be taken over by Changelings and their numbers fall through dwindles and booms. But all isn't lost for a human, and especially among the Changeling kingdoms their lives and comfort are highly prized—though recent pacts with vampires has sought to change that.

GENERAL ABOUT


The Realm of Mortals and the Realm of Fey exists in tandem. Believed to be entwined, those of the fey realm, like fae and changelings, can travel the veil that separates the two with ease. Humans and vampires do not posses such innate proficiency. Consequently, mankind lacks reliable ways of entering the fey world. Most humans enter the realm of fey by accidents associated with finicky byways or abduction by fae. The world of men is fairly humdrum and mundane, with kings and lords presiding over a peasant / serf population. The world of fae, on the other hand, is filled with visible projections of ancient primordial energies. Certain landmarks and locations between the worlds are shared, though those within the Realm of Mortals may not be able to see the glory possessed by the fey counterpart.

Kingdom Of The Sun

For the sake of simplicity the story is taking place in a region of the Realm of Man known as the Kingdom of the Sun. The Kingdom has been a prominent presence for hundreds of years, albeit it in different forms and beneath various banners since its initial conception. The Kingdom of the Sun is modeled off of western Europe in many respects, but possesses elements from various cultures from around the globe.

Beyond the Veil

The Fey Realm, unlike the Realm of Man, is always in transition. The fey realm changes and shifts organically as Glamour moves and flows uninhibitedly. Where the Veil is thin the two realms intermingle and humans have been known to 'fall through' and fantastic beasts (which normally live in the Realm of Fey) slip into the mortal realm. Locations in the fey realm can move with or without warning and only powerful concentrations of magic keep certain locations fixed. Within the Fey Realm, humans age more slowly and changelings and fae do not age at all.

SEELIE COURT FAE


Typically viewed as the "good" court; however not every Fae in the Seelie Court is benevolent. They are defined by their virtues and believe that Beauty is life. But remember sometimes the most beautiful things can be rotten to the core. Holding principles of Honor and Love close to their breast, Seelies often act as judges and arbiters during faery disputes.

Death Before Dishonor

Chivalry is not dead. Honor is the most important virtue — it is the source of all glory. Personal honor must not be stained. Sometimes nothing but one's own death can cleanse the mark of dishonor.

Love Conquers All

Love is the soul of Faerie. True love transcends all and is the perfect expression of what it is to be Seelie. Courtly, romantic love is considered the highest form of love, but familial love is pure as well. Anything is permitted in the name of True Love: including rape. You have been warned.

Beauty Is Life

Beauty is a timeless quality that cannot be described, but is recognized whenever it appears. Beauty is the muse of creation, the ultimate flowering of the Dreaming. Once found, it must be protected. True beauty is eternal. Ugliness, however, is another story.

Never Forget A Debt

One gift deserves another. If you receive a gift, then you should give one. If you are subjected to a curse, then you should intone one. One oath of friendship deserves another. Never forget a kindness ... or a slight.

UNSEELIE COURT FAE


Often seen as wicked, vicious and prone to violent or malevolent acts, the foolish would describe the Unseelie as the crueler or darker High Court. In reality this is not the case, but this misconception lives on as a horrible misnomer that most Unseelies are rather indignant of. Unseelie fey are known first and foremost for their capricious natures, but Unseelies (and the Unseelie Court) can be best described with the following tenants / philosophies in mind:

Change Is Good

Security is a falsehood: it does not exist. Embrace change or you will be lost in its wake. Chaos is the ruling force of the Universe. Adapt or die.

Glamour Is Free

Glamour is worthless unless used. Hoarding it does no good, so fill the air with its power. There will always be more dreamers and more Glamour: dreams or nightmares are no difference. If you are clever enough, you will always have your fill... of both glamour and power.

Honor Is A Lie

Honor is a fairy tale, and a poor one at that. It has no place in this cold, bitter world. Honor is a lost thing from a lost past. Only through enlightened self-interest can any truth be reached.

Passion Before Duty

Passion is the truest state. Follow your instincts. Live life to the fullest. Have as much fun as possible before your youth is gone. Live well now—tomorrow you may die.

THE KINGDOM OF THE SUN CHANGELINGS, VAMPIRES & HUMANS


The main Kingdom of concern in the mortal realm (to their minds, at least), the court of the Sun King rarely lives up to its grandiose name. Though this Kingdom has existed in various forms for hundreds of years, the ruling family was recently overturned by a changeling family, not unusual in its long history. Time will tell whether this will be a long-lived dynasty, or whether this reign will end in another violent upheaval.

