:)  Well, I came up with a concept I'd rather play than the Fight Director again, but I was refering to a gal who choreographs and directs fights in plays. 

But I'm working on a Free Runner instead: 

Lacy Bruce: 

"Pay attention, boys.  This is how a mechanics daughter from the wrong side of the tracks defies gravity.  If I can do this, you can do anything." 

Lacy is the oldest of Daniel Bruce's three children.  Raised by a single father who worked full time in an auto shop, Lacey worked hard as a child, helping take care of her younger sister and brother.  She was more a creative and kinesthetic thinker than anyone who would normally do well in school, but she applied herself and passed with good enough grades to take the fight to college. 

She learned a lot form her father, craftsmanship, self defense, and a love for fast motion.  While her father loved cars best, she just liked to move.  She'd never heard of "Free Running" when a local club ran into her on a third story roof at sixteen... 

Attractive and skilled, with an easy smile and as little fear of the camera as of heights, she was soon filming professional free running videos with a small following amongst that niche.  She even appeared twice in professional rock stars music videos.

I was just trying to think of skills ;)  A specialty in Empathy could work instead maybe, if she is used to getting a sense for people.



How would Lacy Bruce be involved with the Queen's Emerald?

Oh!  I missed that we were supposed to already be the crew of the Queen's Emerald. 

I have an easy answer, though.  She's working on board as a mechanic/engineer.  :)

Hmmm, your Skills don't add up, they should be 11/7/4 (+2), you have 9/7/6.  And the Queen's Emerald isn't really a research ship.  She could be doing some studying on it, but would be working as a salvager.

I would be interested in joining up. I have two concepts right now; which would be more welcome, a diver or a doctor at this point?

A diver would fit better of the two, though I imagine a doctor could be made to work if you preferred that concept.

Tell me a bit more abou this boat?  What they do and who they work for?

The ship is a smaller vessel that specializes in the recovery of goods from underwater.  So lost cargo, sunken treasure, etc.  It would operate primarily in coastal waters near New England.  It is are privately owned by the Captain, a thirty-something woman who has spent most of her life at sea.  Their current employer is an eccentric but reclusive millionaire, more details about him will come out ingame.

It looks like you might have a few more merit points to spend, PrettyinPink. You get two points for free in Resources, thanks to our storyteller's house rule, and you get 7 points to spend wherever you like.

It looks to me like you only have 3 merit points spent. (And they're in resources, which already has free dots.) Unless I'm not seeing something, I think you have 6 more merit points to spend. :)

Aside from the fact that I can't seem to find my core copy of the core book?  And the Wiki not having the full list?

As Dizzied said you would have 6 more points in merits.  You also need to choose specialties and are missing your Vice, Virtue, and Profession. 

Sorry you can't find your book. :-(
