Interest check for Rogue Trader

Hey all!

I have a home made campaign for the warhammer 40k rpg rogue trader which I'd love to play through. So now I am just doing an interest check here to see if anyone is well...interested? I have never been a game master over the internet but I'd like to try it, with the rogue trader rules and all.

The campaign itself is rather long and character driven. Different themes will be seen through the many adventures and it can be as action packed as the players want it to be. Also I do not see this campaign as a sex driven game. So any sex between characters will be "behind the scenes" so to speak :p

Simply put: Is anyone interested in participating in a Rogue Trader game? If so: write in this thread! ;D

One word of warning, however - GMing PbP campaigns is a really long commitment, as everything takes five times as long as it does in real life. Combats are best resolved quickly, with the GM doing all the rolling: online is where problem solving and character development is at it's best.

Not to discourage you - the best games I've had have been PbP - but just remember that those are the things I wish I'd been told before I GMed my first PbP.

As said, would love to come onboard, if you'll have me.

Yeah, I'm aware of the commitment needed for a game like this, but I think it could be worth it. Although it seems like there is not enough interest on this site anyway ;p

You can always collect interested people from a handful of sites and bring us together? Don't know how keen you are on this campaign, but I love me a bit of RT, and tend to follow RPs to sites rather than the other way round.

Well, I've done a check and it seems as if it's just too few people. Too bad :/