The Lesser Noble Houses [Unlimited]

The lesser noble houses are home to duchies, viscounties, baronies, all lumped together under one umbrella term lesser, that sits ill with many of these houses' members.

Peasants/Merchants

A thriving middle class of bourgeoisie is beginning to climb out of the muck and assert itself, even marrying into noble houses or buying bogus lands and titles from the Royal court in order to join the noble ranks.

Peasants/Serfs

Much of this society relies on serfdom. 99% of the everyday humans one will meet are some form of peasant. They must show proper respect to nobles, despite frequent and bloodily suppressed peasant revolts.

Slaves (All Races)

Slavery exists in the Kingdom of the Sun, though with less prevalence than in large empires. Whether this is simple debt peonage or the active and prosperous slave trade, where chattel slaves are bought and sold, slavery has many forms.

HANGMEN ALL


Hangmen are either fae banished from the Seelie and Unseelie Courts for unwanted behaviors or lawbreaking, or beings in contracts with the fae. Both solitary fae and beings who have entered covenants with fae are called the hangedmen. Given the precarious situation both have with fae kind, the term has stuck as a poetic example of the dangerous nature of even the "goodly" faeries.

Hangmen: Covenants

Fae can create covenants with beings in which a fae gives something in return for something the being possesses. Often, beings will be unaware of what the fae demands in return until the favor is called in. Magical artifacts, magical instruction, enchantments, and other similar things are usually what fae will give in exchange for a covenant. Covenants cannot be undone or broken, only fulfilled. Until the parameters of the covenant are fulfilled, the covenant exists.

Hangmen: Solitary Fae

To become solitary a fae must be tried and found guilty in 'a court of faerie law.' Upon which, the most heinous of criminals will be sentenced to exile. Exile among the fae is a punishment worse than death; not only is the exiled stripped of their name, title, and possessions, but they are shunned among their kind and banished to the human world.

Solitaries may only return to the fae realm if they are pardoned by the rulers of the High Courts.

SLAVES OF THE STATE ALL


The Changelings freely coopted this idea from the fae when they built their settlements. A slave of the state is a slave without a master, at least one yet. These slaves are not relegated to a cell forever, though there is a barracks they can be held in with other slaves of the state. Instead, they're regularly put to work, leased out to private lenders or put on government works projects. Being a slave of the state means you can be anywhere in your area of the game, as long as you describe some government project (weeding a public garden, lamplighting or sweeping the streets) or some NPC master or mistress holding you for a day to a week. I hope that this set-up will give you complete freedom of movement, so you can join any scene you'd like, with only a little creativity!

RULES

1 | RP ETIQUETTE

Please don't god mod, power play, or introduce something into a thread without discussing with the other writer if it's okay. Your character may be in charge of theirs in the group, but you, the writer, have no control over that other writer. Communicate with them, it's the only way to make things fun for everyone.

3 | ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

Activity checks will be done on a monthly basis. You will have a week to save your characters from elimination. In order to save the characters, you will have to have made an IC post with the character you'd like to save in the last month. OOC posts do not count as an IC post.

4 | LIQUID TIME

We use liquid time! You can put your character in as many scenes as you want, man, go for it. If one person is holding up a scene, jump in another and claim it happened an hour/day/week later. Liquid time is magic!

If you are male - you will be used for comforts and cuddles. Serenity will never force sex on anyone, even when she is in Rut. She values consent above all else, as do all of my characters.

If you are female - You will be her shopping buddy, and a friend she spends time with.

Any slaves owned by Serenity should know that she will protect you - even from her own family. If you are her's you are her's, and if you make plots that involve your character getting raped/Hurt, Serenity will go after whoever hurts your character - even if it's her own father. Other characters need Serenity's permission to have sexual relations with your character, whether or not you are male or female - because Serenity wants to make sure that the sexual relations are actually desired.

I am open to a character capable of switching sexes, as her slave, but understand that the female side will receive zero sexual interaction. Serenity has no interest in other females and is Gyno-repulsed. She is alright with AMAB Female presenting - but only if they aren't super feminine and girly in appearance.

Serenity is a switch with more sub tendencies, she will not dominate - she'll play and roll around and play games of challenge - but she will not dominate your character.

Your character can also not be younger than Serenity, as that's something I have no interest in. If you are a vampire you must be passed your connection to your Master, if you are a Fae you must be passed your first Ascension, and if you are a changeling or human you must be older than her (25).

