What is a Harem Show?

Harem (ハーレムもの hāremumono, "harem works") in anime and manga is an emphasis on polygamous, or love triangle relationships characterized by a protagonist surrounded amorously by three or more members of either the same and opposing gender, sex, and love interests. When it is yuri or male-hetero oriented harem series, the polygynous relationship is informally referred to as a female harem or seraglios. When it is a yaoi or female-hetero oriented harem series, the polyandrous relationship is informally referred to as a male harem, reverse harem or gyaku hāremu.

The idea of there being one male or female character 'usually they are clueless in the ways of sex and seduction' that is being chased after by several or more characters is a popular theme. This is going to be an open-themed free-form game, with a possible ending scripted down the road. The plot is simple - The former heir Septimus Bartholomew Winterbilt is getting old his children (Twins), who has been sent to school overseas is now coming home, and they only get to inherit if they provide an heir.

Does the Estate have men or are there only women working on this Estate?

The family estate has many men and women who work there, some of whom might be interested in having the place become their homes permanently, by becoming the twin heirs' wife or husband. Some of them known the twins since they were young; some have never met them. Some of them are around the same age he is, while some are older... possibly much older!

Is this a way for my character to have various scenes with other characters?

Well, yes, that's part of the point.  But it's also a way to expand the theme - the character set will be open to men as well as women. The butler, the gardener, the mailman... there's a lot of options for other men to take an interest in the goings-on, and perhaps some of the ladies will decide that they're more interested in love with someone else than competing with a gaggle of other women for the heir. The possibilities here are just as broad as the ladies.

Past Game and the current idea...
This is in continuation after the events of Septimus Bartholomew Winterbilt or better known as Tim returned to the after hearing being summoned home after years at an all-boys boarding school because due to his father's supposed death. The family's wealth is known far and wide and has its hands in many areas, so money isn't a problem, at all, ever. His Father's will are that for his son to claim the entire Family fortune, he has to get married before he turns twenty and demonstrates his attempts to foster an heir himself, to continue the family dynasty through another generation.

The only problem was that Septimus had no real understanding of women due to spending most of his time in a school which lacked the opposite sex. Through various encounters, the young man learns from the staff about women and love though everyone had their reasons behind it. In the end, his father had not died but pulled the wool over all of his staffs' eyes save a few who were in the loop. It was all a ploy for his son who ultimately finds the love of his life while getting a few laughs at his son's expense.

After twenty years Tim feels like its time to pass on the mantle so he can relax and live the remaining the rest of his remaining years with his wife. Tim has two children twins who will be put to the task of bearing grandchildren who will one day take up he title as well. The only issue is only one of them can be the head of the estate. The only stipulation is that they can't just run off to the first person they see and have a kid. They'll have to find someone that loves them in the same way.

The Story Elements...

There will be love, lust, hot sex, cold panics, jealousy, and more, for sure. Possible sex scene elements include Straight sex, Harem-ish gang-bangs, embarrassed interruptions, spying voyeurs, bisexual and lesbian scenes, the full range of BDSM, semi-consensual manipulation, and more. What there won't be are the more extreme elements in the kettle - no rape, no vore, necrophilia, coprophilia, limb removal, and so on - the items commonly set in players' "hell no" categories. 

The world and its Background...

The game is set in a 'modern-fantasy' world. The technology is a bit behind modern day - cars are rare and generally only owned by rich people, the internet doesn't exist but 'Paranet, a magical communication network', does, phones and other devices are partially magic and partially technology. Magic isn't common, but it isn't scarce, either. Players can ASK if their characters can use magic, but the answer is probably no if they're in their teens or very early twenties. Nonhuman characters may have minor magical abilities, however.

Female Character and Details...

Female characters are generally expected to be more or less attractive, by any definition possible. Tall and thin, short and plushy, huge breasts, Itty-Bitty-Titty-Committee, whatever. It's your character and your imagination. Female characters can choose to have them know the twins from when they were kids, pre-teens, etc. before they were shipped off to school.  Unlike the original game Tim didn't really fool around like his father who liked to get around and play with ladies all over the place.

For male character and details....

Male characters are also expected to be more or less attractive because that's the way anime shows are. Just like the females, the male characters can even know the twins from childhood, or from school. If they know them from school, then they'll have to be in the twenty to twenty-five year old.

The character race details...

