How do I subscribe to a specific thread in a forum?

How do I subscribe to a specific thread in a forum? I would like to recieve new postings via mail

If you look at the top of the thread you'll see a button "Notify."  Simply click that and answer yes in the window that pops up.

Or click 'add bookmark' just next to it which puts it in your list of bookmarked threads.

This would work for keep track of threads on Elliquiy, but bookmarks alone won't notify you of new replies via email (while the notifications options does).