Extra Race-based Powers:

• Master of the Skies: He can take the form of a Gryphon at will (a legendary creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion; the head and wings of an eagle; and an eagle's talons as his front feet). This grants him flight, courage and immense strength, but only when shifted in this form.
  
• Predatory Senses: As a result of his avian-like nature, he has sharper hearing and eyesight.
  
• Dual-Nature: Due to being part lion and part eagle, he can also shift into either of the two animal forms at will.

‘The Gryphon’ is essentially Circe’s ‘left-hand’, whereas Volke is her ‘right-hand’. Together, they are equally her favourite and most prized pets, albeit for very different reasons. Regardless, this also means that they have both been given more freedom and authority within her household. However, they are also polar opposites. If Volke is the Mailed Fist then 'the Gryphon’ is the Velvet Glove.

‘The Gryphon’ was one of the first Changelings created by Circe, which means that he should be no older than 360 years, and no younger than 300 years. Overall, he can be summarised as proud, decadent and pompous. Circe therefore very specifically and very meticulously created his changeling form to be extravagant and noble, both to serve a purpose, and so she that she could equally take great pride in her creation. Unfortunately, it also gave him quite the large ego but for the most part, she doesn't mind that. It benefits the nature of his 'work' and she generally likes that he's so haughty and pompous. 

As her 'Ambassador', he's an extension of her 'eyes and ears' within the Unseelie Court (predominantly). Essentially, he's a spy and information gatherer, feeding information to Circe who in turn, filters down that information to the Seelie Lord, Kronos. He handles her public relations, which means he often attends various social affairs, either in her place, or accompanying her. Yet on the flip side, he is also a dangerous assassin, whisperer of secrets, and extortionist. Don't let good looks fool you - this charming creature has sharp talons, and he's not afraid to use them. 

How he came to know Circe and win her approval, is up for discussion! I'm leaning towards him out-witting her with his sharp intellect, which impressed her greatly, but in either case, he should definitely be silver-tongued and an ambitious social-climber. It should be noted that whilst the left and right hand are loved equally by Circe, they share a very competitive 'bromance', so cue sharp tongues and witty remarks being shot back and forth ^.^

He spent years using his pathfinding to track down the robbers. Consumed by the desire to bring them to justice, he finally surprised them. He tied them up. He meant to kill them.

Instead, he sat down and talked to them. He told them what it was like, losing his parents and family so suddenly.

He talked, and then he let them go.

One of the robbers was moved by his story. He turned his partners in, and after serving his time in jail, he found Jamaal again.

THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN.

This character is his friend, someone who took everything from Jamaal and dearly would like to give it all back again. Not someone who's a stranger to living on the wrong side of the law, but he has a heart.

I'm open to either starting our story from the moment he tracks Jay down, newly out of jail. I'm also open to starting it wherein they've known each other for a while. Whichever appeals to the taker, though the first appeals to me most.

I NEED CROW'S LITTLE SISTER, HANA! Hana was raised by Crow until she was eleven. Crow was loving and caring, did his best to nurture her, always wanted the best for her. He's a slave, now, and she's long since left the orphanage (whether she was adopted or just aged out, up to you!). How she feels about her big brother and her niece Mari is totally up to you, but Crow loves and cherishes her as much as a father would his child.



Crow was born with the true name Beast in Ashton, the capital of Crooked Ash, to a fae mother and the man her parents forced her to breed with to produce a new heir to an ancient fae line. His mother Emi, a low-level courtesan in a dockside brothel, spent her livelihood servicing the armies that plowed through and the fishermen, when the soldiers weren’t available. Yoshitsune Masayoshi, his father, knew Crow existed, as did his grandparents, but Emi made him and herself a slave from his birth to escape and defy them, and Crow never knew his grandparents. A fae cannot be a slave—so he could not be their grandson.

His mother was a harridan. Crow grew up in abject squalor. His home was a rundown hut with paper patching the roof that let every rain through and cracked tatami that grew mold, near the fish mongers, so everything reeked of high tide. It was almost a parody of shelter, particularly in the winters when wood and coal prices soared, and food was scarce. He was offspring to a woman who spent more time imbibing drinks and drugs than tending her son. She neglected him as much as he abused him. As a child, he learned to go hungry. He became familiar with cold so deep it was a miracle he didn’t lose limbs to frostbite. He learned pain was a part of life. He learned the wrong lessons, and he learned them far too soon. He was a vicious bully as a child, taking his rage out on other children of the brothel. That all changed when he was eight, in two parts. The first was the birth of his mother’s second child. His sister, born in his eighth year, never had to learn what Crow could spare her from. Crow was crafty and industrious, good with his hands. After his mother weaned his sister (too early, far too early) Crow threw himself into her care. He loved that little girl. Part brother, part father, they fought often, but Hana trusted Crow never to hurt her—the only one she so trusted.