The twins are human, and so was his father so on and so forth. Characters can be human or almost any demihuman you can imagine within reason is possible. That means that they must have two arms, two legs, a more-or-less normal (and cute/attractive) face, and so on. Wings, tails, etc. are excellent. The list can be as vast as you can while you have a grand imagination. They can be monster girls or males, typically explained as being a half-breed. However, if I end up with all human characters that will be alright with me. I don't want to limit your possibilities with what you want to play, not what you think.

For relationship details...

You can set up pre-starting relationships between other characters if you have their agreement. This is where communication is important and if you want to be a loner that's cool, but don't expect people to think they should walk up to you and be as if they've know you forever.

"Character Roles/Jobs:

Accountant (M/F) - The person who helps the Heirs take care of the economics of the Family's money and investments. Possibly the job that spends more time with the Heirs than anyone else, with the possible exception of the Butler. Limit 1 - Taken!

Bride/Groom candidate (M/F) - There were some previous arrangements made with some lovely individuals that just happened to have some connections. Will any of them actually be chosen by the heir/heiress though? Limit 5.

Butler (M) - The Butler's job is to take care of the Family's needs. With the Father dying and the Heir-son gone, he's been trying to keep himself busy, but it's time for him to get back to work! Limit 1. - Taken!

Chauffeur (M/F) - The person who drives the company vehicles. Not only is the Chauffeur responsible for driving the Heir around, he/she is also involved in supply runs and other instances of driving the household vehicles. No limit!

Chef (M/F) - This is a catch-all for anyone who prepares food. Your character could be the master chef, the sous-chef (second-in-command), or any of a dozen other specialties - or just one of the kitchen workers. Limit of 4: Master chef 1 - Taken!,  Sous chef 1,  General chef 2. 3 places left!

Cousin (M/F) - This young lady still lives in the house and takes advantage of her time there. She's probably between school semesters. Incestuous? Lesbian? Troublemaker? You decide. Limit of 1. - Taken!

Gardener (M/F) - Someone who takes care of the plant life outside of the mansions. A fairly free-form job, the gardeners can probably wander the premises at will. Limit 1. - Taken!

Groundskeeper (M/F) - The person who keeps the rest of the outside repaired and in good shape. Works closely with the Gardener. May double as a repairman/repairwoman at times. Limit 2.

Housekeeper (F) - The person in charge of the Maids, this person's job is to keep track of what cleaning work needs to be done. Limit 1. - Taken!

Lawyer (M/F) - The person who is managing the Father's will and testament, and the only person who knows what the will's actual achievement goals are. Limit 1.

Maid (F) - A mansion this big needs a lot of people to keep it clean! And the Father had a definite preference for young, cute, and scantily-clad. The Maid Uniforms are fairly skimpy and sexy! No limit - a dozen maids is fine, too.   (Traps are also welcome!)

Mechanic (M/F) - The household has a lot of cars that need maintaning~ Limit of 3. - 2 spaces left.

Nurse (M/F) - Responsible for taking care of minor injuries and illnesses for everyone in the household, this job has some magical training. Limit of 2.

Nanny/Au Pair (F) - Looked after the heir from the moment he was born until the moment he left for boarding school. Still lives on site. Limit of 1. - Taken!

Personal tutor (M/F) - The Heir may have left the school but it doesn’t mean his education ends there! Limit of 5. 4 spaces left!

Pool attendant (F/M) - Someone's got to make sure that the pool is clean and that everyone follows safe pool protocols, right? Limit of 1.

Quartermaster (M/F) - Takes care of the day-to-day supplies of the mansion, making sure that everything stays well-stocked. Will often work closely with the chefs of the household. Limit of 1.

Secretary (F) - Every Lawyer needs one! Limit of 1.

Security (M/F) - It's this person's job to keep everyone else in the household safe, but especially the family members! Limit 2.

Self-Proclaimed Rival (M/F) - A (former) friend of the Heirs, they have decided that it's their purpose in life to do what the Heirs do, only better. Limit 1.

Self-proclaimed Rival part two (M/F) - A childhood friend/sweetheart of a Bride/Groom candidate and they are NOT happy that their precious someone has been taken away from them. Limit 1. (For now)

Stable Master (M) - Takes care of the horses and stables on the estate. Limit of 1. - Taken!

Stable Boy (M) - Assistant to the stable master.

Tailor (M/F) - Making and repairing clothing in the household is almost a full-time job - those Maid's outfits seem to tear so easily... Limit of 1.

