Today I went on my first interview this in about 2 months. I researched the company and had a bad feeling that is was sometime of pyramid scheme, yet I went anyways to brush up on my interviewing skills. I'm still pretty sure it's a scheme but they said they would call to let me know if a second interview would follow.

Flash forward about 7 1/2 hours. I get a call from another job that I had applied for weeks ago, a 'real' job major company. I now have an interview for Thursday afternoon. I believe it was simply good karma for being a good sport and going to the first interview and being positive rather than writing it off, using it as an opportunity to better myself and now I am rewarded and more than ready to kick ass on Thursday.

.. because somehow I always hover right at the edge. What edge? Every damn edge. I hover.. I even usually start to slip.. but somehow.. I have no freakin' how.. somehow I manage to keep from truly falling off. Hmm.. now this can be seen from two different angles. One.. a cruel trick from the forces that be.. that might have a reason to keep tapping those manic blades of madness upon the base of my skull. Perhaps it's a form of revenge or karma or.. something from times where I simply can't recall now what I did to deserve such a relentless taunt. The other.. there is something quite out of whack deep inside me that tends to like the thrill of being right there on that fine line between everything and nothing. Some subconscious vapor that is really not quite right, in my opinion. Heh.. although right now.. it's not so bad.

Now that I read this back.. is that a reason for a pat on the back? For not falling yet.. yes, I do believe so. I'd definitely creep my way from those edges.. if I could. Ahhh.. but as gravity keeps us mostly on the ground.. those crumbling corners do work their magnetic pull upon me. Seems I have no choice.

I haven't made an irate phone call to the power company. I live in California, and my power went out Sunday evening, and was out till 11am this morning.. came back on most the day and went off again at 830 for about half an hour.
