A Steam Punk/Supernatural Plot (Female seeking anyone please :))

In a steam punk setting a Doctor whose grown disillusioned with his/her work and life is approached by one, Alick Lime, the eldest daughter of the Lime family.  Without pause she lays out her need for a doctor to care for her bedridden sister before kidnapping the doctor and forcing him/her to her home the dilapidated Lime manor. 

There s/he is introduced to the 'family'  including, Rueben the loyal butler a former Army doctor who was a medicine man in his village specializing in spiritual injuries. Marcus,  The very dead family head who continues to gamble with his very dead friends in the very cold parlor, where they were all murdered by the same man who plays poker with them as he accidentally killed himself as well. 

And of course Alick's younger ill sister. 

Julia, a young woman of striking and haunting beauty whose illness doesn’t stem from the normal ailments of the human body.  Dragged into this odd world the doctor finds him/herself facing the idea that ghosts are real, demons are real, monsters are real,  and they'd all very much like to eat, or kill him/her, If it weren't for Alick and her work as a Hunter for the crown.  Working as a shadow assassin for the Queen Alick manages to earn enough money for the upkeep of the family estate and a level of supernatural security keeping the house secured from darker forces.

How will the poor doctor fare at the hands of a seeming lunatic and her even more insane Family and life!?

This plot is intended to be long term, from the foggy streets of London, to the dew covered fields of Norfolk, to the snowy mountains of Scotland you only have to play the doctor,  and anyone you might like to add as a side character for flavor or plot.