Character name: Michiro no Orochi Nickname (if any): Michi, Bean Sprout, Yama's Brat Age: Twenty-two Race: Yōkai (Mix-breed) Gender: Male Job/Role: Butler Sexual Orientation: Hetero-flexible (Has not issue flirting with both men and women, but will not go to far as to advance past small flriting with men.) Sexual Experience: Has been sexually active since his late teens though it hasn't seemed to slow down much since being dubbed the new butler of the Winterbit Estate. Michiro tends to try and not get involved with those at work since most of the older workers he's known as a child alongside the Winterbit Twins. Usually, he tries to keep his affiliation to those who are new as he doesn't want to have that awkward moment of remembering they used to take care fo him as a kid. Sadly, it still tends to happen. One can blame his aunt for this... Sexual Preferences: Check Player O/O's Sexual "Offs": Scat, Vore, Etc. Basic personality: One of Michi's constant traits is his friendliness and overall politeness toward any stranger and acquaintance. Having a gentle heart, he usually doesn't seek to be mean or vulgar. However, Michiro's friendliness disappears on the rare occasions he is angered, and he becomes more abrasive, acting more like his father which frightens him. He also possesses a rather cheerful personality. He finds wonder in most things (such as his new bike, a new volume of his favorite manga being released, finding an error in a map, etc.), and has little trouble befriending people, Another one of Michi's primary characteristics is his courage and associated virtuousness while working. When he first started this job as butler Michi was very cowardly, but courageous when push comes to shove. True to that assertion, very prone to express anxiety, fear, and despair at various setbacks or plans falling apart. The mix of his gentleness and overall demeanor the young man is an extremely likable individual, earning the friendship and respect of the vast majority of the staff. When it comes to the job he's is a relatively perceptive individual, able to make quick and decisive plans though some don't always pan out like he hopes, sometimes at the cost of being too imprudent. For the most part, he tries to analyze his situation before acting, notably due to how inexperienced he is compared to his father and the severe limitations of his knowledge due to age. A description of your character: Michiro is a young man of average height and slim yet muscular build, far smaller in stature than his towering father. He has light green hair of fairly long length tied back in a braided tail, with bangs which block most of his vision if not taken care of before work. His hair was originally white and unkempt but transformed upon hitting maturity which neither Yama nor Fen could explain why. His eyes, sharpen at the ends similar to those of his father's. While on the job Michi wears the typically butler's outfit just like his father had, which consists of black trousers, a six-button double-breasted tailcoat, and a gray vest. He has the Winterbit crest on his shirt cuffs and tie. The young butler also sports white gloves, a pocket watch, and a chained silver lapel pin bearing the crest, traditionally worn by the house's head butler. Off-duty he wears clothing that he finds comfortable. Tank tops, hoodies, sneakers, etc. He takes his general liberties quite seriously as he's never been one to wear the uniform off working hours unless needed. Despite being scolded for this it doesn't matter as his position as head butler is secured.

A description of your character: Granddaughter of the former gardener, Fenfang, and the daughter of wild child Nari and her estranged mate Yssimir... one would assume Fumi is an accident and/or disaster waiting to happen, but nope. Next, to her half-uncles, she is probably the most harmless and peaceful one in her family.

Fumiko stands at 5.8ft and has one single tail that reaches the middle of her back. She has clearly inherited her family's a lovely hourglass figure and has generous 34 E's to compliment it. Her hair long thin hay blond hair, which flows to the back of her rump. She has her father's amethyst eyes and pale skin. More often than not she will wear traditional Japanese style clothing as that is the style she has grown accustomed to while staying with her half-uncle.

Extra: Fumiko has a messed up family tree and all of it can be traced to previous employees/residents of the household. Fenfang and Yamata no Orochi (Grandmother and step-grandfather.), Nari and Yssimir Voltreich (Mother and father), Ashina Akihiko (Step-Uncle), and Mamoru. (Half-Uncle)

It's a special bond that two people can share for a short time, it's so sensual and fun. There are many different paths to take to enjoy it. Calla has enjoyed them all, she doesn't  mind what her partner looks like as long as the interest is mutual. Love? Well she's heard that sex between lovers just amplifies the enjoyment! With the Fenfang unable to tend her plants the garden began to die and the land screamed for help. The answer arrived in the form of Calla. Where ever she walked plants grew and a trail of forest creatures could be seen, the dryad didn't even think to ask if she should tamper with the garden but simply set to work nursing the garden back to life. In a short space of time the garden was back in full bloom just in times for the twins arrival. It was shortly after this that Fenfang discovered the unusual young woman, sleeping soundly in a bed of roses with some animals guarding her sleep. They seemed to know that the women meant no harm and allowed her to approach.  Fenfang gave Calla official dominion over the plants and trees and she has been there ever since.

