Just wondering if anyone had picked up a copy of this yet, and if so, what they thought of it.

I will get my copy this week (I hope), when I do I will give my report of it.

I've had a look.

It's weird.  Probably the most-changed of any game that made it from oWoD to new.  I'm not sure yet if I like it or not...

I'm sitting here reading it now. It seems good so far, though it's alot darker than the old one.

I've never played the original, but had a look at it, and enjoyed what I'd seen. How different is the new one?

Well, the old one was about stories, fairytales and magic, sometimes with a dark twist.
The new game is like the fairytales used to be, dark and scary. You play humans who have been abducted by the cruel and fickle fey, and have been  changed by the time spent in Arcadia. When you finally make your way back to the mortal realm, you find  you no longer fit in, an imposter created by the Fey have taken your place, not even knowing themself that they aren't real.

Sounds as White Wolf has done it again. I must say I really like their new take on World of Darkness.

Swedish Steel

Yeah, I really like the new WoD. With the exception of Demon, the old WoD was a wank fest.

Demon was a good game. To bad it came out just as they were terminating the whole line. It caused the game to come up a bit short.

not fair - you're all making it sound actually interesting... gah - good sign i should go to sleep, i'm starting to write like a 4 year old!  lol

It's definitely interesting but if you liked Changeling the Dreaming for the possibility to have a lighter, happier campaign in WoD, just call this one  The Lost and nevermind the Changeling part because this is far from light and happy. I like it because it seems to have all the elements for a gothic, bittersweet and almost dreary game without the emo angst of old Vampire.
