Message body is empty

I am trying to add the following blurb to a char sheet.  The char sheet is fine by itself, but adding the following anywhere inside it causes an error message of "the message body is empty"

2 Tower Shield Specialists (Fighter): These two moon elves followed Nivek to learn from Fanchi, and thus far they have learned well.  Like Fanchi, they each run their own Combat Training area, where they develop 8 junior warriors of their choice.
1 Magician (Bard): One of two dark elves among the heroic followers, she was drawn to Nivek directly, and like him, she has mastered the performing arts and used that mastery to bolster magical talent.  She is in charge of the auditorium, where she teaches and occasionally performs for guests.
1 Crusader (Cleric): Surprisingly, the only sun elf amongst the heroic followers.  He worship Shelyn, the goddess of beauty, art, love and music.  Even more surprisingly, he is one of the five front line fighters in Nivek's army, using his gifts from the
protection domain to keep him safe.  He runs one of the two chapels, the one devoted to his goddess.
1 Sacred Shield (Paladin): The other dark elf, this man is a follower of Sarenrae, goddess of sun, redemption, honesty, and healing.  Also one of the five front line fighters.  He runs the other chapel, devoted to his goddess.
1 Wizard Transmuter: A moon elf from the end of Nivek's adventuring days, she was happy to follow him back to Syopiir and join the stronghold.  The magic laboratory is her domain.
1 Sniper (Rogue): Also from Nivek's adventuring days, he was almost ready to retire before Nivek, rather odd for a wood elf.  Despite being a quite skilled marksman, he prefers the business end of things, and runs the stronghold itself, particularly the inn, smithies, and shops. 
1 Warmage: A young moon elf with an amazing mind and potential, he runs the fourth combat training area, working with the few adepts he thinks worthy of molding into warmages.

Are you sure its because of that? I just copy-pasted that to myself without any errors. I know having a "<" as the first symbol in a message will make it give this error.

Again, it is clearly fine by itself, but when I tried adding it to my char sheet it failed.  Is there a max message length?  I took out a few lines and it worked.

so it probably isn't that. I'd be tempted to say it's a bit of rogue html messing up, but as this site uses bbcode instead, hidden html that lurk in things from word documents gets cleaned out. Even so - try pasting it in using control, shift V instead of just control V - that should get rid of hidden formatting

Okay.  I just tried posting everything line by line.  No matter which order I posted the followers in, after adding in two lines, I got the message.  It has to be a length issue.  Here is the post I am trying to modify.

Part of it does.  Several of the 'followers' descriptions are still blank.  I think that's what he means by 'after adding two lines'.

I wonder if the spoilers have anything to do with it?

I'd be amazed if it's a length issue; you can follow the link in my sig to see quite how much text has to be there to break the character limit for a single post.

I think the number of spoilers is doing something with the length.  But none of the other suggestions.

Where's your image URL? I don't see one in between the height=200 coding and the /IMG coding. Could that be a problem? I isolated the problem coding on one line for you so you could see it.

The lack of image isn't an issue, as there is no error from the post until it exceeds a set number of lines.