Character name: Charles Castex Nickname (if any): Silly Hatter Age: 28 Race: Human Gender: Male Job/Role: Accountant- Keeper of the numbers and affairs of the estate, by making sure that the books don't go screwy by accident or otherwise. As long as things line up for the heirs in financial department then they can focus on their games of trying to figure out the political matters of the family.  Sexual Orientation: Pansexual Sexual Experience: Numbers have always been my game silly people, I have no time for such things when making sure that your estate runs by the numbers. Maybe a little tryst here and there, but that is about it. I do admit though... it gets rather lonely... Sexual Preferences: Players O/Ofs Sexual "Offs": Scat, Gore, Water Sports, and Vore is all I can think of for now. Basic personality: Charles can come off as slightly cold and calculating, but to anyone who knows him this is just a front he uses to protect the information his job requires him to deal with. He takes protecting the wealth of family as a personal burden, that causes him to over work sometimes. Making sure to cross all the t's and dot all the i's can get tiring, but he takes it in stride... though it does cause him to forget to take care of himself every now and then... he sees it as a small sacrifice. Is he aloof... yes. Is our silly accountant asexual... oh he wishes... the desire to not be bribed in such a manner by someone outside the house hold is his main worry rather than any interactions with those within. He does tend to spend quite a bit of time while he is doing numbers with his pet cats, finding nothing more soothing than their gentle purring after a long days work. A description of your character: Charles dresses like a the silly odd ball that he normally is. Wearing an messed up top depending on if the situation calls for it, the male typically changes what little decorations he has all over it based simply on his moods or for other more personal reasons such as a way to show affection to one person or more. His dress suit is pretty much the same, and while clean and taken care one start to wonder when he is going to get a new one... mostly it is because he wishes to save his money rather than spend it on something so frivolous. It is also very unusual to see the accountant without at least one of his two pet cats. The white one who follows along, or the black one that sits on his shoulder. Even with his pets around the man seems to hold a certain regal air that doesn't match his appearance. After all he simply trying to save a little bit of coin here and then, not act like an uncultured person who could embarrass the house. How he came into the employee of the house is an odyssey in its own right at least as far as Charles is concerned and has a lot to do with the patch he wears over his eye... and the reason he has grown in hair in such a way that he can cover it when he needs to given the sight of what is underneath is 'unpleasant' to say the least in his opinion. When someone makes you an offer you can't refuse it usually implies some sort of threat, in Charles case... it meant another chance at life. A chance at life as the Winterbilt's new Accountant or dying the gutter of an injury his family could never pay for. He had the skills to preform the job, but the rather large caveat he was given in order to have it was what would have given anyone else pause. Not for him though, instead he would take on the mantel of the demon's oath that the family already had, with its mark appearing over his injury to seal and heal it full, but leaving the scar behind... and live among a family he knew would provide a higher standard of living than what he had. In a way it is this part of his past that he tries to cover up, but at the same time can easily remind him or be reminded to him of a need to live in the present.

Character name: Zyra Frostborn Nickname (if any): Zyra Age: Unknown, but she appears to be in her twenties and doesn't seem to age. Race: Witch Gender: Futa Job/Role: Librarian/Abjurer.  Zyra is responsible for the wards of the mansion, giving her knowledge of the name, race and location of anyone who enters, and blocking the passage of the truly malevolent.  Local gossip claims that she's able to divine the particular kinks and preferences of individuals as well, but she only smiles when such things are directly asked to her. Since maintaining the wards requires little effort so long as she remains at the mansion, she's also taken on the task of managing the mansion's library. Sexual Orientation: Gynosexual Sexual Experience: There are very few things that Zyra hasn't experienced at least in some way at some point in her life.  The same spell that maintains her youth also provides her with a healthy sex drive, and she doesn't really see it as a flaw. Hands can roam even, but he mostly enjoys doing this to leave girls hot and bothered) Sexual Experience: Fair experience, not quite extensive to the point of having tried everything, however. He considers himself somewhat vanilla in his experience, but unafraid to commit to trying something new. Sexual Preferences: Very wide-reaching (see preferences and ask if something makes you curious!) A description of your character: Rashid stands at a height of 6'3, with a head of peach-colored hair, and a body built fairly, often unafraid to be shown (it helps coming from lands where one wears less or otherwise thin clothes to beat the heat). Often times when he dresses casually he'll wear varying makes of shorts and open-top or midriff-exposing shirts, though when temperatures get colder, he's got clothes at the ready. He usually doesn't dress too differently when working, but he possesses a few jumpsuits incase the work gets heavier than usual. He definitely enjoys working on repairing vehicles, a passtime picked up back home when it came to maintaining one's own vehicle. However, maintaining vehicles isn't just a job for him, it's a hobby, almost a commitment even. By taking care of a vehicle, making sure it's needs are met, the vehicle will in turn take care of you through thick and thin. Others have joked that he views caring for a vehicle almost like a marriage, which he jokes isn't entirely untrue, but there are differences. Much of his work is done solely on estate vehicles, but he does offer to work on private vehicles for a reduced price, sometimes even free if the circumstances are right. Titania has so much of mysterious allure within her. A woman who is soft spoken, yet her voice somehow managed to sound seductive in nature especially. She's fully aware that she's beautiful, and she knows very well on her allure and her attractiveness, which is why she is not one to be shy to flaunt her beauty by dressing in provocative clothes while maintaining an elegant flare. A person with so much self-confidence, especially in her abilities along with her appearance, she might come off as somewhat proud and pompous.

