Oblivion Hole

No one saw it coming, but in the cynical year 25XX it was sort of expected. Every hero falls, and when they fall they fall low. But, still, Oblivion Hole? It made headlines in nearly every news outlet. The group of heroes and heroines who had been stalwart defenders of justice, fighting megalomaniacs and corrupt officials under the sponsorship of SpaceX^TM were each one by one brought down. A few were caught corrupt themselves, taking money from syndicates and mafias. A few were stopped just in time before they themselves could carry out terror plot at least as nefarious as that of the villains they used to bring down. They were once the golden generation of heroes, but now they face judgement.

All are sentenced to life in Oblivion Hole, a remote disciplinary facility in an unknown location. Beyond the control of any government, it is a private black-site for all those who are to be removed from rest of the world forever. The heroes stare upon the eerie black towers in chains and restraints, awaiting their doom. They know full well what's in store if the petty abuse of their accompanying warden is any indication. Worse yet, awaiting them within those forsaken hallways and cells is basically every single villain they've ever brought down. Who knows what's worse - the humiliation of being bound and abused by the villains you helped save the Earth from, or having to co-operate with them to escape?

Setting and Theme

The setting is cyberpunk-ish scifi based on Earth. Space travel is not very advanced yet, but technology is. The world outside is controlled by non-Governmental factions that span the globe, each vying for power as the humanity prepares to launch towards the stars. Amidst all this countless heroes and villains have risen and fallen in dangerous plots and adventures against each others. Often their story ends in a facility not unlike Oblivion Hole. This is a prison escape romp featuring wrongfully accused or framed heroes and heroines being submitted to the black-site scifi prison - Oblivion Hole. Their already imprisoned rival villains and prison wardens are all eager to welcome them with sexual torment and bullying to pay back, or just to get their rocks off by humiliating more victims.

The game is intended to feature heroes and villains plotting against each other and forced to co-operate as they eventually manage to put up and execute some sort of escape plot. Along the journey they may torment each other and endure various torture and bondage by the prison wardens, who may also organize prison-wide events just for their own amusements. For example the wardens might release experimental technology of some corporation into the prison, open the cell doors, and announce gleefully that the prisoners are now to participate in an experiment as machines programmed for forceful lewds hunt them down.

Oblivion Hole itself has a curious way of working. The inmates are quite free to move about within the automated structures, and have some freedom to wear clothes they like and even own property (if they bribe the wardens). Most of the time they're expected to police themselves. Unruly inmates may be ganged up upon and tossed into one of the disciplinary centers which will prepare them for an appropriate punishment. Of course, if the wardens catch whiff of an escape they may often employ various automated security measures or dispatch a discipline team into the bowels of the compound to capture and bully individual inmates.

This would most definitely be NC. Various kinks could be incorporated. Many bondage themes from light to heavy (up to player preference), D/s and swapping between the heroes, villains, and wardens.

Characters

The characters may be genetically modified humans, cyborgs, or both. All characters are either heroes, villains, or wardens. With the first two groups especially it is expected that the characters themselves are individuals that stand out in personality. It also ensures they are strong enough not to collapse and give up in face of the 'horrors' they face within Oblivion Hole. The heroes and villains have some freedom to exercise dominance over each other (and pervy wardens), but are generally sometimes also in the receiving role. It is likely that all of the prisoner characters know each other from life outside, though you may improvise the relationships during game. Warden players will have some freedom to control prison facilities also and if villain players like they may have established themselves a gang etc.

For character art use anime/cartoon/other illustrations please. Nothing hyper-realistic.

Posting rate and other OOC notes

Most of the RP will be character-character interaction with some GM guided scenes for certain events and plot hooks. GM will give you some prompts for scenes with possible outcomes to aim towards, though you may diverge from them as you like and come up with your own scenes as the characters build towards an escape plot. I'll make sure the game progresses towards the escape. After that? Well, we'll see. Could always start a new game about exploring the setting outside.

Expected posting pace is at least once a week, though faster is alright too if everyone in the scene prefers a quicker pace.

More generic term rather than traditional superheroes. They may be skinsuit wearing nut jobs, but abilities and powers are not really the main focus of the game (as the prison would somehow seek to restrain their use anyhow). Perhaps the best reference point could be something akin to Overwatch heroes and villains, where the characters each have some skills, and abilities usually enhanced by body modification, training, and equipment.