Crow soothed every tantrum, rocked her to sleep night after night. Crow fought for her, faced down grown men for her, has killed for her.

It wasn't enough, of course—the efforts of one little boy—but he tried.

But that wasn’t the only trial of Crow’s eighth year. That was the year he scarred the grandson of the owner of his mother's cathouse. That was a bad mistake. The pimp beat Crow within an inch of his life, and started selling him as a pain whore for years to come. Crow found his status humiliating, but his diet improved. He was able to bring back food for his sister.

Crow's father finally came, walking into Crow's room. Crow was terrified he would be hurt. Instead, the stranger asked, "Boy, who is your mother?"

The truth ascertained, Yoshitsune took Crow away to live what Crow calls a “proud, nomadic life.” When Crow begged him to, he reluctantly brought his sister along with him.

He idolized his father. They travelled the world aimlessly looking for amusement. Crow's father had no goals in life and led a rather dissolute lifestyle, which was part of why Crow turned out so diligent: he had to be the one to make sure all three were fed and safe. Yoshitsune groomed his young son partially out of his own narcissism, and partially because of the vague sense that Crow would one day be useful to him. Crow never knew that: loved his father in a burning, consuming, obsessive way that never eased, cherishing the gifts his father bestowed on him and soaking up all his father’s worst ideas like a sponge.

Yoshitsune groomed Crow, believing one day the young fae would be useful to him. It was not to be. Yoshitsune's crimes caught up with him. Ambushed by hunters in the Far South, Crow was able to escape, now a youngster on the cusp of manhood. His father was not so lucky.

He watched in his hiding place, hugging his sister, as they killed his father. Overcome by grief and rage, he tried to keep his sister safe. Nothing was more important than that. He took her to the heart of the Kingdom of the Sun, but it wasn't long until the teenager's fae nature was sniffed out by changelings.

He was enslaved once more, his sister taken from him to an orphanage, and he was raised a Slave of the State ever after. Currently, he's 99, approaching the time of his first ascension—but he doesn't know it. He knows almost nothing about fae or fae culture, kept ignorant and contained by his masters. He also isn't sure of his age, since his mother never told him. He's leased to a brothel, currently. Who knows for how long. He had a daughter, with one of his mistresses, but she willingly gave the child up to him to raise, not wanting a fae bastard in her house. Mari is a teenager now, free, since her mother was free, and Crow has been allowed to care for her as well as he can as a slave, even stay in Hana's life.

It's not a glamorous life he lives, but it's his own.

Simply put, I'm looking to expand on Othrys's species pool. My character, Kronos, is the same Kronos who fought Zeus and the others 4000 years ago during the Titanomachy. He retreated to the Faedark and created a new city modelled after his old home at Mount Othrys, where he strove to make a city where Fae, Changelings and Half Breeds could live safely absent the Courts. To this end, I'd like it if people might consider creating Fae or Changelings or Half Breeds along the lines of Greek Mythological Creatures like Satyr, Mermaids, Dryads and the like who could either be among the number that fled with Kronos to the Faedark, or could be descended from those creatures. Obviously, the characters would be allowed to enter and exit Othrys at will, I wouldn't dream of limiting the freedom of movement! My character, Kronos, is the Ancient Greek Titan of Time. This Wanted Ad is to suggest a connection with an Olympean or Titan; that is, a family member that wasn't killed during the Titanomachy, or during Kronos's revenge. Kronos attempted infanticide against his children in an attempt to forestall their tyranny over Mortals. When he failed, they rebelled and he retreated to the Faedark. When they were eventually driven from the Mortal Realm back across the Veil, he took them into his house and offered them the chance to serve him, or die. The second advert for characters is actually three adverts; Kronos is the long-game kind of person. He's the kind of person who sets up dominoes to fall just-so, then triggers the initial event and watches things unfold. He's a cunning mastermind, who only gets involved personally when he has to; because of his age and power, he has to be careful about when and where he exerts his influence. As such, he usually works mostly through agents and emissaries to organise events and dealings favourable to him, and to keep him informed of the major goings on that people would assume that he doesn't know about. The Changeling Hangman would likely be his agent in the Fae Courts, possibly as an undercover State Slave, or perhaps as his "Herald" who is sent to events in his stead and acts more as a spy on the other Fae. The human Hangman would be his champion in the Kingdom Of The Sun, sent to manipulate and spy on the humans to push them in the direction he needs them pushed. The Vampire Hangman would be more of his "Bloody Left Hand." Mostly used as his bodyguard, but also sent out on dangerous missions such as forays into hostile territory, assassinations and conflicts with other Fae's Hangmen. Whereas the other two are spies, this Hangman would be more of his "Direct Combat Champion." Specific histories and powers would be negotiated, but immortality (in regards to aging) would be included. Smut and a sexual relationship would be on the table if desired, but all three would be required to be loyal to him and share his vision for the human and Fae worlds (which would be discussed at length should you be interested).