Even then, nobody can deny how graceful the woman is, and how she does have a very friendly, warm aura to her. She tends to have people very relaxed in her presence, especially on how kind and charming she can be. Acquaintances or friends, Titania is very willing to make conversations with them and put them at ease, though she wouldn't hesitate on flirting if she finds the other person attractive in her eyes. Despite being very friendly to talk with, Titania doesn't really talk much about her past and seems rather aloof when it came to talking about her history especially. Other than that, it's very rare to see her be angry or anything like so, as it seemed nothing could perturbed her (other than her husband, unfortunately.) And just like any other fae, she couldn't resist showing a little mischief every now and then; mostly pulling small, harmless pranks or teasing an unfortunate victim.

Description: Standing at a height of 5'10", Titania can be considered to an ethereal beauty in her own right. Many people would consider her to be the perfect example of feminity and elegance all wrapped up in one bundle. Her raven black hair was always kept long and straight as an arrow to where her hair even reaches to the floor, but nonetheless, matches with her piercing golden eyes. The only thing, which would give away on how she's definitely not a human, is her pointed ears, which people would usually mistake her to be an elf.

Curvaceous in the right places, Titania tends to wear dark-coloured, tight and form-fitting clothes and always favours black and dark red especially. Despite she has access to modern clothing, she tends to be more comfortable wearing victorian gothic fashion with tight corsets to define her ample bust even further and she usually adds black feathers to her clothes as her signature flair. Her cool head, and piercing gaze was passed down to James. James grew up on the old family farm and was responsible for taking care of the animals. And the one animal he cared for the most were the horses. Majestic creatures that have a natural bond with humans. He loves his job, and when he heard that the twins were coming to the mansion, he knew that he must return to help with the stables. He called the mansion and spoke with the butler about taking the position, and he mentioned his father Samuel. And now he is ready to move into a new life, a new adventure as he comes to the mansion.

Basic Personality: One of the rarer kinds of being, scylla are, on the whole, creatures defined by their hungers. Most infamously known are those who hungered for blood, either due to their urges towards violence or gluttony. That kind are, these days, almost non-existent, their fate something of a necessity given how hard they find it to control themselves.
Originally a 'friend' of Tim's great-great-grandmother (who shared certain traits with her grandson, especially when it came to women), Sybella was similarly ruled by her hungers, although those desires were of a less violent and far more carnal nature.
She has since mellowed out and learned to control herself, at least a little bit, but even today Sybella has a habit of letting her tentacles wander. Still, at least she can take 'no' for an answer. Usually. If repeated often enough.
Her position with the maids is one that she worked herself into over the years, her long lifespan and willingness to not just satisfy her masters and mistress' desires but to ensure that the maids were also available to them has left her in her current position. And, despite her near-constant lust for her staff, she's actually pretty good at her actual job, too.
Playful and extremely flirty, she wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for just how 'hands on' she is with the rest of the staff. While she typically stops, there have been a few incidents (and a couple of pregnancies) with previous staff members over the years.

A description of your character:  With the upper body of a busty woman approaching middle age, Sybella's height is a bit difficult to determine thanks to the complete absence of legs. Her tentacles, lined with suction cups and tapering up in width from barely the size of a finger to thicker than most thighs, serve her for getting around on both ground and in the water (and for 'playing' with the staff) and with her full, soft lips, long red hair and big green eyes, she's far from unattractive.
