Latest addition - Antone - welcome aboard!

One last MALE role needed!  Going...Going...GONE!!

I'm happy to provide an outline for the role but at the moment you can create your own. See how flexible I am?

So here’s the thing…I’m at the point of initiating my own RP due to the fact that my muse is working reasonably well and I’m waking up at night thinking that I should do this.

So OK…I’m new…relatively speaking…and I talk a lot…according to me anyway.  I’ve a need to create, now, so let your imagination run the way it wants and hopefully you’ll see something here that takes your fancy.

My only rules for my RPs are that I would like substance in the posts…some hooks that will stimulate others to embellish, think and be more creative…enhancing the enjoyment for all…readers and players. The second rule is that I ask you not to start something that you aren’t prepared to continue. For this reason I’m keeping the numbers low…big groups tend to dissipate and all is then lost.

Let’s start with this scenario and see how we go…PLEASE treat all character names and scenarios as changeable. The weekend is meant to be a watershed...one for each of the couples. They will leave together or go their separate ways based upon the events as they unfold. You can create, with the team helping if that works, an existing scenario for the couple that you are writing as. The Duke and Duchess' scenario as I have mapped out is but an example baseline from which dialogue and scenes can evolve. This will leave life changing decisions for each individual to be worked through during the weekend...let's discuss this further.

Four of a kind:

Background:

Year: 1946 post WW2

A country estate in Derbyshire, England that belongs to the Duke of Devonshire“The Duke”, Edward Hastings, a gentleman in his early forties who is all but estranged from his wife. They lost intimacy with each other 10 years ago due to his obsession with poker and other women. He would stay out all night, not returning until mid-morning the next day on the pretence that he was playing poker with friends. She knew that he was lying and could smell the scent of women on his clothes. Recently, he has experienced feelings of remorse for his unscrupulous behaviour and thinks a reconciliation with his wife would be good, but he can still stray under the right circumstances. During the war he was a Commander of the RAF 11 Group whose Spitfires protected the skies of Britain. Only his wife calls him Edward...everyone else defers to his title.

His wife, the Duchess, Isabelle Hastings, on the other hand, is still in love with him and acknowledges his infidelity only to her self, her outward composure and public togetherness with her husband belies an inward turmoil. She is torn between leaving him and loving him. However, she now has another issue…she finds herself attracted to certain women. She feels, wickedly experimental, that she needs to leave her sadness behind and has recently been strangely attracted by beautiful dominant women, secretly wanting to submit to their carnal pleasures. She has experienced strange and lustful feelings for her friend Clare which she is finding difficult to understand.

Clare is a switch…she likes it both ways. She is married to a rich industrialist Raymond Stanley, a South Yorkshireman who made his fortune in manufacturing essential items used during the war. She loves and hates to be dominated by Raymond. She dislikes Raymond generally but loves his ministrations, lifting herself to intoxicating highs. Lately though, she is feeling attracted to females where she can dominate and thereby pass on the pleasure she herself feels when being dominated. She likes Isabelle, it was her insistence that Raymond buy Isabelle a horse so that the two women could go riding together, Isabelle's own horse having suffered from a broken ankle following a jump recently and having had to be put down. Clare is looking forward to this next weekend...she can't wait!

Raymond is a bombastic Yorkshireman, dominant with sadistic tendencies. Basically he is a rude and evil bastard who loves to abuse women. He has been 'friends' with the Duke for 5 years, looking to climb the noble tree. He was introduced to The Duke as the man who was backing up the troops on the front line by manufacturing cooking utensils and so The Duke befriended him not really knowing his true character. The Duke feels obliged to occasionally entertain Raymond now due to a friendship between Isabelle and Clare. It is at Isabelle's request that Raymond is invited to this coming weekend. Raymond is ‘new money’ trying to mix it with the ‘old money’ royalty…quite embarrassingly by blatant sucking up through sending gifts, a horse for Isabelle was a recent gift…but he keeps on sucking up to the Duke in the faint hope that he will one day be able to rub shoulders with the Duke’s powerful extended noble family. He is a keen poker player who hates to lose.

Captain William "Bull" Henry, 35 is a handsome fellow and knows The Duke through flying under his command in missions over the English Channel and Northern France. The two of them share a passion for adventure.  He didn't come from a wealthy family but is a self made man who attended Exeter university prior to entering the Royal Air Force as a career pilot. Recently divorced, he has had a string of short term relationships with women and has joined in some of The Duke's debauched nights out on the town on their few days off between missions. As with many veterans, he finds it difficult to reestablish himself in the real world and hence he can't settle down but he is looking for that someone special. James is an excellent poker player.  His companion for the weekend is Helen Westley, an entry on page five of his black book of women and one who, although he hasn't seen since meeting her once briefly before, he remembered. She was chosen for her beauty and lack of inhibitions.

Helen Westley is a beautiful woman, 35, secretly wealthy by inheritance from her late stockbroker father, she is, by choice a professional escort to special clients. She is very selective and due to her lack of inhibitions and love of everything sexual has found an occupation that satisfies her needs. She met Captain Henry on one occasion as part of a group of girls who went to satisfy the flyers from the Royal Air Force one weekend. Just for fun, the girls all had special cards printed to introduce themselves that expressed their most intimate desires and they went overboard to delight the men. She was pleasantly  surprised to get a call from Captain Henry and agreed to be his escort for the coming weekend.