Simply put, I would love it if I could get maybe a character or two to play within Kronos's household as his "Pleasure Slaves." Now, Kronos doesn't agree with the Slave Trade. One of his goals is to abolish it completely, but he understands that that will take time and planning to achieve, especially with how long lived the Fae are. So, occasionally he will buy a Slave to "Own," but in actual fact give them a safe place to live in Orthys and free them in all but name; if he frees them, they may be taken as slaves again. If he treats them as free but retains the technical title, then he can still legally protect them. He has a lot of effectively free slaves serving him, but this Wanted Ad is specifically for one or more "Love Slaves" that willingly offer their bodies to him. This could be out of gratitude, it could be because they enjoy it, it could even be because they're in love with him. It really doesn't matter; the point is, I would like one or more character slaves that Kronos uses to sate his sexual desires in a BDSM, Dom / Sub relationship, preferably where they call him "Daddy." Someone killed Tisu's wife, and I want you to play him. He was jealous: jealous of Tisu for taking the woman he wanted, the woman he loved, away from him. She was his—and she should have stayed that way. The fact that she chose Tisu's warm hearth over his own palace drove him mad: and in his madness, he tried to take her from there. The escalation of that ended in her dead and him scarred from her husband's brutal rage, and then humiliated by a trial that ended in his banishment.

He still thinks about Tisu, and how unfair it is that Tisu got everything, in the end: even the right to visit her grave in the land of fey.

Donovan Cohen is a wolf. I mean that in more ways than one.

He was a slave to the fae, like everyone else. He was enslaved, like everyone else. He escaped them, like everyone else. But what he's built in the years since then—well, it's an empire, alright. He's adopted some into the Cohen family, married a few times and produced Cohen heirs, but his biggest passions are twofold: one, slaves, especially fae slaves (though human, vampire, half-breed, changeling, he's dabbled in it all). Two, torture. He finds pain erotic: always has. Learning new ways to harm another being keeps him occupied and entertained. He'll even headline as a slave breaker at times in order to make money off his hobby.

Really, though, Donovan is not a nice man, and he's gotten rich through very not-nice means. Maybe a day will come when he meets some particular slave and regrets it—he's open to the possibility. For now, though: sex and violence are his way of giving back to the world what was taken from him.

A being of fire, metallurgy, metalworking and ecstasy, Tisu subsists in a solitary, precarious life in an active volcano off in the feydark, an area with many earthquakes, where he forges fine weapons and armor.

Brash and hard, he is still something of a diplomat, often called to mediate the quarrels of other fae, trusted, fair, and soft-spoken. Once, his wife of old was a fae who embodied ecstasy. She was small enough he had to bend down to kiss her, and they were the love of each other's ageless lives. When she was dealt a fatal blow before him by an enemy, he was forced to watch her death: she gave him, in her last moments, a blessing that contracted some of her ecstatic powers to Tisu.

For a fae made in part of ecstatic urges, he lives a celibate life: he likes neither drinking alcohol (he prefers teas and the juice of succulent fruits), nor coitus, and often fears the consequences of emotional attachment. Known to the other fae as quiet and polite, but too gruff to be quite mild-mannered, he rarely shows excessive emotion, taking a stern but fatherly attitude with those around him when he visits the higher court at Grian Caisteal.

Gareth was born to a family of fae dragons in the spring 459 years ago in the feydark Kingdom of Morgannwyg, since swallowed by the sands of time. Gareth was the third born son until he was five, when his elder brothers died and his family suddenly took an increased interest in his life and livelihood. His family had a kinship to the draconian fae of Vildafiri, and Gareth was apprenticed to a wyvern knight just in time for a conflict with an allied changeling and vampiric force that should have been called a war to start. For glory, the Knight dragged his young apprentice to fight, and fight Gareth did. He fought, he bled, he suffered, and he became hardened to the slaughter around him.