Name: Reico A.K.A. Vanisher
Age: Unknown, believed to be at least 300 years old
Physical Description: Standing at not even five feet tall, big red hair and dazzling blue eyes, Reico has a body that looks soft but is actually prepared to fight and with amble curves to fool people into thinking she’s no threat that allows her to get closer.
Background: Reico has been alive for a while thanks in part to her knowledge of genetics. Reico went to a prestigious college and earned a doctorate in Biology specializing in DNA and Genetic manipulation. Even Reico doesn’t know how she went fully down the path of becoming an assassin and kidnapper. To her science and experimentation were always the most important things and should be fully embraced.
With test subjects thinning out Reico turned to kidnapping to keep her research going. So confident was she that she could unlock immortality that little else was on her mind. And naturally folks started to hear about a mad doctor who was always looking for test subjects. For the first hundred years or so Reico tried to preserve her original body after a hundred and fifty years she began to clone and experiment with her own clones to improve them. It was somewhere around there that she became obsessed with perfection as well as immortality. And so her research diverged yet again and she started to build bodies that were capable of extraordinary things.
Yet no matter how much she tinkered with her now completely alien DNA, the original body was long gone at this point and there were no viable samples left, she couldn’t achieve what she wanted with her meager budget. So she turned to assassination to build herself a larger lab, and of course kidnapping. Those that didn’t get the ransom she demanded became soup stalk for her DNA concoctions.
The authorities had known about a mysterious kidnapper for years as an urban legend and had given him the name of Vanisher. Yet no matter how much they tried they couldn’t pinpoint a location that Vanisher seemed to work from. It was with a bit of luck that one of the individuals that was “killed” happened to have a GPS locator installed in their skull so that others would know always where they were. They were able to follow this back to Vanisher’s lab and surprised the “good” doctor.
Reico didn’t go quietly; highly skilled in hand to hand combat and fire arms she made the encounter a hard one for the authorities. As she fought she didn’t notice the officers destroying her batch of clones, all save one, the new experiment “Red”. Finally succumbing to her wounds she was put into the chamber to transfer her consciousness into “Red” to stand trial. What Reico and the authority didn’t realize was that “Red” was the test subject that passed Reico’s insane desire for supremacy.
Groggy from the transfer Reico was much easier to deal with now in the half pint body that was left over. She was bagged and tagged and taken to jail. Reico sat in silence through her trial, only pleading not guilty. For her crimes, which once the authorities could get a handle of her computer system was enough to damn her for centuries. She was to be sent to a super max prison. But at this point Reico had acclimated to her new body and easily broke out of custody and went on the run.
That was when they called in the Heroes. The authority had no idea that the tiny “Red” model that Reico had developed had been brought to the peak of human excellence, with a few other gifts added to annoy authority. While she wasn’t bullet proof her body’s healing was much faster than a typical human. If only they’d known she’d strayed into other parts of the animal kingdom to create this form. Designed primarily for assassination and combat it was the last body they should have put her into. But mistakes happen and now Reico was free.
Not afraid of the heroes she tried to start her work again as a geneticist but found that this body lacked any real attention span, perhaps a side effect of all those animals she’d dumped into her DNA, and found herself more enticed into a role of combat. It was in an underground fighting ring where the Hero “Excelsior” discovered her and beat her in single combat. Revved up from the combat Reico lost control of herself and submitted to “Excelsior” and her pheromones took over, dragging the hero into an embrace became another battle of survive that “Excelsior” hadn’t expected but didn’t mind.
Finally subdued Reico was deemed too dangerous and was sent to the Oblivion Hole, she had been found guilty earlier so there wasn’t a need for any trial this time. Reico has found that life in the hole has been better than she could imagine. With her physical abilities she quickly earned a reputation for being an incredible fuck or fight. It just depended on her mood. Long gone was the patient and intelligent scientist. In its place was a person who lived moment by moment and was unconcerned with a pursuit for immortality. And an almost animal like instinct for revenge against the Wardens who "disciplined" her. Not that some of those were things she disliked. Still she had to establish she was an Alpha Predator in her jungle.

Name: Mariposa
Age: 20
Physical Description: Stands 5'3 165lbs. Mariposa is immediately distinguishable from all others by her milky white skin and insectoid features, including dense chitin plating along her arms, legs, and midsection. While more durable than regular skin, this chitin doesn't impede her sense of touch. Her wings are capable of glowing in the dark and provide her limited flight, and the antennae that fall along her bangs are incredibly sensitive and provide a bevy of information to her, acting almost like a 6th sense. She sports D cup breasts and generous hips on an otherwise petite frame, and the parts of her body not covered in armor are still just as soft and supple as human skin. Nude body (nsfw)

Background: Little is known about Mariposa's past other than that she was born as part of a pharmaceutical company's experiments into gene splicing and hybridization. Her specific case involved the use of insect DNA, trying to figure out how to pass on some of their more ideal traits to the human genome. While mammalian gene splicing has been tested and verified enough to become fairly common, anything from outside kingdoms is still shaky territory, especially when dealing with any kind of invertebrate. As such the experiments had a disastrously high mortality rate, with only a handful of subjects surviving to maturity, Mariposa included, and even among them most were considered too unsightly or twisted to be considered proper successes. After unsatisfying results the program was promptly scrapped and the idea shelved for later.

