Aethian

Have an idea that has been bugging me, so hopefully I explain this right.

You: A almost down and out painter who once charmed the heads of state. Had royalty fawning over his work, women throwing themselves at his feet to get painted by him. And then...one day...the canvas stayed blank. Nothing could come, nothing was coming. The charm seemed to have left. Now it's more then a year later and while still fawned over the looks are getting colder with more pity for that of a shadow or has been. And it's slowly drawing you insane.

Living now out in the sticks you don't get many people out your way and the past week has been no different. Well almost no different, when out doing some yard work, you happened to catch sight of something in the woods. But it was only a moment. Then it had happened again, another quick sighting of something. Again and again...feeling almost as if insanity has finally caught you.

Then on the night of the blue moon you find yourself walking through the wood and happen to come across her, a creature not of human descent. Her long brown hair being brushed straight as she looks at her own reflection in a moon lit pond. Taking a step closer a twig breaks and the woman turns quickly, eyes catch and it feels like the very woods around you becomes brighter. When the feeling passes she is gone, but now you have something to paint.

Now the purpose of this post, you want to find her again. You want to stroke that long hair, want to touch her cheek, look into those eyes again.

What say you?
