Was just curious if anyone here played BattleTech? I have just ordered the stuff to start out and was wondering if anyone else plays because well my local BattleTech group is now just forming.

I used to, but haven't in 10 years or more. I fielded House Kurita / 2nd Sword of Light. There's still a pretty active playerbase here, mostly in Dublin and Limerick. I've some friends actually on their way up North for some kind of Battletech event today as it happens.