It is unknown exactly what happened to Mariposa after the program was shut down, or how she avoided being terminated by the company's cover up measures, but the next time she publicly surfaced was at the age of 18, having fallen in with a group of other gene-modded humans. This group seemed intent on organizing some kind of political uprising, and committed a multitude of heinous crimes to that end. However before they could gain any proper traction a group of heroes was sent in to infiltrate their compound and wipe them out, save for the higher ranking members who were taken into custody, Mariposa included. As such Mariposa's true capabilities and threat level never had a chance to be properly established, and publicly she is a relative unknown. Within the walls of Oblivion Hole however she has quickly grown to be a person of influence, controlling a small, but respectable gang known as the "Monarchs", which has been on a steady rise in the past year or so.

Concept: Bio-engineered moth hybrid. Up and coming gang leader with a knack for breaking women and using them as tools to gain influence.

Name: Abigail Winters "Blink"
Age: 26
Physical Description: Stands 5'9 148 lbs. Abigail is a beautiful young woman with snow white hair and emerald green eyes. She has a buxom figure, though it is usually hidden by the stylish-yet-professional cut of the suites she tends to wear, which along with her short hair gives her a somewhat tomboyish feel. Her body is outfitted with a variety of sub-dermal mods to increase her strength, speed, and reaction time, though her most stand out augments by far are her eyes, designed with cutting edge technology to allow her to take in process crazy amounts of information. With them she is able to analyze opponents with pin-point accuracy, further boosting her responsiveness in battle to the point of being able to fight with melee weapons alone.

Background: Abigail Winters is a second generation hero, the daughter of renowned hero "SureStrike" and his long time support bio-engineer Emily Winters. For the longest time her parents had intended for her to lead a normal life, not wanting their daughter to face the dangers of fighting against villains and corrupt corporations. Unfortunately for them there was no one Abigail looked up to more in the entire world than her father, and her determination to follow in his footsteps was unshakable. For years her parents refused to train her, and so in defiance she would sneak off to try and train herself, culminating with her attempt to stop what had looked like a routine mugging, but in reality had turned out to be a full blown assault from an actual villain. She would have been killed that day had her father not intervened in the nick of time. However this set back only further bolstered her resolve, and seeing that she would be throwing herself into danger no matter what, SureStrike finally relented and agreed to train her properly.

In addition to her father's rigorous training, Abigail's mother installed her with special enhancements that would make her stronger, faster, and more adaptive than the average human, both of her parents pouring everything they had into making her the strongest hero they could. By the time she graduated school she had been honed into a highly disciplined and dangerous fighter, and it wasn't long before she joined a team of her own and started making waves in her home city. She became famous not only for her deadly grace in combat, but also her iron will, always pushing herself forward and never breaking no matter how dire the situation may have seemed.

However a meteoric rise such as hers did not go unnoticed. Her father had made more than his fair share of enemies in his time as a hero, and they were none to thrilled at the idea of having to deal with a whole new generation of his meddlesome antics. So a group of them formed together and hatched a truly heinous scheme. Taking advantage of his aging body and stubborn refusal to retire, this group of villains finally managed to catch SureStrike off guard enough to put him down for good. Not only that, but with their connections to the government managed to frame Abigail for the murder herself, a sham of a trial earning her a life sentence to the Oblivion Hole, effectively killing two birds with one stone. It has been one year since she was sent to the Hole, and has had no contact with her hero companions since then. However while tragic, her sentence now acts as a possible ray of hope to the newly imprisoned heroes, as her experience in the prison will no doubt make her a valuable asset in their attempts to escape, and with her unbreakable will she has no doubt put plenty of thought and planning into just how to do it

Concept: A sweeping force of grace and willpower. A blade slinging badass with plans for freedom!

The idea is that most/all heroes are indeed wrongfully imprisoned or somehow victims of a plot so that would work just fine, though he's soon going to find himself in big trouble if he distrusts rest of the heroes - his only potential allies at start :-)