Faye Weston, a beautiful and popular singer entertainer who has held over 100 concerts for the troops. She is friends with royalty and is often called upon for private functions. She is the pin-up girl for the RAF and has 'entertained' senior officers of note in shall we say more discrete settings.  Since Winston Churchill and The Duke of Devonshire held a private affair at which she performed, she has been invited to hold concerts for RAF 11 Group and the 145 Squadron on many occasions to boost the morale of flyers. She is a sexually natural submissive but has fun playing the role of a giggling dom for some of the officers.

The Event:

The Duke's annual poker weekend (Friday night through Sunday morning)  will be held next week at his estate. Invited will be Raymond and Clare and two other couples. The men will play poker while the women enjoy their own company.  As the night progresses and the wine and liquor flows.

So that’s enough from me for now…let’s see if I get good enough responses to embellish this core scenario and get it off the ground.

Please PM me with your potential interest and profiles!  Let’s leave this thread for adding to the theatre. I will respond to everyone interested…I promise.

Thanks all.

I keep telling myself I am done with joining games ....but this one is too tempting to pass up.

could I play ...the Duchess Isabelle ....as the interesting set of personality conflicts is wonderful to imagine playing out .

Not that great at being a good complete submissive ...so doubt i could play Clare ...all that well. Public domination ...I just can't ..see that happening well for me . The part needs to got o someone who will enjoy it .

So if the Duchess Isabelle is open ...that might be most fun .

I will send you a PM .

All roles are available except Isabelle (Sasha), who has given me a compelling profile.  I'll be confirming owners when we have sufficient interest to commit which I think will be fair to all.

On advice from someone more experienced than me, please re-read the main post here looking for my changes in red.

Due to the fact that I'm going to allow all names and characters to change, all characters are OPEN again and I will make a decision as the profiles come in.

Update comment on Couple 4

It may work best if at least one of this pair is related to The Duke. That way we have no dialogue issues of introduction and we can create a common history of the relationship.

Here's a sample profile that you can use as a template...

Name: Duke of Devonshire “The Duke” Edward George Hastings

Age: 42

Height: 5’ 10”

Occupation: Air Vice-Marshal, RAF 11 Group, Commander,  now retired

Residence:

As Commander of the ‘11 Group’ the Duke spent much of his time at RAF Tangmere in Sussex during the war. Now retired, he lives at his home in Chatsworth House with his wife Isabelle and their dogs.

Chatsworth is a large country house in Derbyshire, England. It is the seat of the Dukes of Devonshire, and has been home to the Hastings family, since Bess of Hardwick settled at Chatsworth in 1549.

Standing on the east bank of the River Derwent, Chatsworth looks across to the low hills that divide the Derwent and Wye valleys. The house is set in expansive parkland, and backed by wooded, rocky hills rising to heather moor land. Chatsworth's garden is one of the most famous in England. The house contains a unique collection of priceless paintings, furniture, Old Master drawings, neoclassical sculpture, books and other artefacts.

Background:

Educated as a border at Eton and then moving on to King’s College, Cambridge, The Duke had average to good grades at Eton but supplementary, after hours tuition, with one lady mentor in particular, gave him the additional marks he needed to continue on to Cambridge University. She refined his knowledge in more than just algebraic resolution; indeed her language class extension defined the adjective ‘erotic’ for him in every conceivable way and her applied science class proved that they were not simply theoretical definitions.

He excelled in sports, his hand-eye co-ordination was excellent and this together with his athleticism found him playing half back for the very successful First XV rugby team during his last two years at King’s.

He liked the idea of flying aeroplanes, the freedom it afforded appealed to his basic psychology; he liked challenges and competition…and most of all, he liked to win. His nobility and education allowed him to join the RAF prior to the war and then saw him quickly moving through the senior ranks until finally he Commanded the 11 Group all throughout the Battle of Britain. Historical records confirm his many operational successes in command of the 11 Group in its defence of London and the Southern Counties. He later expanded his role of commander to include the 145 Squadron with missions throughout the Middle East, Malta and finally northern Italy.

Almost a year ago he retired from his commission and has suffered boredom leading to irritability and self abuse, both alcohol and women in his darker periods.

The RAF became his life throughout the war and this led to his estrangement from his wife, Isabelle. Although he now feels attraction returning on his part, he is increasingly uncomfortable seeing her seemingly enjoying her personal life when around friends. This aggravates his own selfish dilemma and pushes him backwards towards his old bachelor style excesses.

During the war, poker was traditionally the game played while waiting for the long night time bombing missions to return to base. It eased the wait and the torment of not knowing how many of his men he would lose. He recently determined that an annual poker event would be held at his home in memory of the fallen under his command.

Personality:

Smart, witty an outgoing personality and the life of any party but is sensitive and can be depressively lonely at times wrapped up in his own mind. He has, as his best friend and confidante, “Bull” Henry. His weakness is women, his desire is strong and his tastes are varied, some of which, in 1946, would be classified as experimental to perverse.