The resulting slog and deprivation, bankrupt of wealth or glory, would stick in the young fae's mind for years to come. When he was older, thirty-three, and more world-weary, he went back to walk the lands he had decimated. That was when a powerful elder vampire named Yusuf, kin to those he fought, captured him. He was tortured, seduced through his blood, then tortured again. Finally, the dragon dragged him along as his servant—or more accurately, slave—for many years after, an object of scorn, a punching bag for the people his people had harmed. That was how he learned to hate.

Years passed, and Gareth killed Yusuf, returning to the fae realms a changed man. He stayed in contact with almost no one, traveling, making a name for himself on the human sea. He fought and sailed from one continent to the next on An Cagair Loch, from Azrah to Valeska to Vildafiri, and farther, stranger, wilder places. He eked out a living as a soldier of fortune, a mercenary, and a sailor. He became monstrously rich, and was able to maintain and continue his wealth to the present day.

His return to the mortal realm as a hunter for those to make changelings of embittered and disturbed him. Sometime about a hundred years ago, though, he just stopped trying. The only thing that he updates with any degree of coherence or consistency is his vices: he embraced the opium trade, and has sampled many different kinds of mind-altering substances.

Whoever Demetria was before she became ensnared by the Fae realm has long since been forgotten. She was a daughter and a sister once, with a promising life ahead of her, before her first Master decided to play a cruel trick on her as fae are wont to do. Demetria lost herself in Fo Gheasaibh Coille. There she was found by a hedonistic Unseelie who sought any and all pleasures in life.

One of those pleasures was drinking. They could have made Deme into a goblet, or a servant to make their wine, perhaps a grapevine, but instead they turned her into a champagne cooler. And that she remained for generations of human time. Until she lost a grip on who she was, and what she had been, aware of only the cold. The all possessing chill that had become her body. She knew no warmth, no satisfaction, no joy.

Returned as she has been now to a humanoid form, by a twist in fate; her ownership has been transferred to another being, Deme is beginning to feel again. She seeks the ever unobtainable flame of warmth, wanting most what she was so long been denied. Yet to be too warm, to enjoy a fire, causes her agony. Thus she is locked in a game of cat and mouse between the object of her obsession, the quest to feel warm again, and the knowledge that whenever she finally obtains it: she will have to let it go again.

Elle is over four hundred years old and in her early days did specialize in life magic that she learned from her mother and father, both being masters of the art. She belonged to a Noble house and lived in Grian Caisteal in a glorious mansion and was afforded all benefits of being wealthy as well as in the upper class of the fae.

All that changed when she was called upon to make a fae stallion more interested in coupling with mares. The spell went horribly wrong and the prized stallion evaporated to ash, but the same moment Elle experienced a sudden growth in her loins and looked down to see that she was now the steward of a penis, scrotum and balls of a very male horse ! Although it did have skin of her body - for that she was thankful.

It was completely contrasting to her feminine form and those witnessing the changed laughed and teased her without end - and still do. Her ritual was a disaster and her new body comical. Elder – Well let’s try more for Ancient, this female came to the Mortal Realm close to 1,500 years ago. She abandoned the Fae courts and their petulant childlike natures. She was an Elder at the time of leaving and was a ‘Queen to Be’ for the Kingdom she originally came from. Long gone now, that Kingdom is, but a Legend the ‘White Raven’ is known to be attributed to the ‘Kingdom Lost in Mist’.

Shapeshifting – Morrigu can shapeshift into the form of a Large Raven, both completely and partially. The raven is large enough it can be used as transportation for someone of a smaller size.

Skilled Warrior – Known as a Warrior long before she left the Fae realms, she became even stronger due to the need to survive. She enhances her physical form with her substantial stock of Glamour.

Magical Weapons – This Fae female can call weapons to her using her Glamour. Usually she prefers a sword, but she’s not against shifting it’s shape mid fight and getting a dirty play in.

Spiritual Calling – Morrigu can with the spirits of the departed, giving them the chance to say their peace, or making deals to bring the dead back to life – at a high cost.

Morrigu stands at roughly 5’7’’. She has a strong rather commanding presence, despite her preference towards remaining quiet most of the time. She lets her actions speak just as loud as her words and spends a lot of her time coaching and teaching her daughter in the magics that she was born with. While not as strong as a pureblood her little bird is stronger than she appears. Her ability to adapt is a strong trait.

History ~
Morrigu, as she is known now, started her life many many years ago to a place lost even in the Fae Lands. She was raised the noble daughter, second oldest, with an Older brother who would be King – as he was more suitable to the position. She preferred the combat arts anyways and spent many years traveling the Fae realms and growing in power through the combat she learned. She even began traveling the human realms after she was roughly 300 years old and found out fast that she rather loved these creatures. She felt an empathy towards them that she did not feel for others.

