There's a bewanged married couple living discreetly out of a scenic estate overlooking the lake. They've inherited money, or just been exceedingly careful, and developed this rich person's conceit that they could buy and sell your ass. You might remember one of them as your high school science teacher, which makes it all the more awkward these ladies are now in an open relationship with your mom.

Money has always been tight and mom never really matured from the wild teens which begat you. She resented you, and has never been able to give you the leg up necessary to move out of the house. You've been an unwilling audience as these wealthy women take her dignity away piece by piece. Now that they have her wrapped around their fingers emotionally and financially, the ulterior motive comes out: they'd like a little slice of you on the side. Not only is mom aware, she's pressuring you to bend over and take the double time.

She says you're too young to understand what kind of opportunity this is, says you can't understand the kind of compromises a woman in her 30s needs to make for love.