As she grew older, she noticed a difference for how she treated the creatures around her and how other fae treated creatures around her. It was a baffling and confusing thing for the rather strong-minded Fae woman. She did not like the natures of slaves, or how Changelings were made and treated, she neither liked the way that Half-breeds were treated either. She felt a strength whenever she was around humans who had a like minded aspect to her, even pretending to be a man on many occasions in order to get closer and learn their ways.

Morrigu fast discovered that the way the Fae were acting was terrible, and she also learned fast that the way that they were treating others was abhorrent. She found more power, more support, more love, in the way she treated those in her care, and she grew stronger and more powerful from the connection she made with those who were with her willingly. No coercion, no deals to bolster, the true willingness to be beside her – to fight beside her – was a drug that she found more potent than forcing others to do her biding.

She took her first Human husband, when she was 350 years old, he was a man she had traveled with and revealed her truth to. At first, he was hesitant, even scared, but then he remembered the many years she’d traveled with him, defended him, and never not a single time asked to form any sort of deal. She was unlike any Fae he had ever known, and he loved her as much as she loved him. A deep burning passion that brought ire and distaste from the Fae who knew her, but she preferred the lands of Men over the lands of the Fae – anyways.

Then that all changed shortly after her first children were born, first a girl and then a boy, twins, a powerful thing. She did not care that they were Half-breeds. They were her children, and she loved them. She refused to make them slaves just so they could live among the Fae, and her parents gave her an ultimatum – she kill her children and return to her home – or they would kill her children and drag her back kicking and screaming. The latter happened, and the hatred and anger towards her own people only grew.

Every hundred years or so she’d take another human lover, but she did not allow herself to carry a child to term after that moment – not while their fates would end up like her first pair. She let her anger, her bitter resentment towards her parents grow, and it was when she took her next human husband – shortly before she turned 700. Her brother stepped in and as he was King now of their land – Their parents having stepped down – he told her that she was to stop dallying with the human men and to marry a King of the Unseelie Court – to make this happen he killed the husband she had taken, and left her no other choice.

She spent the next several hundred years avoiding that King, and building up a resentment and anger towards all of them. Then her brother died, killed in a rather suspect way, but as Morrigu was not even present in the Kingdom during his death, she was dragged back from the human world kicking and screaming to be their Queen. She had a new love, and she didn’t give a damn what the Fae wanted from her.

Except now she would be Queen, and she had a human husband, and no one could have that. The Unseelie she was intended to wed gave her a choice – she could keep her human husband as a slave, but he had to be bound as a slave would have been bound, otherwise her husband would be killed. Having already lost many a human lover, Morrigu was done with what they were doing, and as she was preparing to build an offense – her human lover was once more killed by the King who wanted her as his Queen.
She had enough at that point, and she was done with the Fae and their ways.

She called a gathering of the Fae Royals, and in a rather legendary display of power she made her statement clear.

“You who Lord and deign to stand above all others, know not the true powers that come from a willing connection. You scrape and drag your consorts to your flesh like some beggar scraping the bottom of the gutters that surround these ‘glorious’ cities. I have seen the truths of the worlds, and I judge you as creatures who will never know true power.”

“And to you, ANY of you that would lay upon me that cursed fate to be bound by that Twisted King – May your womb and seed always lay barren, and may you never know real joy as long as you live. For you have all stripped me of my joy, and seek to strip me of my life, I will strip you of your lines and lineage. I place upon all present a curse, lay a hand against an innocent with intentions of malicious means or intent to harm - whether by direct or indirect means – and my curse will fall upon you with a swift vengeance. Until you open your eyes and see the truth, you will know no peace. So now, I bid you all ado, and you can go fuck yourselves”

When those words had been spoken and the glamour of her curse was laid, her own blood the catalyst to make it stronger, and her form shifting to that massive raven as she left the Realm of the Fae, of her own will, and her own way. Her massive ‘fuck you’ to the others who were present.

She went to the lands of the Mortals and went Far to the South. There in this place, she found a measure of peace in their forests. She found a village of humans that had not had too many interactions with the Fae, and slowly built a life with them. She protected them, they provided her with food. In time, she even started to pick her lovers from their families. She helped them with their harvests, and she used her magic to give them food when the winters were difficult. She healed their sick and was their protector. In time, they called her their ‘Phantom Queen’ and eventually ‘Raven Queen’.
She has been there, for a millennium and a half. Over the years she has taken several human lovers from the people of the village, since then she has had four children before her little Einin, Einin being her Seventh born child. Every child before, all of her sweetlings and little ones, were killed by Fae Hunters – Slavers – and a variety of others. Einin is her Seventh born and the daughter that came from her most recent mortal lover. She even made a pact with her most recent one that kept him by her side for a good long while, most of Einin’s life – and he was also Arawn’s father, her son previous to Einin who died defending Einin.

Einin is her precious little bird, and she is to be defended at all costs. After losing Arawn, and Dirk, Morrigu has had enough… She is now slowly building a rebellion. All across the lands of mortals, she has let the whispers spread, using whatever means she could. The whispers and tales that are able to be followed for those brave, or foolish enough.

She is still working on her powers, but she is fast approaching her 300th year which means she will be having her next Ascension.

She is skilled in combat, and can summon weapons much like her mother, and has a rather strong tie to shapeshifting but it still mastering it.

Has a high propensity to manipulate plant life – and has bound herself to a Willow Tree in her mother’s lands. She can unbind if she wishes to travel out, but she only does this if her and her mother are going to be traveling to do ‘freedom runs’ – which is where they snatch up slaves from slave traders and help them find their families again. As well as offer them the chance to join the Forest of Mists if that is what they so desire.

She also has a strange affinity with song based magics and is often found humming to the plants she is manipulating.

She has some affinity for spirits of the departed, but it seems that the powers that be intended her as a full ‘foil’ for her mother – she is the Life to her Mothers ‘Death’.

As a player I am not against some exploration, I’m a little more open in Group Rps, but I will not do an fxf or FutaxF pairing as my final pairing for this character.

Einin stands at roughly 5’1’’, holding a very sleek and lean frame, but also being capable of hiding quite easily. Her mother has made it clear she could change her height if she wanted, but Einin doesn’t like shapeshifting her body unless it is absolutely needed (Like to protect and hide)

History~

When Einin was born her mother had been with Dirk for many years, a few hundred actually, and she had an older brother named Arawn. Einin was raised in the protective embrace of her family and knew the joys of growing up in the wild. Half-breed, she may be, like her brother, but they were a happy family. Arawn was fast approaching his 300th year, even when Einin was barely halfway to her first Ascension. He was a good brother, and always had a kind word for her.

He’s the one that gave her a love of singing, of using her voice to help others. He’s the one that first taught her how to use a sword, and her mother helped him further sharpen her skills. She loved her big brother, and she loved her father. They knew their lives were specifically tied to their lands, and it could be dangerous.

Things were always dangerous for their family. They took in any outcasts that wanted to tie themselves to her mother’s cause. If they did not make a vow to the lands and the paths that Morrigu had designed, they were sent away and their memory was altered so they did not remember they had even found that place. This worked very well, for quite a while. Even as Einin fast approached her first Ascension.

Her father was a constant light in her life, he introduced her to the descendants of his human family – and she spent a lot of time playing with younglings in the woods. She was highly protective of the young humans, and while she much rather sleeps beneath a willow and sings her songs… She’s just as ferocious as her mother was known to be in her own youth.

Then again, as her own Ascension fast approached – a dangerous time was approaching. Morrigu had gotten word of a slave trade ring that was spreading out and looking for people in the South. She would have none of that and left to handle it herself, her Son was left to defend his sister – and so was her husband. She was intending to free them herself, and then she would return to her family.

Except Einin’s Ascension happened while Morrigu was gone, and Dirk and Arawn died keeping her safe. Einin remembers that time vaguely, but she remembers the human villagers hiding her away in special caverns beneath the cliffs at the edge of their forest and whispering that they would not fail to save the Queen’s young child. She awakened to her mother there and found out that there had been many deaths with Morrigu gone. The outcasts they had gathered had been decimated by a Fae Slave Trader looking for humans and changelings…

Arawn had died defending his younger sister, and Einin carries that burden on her heart. She is lucky in the fact that she can watch her brother’s children grow up, and their children… Though they are more human than Fae it seems and nowhere near as Immortal as she is. They are still struck down by plague and disease. Einin does what she can, but she has hidden away in the Woods of Mist and refuses to leave unless she is directly going on missions with her mother to free slaves.

She has a hardness in her heart for Slave traders and Hunters. She will go from the sweet Willow Maid to a monstrous shrieking beast, and she will not stop until she has clawed out your eyes and ended your existence. She truly believes that those that would force others to serve them are nothing more than refuse, and they deserve to be ended.

If you cannot learn that willingness and love are stronger than force and cruelty – than you have no place in her life.
